I'm a titan dealer based in Kasaragod, Kerala. I have been in this field since 1967. I have been selling titan watches since 2003. My experience has been getting pathetic day by day as far as the quality and after sales service of the Titan watches are concerned. Whatever reputation I have earned for these years have been at stake solely due to the poor quality n after sales service rendered by your company. Now I am compelled to tell all my esteemed customers about the poor quality n poor after sales service before they buy any titan watches thus protecting my hard earned reputation.
Recently, I have come across a situation whereby my reputation has severely been damaged due to the following incident. I'm writing this expecting keen and prompt action from your end.
Incident: one of my permanent esteemed customer came with a titan automatic watch model no. 90010WL in March 2014 which was gifted to him for his marriage a couple of years back. The watch was given to me for the replacement of the glass which had developed a minor crack like thing, which I suggested the customer to use as it is as such a tiny crack would never matter to the watch. But customer was adamant saying wearing cracked glass watch is not a good sign. So I had to send it to the nearest service centre in Kozhikode through the distributor M/S:Mini Trading Corporation, Calicut. The watch was then booked for the replacement if the glass n months together had been passed awaiting report/replacemenet of the glass. After a year for now, the service centre has been telling that a the watch had been sent to the factory in Hosur and the factory doesn't have such a watch anymore either to replace as a whole or only the glass. Then the customer asked me to get the watch back from the factory which the service centre is saying once the watch sent to the factory will never be returned and instead asked me to give the customer any other model for a 30% discount. FYI, the watch in question values over 12000/-Rs and moreover, anything gifted carries only sentimental value which cannot be valued in terms of money. The customer now is adament in getting his watch back which the service centre is saying impossible to do so.
Now, my reputation has been severely damaged beyond repair, all the credit goes to titan watch service centre.
I have tried to purchase the same model watch (thinking that i would bear the cost and replace the watch to the customer that would save my damaged reputation) from many retailers across India and none of the retailer have one.
Kindly let me know what can be done to solve the above matter as this has no solution from my end.
