I bought toshiba suruga pen drive of 16gb capacity on 27/03/2014 from online shopping from TRADUS.IN site. Suddenly it got corrupted & it's storage capacity reduced from 16gb to 4mb only. I contacted seller, but they deny to help. there is also no any service center in my city. please help.

    dear sir i have purchase 4 gb micro sd memory card on dt.30nov2012 under 5 yrs WRT. purchase from MIPS Computer, nanpura main road, surat. m-[protected]/[protected] by cash. under bill no.2249. on dt. 13/3/2014 i have personally visited MIPS computer shop and asked him for some problem with my micro sd memory card. he checked it and told me a card is corrupted. but no problem your card will be change. he given me address of service center about 6 km far from his shop. i personally go their with sd memory card with original bill. on[protected] a men at service center " i will replaced it but now i have no stock so come after 4 to 5 day. after 4-5 day i call to service center he said inquire by next week. then he(service center manger) and shop owner (MIPS COMPUTER) also asked me on mobile you came for replacement on 4th april 2014. then i again visited service center on 4th april2014 he told me after 2 or 3 days we solve your problem. then i visited service center on 6th april 2014 he told me i have close my service center. so i can't replaced. then i visited MIPS COMPUTER shop he told me i can not responsible for it. you will wait for some day. dear sir i request you please solve my problem as early as possible. i know toshiba is one of the reputed brand. so do not spoil your brand image. in surat. plz reply me soon bijal jariwala [protected] [protected] surat Gujarat INDIA

    sir my name is amarjit i am sold a toshiba memory card on 02/08/2013 and this shopkeeper say this memory card in 5 years guarantee than now 01/12/2014 in memry card is damage (it means no crack but no running in physical or any device )than i am going to shopkeeper and say about situation but shopkeepr say in this service station warranty i not take your memory card and i am tired a going to service center but not give proper service so
    so, ple.. help me and change my memory card plee.

      I purchased new led toshiba model no- 32p2305ze, serial no- eox14h01067k1 on 09/03/2014 from sony music, jamnagar. After 3 (Three) days use, voice problems occurred and not received voice. So i complained to toshiba by complain no- sr3f0023556 and mobile no- [protected] on 15/03/2014. The mechanical visited and shown some part problem so it must be replace immediately. But after 7(Seven) days, my complain is not solved and it is not good for any international company so, please, solve my above complain immediately as possible.

        I have purchased new Toshiba Laptop at 24/2/2014 and i have found problem in Laptop like below.


        1) Touch pad Right Key not Working Properly Required Hard to Press.
        2) Cooling Fan Problem because of that some tome laptop is dumped by Heat.
        3) Keyboard Space key is not Working Properly required to Press hard.


        I have complain in Toshiba Service center from last 20 days but still date we don't have any service from them. Also he closed my Service Closed without any intimation to. And also ignoring our call.

          Am using 24 inc led to in my home which brought on 2011 December with 3 year warranty.in last month my smps is short circuited due to lizard .But I didn't get the advantage of warranty period .I replaced that led to smps with painment ...I just cheated... I am going to consumer court...I lost my 7000++ for this... any other supports...then fast reply...am waiting

            Hi, this is inform our general public, as to how large reputed co's like toshiba are fooling their customers.
            I purchased this laptop from oman, in dec 2013 and on the 29 jan this laptops' mother board goes dead reasons unknown. I started going to the toshiba official website and to my surprise found that the laptop purchase date and month was may and not dec, hence i first had to fight for the warranty extension. After several attempts and after having uploaded the official bill of purchase and invoice the toshiba crm system reflected the actual date of purchase as dec.
            Then i had to start fighting with toshiba for the warranty support. When the technician visited my house to check the laptop, he said the laptops' motherboard was dead and the motherboard needed replacement which he said that they would have to order the motherboard from abroad and it would take more than a month for the motherboard to arrive to india. I was surprised where i should have been offered the entire unit replacement with no questions asked, these people tell me that only the motherboard would be replaced. The most disgruntling part about the replacement is that toshiba doesn't provide guarantee on the replaced motherboard, which could either be new or it could be a refurbished one. What the hell?
            This is absolute nonsense. I mean how can a brand like toshiba dupe its customers like that. Firstly a laptop of the brand like toshiba shouldn't have given way so soon in less than a month and a half. Besides there is no guarantee on the replaced motherboard which means what? They aren't confident of their make, brand and product.
            I have written to them a number of times and now they have stopped responding. Please read the mail trail below.
            ------ for laptop transference
            Hi,

            As per my discussion with your representative mr ankit shrivastav, on the 31st jan around 11 am regarding the transferrance of my toshiba satellite laptop. Serial number 5d205049s. He took down all details and asked me call back to check after 48hrs.

            However as per the update received from mr ankit, who answered the call even today mentioned that the email systems were down that day due to which transferrance of the laptop to the indian database hasnt taken place. Upon his advice he asked me to write in an email ensuring the process of transferrance is expedited.

            Please take note as this isn't a customer problem, if your networks were down that day, i request you to kindly look into the same and expedite the transfer of the laptop.

            Hi ravi,

            As per my discussion with you over the phone this afternoon, i mentioned to you that the laptop (Serial number:5d205049s) has been purchased from oman and not saudi and the date of purchase is 10th dec 2013 and not 21 may 2013. Hence ideally i am liable to avail warranty until dec and not may. Also i would like to highlight despite several attempts to register this laptop on the indian or middle east website, i have failed to do so thanks to the so-not-userfriendly toshiba website.

            Despite having mentioned to you, that the laptop has not been registered and after having purchased the laptop, i have flown into india. Thus there is no way i can contact your toshiba retailer in oman. Also as a matter of fact the toshiba laptop has been registered on the indian website now, hence it is the due responsibility of toshiba india to cater to my request. It is thus very irresponsible of toshiba to have told me to contact the retailer back in oman.

            Please find the attached receipt and bill of purchase of the toshiba laptop.

            I request you look into and action this at the earliest and provide me the extended warranty that i'm liable for, being a toshiba customer, before i have to take an advance step of going to the consumer forum, for which i'm sure you understand the repercussions.

            Hi ravi,

            I have been trying to register the laptop on the link mentioned by you, however it flashes the following error please find as attached in the email. However the warranty period is now updated on your server as per the official date of my purchase on your official website and as per my understanding the laptop has been registered on the indian database as confirmed by your call center executives.

            However, as i'm faced with a grave issue of the laptop being dead as the laptop doesn't seem to go on.

            I have tried all the basic trouble shooting besides your service engineer from the authorized service center at mumbai redington india has checked the laptop and claims that the laptop motherboard has gone dead.

            I fail to understand, how can a product of toshiba which claims to be japanese, just give way in less then a month and a half. The even bigger concern is that your service center says that they would be replacing the mother board and not the entire unit. How is that?
            If a product worth 45000 bought that too from a brand like toshiba, your service provider only agrees to replace the motherboard.

            Also i would like to highlight, that the service center has also mentioned that toshiba takes no guarantee of the motherboard installed in the laptop after repairs, the problem could also re-occur. I also understand that toshiba doesn't guarantee to replace the faulty motherboard with a new motherboard, which could be a re-furbished one. This is not acceptable and something that is just not expected from a brand name like toshiba.

            As you are aware that the laptop is absolutely new, purchased in the month of dec 2013, how as a customer would i accept you'll to replace the mother board only, when i'm supposed to get full the entire unit replacement. I do not accept to have the mother board replaced that too with no guarantee on the same which could be a refurbished one as well. I would want that toshiba take this up seriously and provide me a new laptop with the same configuration as the one i have.

            Kindly take note of the above and take the necessary action required, before i'm urged to take this up to you higher ups or the consumer forums. As this is something that is not acceptable from a brand like toshiba.

            Hi,
            I understand that even here my query/complaint emails are being handled by different customer executives, sometimes its mr ravi and sometimes geeta.

            Well coming to the point, i need to make things very clear, that i have purchased the laptop less than a month and a half back, and having invested on a brand like toshiba, its a matter of disgrace that your product that has such high market value just goes dead in no time.

            Besides, instead of assuring customer satisfaction, you'll very calmly trying to explain me policies of toshiba, something which i'm not concerned with...

            I as a customer demand a laptop replacement as i dont have the guarantee or assurity on the kind of motherboard provided to me will be a fresh new stock or a used re-furbished motherboard. Also whats the guarantee that this motherboard will not die off again? Also its not possible for me to wait for 15-20 days without the laptop as mentioned to me by the service center that you'll would take about 15-20 days for the motherboard to reach me. I can't wait for that long with out the laptop. Please take note.

            Having stated the above, i re-iterate that i want my laptop to be replaced with the same configuration.

            Kindly take note and action the above, as circumstances are forcing me to take this matter to the consumer forums where you'll could face severe repercussions besides the brand name of toshiba getting tarnished.

                I have purchased a 40", Toshiba LED (40PS200ZE) in August 2013 from Navrang Electronics, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. I start getting the picture issue in the same month & informed customer care also for the same. That time when the engineer visited our home, the issue didn't came in front of him, but now the screen has developed black spots through out & we registered a complaint on 15th December 2013 (complaint number ZD0032508). The engineer visited our place on 17th December & after checking the TV thouroughly, he informed us that TV need to be replaced. He also told us that he need some pictures of the TV to be sent to HO. After regular followup, he again turned up for pictures on 26th December and told us that it will take at-least 10 days more to replace the TV set. If this is the service quality Toshiba provides, which is known for their quality products, then it is a shame for them. They are regularly loosing the customer loyalty from their products. Request you to please escalate the matter with them and help me in getting the TV replacement ASAP. Regards,

                  sir, i am katukuri shravya and i bought a laptop in july -2013, it's a satellite c850-x5214 model and the serial no. is 4C235952Q, i bought in from parklane, secunderabad, ap. it has been over a month trying to figure out for a solution to my laptop . the consumer service(nacharam) does not respond and when i reach there manually i have been told that there is only one service engineer there and no whereabouts of when he comes or leaves. i tried online registration for the service but the person there says the invoice in not clear and when i say that i will manually do it at their office, there is no response. i request the concerned people to please help me out. email= [protected]@gmail.com mob.=91-[protected] PLEASE help me, it's been over a month that i have been around the service centre people. there is a hard disk problem and all my data got formatted. tired of this process please help...                     I have bought Toshiba 32 inch LED almost 18 months back. It has come with 3 yrs warranty. One month back the TV panel has burned then I contacted call center on 7 Nov (Complaint No:SRYD0013292) and service executive visisted my home on 9 Nov, told me that he ordered new panel to replace and it will come with in 3 to 4 days.From then whenever I called these people they are telling the same story and prolonged till now. When I called to India call center these people asking the story from the beginning and I patiently explained all this story to the each and every call center executive then they were simply connecting to the local executives(Bangalore) again the story is same. Because of these I remembered all of the call center executives by the names (Vivek, Manish, Saurabh..etc). I think almost all of the staff know my problem but none of them is provided the solution. From the past one week even the local service executives are not responding for the calls.This month I received Rs.1400 as a mobile bill for all these. I fed up with this Toshiba TV service.

                      I bought an LCD Tv From M/s Patteril Electronics, Kerala, on 17/12/20111,A Reseller in The Districty of Pathanamthitta Dt, The Serial No/ 32HVIOZE Sl No is 248528. I Have Lodged a complauint on his as complaint no 08341166 Dtd 30/08/2013 The TV Had developed a problem of Distrorted Image since tjhree months. The service people inspected and estimated a Sum of nearabout Rs. 7,500/- as the display panel has gone and needs eplacement. I would like to ask wheather the life of these panels from thoshiba is only less than 2 years. If so I would like to take this matter with the cosumer helplines available in india. Even after the repair who knows how many days it will perform I am really desparate and unhappy with the Product.

                          Dear sir, I( Bala Murugan. S) purchased Toshiba laptop on 13.07.2012 in coimbatore . Recently, i am facing terrible issues with this laptop , i asked the technical staff to come over here and check thoroughly and fix it before my warranty period gets expired. I mentioned in my email before expiration. Unfortunately, technical staff came to our place when my laptop warranty was about to expire. I was having two problems with my laptop- one is hinges problem and other one is the slow start up issue. hinges problem has been resolved by the technical staff by replacing it with the new piece. But when we ask for slow start up issue - the technical person says me that this must be Operating system file issue or hardware failure issue. when we reinstalled the Operating system again - we did not see much difference as earlier. it was still terrible , when we report this issue to their customer cell once again - they told us that our warranty period has been expired. I am quiet aware that my warranty period got expired and i have not renewed but i have mentioned this problem earlier before my warranty period gets expired. so , when i resent the email again , they came with the same response " our warranty period gets expired and they want us to visit their local service centre " - what i dont understand is the problem is not recitified properly and i am totally unaware of hardware and software knowledge . since , i have mentioned this issue earlier - i want the toshiba technical staff to come over here and take a look over and fix it properly. I am totally disappointed and i am in a mental agony with such improper response from the customer team with warm regards, Bala Murugan S. [protected]

                            Halo All, I am writing this complaint against Toshiba, Not sure if any actions will be taken against them or not as we are in India. My complaint Id is[protected]. I have purchased an led tv 32 inch model - 32PX 200ZE. after 6 months from the purchase date its lcd was not working, So i called up the service center and they sent a technician to us who said that it will be fixed within a week. It has now been 12 days and they are saying parts are not available and the best of all no one has a clue when it will be available. So we are now helpless and cant do much about it.                             Issue resolved, a technician came in on the 29th august and replaced my tv. It took them nearly 22 days to replace the tv. So from now onwards I will be aware while chosing brands.

                              I purchased a Toshiba C-850 I0010 Laptop with a Canon MP 287 Printer ( Onam Offer) on 26 august 2012 from Kerala. Since I wasn't aware of the specifications on new laptop " i didn't noticed the lack of outer lamination in it ! ! "

                              within 1 year i was forced to give the laptop for service twice...but still the laptop is unfriendly!!
                              1) my hard disk was changed twice such a way i was forced to format it......
                              2) the hinges became loose abruptly...
                              3) outer covering of screen got loose...
                              4) sound quality decreased

                              and today my system hangs abruptly .....when i contact service centre they again says that its because of hard disk... And i should to change it!!!!
                              i am fed up with ur service ....i firmly believe that toshiba deliverd me not a fresh laptop since i brought it through onam discount!!!

                                As I am faceing challenge with my new TV model no. PB21, 32 inch. From the beginning which I purchase on NOVEMBER 2012, services center engeniors change all parts of my TV one by one, after 100 calls and follow up done by me to TOSHIBA customer care and services center as well,
                                Last time I requested to replace my TV with new one because all parts were in changeing condition, but services center head AMIT/MANPREET and Manav convinced me to change all parts, while doing that they would extand my warranty period of my TV but they didn't , they also promised me if my TV have same type of problem in furture they will definatly replace my TV with new one within the warranty period.
                                Now after few months my TV is in same condition, Again I have done approx 50 calls to customer care and service center, but I didn't got any kind of response from the company customer services,
                                Now it is beyond my patients level, I dialed around 200 phone calls and talked with minimum 50 different representative of TOSHIBA with no response from the other end. I never thought at the time of purchasing TOSHIBA product that I would get these kind of pathetic service and fake promises from TOSHIBA's side.
                                Now I kindly request your forum to take legal action against the dealer or the company and get my LCD replaced with a new one and also the compensation for the trauma that I went through within this period. So thanking you with an expectation of a positive response from your end.

                                Toshiba — BMTC bus - rash and careless driving

                                I observed rash and careless driving of BMTC bus bound to Anekal on 04the Jun 2012 around 2.45pm to 3.15pm afternoon. Bus number: KA-01 FA-2099. Driving was very rash and careless. Honks frequently exceeding the speed limit in school and hospital zone. Please take action against driver and conductor.

                                  Too bad product I ever seen. brought a Toshiba satellite laptop several months before, first got hard disk complaint. then display complaint, now again hardware complaint ! I don't know what to do ! i think i wasted my money.. it still have warranty card. i can take it to the service centre and they may repair and solve the problem, but i am sure it will complaint again as usual..

                                    This is to inform you that we had purchased Toshiba ref GRM53UD sil gry on[protected] from Vijay Sales Pitampura, Delhi and our refrigerator was not cooling perfectly since an year. When we informed the latter about it they forwarded the responsibility towards the company and when the company was asked firstly, it did not respond to our calls 5 to 6 times, then a senior executive received our call and sent its worker. The worker informed us that the material inside it was in excess and we must empty it for 24 hours. As we were told, we did the same and limited the quantity for further days but the problem was not resolved. Again, our calls were ignored for many days and the same worker was sent and he informed that the refrigerator is very close to the walls from two sides and hence we must maintain some distance of it from the walls and he also charged for his suggestions every time. Again, we did the same but the problem was still not resolved.For around three months our calls were ignored and if received, then delayed. The same worker was again sent and he told us that it required gas and as per his suggestions we did the same again the very next day and our problem is not resolved yet. When we complained again then a senior executive promised us to send a senior engineer to consult the issue and a week is passed but no one has arrived. Since our first complain, an year has been passed but our problem has not been resolved till yet.. They are wasting our time and money as well and are not even responding to us and harassing us as even in 46 *C we had to live without even ice in our house and our refrigerator is not even working 30% of its original potential.

                                      I had launched a repair complaint with Toshiba on 30th May. My new Led TV was not getting on. Engineer bisited my house and told some part need to be replaced and it would take 4-5 days to get the part from the company. It has been around 15 days and whenever I call them they say it would take 2-3 days more.
