Most uber cars in bangalore have no seat belts. Is this not a requirement?

Especially to and from airport late nights not wearing seat belts is a major risk.

As it is drivers don't wear belts. Some of the drivers are reckless and on the airport road this is quite dangerous. This is a basic safety requirement in any country and i don't u derstand how uber permits it's drivers to be so careless.

    Payment made on paytm is reflecting to pay

    My last trip at 18:36 from hbh colony to ashoka enclave is paid by paytm. The transaction id: [protected] of paytm.

    The payment of rs.108.66 paid by paytm is not reflecting in my uber account. It shows "there was a problem loading this receipt".

    Do you want us to complete the payment on next trip.

    Please rectify the above mentioned issue.

      Driver cancelled my trip. I reached the pick up point in 2 mins. Called him thrice. He didn't answer. When i claimed for refund that was charged. It says i.. It can't be adjusted. What do you mean i have exceeded adjustment limits. The driver cancelled. Do you mean now in future even if driver cancels i have to bear the expenses. What is this non sense policy. Awesome way to treat loyal customers and make money by exploitation

        I booked the cab on 10.10.2018 from navrang cinema to dilshad garden metro station. A fare of rs. 184 was shown in the uber app.

        After the waiting time of 20 minutes cab came and we reached to dilshad garden. Driver asked to pay rs. 398/-. I was shocked that i used the same path which was shown by app. No waiting time was there.

        I submit the complaint to uber, and they are not ready to pay the differential amount of rs. 214.

        The fare may vary 5 to 10 % but they are charging more than double.

        This is a kind of cheating with the customer.

          The trip was booked. The driver took the booking. Later tried to call him as he didn’t arrive in given time. He asked what is the destination, when told andheri, he cancelled the trip and uber charged me for the cancellation. This is highly unprofessional from both uber and the drivers side. Firstly i am the one who is late for the trip and secondly i have to rebook the trip due to cancellation from the driver’s side and thirdly i pay for the cancellation? Does it make any sense. Uber is exploiting its customers and creating a bad reputation. Driver number - [protected].
          I would give very bad rating to the driver for such behaviour

            I have booked a trip from karkarduma to radisson blue kaushambi. The trip was showing the price of 93 rupees but at the time of drop, the driver was arguing with me to pay 203 rupees. I don't understand why. It is been 10 days i am waiting for their response but customer service is not getting back to me till now. This behavior is not excepted from good brands like uber. If this continues i will not use uber anymore and will not recommend others to use. I will also post this on social media.

              Today morning i had booked a cab from you to go to metro multispeciality hospital, noida and your driver mr. Bhagwan with his car no. Hr55w8543 came to the pickup location and asked me where to go to which i replied accordingly. He refused and said that he cannot go to noida and the trip should be cancelled. He tried through his phone as well as through my phone to cancel the trip and number of times the cancellation process failed and at the end it was cancelled. Immediately i got a message from you that a cancellation charge of rs.63/- will have to be paid by me. For the fault of your own driver, why i should pay the cancellation charge, because your driver has cancelled it and the trip could not take place. Please therefore confirm by return that no amount of such cancellation is to be paid by me. Your immediate reply will be highly appreciated.

                This is poojitha, i am an uber account holder, one of the member from uber is misusing the database, the name is rajiv and mobile number is [protected], he is just pinging to me and irritating, he said like i got your mobile number from uber database.
                This is how you maintain your database and there is no security for customer details.
                Please take some action on this kind of things, this is really a very bad thing from your part.

                  I booked a cab with the fare of 151 rs and paid the same in cash at the time of trip end (Screen shot attached).

                  Later i got a receipt of rs 302 and now in my uber app 151 rs is showing as outstanding.

                  I raised the complaint but no one is bothering. Now uber want me to pay the outstanding amount of rs 151 rs when it was not shown at the time of booking.

                  Now they are saying that we have revised the fare and you have to pay!!
                  But why?

                  They should show the accurate fare at the time of booking. 302 rs is too high for that trip if this was shown at the time of booking i would have taken some other mode of transportation. I can not pay any additional fare because o[censored]ber's issue.

                  This is fraud.

                  The climate is hot so we I listed the driver to switch on the a/c but he said I'll not switch on the AC and if you want you can get down from my cab..this is rude and unacceptable he is using g bad language at the customer..we are still in the cab..

                    Today i booked uber auto to go to rajajinagar from vijayanagar - a distance of abt 3.78 km, the auto driver was madhu mohan. The charge was rs 40/- which v paid. Today i bkd an auto from rajajinagar to vijayanagar - same place pickup at rajajinagar and drop at vijayanagar. As per the bill the distance is 5.92 km and the amount charged was rs 91.95, the driver was mr shreedhara.

                    U advertise that for first 4 km the rate is rs 25/-. But v hv never got an auto at this rate. But today was the limit. Same distance and same places, why the difference in rates. I paid rs 40/- for one trip and rs 91/- for the return trip. Pls explain why this discrepency.

                    V r senior citizens and never expected uber to cheat us like this. V always had a good opinion o[censored]ber and hence decided to book only thru uber. This experience makes us to discontinue using uber.

                      Hi Uber team,
                      I have been overcharged on my last few rides.
                      Today as well, the estimated fare was 217. However, i was charged 280.
                      Since this is directly debited from my Paytm Account, i didn't have the option to protest. Please note that there were no deviations in the ride or delays from my end. Can you please share the logic behind this? I would like an explanation.

                        Yesterday 23.00 hrs i was as usual waiting for the uber vehicle infront of park hotel at park street kolkata.. I booked 5 cars all drivers refused to go to my same destination of everyday. Rather they said that it's too far as its not in their home destination which they clicked before so i had to cancel. After cancelling 5 cars oviously ur server is not giving me any car and thus affecting my ratings.

                        When u can't allot a car in my destination then why ur giving cars from other destination maximum drivers refusing to do the pick up.. At the middle of the night after long day stress long can u wait...

                        So i called for ola they are very prompt in service... Irrespective of giving ab awesome biz for more than 1 year i want to detach myself from uber. It's pathetic..

                        I from now onwards will avail ola coz u guys don't know the way of retaining ur passengers and customers..

                        I use to pay a huge money every day in uber that's the return of my loyalty what o got.. Shame..

                        I had booked a cab on pool from Digholi Pukhuri to IIT Guwahati and after accepting the ride the driver denied to go. He insisted me on cancellation. I did not and he decided to come unnoticed to my nearby spot so that after arrival at my spot it cancels by itself. Now I charged extra without me canceling for it but the driver

                          There are 2 complaints related to Uber cancellation Fees
                          Uber Bangalore:::
                          1. Booking Date - 08-Sept-18 --- I booked Uber for catching up the Train at KR Puram Railway Station. After booking I called Driver, Driver told me I am coming within 10 mins after dropping another passengers. It was showing little away from my pick up location. After 10 mins, again I call driver, driver told coming within 5 mins. It was running around more than half an hour.
                          After that he cancelled the trip. So, immediately I rushed to Auto stand and booked auto. some how managed to reach KR Puram station to catch long distance train. I was thinking that okay he cancelled and there would not be any cancellation charge. But my thought was wrong. Driver did not come to pick up and cancelled the trip. Then how Uber charging this type of cancellation charge????
                          And strange think is that, that amount has been adjusted when I traveled to Kolkata for business purpose and booked Uber for travel. Uber added 08-Sept-18, cancellation fee with trip booking unles until this amount not allow to add to trip amount, Uber will not allow you to book the trip.
                          when going to Uber help app ---- it is showing that it is more that 1 month case, not allowing to make a compaint.
                          It really very pathitic and why UBER charging the cancellation fee for Driver cancellation when Driver in different pick up location and not wish to ready to take this Trip. Where is customer fault to charge the cancellation fee...This is loop hole o[censored]BER app and for which Driver is taking the benefit of this OR UBER has been found out this new rule to income the amount from pessangers with this dirty policy as no customer care etc.

                          Same case on 09-Oct-18, early morning around 3AM booked to catch up Howrah station from Airport 2no Gate, Jessore Road. As per map it was showing to reach pick up location around 1hr. I made a call to Driver, asked why you taken this Trip, he was asking me to cancel, then I asked him to cancel. But did not cancel on that time instead cancel after 30 mins. And cancellation fee charge and deducted from my paytm wallet. This time I made the complaint to UBER through UBER app. As per MAP it was showing different to Pick up location, then how UBER charge this?????? This is again loophole o[censored]BER apps and making money/earning money from people by cheating with people. There is no different between cheater and Uber...
                          I do not know whether I will get back my hard earn money from this Cheater like Uber...
                          Need urgent attention from UBER...

                            I am meena from chennai working in egmore railway hospital. Daily i book uber auto to go home in the evening. Friday 05.10.18 also i booked uber auto. Vehicle number i dont remember. Ended in 4588. His number is [protected]. I had to pay rs.109.86 and i paid rs.110 to the driver. Then on monday 08.10.18, when i tried to book uber auto, it showed outstanding amount rs.109.86 due. Why? I cannot operate my uber account.

                            These people do not revert on time, I usually take a route and due to error in GPS in app Navigation system by uber is showed a different route which I though will be looked into while on going ride. However this was not resolved.

                              I am m. Anush, i had found at uber cab driver (Ts 11 ua 5733), mohd awais ali khan, with very rash driving today i. E 8th october near shankarmet, hyderabad
                              Then i had asked him that "why are you driving so rashly?"
                              Then he replied me with very bad words in hindi language and he was drunken
                              I didnt liked his behavior and response towards public as well!
                              And when i checked his car number in ts e-challan i found he also had fines on rash driving also
                              So i request you to punish him such that he wont repeat it again
                              I hope you will take my complaint seriously and i want to know your reaction on my complain.

                                On 8.10.18 i traveled in uber in pooling amt shown was 99 but end of the journey it changed to 204.So i paid 204 as driver said that I have to talk to uber customer care for refund.
                                I am using uber cab regularly and I use the same route to travel from office to home.as it was in pooling cab driver has to pick other passenger and there was a toll if which I was not aware and driver opted route of its own I did not recommend any diversion in route. The co passenger who was picked later was not charged any toll though it was her pickup near to that instead uber charged toll in my bill. This disappointed me. Very bitter experience with uber. I asked driver about this he said that he is not responsible for this. So pls do the needful and refund the excess amount...I will not recommend anyone to use uber as from now inwards even am not going to use it ever.

                                I thank the forum for helping me in getting my refund back on ride of 08th october but to your kind attention as I booked the another can through ola they again charged me additional 56 Rs. As toll or surcharge. Initially trip show rs 99 ride in pooling but on dropping point bill reflected in cab app and mine app was 156. They are doing nothing just making fool of the people.

                                  Confirmed a booking on uber and the driver denied to pick up. He didn't want to cancel the trip in his and asked me to cancel where uber is charging rs. 42 or some amount of cancellation. What kind o[censored]tter nonsense service is this? Horrible nonsense and crap. Driver was very rude and used abusive language. This kind of behaviour of the driver and uber doesn't having a complaint channel appropriately is unacceptable

                                    I had an bad experience with uber from last 2-3 months. Uber had deducted from paytm also and my driver also charged a sum of rs.200. I want a refund of rs.200 plus rs.30 which was charged in addition to what was shown at the time of booking. The driver was also misbehaving with my mother at the time of collection of money. I want justice for the same.

                                      My name is rohit aggarwal and my contacts no-[protected], using uber facilities since past 1-2 years, and i feel am also a valuable customer for uber, i want to bring your attention on some major issue,

                                      Recently one of my family member admitted in (Chacha nehru-geeta colony) hospital and it was difficult to me to communicate from office location to hospital or my home location to hospital, for this issue i was using uber facilities to communicate form various location to hospital, but if i got 10 rides from via uber apps i had to face many issues for 6 ride and my experience was very worst,

                                      Most of the time when i booked uber cab and i have to wait for uber cab at my pickup location for 30-45 minutes even every time the wait time was 5-10 minutes and every time my request route to 3-4 driver and most of the driver give the fake commitment that they are coming but after 10-15 minutes they says that they can't come,

                                      Recently i had to go for hospital from my home location so i booked the cab and i was also searching uber driver nearby my pickup location but didn’t get the cab and i lost some money from my paytm wallet also and when i connected to the driver he was lying that-i was searching to you but i didn’t get you and now i have moved for another booking,

                                      And one more time i had to come form hospital to my home i booked the cab and driver said to me that you have very different location and i can’t come to that location so i requested to that guy if you are not coming kindly cancel this call so this request will route to another driver but he didn’t cancel that call, i contacted to that guy 16-18 time and for this i had to stay with my family for 30 minutes on the road,

                                      And also i got one more bad experience with pool cab, i booked cab for my home from geeta colony, i got the cab within 10 minutes my family member sat inside the cab and the cab went for my home but when that cab was about to reach at my home just 1km before driver stopped the cab and said to us i got another booking from gandhi nagar and i have to pickup also that rider we said no issue, but when he crossed complete way of gandhi nagar i asked to that guy now where are going then he agin manipulated us, we have to go in reverse just for 1km and he crossed 5-6km and then he picked up that rider form krishna nagar,

                                      And the recent experience which i got i stood at shastri park red light and i booked the pool cab for hospital and i got detail about cab and driver, when driver reached at pickup point i was called him and try to took the attention from that guy but he ignored me and he crossed the way without stopping the cab, instantly i dialled his no and ask for the ride he said to me that i he didn’t get my call that’s why i can’t stop the cab for you, i asked to cancel this call then he said you will have to cancel the call by myself, i didn’t cancel that call and after facing lots of trouble i lost agin some amount from my paytm wallet,

                                      And also i checked that there is no any helpline no for customer but driver has helpline no, if we have any issue where we can connect for our issue every time will i have to write a mail or i can get any easy and convenient option form uber side, kindly check these issue and suggest that if as in my case i am still facing some medical issue with my family member and after paying a genuine amount is it justified to wait or stay on road with family for 30-45,

I am trying to find ways and means to complain how uber has charged me cancellation fee when the drivers cancelled the trip. Not i. I nearly missed my out bound train from dadar because of the negligence on part of the driver and uber company. Please revert back. I have all the mobile and nos that refused to drive me to dadar.
