To whom it is to be concerned...
Myself dr anjan das. Today my wife mousumi went to our nearest world of titan.
It was around 11.30 am in the morning on 18/05/2016. The store was not very crowdy.
My wife's titan card no —[protected]
She went there to change the battery and belt.
Unfortunately my wife approached a lady (At customer service desk) who was really very reluctant regarding showing belts of wrist watch to my wife.
First of all she told that this particular red strap/belt will not be available. But at the same time some other executive / engineer showed her few red belts. Again the lady was not showing any interest in showing these belts or even telling price... Even surprisingly she was handling with few other red belt. But not uttered any word regarding these belts.
Probably this reluctance was due to non purchasing of new item... This was a visit for servicing???
Our grievance was not only for this erratic behavior. My wife witnessed this similar type of behavior with two other customer from your side... Namely from ananya.

I am lodging the complain for the fact that this type of erratic behavior may hurt anyone's self esteem. Everybody visiting your store are not always from a very well to do family. But everybody expects a minimum respect and service from your end.
Today i am writing in a hope that at your company will tell her to behave well in future. So that tiatn, a brand of tata, remain as the brand to be trusted blindly.
But i should thank to other executives at your store... That pay hid to my wife's complain verbally and made a phone call regarding availability of the same belt while my wife was already at her home.
But i think this quite a very very few sales executives to be counseled properly... So that the faith on titan (Brand of tata) remains unaffected, specially in the era of hyperactive social media.

Titan — Encircle doesn't work on Titan eye care

I was told that I have enough balance on encircle card but Titan Eye care centre at kalyaninagar, PUNE still wanted 50 percent in cash. Weird ??

    Hi, I'm jabi have 8watches, my wife 6, mom n dad 5 titan watches, in that we have 7 titan belt watches, whenever belt workouts' I go to ur showroom n ur ppl says bring bill, whaaat bought long how can I, no belts reason old watch / no 2 inch belts, they say keep it, we will call, they never did, I hav gone ther, they say no belts, they say to pick a watch n amount iz v v v lil...y all this...y do u mak watches when u can't supply belts. I'm sick o[censored]r so cld TITAN, vr nt going to buy anything from v poor customer centric company.

      The above mentioned watch (Sonata ocean series ii digital black dial men's watch - 77009pp02j) strap had damaged and watch is still working. I have been trying to replace the strap from titan showroom for more than 6 months. But there was no proper response. I also searched the strap online but it is not available.

        We purchased a watch from titan fast track showroom on 15/05/2015, within 6 months of time, there was rusting in the dial of the watch which caused damage to his hands due to scratches. We had to travel 20 kms (Nearest service center) from my place to the service center only to hear that fast track watches in this range (2000 to 3000) has this problem due to sweat and is no wonder to them but we were given service by replacing the dial of the watch in january 2016. We are wondering if all the watches in this range (2k to 3k) causes this issue then why to produce watches in those range but still we were happy with the replacement and walked out.

        But again now for the past two weeks there is a similar issue and again we visited the center only to hear the same story saying it is common and hence one year guarantee is provided. But now that this problem has occurred twice in one year, it will be certainly be coming in the next few months. The service person at the center was hesitant to ask for a solution saying this has to go to bangalore or hosur for knowing the status.

        We have the below queries on mind and kindly address them,

        1. Why to produce watches (Of brass dials) which erodes and causes scratches due to sweat (Sweat is common for all) and the service person knows it but the sales person does not convey while buying or is it that only we need to purchase watches above 5000 so that we do not face the issues
        2. Now that the guarantee expires only on 15th may which was for one year before which we have visited the service center twice, how do you expect us to buy the same again? (I have attached the encircle card which we use with which you can see that we have purchase minimum of 5 to 6 watches but still with no happiness in service)
        3. Is there no replacement option available for such cases where the customer has visited 4 to 5 times for the same issue and has to wait everytime to hear from bangalore/hosur office for knowing the status

          Yesterday(8th May 2016) was one of my worst exp wit Tanishq. Went to select diamond ring for akshaya tritya. The designs which they showed
          was not even worth looking.. so after much consideration decided not to purchase and left the showroom. When we were half way to our place suddenly we see 3 ppl from the showroom following us & stopped us. Said that a ring is missing.
          I do not understand how come they realized within 5 mins that a ring was missing. Whn we askd thm they said plz follow us to showroom. When we asked on what basis where we called back and were they doing the same routine chk with other 3 couples who were there around us looking for the ring... their ans were vague.
          They made us sit in the room & askd us to wait for mngr. When we repeated the same question to the mgr he said we saw you in the footage.. which is obvious becz we were there to purchase a ring but didn't clarify anything else and said this is a jewelery shop and it might be possible that the ring might have slipped to you guys.
          What does this means.. becz we were there becz we didn't purchase anything tat does not mean they have right to say these kind of thing or to thnk tat we might be responsible without any solid proof .. we were outraged by the way they were doubting us and immediately ask them to do physical inspection as we could not stand this allegation. As expected they didn't find anything & to top it of.. they did even bothered to apologize to us for the inconvenience they caused to us.
          I mean we were literally treated as if we were responsible for the missing ring ..however when everything was cleared they didn't even bothered to say a simple word 'Sorry'. I want to ask Tanishq that... is this the way they handle these situations.. is this the way they treat their customers...

              I have changed my spectacles lens by liberty progressive white essilor ue-149 in titan eye + in vadodara considering titan is one of tata companies which is reputed for quality
              I regret to say that they have not dispensed my spectacles strictly according to the prescription .I am unable to see my vision properly i have gone to their shop at baroda and explain all matters to them but they have refused to help to sort my problem they are saying i have to report this compliant with in a month from purchase date i have explained them i was out of country for six months from that purchase date which is under warranty for one year pl help me to get back my lens liberty cost of 9000 and all the costs because of their mistake i have visited eye specialist and they have told that my lens in my spectacles are not properly fixed by the titaneye+ optician
              Hope i will get back my money or free replacement from tata company titaneye+

                  I purchased a Titan Edge Titanium watch about 2 years ago, the glue in the original strap that came with the watch came undone and I nearly lost the watch. Anyway because of an alert friend the watch was saved, I went to the authorised Titan showroom for a strap replacement, it was replaced with an authentic Titan strap and then I was presented with the bill and what a whopper that was, they charged me a sky high Rs.1490/- for the strap and that too with a steel buckle and not a Titanium one. Pure leather shoes cost about that price in reputed shoe companies and last much longer...what I would like to know is how Titan justifies this exceptionally high price for two tiny strips of leather...this is absolute day light robbery.
                  My HMT watch and strap is 18 years old and never has been replaced and probably will go strong for another 10 years...
                  Justify yourselves Titan Industries...charging a bomb for a strap !!!

                    Myself dr.Biswajit dey.Today we visited titan showroom at bajrakabati road, cuttack, orissa- 753014 with my wife at 8.45pm when store was open and not wasting much time we selected two watches to buy. We came to cash counter at 9.05pm and wanted to redeem our previous points in titan encricle card but store manager was in hurry and he refused to open system instead told to give mannual bill and said redeeming point is not possible after 9pm. We requested him to consider as we heard if we dont redeem points within 1 years, the points get cancelled. But he shouted at me and my wife and said that we can very well leave the shop and he would not mind if we dont buy also. Irequested him as its not way to talk with a woman and if he had these policies he could have informed us while we entered that redemption of points not possible after 9. We expect the manager in charge to be courteous enough and respect the dignity of consumers even if the store is seeling high and it doesnt mattter them whether 2 more watches are sold or not. The store manager name is mr.Vivek. He denied to tell his complete name.
                    Hope out plea is taken care.

                      I had purchased a diamond pendent (500067PXAAAB22) from mumbai airport tanishq showroom on 31.3.2016 for 20431.46

                      However there is a design flaw as the loop of the pendent is bigger than the size of the pendent thus the pendent gets stuck in the loop and gets entangled in the chain, I went to local Vadodara branch to get some help in sorting out my problem but the staff especially the jewellery labourer was very rude and all others were also not interested to help they said lodge complaint in the book and they could not do anything,

                      Kindly let me know what next, If the design flaw cant be corrected kindly take it back and pay full payment to me (Rs 20, 431.46).

                        Hi,

                        I bought 2 spectacles from the titan eye plus outlet in kukatpally, hyderabad. Both premium brands and above rs. 12000 /-. One was ck containing nikon lens and another tommy hilfiger containing crizal. The nikon lens is in perfect quality even after 8 months. However, the crizal one became almost unwearable after only 6 months o[censored]sage. It's full of scratches. Today, i.E. 17th april 2016, when i went to the shop to show them the lens they absolutely brushed of everything that it was my fault as it all depends upon my usage. I've been using spectacles since my childhood and don't need advice from anyone on how to use them. In the past i've bought lenses from gkb and never faced any such issues, but this was ridiculous! Moreover these lenses were already not in a very good condition when i first bought them. I'll never buy lenses from any titan plus outlets in the near future. Absolutely frustrated by the quality!

                          Hi,

                          I had your company is one of the best logistic company but now I am feeling you are one of the worst logistic company who can’t give basic service to customers and you are giving big big words about the customer service.

                          I never even thought service can be so worst.

                          I had sent my parcel on 30th March and my Parcel DWB no is[protected] till today not dispatched and it was very urgent consignment is sent. If I would have send by VRL and some other logistic it would have charge me very less and reach within 5 working day but I am surprise to see after 15 days also my parcel is not reach.

                          And I check online tracker my DWB no doesn’t have any details about my parcel and when I am calling with M. Balaji(Courier in charge brigade road branch) about my parcel he is not even responding properly my calls.

                          Finally if tomorrow I will not get any calls from you guys I am going to police complaint about my parcel and show you guys what I can do and even on social media I am going to give my feedback the kind of service are you giving to your customers.


                          Balaji([protected]) is one of the person handling your business who don’t have one small basic sense of customer service.

                          Better you guys can speak with him and trough out from the business otherwise will have tough times. in your business and you lose lost of customers.

                            Hari nath Pandey Tanisq manager Gorakhpur is creating discrimination among customers ..and I don't know what he is doing inside the showroom Gorakhpur every day opening only half shutter of the showroom customers are seen from the outside but when I ask to go in for purchasing the security sid that today it is closed . this happens with m 5 times . I/m trying to buy a chain for my mothers b'day before holi but every time security deny me to go in . sum time its said by security that opening and closing time of show room is 10 -5 some tims 9 to 5:30 some times 11 to 6 . but not allow to go In . customer s are seen from outside very clear, when I ask to r3eegister my complain about it security said come anoter day at 11 am when showroom open . want to answer of following .

                            why half shutter is open always if showroom is close.?
                            why half shutter open only every day ?
                            Why the manager is creating discrimination allow some to go in and some to stop ?
                            why not any kind of watch on tanishq showroom .
                            what is the exact timing of opening and closing of Gorakhpur tanishq showroom . and why not mention on the holding
                            I want to complain against him if you not take any action against his I go for strict action .

                              Changing of watch glass

                              I bought a titan women watch before 7 years for an 5000 rs/- few days before watch glass has been broken for an payment replacement i visited karur titan showroom but in that they are asking bills warranty cards for an payment replacement too..For an seven years how we could keep the bills safe..And even if bill is also there i am going to pay for replacement then why they are asking warranty cards and bills i do know...

                              I bought a Titan watch on 26th March 2016 from Gariahat showroom Kolkata.Since the wrist band had to be adjusted i asked the sales girl Richa to detach the portion of the wrist band of the bi metallic watch to adjust my wrist.the sales girl returned the watch in a box conveying that she had done the needful. however back home, when i took out the watch from the box, I found the undesirable part of the band not detached. as a result of which i was having problems wearing the watch at ease. having gone back to the showroom today, i was told in the counter that the band was not detachable. It is to bring to your notice that i was not informed about it while buying the watch. I feel that the staff in the Titan showroom forced me to buy the watch without informing me about the manufacture of the watch.moreover, when i am ready to exchange it for another watch, they are unable to show me watches of the same kind in the same price range. the behavior of the staff were rude and uncompromising.I am extremely disappointed with the showroom.I hope that the matter would be taken in all seriousness and addressed in the earliest.

                                  Hello I have given my HTSE watch for service on17/01/16 in Titan safina plaza they told it will get ready within 10 working days but still now I have not yet received my watch . What service is this, everyday I have to visit the show room and they will reply tomorrow it will be ready . This is ridiculous, sort this situation.

                                    we have purchased a watch on[protected] in nellore andhrapradesh
                                    on the day of purchase they told us it can be exchanged in 30 days if we want to. on[protected] we have visited the showroom in Trunk road nellore for exchange the watch but they told us it can't be exchanged here and we need to go to other city titan showroom ( i use to think all world of titan are owned by tata but this fellow is exception) anyways we have gone to the nearest city tirupathi show room in VVMahal road and they told it is already month we can't exchange it now.

                                    NOW AM REGRETTING WHY THE HELL I HAVE CHOSEN TITAN SUCH A HOPELESS BRAND

                                    i am seriously disappointed by the was i was treated in nellore world of titan then literally deceived me regarding this issue
