I bought Toshiba Satellite Laptop from Vijay Sales. The same day i realized the Shift keys on the laptop dd not works, then i went to replace it. They replaced it. After ten days or so, i realized that the LCD screen had diagonal lines appearing on it. I spoke to Vijay Sales and they said I would have to take it to the Toshiba service centre if i wanted a replacement. I took it to the service centre and Toshiba refused to exchange the laptop and instead just replaced the LCD, saying that replacement of the product only happens within 14 days of the purchase. I supposed i was delayed by a day. Now after 7 months or so, while the laptop is still under warranty, the LCD shows the same diagonal lines as the last screen. I filed he complaint with them and they again offered to replace the LCD. One of the cust. ex. on their phone line did tell me that this was happening due to faulty motherboard and so i should be getting the motherboard replaced instead of changing LCDs all the time. Now when i wrote to [protected]@gmail.com, this executive Rachna Joshi has been constantly telling me the rhetoric that executives do and not being helpful at all. On several occasions i have asked to speak with her superviser but she refuses to. what if this new LCD also goes bad after 6 months and by then my warranty would have expired, who would pay for that?

While i was still having a hard time with the faulty screen business, a new problem has appeared- I have a thick one inch vertical black line on the right hand side of my screen which has reduced the working screen-space by one tenth. I have been trying to get an engineer from Toshiba to visit me for over a week now, but all i get to hear from Toshiba (same executive) is some futer date that comes and goes.

I will have to bear the burden of investing in a Toshiba laptop, which, by the way, once i used to swear by. My last Toshiba lasted me five years. I am really trapped in this poor and apathetic attitude shown by Toshiba. Not only i will never buy Toshiba products, but also save other from buying one.

The current status is that I am still chasing Toshiba to make some sense.

Toshiba — Satellite Laptop

I have bought a Toshiba laptop in which the battery is pathetic, it only gives me a backup time of only 30 minutes. The service centre people do not repsond to the my service requestes.
Suprised to see, Companies like Toshiba india using GMAIL email account. Something wrong. Try " [protected]@toshiba-india.com"

    I ordered a Toshiba Regza LCD TV on ebay.in and the seller shipped me the Toshiba Regza LCD TV by 12th of July 2011 and I received it around 25-27td July 2011. Now from a few days I had a problem on the screen. There is a red line in between the TV and the lower part colour is all violet and black (I have hardly used the Toshiba Regza TV much since I use to work full day and most of the time out for tours). I complained Toshiba and since my seller who has shipped the Toshiba Regza LCD TV on 12th July has send me a bill of 12th July and now the Toshiba service guy says that it will cost me more then 80% to replace a new screen and suggested me to buy a new one TV. I am middle class person who could somehow buy the Toshiba Regza LCD TV and now I fill it was a full waste of money. Toshiba LCD TV are totally waste of money and I have learned that Toshiba has increase their sale by 80% in India and if you buy a Toshiba LCD TV keep it mind it will work only for one year only because they have started making such cheap Toshiba LCD TVs for competition with other company. Never ever by Toshiba Regza TV.

    If you have Regza LCD TV with one year warranty then Toshiba can't do anything for you because your warranty period is over. But I have also purchased a Regza LCD 24 inch TV with a warranty of 3 years. The TV is running fine till date. Its been almost 3 months. Please check your warranty card it should be 3 yrs warranty if you bought Regza 24 inch TV.

      On 19-Jul-2012 I lodged my complaint across TOSHIBA Toll free#[protected] in respect of problem with my LCD TV that THERE IS NO T.V.DISPLAY, but when I was using through DVD the DISPLAY is there but there is NO AUDIO.
      When the same problem has been conveyed to Customer care executive I have been advised to run the TV through DVD contineously for 5 hours so that problem will be rectified. Though, after doing so the problem has not rectified. After that, my complaint has been registered vide#[protected], dt.[protected] stating that Technical Executive will be attending my problem within 24 hrs., but unfortunately, the company technical Executive turned up after 4 days i.e., on[protected] evening and informed that there is problem with TUNER CARD and the mother board has to be replaced. Further, the next day i.e.,[protected] he informed that the said part is not available it takes at least a Week's time. When i called again to the Call centre people, i have been informed that it takes at least 15 days to replace the part.
      It is clearly understood that, there is no definite time schedule to rectify the problems as there is total uncertain prevailed in their service system and time frame what they promise.
      This is totally in contrary to the words & deeds what TOSHIBA speaks about "CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT". However, I request your goodself, take this call on priority and see that my problem be solved immediately.

        I purchased Toshiba laptop satelite 640 model last month. but key board not working last 22 days .customer care is not responding i lodge a complained by mail to Toshiba and as per their direction Even after 20 days these people are not able to resolve the issue. it is very embracing for me and causing serious business loses.

        I request every reader not to buy Toshiba Laptop.....don't repeat the mistake i have done.

        If possible please do something...

One day display colour got blured. i lodge a complained to Toshiba and as per their direction i submitted my laptop at their service centre (Nehru Place, Delhi). Even after 25 days these people are not able to resolve the issue. it is very embracing for me and causing serious business loses.
          I request every reader not to buy Toshiba Laptop.....don't repeat the mistake i have done.

            Sir,
            This letter is intended to bring to your notice the problem I am facing and have faced in the previous year with your sub-standard product. I am bringing this situation to your notice in anticipation of a solution from your side, or else I will forcefully have to approach consumer court for proper remedy.
            BRIEF FACTS
            1. I purchased a Toshiba LCD model 40 AV 700 E on 23.10.2010 through M/s VIJAY Sales vide Chasis no. 94105316. The product was warranted for one year.
            2. This LCD developed major faults thrice in the first year itself, the particulars of which is given below for reference -
            • Complaint no. 1203L0003 dated. 03.12.2010 - Remote control was replaced.
            • Complaint no. 517L0049 dated 17.05.2011 - Complete front panel was replaced.
            • Complaint no.[protected] dated 19.08.2011 &[protected] dated 16.09.2011) - Main tuner card was replaced.
            3. Now again the LCD has become defective and I am told by the personnel from your company who came to inspect the LCD that Main tuner card, which was replaced in Sept 2011, has gone defective. The replacement cost as told by him is Rs.11044 and Rs. 1350 respectively for the card and for service charges as the product is out of warranty. Further I am told that the warranty of the replaced card, which will be a brand new card, will be only for one month.

            After experiencing 4 major faults in this LCD, I can say that a faulty product was sold to me or the quality of the product was sub-standard. It is pertinent to note that in any television set there are two major parts, which are 1) main tuner card, and 2) the panel. In our case, both these parts experienced problems in the very first year. Further, the card which was replaced just recently has again become non functional and therefore the LCD is not working. Now as mentioned already, the solution that your personnel gave is to replace it and the same will cost us around Rs 12000/-. But there is no guarantee that the card will not face similar problem again in near future and if in case the new card also faces problem, we will again have to spend another Rs 12000 or more.
            It is important to note here that what a prudent man would do in this situation is not to invest more in this LCD and buy another brand new LCD, which in the present market scenario, will cost more than Rs 50 or 60 thousand. This is a loss that I have to face because of your sub-standard product sold to me in the pretext of the brand image that your company has created, which promises high quality products. Usually any television set which is of good quality works properly with or without small repairs for around 7-8 years. I would not have to invest another Rs 50000/- if this LCD was of good quality that your brand promises.
            In this reference I want to ask M/s Toshiba India ltd -
            1. To check why the product is going defective so frequently? What is the Quality control check?
            2. It is understood that now M/s Toshiba is giving warranty of three years on LCDs then why the products, which are less than three years of age, are not covered under warranty. If it is pricing issue considering one year warranty, then buyer should be given option of extended warranty against payment.
            Further I want to ask you for a solution to this present problem. I wish to ask for the money value of this faulty LCD, i.e. the price that we paid less the value of the card that is not working, which comes out to be around Rs[protected] – 11000). Or, the warranty should be extended free of cost. Or, this LCD should be replaced by a new LCD of good quality.
            I request Toshiba India management to look into this problem and resolve my issues.
            I expect quick action and also a reply.

              I have a Toshiba Washing Machine(Model:AW-9700S), purchased from Pushpa Agencies (2-3yrs back). till now it was working properly. but some how the spin function stopped working and i call the customer care number([protected]) and lodged a complain on[protected]complain no.:[protected]. after 2 days the engineer came and inspected the machine. in result, he told the circuit (chip) has gone faulty and had to be replaced which i will order and replace with-in 2-3 days. on 3rd day i.e[protected] i called again, they said parts (chip) still not received.its 10 days since than i have been calling TOSHIBA and the service centre[protected],[protected]) but still no update. the same answer. parts(chip) not received.

                Recently I bought a Laptop of Toshiba Company and now Facing Problem with it's Keyboard as its not working from last 20 days. i Have called customer care no. many times and he promised to come as soon as possible and also register complain but he did not came, and i am a working girl, want to get it done as soon as possible. so kindly look in this matter and please take action as soon as possible.

                  i bought a tv from toshiba and kept it packed in my dine hall for a week waiting for a DTH connection to be installed . when it got installed i enjoyed my new 40 inch toshiba tv .It was no later than mere 10 days , i discovered that my tv is not displaying anything . I complaint to toshiba about it . The guy came and after 15 min of check up he said that mother board is not working. Being a brand new piece just 17 days older i had to face this issue so i asked Toshiba to replace the piece . But Toshiba clearly said that it can not replace it since its now past 15 days the date of purchase. I contacted the head Mr Bhatia and its been a month yet no one came forward from Toshiba for my complaint . and now in my room i had to keep my 25 year old Onida tv which is working fine and makes me think that why i chose Toshiba .If anyone can help me then pls tell me

                    I was purchase new Toshiba Laptop before two month dated ( 13 -Apr-12).After one & half month i am facing problem in keyboard is not working and some hangind problems is system. For this issue I am visit the Toshiba Service center(dated 2 June-11) at Chandigarh sector 20D ( Redington).
                    They logged my laptop complaint and give me 5- to 10 days for replacing the keyboard or solve the hanging issue , but today is 15th days past but I am not getting any resolution of complaint after taking regulary follow-ups with service team ( Deepak ( Manager) Jyoti Executive & Gurpreet ) all are help less to resolve the issue .

                    Iam realy very bad experince toshiba center services guys mention above nobody taking any resposiablity and nobody not aware hwo to dela the customer ..

                    Help us to resolve my complaint which was pending from last 15 days.

                      I have been communicating with Toshiba India's Customer Service department for the replacement of my laptop battery. Its been almost a month now since Ive been trying to get in touch with them but there has been no resolution. Infact since the 1st of May they have not even had the courtesy to reply to my mails. I have sent them 2 reminders on the 10th of may and one today. Infact when I called up the Toshiba Service centre in Andheri West, the representative told me he is busy and will get back to me. What kind of a service centre tells its customers its busy. Nevertheless, I waited till next day. Since he never called up, I did. Again he promised to call later inorder to check if the component was available. When he never called after 2 hours, I had to call him back again. This time, the representative had the cheek to tell me that if I wanted a speedy resolution, I should rather call up the Toll Free no. I am shocked at the nature in which Toshiba selects its service outlets. Thats when I launced a query on the TPIL website, on the 23rd of April- Complaint No. 200412/00003. However, I am yet to receive a reply. It has taken Toshiba a month now to look out for my laptop battery.

                      Toshiba has one of the worst customer service mechanisms that I have ever seen. I myself work for the same industry and hence I am shocked at the way they handle their customers. I was happy with my laptop all this while. But if now someone has to buy a Toshiba product, I will advise them to never buy one, not because of the product itself, but because of the way the Brand deals with its customers in India. Terrible service.

                        I purchased 24 inch regza lcd TV from hypercisy vashi one month back.
                        Suddenly the tv went off and not started.
                        Logged the call on 1st May 2012.MB services suport executive Ashok came 3 days after i logged the call ( pathetic).
                        He said there is problem in part and that part need to get from warehouse so it will take 6 more days.
                        Now 6 days are passes.I called up customer executive again.
                        She said rudely that it will take 15 more days.
                        What the hell is this ?
                        I purchased tv just now and it not working and u are taking a month to rapair it.
                        Is it toshiba warrently u talk about.
                        My tv is off for so many days.U dont bother.
                        I will go to consumer court in 2 days and log the fraud case against toshiba.I will post this case to all social networks like fb and twitter coz i dont want anyone to get fooled like me.
                        Take corrective action immediately.
                        I suggest all people down here not to purchase any product from Toshiba as they dont bother about customers

                          I purchased TOSHIBA LCD 32AV800 vide bill no 831 Dated 30Jun2011 from Merryking electronics ,address at III M -27 Nehrunagar Ambedkar road Ghaziabad.The LCD is having manufacturing fault since begining. Two yellow line are appearing in display

                            Dear Sir/Ma’am,
                            1. I had purchased a Toshiba Laptop on 30 September 2011 from Techmart, Janakpuri, New Delhi. The Model was Satellite L750-X5317 and serial Number is 8B036762W. Sometime in March 2012 the adapter of the Laptop stopped functioning and I lodged a complaint for the same with your helpline Number [protected]. The Registration number given to me was[protected]. The replacement was provided to me within 96 hours and I was a satisfied customer till the same part developed a snag again.
                            2. I lodged a complaint with the same helpline number on 18 April 2012 and one Mr Adil took my call and gave me the same registration number. When there was no response till 20 April I gave a call to the same helpline and the second time I was provided with a number [protected] of Nehru Place Delhi from where the replacement was to be provided. There was one Mr Pawan who took my call and he assured me that the replacement will be provided within 48 hours. When I tried to contact Mr Pawan on Monday the 23 April 27, 2012 the number kept ringing and nobody would take the Call. I contacted the Helpline again and this time I was informed that due to some reasons known best to your office, my claim was rejected and I was provided with a new registration number[protected]. Till today that is the 27th of April there has been no response. When I contacted your helpline again at 0930 hours I was informed by a Lady named Reshu, who claimed that she was based at a call center at Delhi that the part was “in waiting”. When I requested that the call be transferred to some senior executive so that the level of my complaint could be escalated, the call was unceremoniously cut off. Thrice I tried the helpline and the call was taken up by the same lady and the result was the same.
                            3. Response from the number of Nehru place has also been equally disheartening with the standard answer being that Mr Pawan is not there and the part has not arrived. The only recourse left for me is to seek legal recourse for the services not provided to me as a consumer and the resultant mental anguish suffered by me.

                              I registered a complaint with Toshiba about my T.V. "Toshiba 24 HV10ZE" on 25/mar/2012.
                              My T.V.'s cable port was not working properly, their engineer namely "Mr Rajesh Shukla" came to my house on 28/mar/2012.He opened the T.V., repaired it but it started showing a red line in extreme left of the screen, when engineer was told about that, he said that a wire needs replacement. After two days he again came with a wrong wire. After two days he came and said that 'LCD screen' is damaged and it needs replacement. And after another two days their work-persons came and took photographs of my T.V.
                              And till now there's no report about the case.
                              I have sent two mails to their mail id's(Mr. Parmesh Bhatia and their official id) but till now there's no reply. I want you to make a quick action within 24 hours.

                                TOSHIBA LCD — NON INSTALLATION OVER A WEEK

                                I had bought a 42" Toshiba LCD from E-Zone on the 10/04/2010 . The delivery of the TV was done on 12th April . I was confirmed that on 13th the LCD will be installed but on 13th afternoon the concern officer Mr.S.Basu informed me that they did not have the bracket so the same will be installed on Saturday .Post checking with their Bangalore office which confirmed that the bracket had already been couriered , he confirmed that the installation will be done on 16th April . But today when I called them up they said that the bracket has still not been received and they have no idea when they will be able to install the same .

                                I had bought the TV due to the festive season with the Bengali New Year on 15th April . I was not able to enjoy the purchase with my family and friends due to the negligence of the company . For the past 1 week the LCD TV is like a showpeice in my drawing room which is lying there all packed up . I am going to file a complaint in the consumer forum for the harrassment I am going through

                                  I had purchased Toshiba LED TV (Regza 24PS1E), on 14th June 2011 from HyperCity, Royal Meenakshi Mall (Register No. 19, Cash Memo: 6011). The TV worked fine for few months but stopped
                                  working on around 20th December 2011. This is when the first complaint was made. Complaint NO.[protected]. The technician visited my house from Jeeves Consumer Service Pvt Ltd.(Bannerghata
                                  Road) and suggested a part replacement. It took them 18 days to find the replacement and fix my TV i.e. on 13th January, 2012. The TV stopped working again the very next day and I called them
                                  back. But they asked me to open a new case with Toshiba Service Center which I did (Complaint NO.[protected]. The same technician visited my place and suggested another part replacement
                                  which was completely unacceptable since the last part took almost 20 days. He discussed the matter with his manager and they agreed to replace the TV with a new one. Its 28th Feb 2012 i.e. today
                                  (time of this complaint) and I have not heard anything back from them. Every time I call them up, they mention that the request has been sent and it will take more time. I have already contacted Toshiba
                                  Customer Support numerous times including their Outsourced Repair Center Toshiba Jeeves but none of this has helped. Most of the times, they are redirecting my complaints onto different people.
                                  Finally, a Mobile No. was given for Mr. Rakesh who is supposed to be the direct person in Toshiba. I never hear anything from either of these people unless I call them multiple times in a day. No reply
                                  to any SMSes. I do not have any email address otherwise I could have written them emails too. I want them to replace my television with a new one.

                                    Mr. Mayank Agarwal,

                                    As per our discussion today, I am sending you this email and looking forward for free replacement of the defective remote.

                                    I bought the LCD on 27 Jan'2012 with 3 years warranty. Model number 32PB2. The remote was not working properly from day 1. I had to press the buttons quite a few times and I also tried at different angles as I thought it must be an issue with panel.

                                    I brought this into the notice of the technician sent from your service centre. I asked if it is an issue with tv panel that its not receiving signals properly. He waived it off casually stating that its a new remote and the buttons are tight. Panel is absolutely fine, its just the remote but its not bad. It will start working better after few days.

                                    It never happened and situation got worse but as long as it was working with some effort, I didn't complain. It use to work sometimes and sometimes it doesn't so I couldn't prove it thus I didn't call. Finally it stopped working completely a week ago.

                                    I called and logged a complaint 2 days ago for replacement. Complaint number[protected]. The same technician came and he said that the remote is defective so it needs to be replaced. I asked him about warranty then he said its only 15 days so it will cost Rs 900. The remote is not damaged from anywhere physically, it was a manufacturer defect. I tried to reason with him and asked him why he didn't check it at the time of installation when I pointed this thing then he tried to forge me stating that if I want he can get me an original remote in just Rs 700 internally. Its a forgery thus I refused. I called service centre and later part of story, you are already aware of that.

                                    I want a quick and clear response as I asked you in our conversation as in case if free replacement refused then I will be using at as legal document in my case.

                                      I have bought a Toshiba Satellite laptop c600 on September 8th 2011 and Iam having a warranty of 6 months left.Before three days a small hinging was seen on the left side of my laptop near the left speaker,above the power cord connection port.I registered a complaint in Toshiba and took it to a Toshiba service center at Coimbatore named Redignton India Limited Coimbatore,they told they will check and call me.After one day they called me and told that your laptop base cover is broken and it does not cover under warranty because its Toshibas policy.I went to the center and asked them for clarifications but they where not ready for anything and still telling the same that it will not cover under warranty.At last i asked him to open the laptop and show the broken part;he opened the laptop and the broken part was not the base cover but the thread which stands as an holder for the lid which was n the base cover.That nail thread is so small so that it has just to or three turns,and its is not broken at suddenly but gradually day by day because when he opened for showing it to me at that instance another small piece came out.But he updated in the Toshiba website as base cover broken.I asked him that the thread is only broken then why have you given as base cover broken and he told that the thread and base cover is moulded so its an physical damage.For real I highly recommend everyone that dont buy a Toshiba laptops form INDIA because the build quality is so poor.And also the complaint which I have had is a common complaint and there is videos in youtube claiming the same problem.Please take actions against this company ASAP.

                                        i purchased LED from SAB COMUTECH PVT LTD ,hari nagar,jail road. screches on panel. but no body take the action . and at last seniour person also not picking up the call . it's bad service .do not purchased any thing from sab computech.they will say also we will provide every product less than market price.and toshiba customer care also saying they can not help. so it's my advice to every body do not take the toshiba LED.BAD service.i[censored] call to toshiba customer care they will come giving the response but no change nothing they will do.


                                        It's my bad experience not with me some of my friends also
