Hi all at TVS,

I have been an ardent TVS admirer and this brand has been a part and parcel of our house ever since my Dad first owned a TVS champ way back in 2000. So when it came to purchasing a Scooter I had no doubt but to go for a TVS scooter. The only confusion for me then was to select the right scooter since this was going to be the first time riding any scooter. I finally test drove all the TVS scooters (Pep, Jupiter & Wego). I just fell in love with Wego and the TVS fan in me immediately made me pay for the scooter in cash and take away the same on the very same day. While going for TVS scooters, there were a lot of naysayers who continuously told me not to go for TVS scooters. They were suggesting other brands such as Honda Activa, Hero Maestro etc. But I wasn't going to cheat on my favourite brand and so I went for the Wego.

I could notice some small problems (noise from front mudguard, noise from front shock absorbers) from the first day of riding the scooter but I was very confident because of my past experience with the TVS brand because I knew that TVS hired magicians in their service centers who with a swing of a wand made the worst of problems go away. But alas, my expectations were highly overrated. Because when I took the vehicle for its first servicing the people at Kalamkar TVS, Baner road, Pune, your authorized dealers, tried to hide the issues that we were trying to bring to their notice. For the squeaky noise from the front mudguard the person said, "Sorry Ma'am, we are facing this problem in all Wego scooters. There is no solution for it" (I was more pissed for the fact that this person was trying to shake my brand loyalty than anything else). For squeaky noise from the front shock absorbers pat came the reply "This same noise comes from all Wego scooters". He brought out another scooter trying to convince me that an irritating squeaky noise is common to all TVS scooters (while clearly there was no noise from the other scooter, the guy was saying that there is similar noise from that scooter as well). After convincing the person to look at the problems and give it a try we left hoping for smoother rides from our Wego.

The problems continued and in fact, newer issues piled on immediately after the first service. As soon as I got my scooter back from first service (from your authorized dealer Kalamkar TVS in Baner road Pune) the old issues persisted and a new problem started. The scooter now would randomly stop somewhere in the middle of the road. After hearing enough swear words (despite being a woman) I again took My Wego to your authorized dealers Kalamkar TVS at Baner road. Again there a barrage of explanations for the problems and once again when my husband and I convinced the service center to at least look at the problem they agreed to look into the problem. They kept the scooter overnight and returned the same to us on the next day in the exact same condition. Again the same problems persist. It is at this juncture that I thought to shoot a mail to the company itself. At this juncture, I am a confused TVS fan. I am starting to doubt my own loyalty towards this brand. I am sure one poor customer experience will not affect even 0.001% of your sales and hence I write this mail on a purely emotional basis. If I see some action from your end then I can confidently convince those initial naysayers and ask them if the brands that they recommend looks after their customers as well as my TVS. If even after reading (or not reading) this mail, I don't see any change I am going to be a normal scooter owner and going to agree to my friends that I made the biggest mistake and that the brands that they mentioned may actually be better than some random TVS.

Hi,

The pain continues with Kalamkar TVS Baner road Pune. My TVS Wego which had so many issues (as mentioned in my trailing mail) was "serviced" by Kalamkar TVS but seems to have got a new problem. When the scooter's handle is turned towards the right they somehow lead to braking of the two-wheeler. This issue has lead to skidding of the vehicle when I was trying to park my scooter and somehow I controlled myself. This problem was informed to Kalamkar TVS and they sent a person for picking up the vehicle (coz I have no intention of risking my life riding the vehicle to the service center again). Somehow this person wasn't able to reach us and we called Kalamkar to send the person again but there has been no response or follow up of the problem hence. We even visited the dealership to inform them of this issue but they just kept us waiting without any response for about an hour. My scooter is lying idle in my garage and it pains me to see the money I have "wasted" to buy and keep it. Kindly help and get this issue resolved as soon as possible.

    Dear sir, my Bike case no, 83307 & eng no, 82449 (MH-43 AX-8446). I purchase this bike Feb-2016. Bike could not start 29/10/2016 to till date. two time I chage batteries, but same problem found, Bike deler & service center not give response, 5 to 9 time I absent my job, I am in tention. Dealer said go service center say 8day close b, case Devali bouns not give. after 8days go they say no manpower.

      I have purchased tvs jupiter on 2/6/2016.
      I took this decision over my honda activa but now i am regreting for same.
      It's just four months i am done with two services and frustrated filing the complaint.
      Company has claimed average of 60 but considering all the parameters i am expecting average of 40km/lit but i am getting just 23-25.
      It's better i travel by auto. And whenever i am visiting service centre i am being taught the new ways of measuring average.
      I need and refund or a replacement of my vehicle else i will complaint in consumer court as well coz i am being mislead.

        TVS JUPITER -- WORST VEHICLE & RIDICULOUS SERVICES

        This is to inform you that I have recently bought a TVS JUPITER on[protected] from Aditi showroom (sector-10, Noida). I regret of choosing such a pathetic vehicle.

        It is near about 20 days only I have bought and faced so many issues with the vehicle.

        From very first day of buying it I am facing issues. I was cooperating at every point which is making me more disappoint .

        Initially, first day the PETROL METER was not working so next day I took the scooty to the showroom, to get it sort out.

        Then the [censored] sales person didn't told me all the required documents from RC at the time of buying the vehicle, after 4-5 days he was demanding documents which was not with me and giving ridiculous suggestions.

        The most interesting thing happened with me on MONDAY[protected] the vehicle stopped while driving on the road. It was not even getting started again so I have to drag it for near about 2 Km. After that I have tried with many kicks then it got start but unfortunately hardly for few mins.

        To raise the complaint i have called your customer care & requested them to please take it from my location to check the issue & resolve but again the guy has guide me with a [censored]. I have to make 4-5 calls to one another just to requested please help me. Then one of the person send an engineer he did something & said we need to change the petrol tank which i will be doing tomorrow, i said ok then he requested me take a drive & try. I said OK. Then moment he saw it was working fine then he said not need to change any part this will be working fine.

        TODAY again HORN is not working . It is really amaze to have such a pathetic vehicle & the worst service.

        NOW, i'll be waiting if you guys have a courtesy to take some action & replace the vehicle on PRIORITY without any more [censored] promises.

        Else i have to take some more bad actions, within 48 hours if I didn't get any positive response then i have to escalate the issue to the next step.

        This is to remind you again, I don't need services in my vehicle, I need the REPLACEMENT.

          Sir, i would like to inform you that i have given my vehicle no. Up65bl3298 for service with my staff on 17/10/2016 they have taken a time of more than 1 hour because there is no system after two days they have delivered the vehicle serviced they never provide the bill for servicing or any parts replacement after several reminders they have given estimate on there latter pad in which they have charged rs.50 for petrol when the vehicle was having more than two letters petrol at the time of delivery.
          I am personally not satisfied with the behavior and system you are requested take random opinion of the customers who are coming for servicing you will also feel the same which i am feeling.
          As per my opinion this will damage the image of tvs therefore you are requested to look in to the matter.

            Bike ka registration no nahi aaya hai aur raat mein bike chalane mein kafi pareshani hoti hai kyounki light hi nahi rahti hai mere problem ka nidan jald se jald kiya jay
            It's been two weeks that I have purchased vehicle, till now I haven't got any documents or any update.. It's very disappointing that even after spending so much we will not be able to drive

              You are requested to provide any circular that any dealer can refuse the request to provide service in his area and customer has to be suffer to take his vehicle more than 20 km instead of 1 km.

                I purchased jupiter on 4th nov 2016 I paid price which they asked 59700+400 after that at the time of delivery when I asked about helmet they make fun of it and their reaponse was that gov. Just thinking about helmet policy and blaa blaa blaa
                We or our company till not accept that rule there is no.any kind of letter from govt. If you want helmet we will charge rs. 670 extra..

                    Sir/Madam,

                    I purchased Jupiter ( PB02 CQ 9125) from Sangam TVS Amritsar in June 2015. Since the date of purchase there has been problem of self start. I being lady could not get the scooter serviced myself, so I preferred pick-n-drop with Rs 100 extra payment. Right from the first service I have been complaining about the self start problem but in vain. Every time the pick up man used to park the scooter after service and hand me over the key and the problem came to my notice the next day when I was to go to work. After the last service, as usual, there was service satisfaction call from the agency and this time I gave zero mark to the female employee on call. Earlier we were giving satisfactory answer being genuine and caring people.
                    One day I sent my husband to the agency with the scooter but it was a matter of dismay to mention that he was told that the battery is not working and it has to be changed at my own. They neither changed the battery nor satisfied me about my complaint. Then I immediately got the battery changed (Exide make) from the market but the problem still existed. My husband again visited the Sangam TVS on 11.10.16 but the Incharge posted at the service block of the agency showed him out with the ugly reply that this battery is also not working. On 12.10.16 my husband contacted the shop from where this battery was purchased to change the same. The seller was ready to change but before that he put his electrician on the job. This battery was fine. Accommodating me he checked all electrical connections and wires after opening the shields of the scooter and removed the fault and charged me Rs.300/-. The scooter is working fine now.
                    So the reason of my complaint is:
                    1. That I got unnecessary harrasment for more than a year.
                    2. That I had to spend Rs.1230/- for the purchase of new Exide battery unnecessarily.
                    3. That the outside electrician charged me Rs.300/-.
                    4. That the people at Sangam TVS are incompetent, irresponsible, untrained and work shirker. Had they opened the whole electrical compartment of the scooter, the problem could have been solved much earlier.
                    5. The iron guards installed around the shields and front body have also left the colour as they were covered life time guarantee at the time of purchasing the scooter.
                    6. That with heavy heart, I may say that I have suffered a lot for no fault of me. Hence, full compensation be awarded to me for the money I spent.

                      I went to susheel tvs motor company at hafeezpet hyderabad for a problem bcos my bike wego was stopping after some distance everytime. Everytime when i was raising the accelerate the bike was getting stopped. I explained the mechanic my problem he was saying me to come after 2 hour than i said i will wait in the waiting room. He is saying i cannot saying whether it will be repaired today or not. These guys just don't work and fool customers.

                        I had purchase tvs apache 160 rtr from meeradhan enterprises, chandil, jharkhand. I had problem of oil leaking from corroborator. I had lodged complain 1 month back on your website regarding this issue. Then some dealer from jamshedpur and ranchi had called me to know the issue but my issue is not being sort out, one executive ([protected]) from ranchi had called me in khunti workshop and check the issue, he had dis mental the carborator but he is not sure about the actual problem, because according to him everything is fine and told me that some part will be changed tomorrow. Then after one i am calling him daily from last 20 days to executive but they are not doing anything even not picking phone call. After dismental the carborator oil leakage problem had increased. Please look into the matter since oil leaking is serious issue, i am getting very low milage.

Key disfunctionalities, damage caused by rats, starting problem are mentioned to be a few caused by the poor and ineffective work force at the said place.

                              My name is ghanshyam ramnaval pandey. The showroom name is tvs delta. I am purchasing tvs victor bike on 28/10/2016. The chesis no of the bike is md625mf15g1l33780.in this bike the problem is on the riding time bike is automatically going/turn on right side.
                              I have tooled the service center but they cannt change the bike and problem is not solved.
                              O plz action on the tvs company and replace the bike from tvs motors.

                                I have purchased tvs wego from sajawat motors, vasai road on 4th december, 2012. the free services were carried out as per schedule. but as far as paid services are concerned, each and every time they have been charging exorbitantly which were paid by me without any hesitation.

                                On 24th september, 2016, i have sent my wego for service to vasai and they have raised a kachha bill (cash/credit memo without any number) for an amount of rs.2, 150/- which was paid by me. i was not at home while giving delivery of my two wheeler at my place. the concerned people have just parked the same at my society premises.

                                When i checked on the very same day, to my surprise, the horn was not working at all. when i contacted the service people, i was conveyed that they will depute someone to get it rectified. but till date, no one has turned up for this purpose.

                                When any vehicle is sent for service, is it not the responsibility of the service people to ensure that the same is in perfect condition while returning to the owner?

                                Inspite of my repeated reminders, no one has bothered to attend my complaint.

                                I am very much disappointed with the above and i am even thinking to approach the consumer court with my above grievance.

                                I am, actually, constrained to take help from the local service people to attend my above complaint.

                                I would appreciate if you please look into the above and revert.

                                  Worst free and paid services.I had bought a Jupiter 2 years back and the product functions like a decade older.worst services and unauthenticated service centers.Revert back with solutions if customer satisfaction is valued.Give the customers the value they deserve or tvs will perish from this segment of indian market.

                                  Some times, we have to wait for 1 week.
                                  Why we have to pay labour charges for same thing again and again

                                    Hi I have bought a new Star city vehicle and the service which isbeing provided by Lotus TVS is disgusting, The new vehicle is making lots of noiseand when I went to the showroom they made visit twice and finally they asked me to wait till 1st service and the mileage is very less than the promised mileage.

                                      I have booked a tvs wego from saibaba tvs showroom, akurdi, pune by paying an amount of rs.3000; i wanted grey color but it is not available with them currently, so they told me to put red+black color as of now on their form and they will make the color available soon. Meanwhile i made an inquiry with same dealer in hinjawadi area; i got a much better quotation and assurance of my color choice plus heavy discount on accessories. So i decided to go with hinjawadi's showroom and requested akurdi showroom's sales person to transfer the same amount to hinjawadi branch. (Dealer is same, vehicle is same, only different branches due to preferred color choice and better quotation). But akurdi's rude sales person did not agree on this and asked me to pay rs 500 for cancellation and said that even my preferred color wont be available for next 1.5 months. My question is why should i pay this cancellation amount if i am not cancelling the purchase;instead i am just asking to transfer m amount from different branch for my preferred color and that to a better price

                                        My jupiter is having a problem for kick and its is not fitted perfectly and ocenic is the dealer which i m having service self start is also been not solved and facing problem since last 6 months and this is the worst service i have ever had and i m sending my jupiter back to the company for research and get some solutions to this type of complaints and over flow of petrol is also a major problem and call center of ocenic ask us to give full marks to this type of worst service if tvs customer care ask for service marks
