Before our son left for USA on 1.9.2009 for higher studies, we had purchased a Titan watch model No.9275SL03 for him in Bangalore on 31.7.2009 at the cost of Rs.7, 995 (after a discount of Rs.2, 000).
We came to know a few days after his leaving that the watch had stopped, was out of order.
It was not possible to bring the watch back to India immediately for repair/servicing. We could get the watch in hand only during our visit to USA in 2011. But since we were also located outside of India, we could give the watch for repair/servicing at Titan Care centre in a Mall at Saket, New Delhi, on 13.1.2013.
We noticed after a few days of taking delivery that the watch had stopped again but could not take it back to the servicing centre because of our location outside India.
After being back to India in 2016, we had given the watch for repair at your servicing centre at South Extension Part 1, New Delhi, on 25.5.2016.
We have been informed by the servicing centre over phone on 3.6.2016 that the watch could not be repaired and instead Titan would take back the watch and give us a coupon worth Rs.1, 500.
This offer from Titan does not make us happy at all. We spent Rs 7, 995 way back in 2009 but could not use the watch. We agree we could not take the watch to a servicing centre within the warranty period because of our location. But at the same time, you should also agree that the model of the watch sold by you was a failed one.
Accordingly, we request that a new watch worth almost the value of the subject model be given to us as a replacement instead of coupons worth Rs. 1, 500.
We feel a new watch as requested above should be a genuine offer from a trusted and reliable company. We have been a regular customer of Titan. Please refer to our encircle card #[protected] for your perusal.
All receipts referred to above are available with us and can be produced upon request.

    Dear concern, this is in regards to my complaint about the titan watch which i bought on 19th feb 2016 from your franchisee at oberoi mall, life style (Titan showroom), malad - east.

    I bought leather watch and the sales person confirmed us that the leather strips will not get affected much for 2 years, but extremely disappointed with the quality i would like to share my grievances pertains to leather material. I again went at titan showroom yesterday (R-city mall) ghatkopar, mumbai yesterday, again the sales person and the manager rudely exaggerate that nothing can be done on this. I have my warranty card with me. Kindly confirm why the big name like titan fooling customers in this way!!! Badly disappointed with the quality and service from your staff.

    What's wrong with you people, why you people are playing ifs and buts games, already enough time we have given to you for the resolution, now you people are just calling and apologizing for your pathetic service but no one is ready to respond on this terms !!!
    And now your concerned team is just calling us to disengage your third class quality strips with the new piece but again you people are not ready to give any kind of assurance on the same. I need a written affirmation from you people that after using the fresh strips also it will be same as my old strips after three months, as you exclaimed on call!!! Please note I will just give you 2 working days time to determine this case or be ready for the another escalation level, where you people will have to be highly penalized for your misbehavior of your so called " Sales Manager of the titan showroom ' and your false commitments !!!
    I am giving you last chance to uphold your goodwill in the market by replacing my old watch with the new one or give me surety that after changing the leather strips it will not affect to the look of the watch.

    First of all, we appreciate the kind co-operation provided by your team in this regards.

    Secondly, can you please confirm what do you mean by free of cost, its a matter of your service / standards and a quality which Titan an Indian brand has failed to maintain and please ask your management to keep it in mind that because of your false commitments we are facing this issue, so stop using this word as FOC, And you are doing any kind of favor on us.

    Additionally, if you are replacing the leather strips then please make sure i would get written communication from your service team in terms of quality as assured by your Sales manager which he had given at the time of purchasing the same.

    Lastly, I am fed up with this ridiculous follow ups of yours, hence request you to replace my watch or give me assurance against new leather strips as mentioned above. After using 12-15 times if your leather is going to be worst quality then would also request you to give me replacement of strips every time after 3 months.

    I think this must be enough clarification and expectation from my end and hope the same is clear to you.

    Please stop playing with mails and just give me resolution.

      Dear Sir,
      i had buy a Titan watch model / design no.- 2531YL02 on dated- 03/03/2016, but within a month watch belt has major cut or strap cut shown, I send it to the TITAN World Ranchi, Jharkhand, for replacement against warranty or for the needful action but the seen is that already 3 months passed but not any kind o[censored]pdate or cal came from Titan. this is very ridiculous action shown by a reputed watch Company.

      So, sir, kindly help me to return my watch in good maintained condition as well as extend the warranty of 3 months which is already kept in name of repair at Titan service center.

      i called a nos. of times to the Titan world regarding the issue but every time they were passing the and giving me a date which has no mean.

        Hi team,

        There was no proper response with their customers. They just ignore them with some non-employed persons at store.
        And used abuse words with me and my brothers.

        Need immediate action to this issue, or else will go by court.

        They are not approach in a good manner and they dont have a motive to convince the customer they just ignore us very casually.

        If you want buy or lets getout from here with local manner. Its very irritating for us. I wont loose my self respect anywhere.

          I purchased a titan wrist watch on 29th July 2014, i have receipt. Product no. is 9924SAA. I want to change the belt of my wrist watch so last week i went to 'World of Titan' shop it is not available in any shops. I searched almost all shops in pune. They are saying 'It's 3 pin belt, it is not available we have to give order to company. It will require 1 & 1/2 month to deliver the said belt. But not sure'. So what to do now ?

            I had purchased titan wristwatch model no 9449km01j from titan world, burdwan, gt road branch, west bengal, pin-713101. The watch was seen a written 'all stainless steel' written on the bachside.. However.. After 6 months o[censored]se its rusted now though i took a recommended care of it. How is it possible with a real stainless steel? Also it became repeatedly slow.. I contacted the service care.. After keeping it for a week they said its ok now.. Again i got the problem repeatedly.. And each time the same respons from the respective service care repeated. Am very very unsatisfied wid the service they provide. It should not be with a big name like titan watches.. If you can, please respond to the issue as soon as possible. Thank you

              Dear sir/madam

              I sent my driver to titan taratolloa on[protected] at titan care 1, dh road kolkata-700038 showroom for my xylus watch servicing. They demand rs 2300 in advance otherwise they will not accept servicing request. My driver informed the person responsible for billing that he is not carrying any money and he can pay money after servicing or he can deposit it tomorrow but they didn’t accept the service request and didn’t agree to keep the watch at their custody after confirming the advance payment by tomorrow. I had to drive 10 kms to the showroom for depositing money and forwarding service request.
              I met the in charge claimed owner of the shop and manager and asked for the cause of this harassment but not only she behaved badly but insult my driver very rudely in front of me. She raised the question of my purchasing capacity and other nonsense talk arrogantly. However i have deposited rs 4100/- for servicing of the watch
              I will be happy to know the titan policy, whether titan accept servicing request only against advance payment or not? If the policy is that why i will not seek support from consumer protection act that without giving service how titan claim for money where i am depositing my watch at their custody ?
              I will be happy to know whether titan is promoting this arrogant lady to behave badly instead of bringing support to customer?
              I will be happy to know whey titan will not take any action against this showroom and why i will not campaign this story in the social media and other places?

                After purchasing i found that the clip of
                The bali is very loose and the earring comes out very easily. Immediately i complained to your thane shop and
                Ubsequently to bandra (Carter rd) shop from where i usually buy.
                Every time your salesmen did some small adjustment and told me that now it is fine. I was never satisfied with their work but could not find better solution than the adjustments made by your team. I must have had it adjusted at least 5 to 6 times.
                Now, unfortunately 10 days ago i lost one earring which fell down from my ear.

                I request you to look into this matter and provide me a replacement piece as i am a loyal customer with tanishq.

                  Worst service and lethargic persons.

                  I ordered a frame of 4k and glass charges 4k additional. I gave advance of 4k.
                  When i went to pick up the spec, its armed were bent in a wrong shape. When i argued with them, they told it had glasses now and cannot be changed or corrected.

                  Now i had 2 choices:

                  1. Lose my 4k to leave spec there itself.
                  2. Waste 4k more (Total 4+4= 8) to possess that bent spec.

                  What a waste of my money and mood. Damn on titan eye.

                    Hi, I purchased a Titan watch in year 2000. I have been chasing the Titan store and their customer services to arrange the watch straps to which I have never received a fruitful response. Titan wants me to submit my watch at their store in exchange to rs 1500 voucher. My watch is working perfectly fine and do not want it to be exchanged for rs 1500 voucher. My watch model number is 9246. On last occasion when I requested the service center to arrange two set of straps, I was told that I won't face this issue again and straps will be arranged available to me without any hassle. I have been chasing all this for past 4 months now. Please help, my contact number is [protected].

                        This complaint is with regard to deficiency in services provided by the tanishq showroom, m. G. Road, indore.

                        I have invested in the golden harvest scheme of tanishq in february 2016 and filled an esc mandate for deducing emi per month auto debit from my bank account. But they have not completed the formalities regarding ecs, due to that my two months instalment overdue and as per agreement after third overdue instalment company has a right to cancel the contract / scheme from that particular customer. After overdue of my instalment i called the marketing person so many times but he didn't reply.

                        Then they collect the cheque for that two months instalment and at that time again i signed the ecs mandate for auto debit facility. At that time they assure me that at this time they will do the things properly and on and onwards from the next month your auto debit facility will start. But nothing could be happened again my instalment got overdue and they request for cheque.

                        This is very irresponsible behaviour by the employess of tanishq m. G. Road, indore showroom. Now i told them to shift my account to some other showroom but they are now even ready to talk.

                        Please do some desirable and needful to solve the problem.

                          i m amrita from ghaziabad .my brother purchased a titan watch item code-1640ym04 description de736 on 11.feb 2016 for my marriage purpose. but the problem is that the watch is looking good but the color is golden so my husband does not wear the watch still because of golden color.and i also visited at ur showroom they said to me its not a possible and they did not replaced the watch..i just asking and told him u can take a any depreciation of this watch and give the same model but color is change but they did not give me any solution and also misbehave with me..this watch as a show piece for me in Almiraha when marraige to till future as it is for me because this is a useless for me and my money also waste...please do the needful and replaced the watch. i also pay charge of other model and depreciation also.

                          This is rediculas company of titan ..they only sale the own product afterthat customer suffer any type of problem they did not have any solution . i think titan is a fraud company and i recommend our relations and people also. don't believe with the titan and purchase also. i will registered the complaint in consumer form and also registered in court.

                          My watch is not any scratches but titan technician how could found scratches.its a just only make the customer fool and dined to me . i don't know that when sold the product they committed more promises but when customer want a solutions they back own promises and misbehave with the customer.
                          If my problem is not short out then i ll take a action against titan company.

                            I purchased titan watch from titan show room on 12/05/2015 against bill no:[protected]. This watch within 2 month stopped and i have given for service center. They taken for service and returned back after servicing within 10 days (As per service center - complete machine changed of watch).
                            After servicing again this watch stopped after 4 months and again i given to service center for repair.
                            Second time i asked to service center to resolve the problem permanently or replacement of new watch. They denied and said ; your warranty covers for 2 years and we will give the free service for 2 years.
                            I argued with titan service center but they didn't replaced. They said;problem will not come again.
                            Service center again changed the machine and taken time for 10 days.

                            After second repair also, this watch stopped within 1 month time period of second repair.
                            I went to service center for replacement. But they registered as a normal complaint and they misbehaved with me badly. They said, we will replace for 2 years up to warranty period freely.

                            I told them to keep with service center and i will complaints in consumer court. But they have taken easily. Even though they have not worried from consumer court. They said, we are brand titan, so no body can touch them.
                            I want to replaced with new watch. I have faced already major problems from this watch.

                              I purchased titan edge watch from shoppers stop malad mumbai on 11th july 2015 and now the watch has stopped working, the lock is also not working of the metal strap, pin is coming out from the case which is in between of case and strap, color is fading i.e it is getting dull on 18th may 2016 i submitted the watch at shoppers stop from where i have purchased with acknowledgement note sr. no.12996 and i am asking them for replacement as there are so many problems arised in a watch within the warranty period of time as wel as i talked with a company personnel on the help line or complaint centre with complaint no.1177447 on 20th may 2016 they replied to give me the answer on 25th may 2016 as there was response from their side i contacted the service centre of titan company is ready to repair . what am i suppose to do to get replacement of above said watch

                                Iam dr. Bhatia, my mob. No.[protected], i have made 2 purchases, so far at your new store tanshiq kalyan,
                                I got phone call on my wedding anniversary on 19th april 2016, by lady, from your store at kalyan, maharshtragreeting me on that & she was confirming if i have received gift sent some 10 days back by them.
                                After then, i have called them twice, but they said they are looking into it.
                                Then few days back i got a call that courier person has eaten those sweets sent as gift. To me.& they have taken no action even afer more than a month.
                                Now my question is why the hell are you sending sweets in our names, when you want courier person or i donot know it could be staff, eating sweets.
                                Iam shocked at such a cheap & casual approach by kalyan store staff.
                                Instead pl. Send offers directly to customers on our email id, whether for jwellary or voucher for sweets from reputed store. By this you can avoid theexpenses of courier & also the cheapness of your staff or courier.

                                  Myself dr anjan das. Today my wife mousumi went to our nearest world of titan.
                                  It was around 11.30 am in the morning on 18/05/2016. The store was not very crowdy.
                                  My wife's titan card no —[protected]
                                  She went there to change the battery and belt.
                                  Unfortunately my wife approached a lady (At customer service desk) who was really very reluctant regarding showing belts of wrist watch to my wife.
                                  First of all she told that this particular red strap/belt will not be available. But at the same time some other executive / engineer showed her few red belts. Again the lady was not showing any interest in showing these belts or even telling price... Even surprisingly she was handling with few other red belt. But not uttered any word regarding these belts.
                                  Probably this reluctance was due to non purchasing of new item... This was a visit for servicing???
                                  Our grievance was not only for this erratic behavior. My wife witnessed this similar type of behavior with two other customer from your side... Namely from ananya.

                                  I am lodging the complain for the fact that this type of erratic behavior may hurt anyone's self esteem. Everybody visiting your store are not always from a very well to do family. But everybody expects a minimum respect and service from your end.
                                  Today i am writing in a hope that at your company will tell her to behave well in future. So that tiatn, a brand of tata, remain as the brand to be trusted blindly.
                                  But i should thank to other executives at your store... That pay hid to my wife's complain verbally and made a phone call regarding availability of the same belt while my wife was already at her home.
                                  But i think this quite a very very few sales executives to be counseled properly... So that the faith on titan (Brand of tata) remains unaffected, specially in the era of hyperactive social media.

                                    Hi, I'm jabi have 8watches, my wife 6, mom n dad 5 titan watches, in that we have 7 titan belt watches, whenever belt workouts' I go to ur showroom n ur ppl says bring bill, whaaat bought long how can I, no belts reason old watch / no 2 inch belts, they say keep it, we will call, they never did, I hav gone ther, they say no belts, they say to pick a watch n amount iz v v v lil...y all this...y do u mak watches when u can't supply belts. I'm sick o[censored]r so cld TITAN, vr nt going to buy anything from v poor customer centric company.

                                        We purchased a watch from titan fast track showroom on 15/05/2015, within 6 months of time, there was rusting in the dial of the watch which caused damage to his hands due to scratches. We had to travel 20 kms (Nearest service center) from my place to the service center only to hear that fast track watches in this range (2000 to 3000) has this problem due to sweat and is no wonder to them but we were given service by replacing the dial of the watch in january 2016. We are wondering if all the watches in this range (2k to 3k) causes this issue then why to produce watches in those range but still we were happy with the replacement and walked out.

                                        But again now for the past two weeks there is a similar issue and again we visited the center only to hear the same story saying it is common and hence one year guarantee is provided. But now that this problem has occurred twice in one year, it will be certainly be coming in the next few months. The service person at the center was hesitant to ask for a solution saying this has to go to bangalore or hosur for knowing the status.

                                        We have the below queries on mind and kindly address them,

                                        1. Why to produce watches (Of brass dials) which erodes and causes scratches due to sweat (Sweat is common for all) and the service person knows it but the sales person does not convey while buying or is it that only we need to purchase watches above 5000 so that we do not face the issues
                                        2. Now that the guarantee expires only on 15th may which was for one year before which we have visited the service center twice, how do you expect us to buy the same again? (I have attached the encircle card which we use with which you can see that we have purchase minimum of 5 to 6 watches but still with no happiness in service)
                                        3. Is there no replacement option available for such cases where the customer has visited 4 to 5 times for the same issue and has to wait everytime to hear from bangalore/hosur office for knowing the status
