Dear sir/madam,
I have purchased new tata sky d2h connection in november 2018 and subscribed for annual plan with ultra hd pack. My subscriber id no. Is [protected].
As i have opted for annual plan, my annual pack was valid till october 2019. And because of the ultra hd pack, i could able to see almost all the hd and sd channels without any restriction. And that's why i had chosen for ultra hd pack for one year term.
Suddenly i got sms from tata sky office in march 2019, stated that because of new trai tariff order, you have been migrated to the best fit plan which has current key channels. And accordingly they been converted my ldp (Long duration plan) into this new plan, which is valid till august 2019 only.
According to this new arrangement my next recharge is now showing in august 2019, instead of november 2019 as per earlier ldp plan. That means i have to take loss of 3 months of my annual subscription.
Also, as per this new arrangement, i am not able to see many channels, which was earlier active as per my ultra hd pack. For example, if some channels are available in hd, it's sd version is stopped. As per earlier ultra hd plan, i could able to see all the hd and sd channels, without any restriction. Which is another loss for me.
In view of above, i have called tata sky customer care office for the resolution of the matter, as i want to continue with my original plan o[censored]ltra hd and it should valid till my original annual plan date, which is till october 2019. But they are failed to resolve my issue and i have to reach to nodal officer through mail for the solution of my problem. But after 3 mails of my back and forth conversation, they are only trying to provide the new plans only, which is not as per my original annual plan.
I would like to inform you that, i have gone through the trai new regulation and it is clearly mentioned that the subscriber those who has already availed annual plan with advance charges, the distributor/service provider cannot make any changes that entails any disadvantages to the subscriber.
In view of above, i would like to request you to review my case and resolve my problem immediately. I want to continue with my original pack - ultra hd with one year validity, i. E. Till october 2019. And my request has been supported by the trai guidelines, so please consider it.
Please do the needful at the earliest.
