My father decided to gift me a watch, the picture of which was clicked and sent to me for my approval. On receiving, I found a part of the glass broken, which somehow exempted attention at that moment. However, we had a picture with a dent in the glass quite visible. We decided to go to the shop and ask if the situation would be considered, also showing the picture. The shopkeeper or so called ' manager' instantly assured us that he would replace it and call us once the product arrived, because at that moment the same watch was not available. He also suggested to take watches of the same type of different colour, but as I wanted the same, he asked me to wait for 2-3 days. He even called us that the product had arrived. One day later, when we went, we were absolutely flabbergasted at his denial of all previous incidents. Firstly, he told us that we would require to pay for any sort of repair. Later he told us that the photo was not clear. Lastly, he said that the product came, but was sold out the day before. And this person here, sitting in an air conditioned showroom of titan calls himself a manager. This sort of behaviour is completely unexpected from such a renowned brand. This not only makes us question the person's character, but also brings a risk factor regarding the reputation of the brand. Besides, this is a perfect example of harassing customers, calling them up and then making up tales randomly. This should be brought to notice to anyone willing to buy from this showroom in acropolis mall, kolkata. There we were asking for a plausible reason foe such a behaviour from the person at the counter. Nonetheless, we were just greeted by nonchalance of the manager and a lopsided grin of the sales girl.
