The independent TV do fraud. I recharged in advance the yearly pack of 2800. But now the channels are stopped. The star channels are not working or many more channels are stop day by day. The customer care doesn't pick any call. They doesn't resolve the problem. I want that you will have to take an action against that. Please help us. Start the channels or help us to refunded our money.

    Hi Team,
    I have relocated to from one place to another in Pune. I have request to videocon to relocate my connection as well. They have sent their engineer and dis-mental set top box from my location and taken 400/- rs. Later a day they have sent another engineer and set up set of box.

    After 2 days, Vidoeon D2H has deducted 400/- rs from my customer care account.

    I have raised complement as well as it is very difficult to reach to videocon to their customer care no.They are not taking any action and not refunding amount for my set top box.

      I am using independent tv service. Most of my channels now are gone (all star channels and most others). I ve been trying to reach customer care number for a week noow but not it is not service. I can't add or remove channels from my best fit plan from website too because thay haven't updated it yet that service. Please help me in this matter. There are many dissapointed customers like me. Please respond.

        I have a strong complaint aganist my cable operator seven - ess cable tv network in kottayam district kerala they have violated all trai regulatioins they over charged me past two years they charged me rs.250 per month for under 100 chanels. Last one week i have no cable connection bcause of technical issue with their den set top box. Now they are not replace my set top box till this time and told me it is not their fault it is den network is delaying to replace. They only give me some fixed channels not allowed me to choose channel for my choice. I asked for them malayalam chanel zee keralam and 24 news they said they can not give this channel because it is not in their package. I am here giving my den card no:[protected] and hope to take action aganist them for delaying reinstate cable connection and not allowing me to choose channel and give me minimum six month waiver of monthly rent.

          Please see the below emails snippets for you reference from complaint no1 from yesterday to complaint no 6 which started on 6th OCT 2018 and I am still facing issue in my connection as frequent disconnects. As per your engineer also its wiring issue which your NON SKILLED technicians has spoiled BY PULLING IT WITHOUT ANY TOOLS OR KNOWLEDGE OF PIPING LAYOUT WHILE TRYING TO CHANGE THE COPPER WIRE TO FTTH DURING MULTIPLE...

          From last 2-3 months i have raised Online request for enabling new channels and Bouquets as per new TRAI rules and tariff but that online request is not getting implemented by D2h people.

          I have raised my issue many times atleast ( 12-15 times) either via Customer care calls or by emails but they have never responded back, on call they say my account is not yet migrated or some time they say they are facing technical issue or some time they raised a complaint to technical team or IT team to resolve my issue but till date i have not received any communication .
          Every time they reply with same message that try our Self Services options and every time i have to make them understand that those online options are not getting fulfilled by you as i have submitted online request many times.

          Please provide your support to get required service by D2h .

          FYI i have requested them to enable below choice of Bouquets and channels but they are not listening at all.

          After lot of follow up my issue was resolved.

          Videocon D2h has hired unprofessional and uneducated customer service people, if they dont have solution for your problem they will disconnect your phone...They just raise a complaint in system and no body attend them ...TRAI should look after these issues very seriously.

            Mi Customer I'd is[protected]
            Videocon D2H provide 130 channel at 153 including gst one hundred channel and all channels are mandatory including 25 national channel while as per Trai only 265 channel mandatory rest 75 we can select.
            But they give answer at present they have no such facilities i.e 100 channel compulsory.
            I want to take only 100 channl 75 from my choice and 25 from compulsory national channel but their customer care support team told that 100 channel is compulsory after that you can select.
            As Exp am selecting 70 channel as per Trai 25+70=95
            But as per Videocon D2H 100+70=170
            For thi 20 rs extra paid other then selecting channel charge because of channel is more then 100.

              Hi, i have vodafone sim card that has been deactivated due to no use of it since 3 months. Now i want to reactivate this but vodafone is asking to reactivate it in postpaid conn. I want to ask why is it mendatory to reactivate it in postlaid.???

              This is like a "gundagardi" of these operators. A person has gone somewhere their nw are not supported then why he should recharge that account.

                Herewith i would like to inform that our family used to watch regular channel say 5 to 6 along with 2 or 3 movie channel we used to pay videocon d2h 200 pee month.
                Now the same package cost not less than 450 per month. Also free 100 channel r of not any use. What is the fun. I think most of the aged middle class family may have similar views. I hope u try to reduce the monopoly of few premier channel. Lastly we have decided to stop watching tv.

                  Sir i have brought independent dth connection while buying company told and to pay 2800 which will be one year subscribtion free including 12 hd channels but immediately after 15 to 20 days removed all hd channels without any intimation. And now removed all star channels. There no office in jammu and customer service team is not taking the calls always busy. Independent tv is chiting the public. Kindly look after this matter at the earliest. Customer service team is not picking up the call since 16/04/2019.

                    I am a amit and i had sold 3 connection. They are cheating. We had paid one time payment to the distributor for one year service now they are removing channels one by one and no customer support from independent tv, the toll free number they had given is not pick up by anyone. So please take necessary action as early as possible. Otherwise shopkeeper will be in too much loss as the customers are saying to deposit their dish to us. So please take suitable action.

                      I Had dish recharge my d2h under customer id 69234114, but yet not start & just call customer care he told our engineer see to settopbox & take compliment about this his charge 200/- to pay him by you
                      What is situation I had recharge 500/- & fault from d2h .I pay to engineer who serve in 24 hrs Already 24 hrs gone
                      That is some one want entertainment then first he want to pay not recharge amount but other charges & min 2-3 days wait

                        Hi trai team,

                        As per your guidance, every user has to select individual channels so that only required channels can be opted.

                        However, on videocon d2h website -

                        1) first thing is under individual channels selection; not all channels are listed

                        2) if we go for combo packs then also none of the combo pack is having all channels

                        3) channels name are also not in sych in all given options.
                        For example, under platinum combo channel name is "rishety cineplex". However, under individual channel selection; same channel is with different name i. E. "colors cineplex". Please refer attached image on this also.

                        4) need to have all channel names same through out all given option

                        5) due to this; unnecessarily additional charges are added to plan as d2h provider do not have any process where if one channel is selected multiple times then charges for only one selection can be charged.

                        6) after submitting the selected channels option; the changes not get reflected in hours & worst part is the running channel got switched-off and after calling customer care; received response that it will take min. 10 to max. 24 hours time to get the channel available again as per selected options.

                        Please assist to get such basic things sorted at earliest.

                          I recharged for rs.330/ on 6/4/19 & they confirmed it by sms & received mail reconfirming the payment and also committed due date as 6/5/19. But all of a sudden on 11/4/19 a notification appeared in my tv that due date is 29/4/19. As a reply to my complaint, they replied that one month charge amount is rs.445.20/ i gave the working as under.: silver tamil hd combo= rs274/ adds on for vijay (17) + mega (3) + raj (3) ndtv (3) + timesnow (3) indiatoday (1) + discovery (4) + bbc (1) = rs.35 + 6.30 (Gst) =41.30
                          Grand total to be paid =rs.274 + 41.30 =rs 315.30./ so the amount rs.445.20 is not correct. I pointed out the excess amount rs.129.90/ is not reasonable and requested to extend due date to 6/5/19. For which vediocon is not responding till now and on the other hand they are remaining for further payment. Kindly help me. M. R. Basharapandian

                            How in the name of regulating anything can a government agency make sure that the rates of sat top box will increase and CLAIM that they have helped reduce then.
                            I used to pay 90 rupees per month and now I have to pay 153 rupees per month.
                            Is this more or less
                            Please explain how by paying more is beneficial to the consumer.
                            Also selecting channels from the menu is also a difficult thing and as you MAY know that most of the Indians are not Uber tech savvy or don't have the time to sit and understand such a complicated system for viewing television.

                              I have gtpl cable connection, they are not providing us channel selection option as we required, they insist us to select there choice pack which is higher rate then individual bundle pack as shown in trai site including taxes. I have asked gtpl customer care, they informed me that i should select the packages as they provide not my choice packages from list of trai channel selection bundle.
                              My gtpl stbid is 0000832c0000a73d. Stb model is gk27200. I'm from garia mahamayatala area.

                                  Respected sir, i am the registered user of airtel digital tv, after the amendment in cable tv rules i desperately tried to change/ select the channels as per my selection but to my great surprise i noticed that the airtel digital tv has made this simple mechanism so complicated. They are advertising that they have provided separate airtel.in/self care web link but in this web link there is no direct step from where you can immediately start the process of selection/change the channels. Initially they ask for registered no. Or mobile no for otp once you login with the otp after entering again they require mob no & type of customer but after filling those details even the link is not visible on their site. If you call them on their customer care no. The executives responds with poor knowledge & don’t give any clear cut information. This is utterly frustrating situation for a customer that even after spending more than 45-60 minutes talking useless things with these customer care executives your problem is not getting solved.in this regard you are requested to advise the airtel digital tv to take immediate actions /steps & make this mechanism user friendly. This is resulting in tremendous torturing & frustrating situation for a genuine customer like us who wish to have the selection as per their wish & not as per the service provider. Moreover there must be regulation on the noise level of naaptol as it starts literally in screaming voice with the start of tv. This is really an irritating situation as we literally have an intolerable screaming voice by digging our own pocket. I am seriously pointing out flaws which nuisance to a subscribers in a serious way! Pl note & advise all concern service providers to rectify the same immediately. Expecting a positive action in this regard! Thanking with regards!
