Yesterday 21st june 2020 around 2.20 am when i tried to recharge an amount of inr 259.00 on my airtel mobile number [protected] thru airtel thanks application with my federal bank visa debit card ending with 5320 it shown that transaction failed. But today yesterday evening itself i have received an sms from the federal bank stating that an amount of “inr rs.259 debited by ecom txn using your card xx5320 at bharti airtel l on 21jun2020 09:40:34”

Because of the failure in transaction i have recharged my number thru an another sbi card ending with 4909 by airtel thanks application & it was successful.

When i tried to contact airtel customer service thru their number 121 & 198 am not able to speak to a customer support executive. So am requesting you to help in refunding the amount which is deducted from my federal bank account.

      I have raised the complaint on 25-March-2020.
      Regarding my mirror connection need to be cancelled.

      I had called Videocon D2H customer care on 25-March-2020 and they asked me to send a mail to [protected]@d2h.com. They were not taking the cancel request from anyone, due to covet-19 issue.

      As per them, I have started mail from my register email address to [protected]@d2h.com with all necessary details.

      And I have done multiple follow-ups in same mail chain but response on that mail. In the same time I have reached d2h custormercare many time but they said that, ‘you have follow-up the custormercare mail chain. Which is affected my money, work, time, mobile charge and mental pressure.

      Could you please help to resolve this issue and amount need to be restore to my primary account.

      Still I am paying money for both the connection.

      I hope needful action will be initiated from your end & strict action will be taken against Videocon d2h.

        Hi TRAI, I am Amit Mishra, user of Videocon d2h . On 28th May 2020 I had register a complaint in videocon customer care, that I am not able to see the channels and it's 23 days now, no one has contacted me from their side. When ever I call to their customer care they are not at all cooperating and giving excuse for covid 19, but is it really need this much of time? They are charging in daily basis for the service, which I am not using. Please help.

              Hello,

              To whomsoever it might concern,

              I am hereby writing this email with regards to the Disrespect, Pathetic and Worst experience overall being a customer of Videocon D2H for years now.

              Such disgraceful events have been happening for months with your customer care people who are working in your company who have zero knowledge about how to treat their customers and do not have any knowledge about customer service.

              I have been facing issues with your services for 1 and half years and today it was the worst and hopeless service again as expected.

              FIrstly, the set-top box has been replaced almost 3 times in a year. Whenever the complaint was raised the technician visited and said the set-top box is faulty and needed to buy a new one.

              I purchased a new one and that worked only for a couple of months and again the same issue, when I raised a complaint again the technician visited and said the set-top box is not working properly and needed to be replaced.

              Once again I had to purchase a new one after having multiple calls with your executives and supervisors. I believe that Videocon D2H just needs money and hence they give faulty devices so that it can be changed every now and then by using the customers amount to make money.

              All the hassle I have been through and then whenever I speak to a customer care I do not get any person who is professional enough to speak about any issue. They just hang up the call or either speak to customers in a rude way as if they are providing services for free.

              I had an issue while getting the connection shifted to a new place, I had to make numerous calls and schedule a technician as your pathetic customer care is of no use and if we ask for a supervisor they just hang up the call or just give some or the other excuse.

              It has not even been a couple of months that I have shifted to a new place and the problem started again with the D2H connection as "NO SIGNAL". I tried almost 50 times to the customer care however understanding the situation in lockdown I kept quiet and have not raise any concern.

              Post the lockdown was opened I have called and complained about the issue that D2h is not working, also i informed them that it has not been working since march and I could not raise a complaint as the customer care number was not working.

              The person whom I spoke to informed me that though you use the services or not your recharge amount would expire, which I have never heard with any other service provider like (Airtel, Tata Sky) - as they adjust the amount if the Dish connection did not work for a few particular days.

              15 days back I raised a complaint and I was informed that a technician would come in a day within 24 hours and it would be fixed. I never received any call from your technician nor from customer care regarding the same. Today I again called and asked regarding the complaint one of your customer care executives informed me that there was no request raised. Can someone tell me what kind of service is this ?? and what kind of standards is Videocon maintaining by providing this kind of services ??

              Today when I called and asked about the same issue again, they said no complaint was raised, when asked for supervisor the executive disconnected the call. I had to call back and speak to 2 different people again and explain the whole story again. Also I informed them that I have been recharging the TV as I expected someone would come and fix it and it should work. I asked them about the refund they said once a technician arrives and once the work is finished we will assist you with the same. Also on the same call I have informed them that I won't be paying the technician if it's not my fault and moreover your company should bear this for the inconvenience that has been causing me since months by using your VIdeocon D2H. Though I mentioned that fine, let the technician arrive and fix the issue as first priority and later we can discuss the same.

              Technician named "Prasad" arrived and as soon as he stepped, the first thing he said was 200 is the charge in a very rude manner, I said fine and he checked and went up and fixed the issue and unfortunately the recharge also finished today.

              He said you need to give me the amount Rs. 200 by cash, I told him you can speak to your company and I will recharge the same amount and you can deduct the same from my account. I do not understand how Videcon has hired unprofessional people in their customer care and field work.

              The technician "Prasad" just mentioned that you have to pay the cash or speak to customer care. When I called up to customer care some person answered the call and I informed my issue and the person hung up like always your customer care people do. Again I called and spoke to some lady from your customer care department and informed her the complete scenario and told her that the TV is not working for 3 months however I have been recharging it every month thinking someone would come and fix it. The very first statement she gave me was no refund will be given to you as it does not matter if you the D2h was working or not.

              When asked for a supervisor, she just kept the call blank for more than 3 minutes and she comes back and says no supervisor and we cannot help you. I told her I do not have cash and deduct the amount from my account I will recharge it, first she gave me the option and I handed over the phone to the technician "Prasad", he spoke to the lady and handed me the phone and the customer care executive mentioned that technician is not listening and I will have to pay him right away. I mean what kind of service is this ?? The customer care person says in a rude manner that I cannot help, there would not be any refund and technician says I need the amount right now, when I said its a problem from your end and I have been trying to get this fixed since 2 months and now you have responded and treating a customer this way, is this the way Videocon does business ??

              I informed the customer care executive that I would not need the connection and they can take the set-top box, she just hung up the call on my face without even listening to what I had to say.

              She said the technician is not listening, you will have to pay the amount. I said you can deduct it from my account. They said no it won't happen and the customer care executive ended the call.

              The technician was so rude and just said I need my money and you have to pay and was sitting on my head, I told him I am not giving you any amount until this is sorted, he just says please talk to customer care and customer care just disconnects the call with a bunch o[censored]nprofessional and sense less people.

              I was shocked to see the technician's response, he just said fine I will go and disconnect the connection and he just walked away and he did disconnect the connection. I was like wow, what a customer service Videocon is providing. Hats off to your people. Please let me also join your company and make customers a fool and just earn from them.

              It is such a shameful thing that I have seen today and you people have changed the meaning of customer service and customer satisfaction. Maybe you guys have a different level of maintaining customers by insulting them and making a fool out of them.

              I have been using Videocon D2H since years now and never I have faced such issues, I have changed the set-top box 3 times by paying 2500 every month which totals to 7500 in less than one and half year and recharging for Rs. 400 every month, if I consider last 2 years then it comes to Rs. 400*24 which totals to 9600 in which the D2h did not work for maximum months and paid service charge for each technician visit Rs. 200 for more than 10 times so far.

              Does your company provide the faulty set-top box to fool customers which does not even work for more than 3 months and it has to be replaced and you can charge another Rs. 2500 to the customer??

              When calling the customer care number the very talented and extra ordinary people speak as if they are the customers and we work under them, that's how to treat the customers.

              I informed the technician I need to escalate, he says send email or speak to whoever you want, I don't care and he was even ready to take off the set-top box along with him.

              I would like to see if there is anyone who is capable enough to handle customer issues and can look into this and also I would like to just close this connection so that I can choose a better service provider who provides at least some respect to their customers like Tata Sky or Airtel D2H.

              I would report the same to the consumer forum and would like to close this connection as soon as possible and would never in life recommend to buy any of the Videocon products. It was the worst and pathetic and hopeless service I have ever seen in my life where no one is accountable and capable enough to do their job. I hope Videocon hires some better individuals who have some empathy and concern towards customer issues and treat them in a proper way by providing reasonable solutions.

              Can I hope someone will acknowledge the same and have time to understand what kind of journey I had with Videocon being a customer for years now !

              @ If you can tag the HEAD of the Videocon Company I would be glad.

              Also, I am sure that this email in which I have expressed so much about the worst journey and my concerns would be ignored considering your customer service.

                I do write to public today with a very despondent services by Videocon D2h. Its more than 20 days services are found not functioning with the alarm of ‘signals not available’, waited for one day as there was a heavy rain fall in the town. second the problem persists, had no other option but for launching a complaint with Videocon costomer care. Technician arrived after 3 days and noticed that problem is with HD setup box. so he wants to replace it with new but had no extra / spare to replace the old.. of course charges apply. Even after 5 days lapse of time the problem not resolved and surprisingly i found complaint was closed and opened several times without my concern and SMS log in my mobile was evident. Approached Nodal officer of vijaywada and found not action. Daily the customer care in Toll Free No says complaint launched today and will be rectified in 8hrs time. same answer was repeated shamelessly for one week !…

                I am launching a complaint with govt authorities to intervene in the issue as because i have understood such complaints are plenty.

                The worry is this shameless Videocon says to take a new connection freshly instead of old …. i get laugh with their attitude.

                STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO OPT VIDEOCON D2H … A VERY USELESS SERVICE PROVIDER. STAFF DO NOT HAVE ADEQUATE KNOWLEDGE FOR PROBLEM ATTACK.

                  I booked a dishtv connection on 12 june 2020, the installation executive has charged rs1600 instead of 1499 and then we had opted for tamil language subscription but dishtv has provided with telugu (Which is not at all required) there is no support from customer care and resolution is not being provided and it’s been 3 days. Dishtv is unprofessional in this regard.

                      Dear trai team,

                      Iam teja writing this complaint about simcards are selling at high prices in retail shops andhra pradesh and telangana states.

                      For new sim card and activation they are charging 300/- to 400/- rs, same cost for other network porting also in all retail shops.

                      Most of the people's in india still using keypad normal phones they won't require mobile data and sms's they need only voice calls or talk time balance, so here the mobile network companies also not providing the require recharge plan's separately as per customer requirement's.

                      They are giving data, sms, voice all in that plans which is not necessary with high cost, while people taking new sim or porting to other networks, mobile data which is not useful for keypad phones.

                      So iam requesting trai team to please do the needful for public.

                        I live in Alibag, Maharashtra. My Videocon d2h service is not working since 2nd June 2020. I have registered complaint on their customer care more than once. I was told that a service engineer will visit and resolve the complaint. I have been calling them everyday since and getting the same answer. My patience has run out and I even contemplated action via consumer court.
                        I hope communicating via this portal will solve my problem.

                          I am residing in kerala state, alappuzha dt, kalarcode, in my home i am (And other 6 families in this surroundings are) having tv cable network connection from the agency named r. N. Network cable service alappuzha dt, mobile # [protected], kerala state.

                          On 2020 april third week (Lockdown time) the agency staffs came for the monthly collection at that time here we don’t have cable broadcasting. I asked them about this and they replied that den ernakulam, kerala state their main agent disconnected the entire connection because some of the customers are still not given the monthly remuneration. While hearing this i didn’t pay my remuneration and told them that let we have cable at least 15 days in a month. How we will pay in this condition. After that from the agency nobody came to me for the charge. While we facing the cable broadcasting problems for days and days, we tried to contact the agency in their mobile number which they issued to us but they will not response. For the last seven days we don’t have cable connection, we tried to contact them but as usual no response.in my home i am having 3 grand children’s who are studying in 6th, 3rd and in the1st standards are having the online classes. We are having no other option than the cable tv for getting them the classes.

                          Kindly take necessary needful action for getting us the cable tv broadcasting connection regularly and properly without any more cable broadcasting breakage from this agency. From 2020 march 11th onwards i don’t have any labor or wages, so in this condition i can’t have any other option than pleading for your sympathetic view on me and favourable orders in this matter.

                              I am a subcriber of siti cable network in vijayawada city for the last so many years. I am using two connections bearing cars numbers[protected]and[protected] they are not implimenting, your recent order wef mar012020. When we approached our local mso, he says our local siti cable operator has told them there are no such instructions. They are not giving 200 fta channels for rs.130 and they are charging for second connection in the same house rs.130 instead of 40% of the rs.130.. When we ask them no body is giving proper reply and avoiding the action. Hence we request you to instruct the siti cable operator, vijayawada to impliment your recent order with immediate effect.                                 I've bought the vodafone sim on 1-jun-20 11:30 am. Mobile number is:[protected].
                                @2-jun-20 03:04 am i have received an sms from vodafone saying "dear customer, this is to inform you that a rental amount of rs. 99 has been deducted towards international roaming rental for 30 days."

                                Vodafone had deducted rs. 99/- even if i haven't activated any services from vodafone.

                                  I have registered for a plan of above 200+ mbps from 2017 at my home.

                                  From feb 2020 they increased to 225+ mbps, wheneve i did a speed test i only got 93mbps and not more tha 100 mbps

                                  I asked cherrinet support team and engineer a lot of time, they said very rudely and impatiently that my laptop is not supporting more than 100 mbps

                                  I have done my own research and found that my laptop was supporting 1gbps.

                                  When i told the engineer he took my system in anydesk and tried everything, post which also the laptop got connected directly with cherrinet modem and i still got 90 mbps

                                  The next day he sent his engineer and now engineer checked for couple of hours and then he changed the modem saying that modem was supporting only 100 mbps.

                                  Cherrinet has charged me for 225 mbps without providing the necessary equipment to support the same.

                                  I have raised the below complaint with cherrinet once again to refund me a part of payment as they have changed me for higher plan without providing the necessary hardware.

                                  On 27-may-2020, today the engineer came to my home and checked everything but still the speed was only 100mbps, then he changed cherrinet modem to another modem of bigger bandwidth and then tested which gave me 225 mbps. I have been paying 1499 monthly whereas i was getting the lesser speed than that of plan 999 which means you have been charging extra 500 rupees without providing a supportive modem. We request you to kindly refund me inr 500 per month of last 24 months of service i. E. Total inr 12000 plus interest @18% for your gross negligence. Not to mention in case of otherwise we would need to raise this to trai and senior management. Regards lovelish lodha [protected]."

                                  After three days they closed the ticket with the below reply
                                  "spoken with the customer, he told that facing the speed issue, once the fe visit the customer end and replace the modem speed is get. Want to check the reason for the previous complaint. Refer ticket no: 402600."

                                  Now what about the money cherrinet has charged me in excess for last three years.

                                  I have also spent on upgrading to three more routers for getting the speed but end of the day when the modem is replaced my first router was able to give me speed i wanted i had shelled out additional inr 9000 for purchase of these routers

                                  I want a full refund of 24 months of my payment to cherrinet along with cost of router inr 9000

                                    Sir i use dishtv multi connection but i switch the dish one connection but i talk dish coustmer service i said my one connection is switch of six month but coustmer service my two connection is deactive when my next i talk coustmer care my active service started but not solve my problem and loss my 500/-

                                      I am having dish tv dth service consumer (Vc no [protected]). This month dish tv has automatically added 4 high cost channel activated (I donot requested) and charging me for that i tried to remove them but they said that it is lock for 29 days

                                        Address: At post Napne, Vaibhavwadi, Sindhudurga 416810

                                        On behalf of the villagers of Napne (located near Vaibhavwadi Railway Station, Sindhudurga) as an apprehension to the life of residents living in hazardous situation, we are compelled to lodge a complaint regarding Mobile Base Station Tower in middle of residential area.

                                        Certain aspects we shall put forth for your kind reference:

                                        1. As a general rule, Mobile Tower Station has to be installed at least 150-300 meters away from the residential area, but in this case the concerned authorities while allowing to setup huge cluster of mobile network base station have violated the said norm by erecting the tower right in the middle of residential area. The harmful radiation been emitted from the said Mobile Tower are causing several serious effects on the health of villagers and are also acting as slow poison to human lives too. People living within 50-300 meter radius are in the high radiation zone and are more prone to ill-effects of electromagnetic radiation.

                                        2. The electromagnetic rays are harmful in nature and are bound to cause serious damage to all and particularly infants, pregnant women and senior citizens are prone to serious illness. These health hazards could aggravate and there can’t be denial of the fact that this shall also lead to life-threatening diseases such as brain hemorrhage, cancer, etc.

                                        3. In general scenario many people including several buildings, societies have objected and are refusing to setup the Mobile Tower at their premises considering the known harmful effects. Although some for the greed of money have ignorantly enabled to setup such a harmful radiating tower within the touching distance of children’s and all others residing in the village.

                                        4. Article-21 of the Indian Constitution states that Right to clean environment is a guaranteed fundamental right. Life, public health and ecology have priority over unemployment and loss of revenue. This can be easily proven from the current scenario of COVID-19 Pandemic where the Government has taken measures of lockdown to curtail the health issues of corona-virus.

                                        Considering the gravity of the above-mentioned situation, we request you to take immediate action in stopping these harmful radiations and furthermore in relocating the Mobile Base Station Tower outside the ambit of the residential village premises.
