Hello Uber,

There are 2 complaints related to Uber cancellation Fees
Uber Bangalore:::
1. Booking Date - 08-Sept-18 --- I booked Uber for catching up the Train at KR Puram Railway Station. After booking I called Driver, Driver told me I am coming within 10 mins after dropping another passengers. It was showing little away from my pick up location. After 10 mins, again I call driver, driver told coming within 5 mins. It was running around more than half an hour.
After that he cancelled the trip. So, immediately I rushed to Auto stand and booked auto. some how managed to reach KR Puram station to catch long distance train. I was thinking that okay he cancelled and there would not be any cancellation charge. But my thought was wrong. Driver did not come to pick up and cancelled the trip. Then how Uber charging this type of cancellation charge????
And strange think is that, that amount has been adjusted when I traveled to Kolkata for business purpose and booked Uber for travel. Uber added 08-Sept-18, cancellation fee with trip booking unles until this amount not allow to add to trip amount, Uber will not allow you to book the trip.
when going to Uber help app ---- it is showing that it is more that 1 month case, not allowing to make a compaint.
It really very pathitic and why UBER charging the cancellation fee for Driver cancellation when Driver in different pick up location and not wish to ready to take this Trip. Where is customer fault to charge the cancellation fee...This is loop hole o[censored]BER app and for which Driver is taking the benefit of this OR UBER has been found out this new rule to income the amount from pessangers with this dirty policy as no customer care etc.

UBER KOLKATA
Same case on 09-Oct-18, early morning around 3AM booked to catch up Howrah station from Airport 2no Gate, Jessore Road. As per map it was showing to reach pick up location around 1hr. I made a call to Driver, asked why you taken this Trip, he was asking me to cancel, then I asked him to cancel. But did not cancel on that time instead cancel after 30 mins. And cancellation fee charge and deducted from my paytm wallet. This time I made the complaint to UBER through UBER app. As per MAP it was showing different to Pick up location, then how UBER charge this?????? This is again loophole o[censored]BER apps and making money/earning money from people by cheating with people. There is no different between cheater and Uber...
I do not know whether I will get back my hard earn money from this Cheater like Uber...
Need urgent attention from UBER...

    I am meena from chennai working in egmore railway hospital. Daily i book uber auto to go home in the evening. Friday 05.10.18 also i booked uber auto. Vehicle number i dont remember. Ended in 4588. His number is [protected]. I had to pay rs.109.86 and i paid rs.110 to the driver. Then on monday 08.10.18, when i tried to book uber auto, it showed outstanding amount rs.109.86 due. Why? I cannot operate my uber account.
    Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    These people do not revert on time, I usually take a route and due to error in GPS in app Navigation system by uber is showed a different route which I though will be looked into while on going ride. However this was not resolved.
    Uber on Twitter is also not helping

      Hi sir/madam,
      I am m. Anush, i had found at uber cab driver (Ts 11 ua 5733), mohd awais ali khan, with very rash driving today i. E 8th october near shankarmet, hyderabad
      Then i had asked him that "why are you driving so rashly?"
      Then he replied me with very bad words in hindi language and he was drunken
      I didnt liked his behavior and response towards public as well!
      And when i checked his car number in ts e-challan i found he also had fines on rash driving also
      So i request you to punish him such that he wont repeat it again
      I hope you will take my complaint seriously and i want to know your reaction on my complain.

        On 8.10.18 i traveled in uber in pooling amt shown was 99 but end of the journey it changed to 204.So i paid 204 as driver said that I have to talk to uber customer care for refund.
        I am using uber cab regularly and I use the same route to travel from office to home.as it was in pooling cab driver has to pick other passenger and there was a toll if which I was not aware and driver opted route of its own I did not recommend any diversion in route. The co passenger who was picked later was not charged any toll though it was her pickup near to that instead uber charged toll in my bill. This disappointed me. Very bitter experience with uber. I asked driver about this he said that he is not responsible for this. So pls do the needful and refund the excess amount...I will not recommend anyone to use uber as from now inwards even am not going to use it ever.

        I thank the forum for helping me in getting my refund back on ride of 08th october but to your kind attention as I booked the another can through ola they again charged me additional 56 Rs. As toll or surcharge. Initially trip show rs 99 ride in pooling but on dropping point bill reflected in cab app and mine app was 156. They are doing nothing just making fool of the people.

          Confirmed a booking on uber and the driver denied to pick up. He didn't want to cancel the trip in his and asked me to cancel where uber is charging rs. 42 or some amount of cancellation. What kind o[censored]tter nonsense service is this? Horrible nonsense and crap. Driver was very rude and used abusive language. This kind of behaviour of the driver and uber doesn't having a complaint channel appropriately is unacceptable

            I had an bad experience with uber from last 2-3 months. Uber had deducted from paytm also and my driver also charged a sum of rs.200. I want a refund of rs.200 plus rs.30 which was charged in addition to what was shown at the time of booking. The driver was also misbehaving with my mother at the time of collection of money. I want justice for the same.

              Hi team,

              My name is rohit aggarwal and my contacts no-[protected], using uber facilities since past 1-2 years, and i feel am also a valuable customer for uber, i want to bring your attention on some major issue,

              Recently one of my family member admitted in (Chacha nehru-geeta colony) hospital and it was difficult to me to communicate from office location to hospital or my home location to hospital, for this issue i was using uber facilities to communicate form various location to hospital, but if i got 10 rides from via uber apps i had to face many issues for 6 ride and my experience was very worst,

              Most of the time when i booked uber cab and i have to wait for uber cab at my pickup location for 30-45 minutes even every time the wait time was 5-10 minutes and every time my request route to 3-4 driver and most of the driver give the fake commitment that they are coming but after 10-15 minutes they says that they can't come,

              Recently i had to go for hospital from my home location so i booked the cab and i was also searching uber driver nearby my pickup location but didn’t get the cab and i lost some money from my paytm wallet also and when i connected to the driver he was lying that-i was searching to you but i didn’t get you and now i have moved for another booking,

              And one more time i had to come form hospital to my home i booked the cab and driver said to me that you have very different location and i can’t come to that location so i requested to that guy if you are not coming kindly cancel this call so this request will route to another driver but he didn’t cancel that call, i contacted to that guy 16-18 time and for this i had to stay with my family for 30 minutes on the road,

              And also i got one more bad experience with pool cab, i booked cab for my home from geeta colony, i got the cab within 10 minutes my family member sat inside the cab and the cab went for my home but when that cab was about to reach at my home just 1km before driver stopped the cab and said to us i got another booking from gandhi nagar and i have to pickup also that rider we said no issue, but when he crossed complete way of gandhi nagar i asked to that guy now where are going then he agin manipulated us, we have to go in reverse just for 1km and he crossed 5-6km and then he picked up that rider form krishna nagar,

              And the recent experience which i got i stood at shastri park red light and i booked the pool cab for hospital and i got detail about cab and driver, when driver reached at pickup point i was called him and try to took the attention from that guy but he ignored me and he crossed the way without stopping the cab, instantly i dialled his no and ask for the ride he said to me that i he didn’t get my call that’s why i can’t stop the cab for you, i asked to cancel this call then he said you will have to cancel the call by myself, i didn’t cancel that call and after facing lots of trouble i lost agin some amount from my paytm wallet,

              And also i checked that there is no any helpline no for customer but driver has helpline no, if we have any issue where we can connect for our issue every time will i have to write a mail or i can get any easy and convenient option form uber side, kindly check these issue and suggest that if as in my case i am still facing some medical issue with my family member and after paying a genuine amount is it justified to wait or stay on road with family for 30-45,

                I am a senior, and really tired after travel. I am trying to find ways and means to complain how uber has charged me cancellation fee when the drivers cancelled the trip. Not i. I nearly missed my out bound train from dadar because of the negligence on part of the driver and uber company. Please revert back. I have all the mobile and nos that refused to drive me to dadar.

                    I had to pay the uber guy mh02eh2587 on 6/10/18 rs. 132 for my trip. I only had a 500 rs note so paid that. After being dropped at the restaurant i realised i forgot to take back the change. So i called up ravi prasad the driver and asked him to meet me at a common point and give me the remaining 370 rs. He did not agree, clearly lied and hung up. Another proof apart from clearly remembering that he didnt give the change and i didn't ask for it is that it purse was empty and i did not have money at the restaurant. I have had pathetic incidents with uber in the past where driver males me stand for 45 mins and doesn't land up and cancels and i'm still charged for it on my next trip. Every time such rs. 60s have easily added up to a good 500 minimum. And instead of reporting i let it be giving u a last chance. Being a very frequent uber user i am not going to accept such cheating of rs. 370 because of a characterless driver and not only am i going to shift to ola but i demand my money.in fact now i feel i should have never paid for those wrong cancellation charges also. Make sure the change of 370 is transferred back to my account where it's cut through my further trips. U have opened such a big company and u have to way ways to resolve problems like this and stop harassing your regular customers. This is no way. Had it been a small amount i would have still let gone. I want my money back. As soon as possible!!! Call me i[censored] need to talk.

                      I was one of the uber using customer of yours with 5 star rating but the thing happened with me yesterday totally changed my perspective towards you.
                      Yesterday i booked an uber moto the guy took 1 and half hour to reach the pickup point between that time i tried many times to contact the guy but i couldn't and neither he tried to call me if he was not getting the pickup point. He was simply roaming here and there as i can see on gps. After so many attempts to reach him i finally booked an ola and reached my destination and after 1 and half hour your uber guy finally called me and saying that he has reached the pickup point. And then he cancelled the ride. After the cancellation uber charged me 15rs for the cancellation..

                      I mean what you guys think that we are so free to wait for your guy for 1 and half hour that he will reach the pickup point and pick us up.

                      Sorry to say uber but that was not fair from your side. Atleast keep some educated guys for driving a vehicle so that they can atleast know how to read a gps.

                      Very much disappointed from you uber and if you don't believe me you can check my last trip booking time and cancellation time then you will get to know and i have uninstalled your app and started using ola now.

                      Ola is best and thank you. Look into what i have said above.

                        On the 4th of oct i booked an uber pool ride from my home location to mani square mall. Just before reaching the mall, my drop location which was preceding the other was suddenly reversed and i had to go around another 15 mins. This is really not expected from uber and people should know about this. I will definitely get this across to my friends and family through social media so that they do not book pool unless absolutely necessary. Otherwise they have to be prepared to go around the city at the uber company's will.

                          Yesterday, the 4th oct 2018, booked a uber cab at 10.45am from kalyana nagar to infantry road. After confirming the gps showed that the vehicle would arrive in 7 minutes and the vehicle was located at a point. After waiting for 5 to 6 minutes, i found that the vehicle was not moving from the point. Called the driver on no [protected], indicated on my cell phone, to know whether he is interested in coming or not. He did not respond for all the three calls. After waiting for some time, i found the vehicle was at the same point.
                          I cancelled the booking. Surprisingly with in a second of cancellation the driver called me from a different number.
                          This is clandestine way of refusing a booking by a driver, to avoid the cancellation charges.
                          Since, i wasted my time waiting for unwilling driver, the cancellation charges has to be recovered from the driver only. Pl note, i will not pay the cancellation charge, if it is included in the next booking.

                            It is with a lot of frustration that i am writing this complain. This has happened multiple times that i book a cab to noida and the same is accepted by service provider and after sitting in thecab, they ask us to getdown. Today same incident happened. And this has happened back toback. At one we are getting late for office and this kills so much of time. Today i am late to office because o[censored]ber and my salary is deducted. I demand compensation and dismissal of all these drivers. I want strict action against cab driver devender, dl1rta6505, maruti wagon r, contact number [protected].                               I took uber cab on sep 28 from Bangalore city to airport. Total expected fare was ₹540 (which uber claimed to be 640.23) After reaching airport, fare was changed to ₹1049.4. I had to argue with driver on this. Later I paid him and complained to uber . I got response saying fare was 640.23 and balance will be refunded. I received ₹409 as uber credit. So far ok...
                              I took uber again on oct 3 to travel from Bangalore airport to city. Fare shown was ₹ 651.18. Final amount was supposed to be reduced by amount in my uber credits.. however after reaching destination, same did not happen and driver insisted to pay full 651. Since my phone app also shown same 651 only, I paid full amount to driver. I raised it as complaint to uber. I got response as seen in attached image saying since transaction is done outside uber system, same cannot be refunded. I did not agree to this and again further raised it. Now i received a call from call center. Executive on call agreed to the issue. She offered refund of only ₹ 150 instead of ₹ 409 as per uber policy.

                              Uber you have faulty software. Instead of fixing the issue with software, you expect us to accept such partial refunds?
                              I denied to receive partial refund and hence nothing has been credited to my account.

                                My uber eats account has been disabled from using promotions and I don't know why, it just says my account has been flagged but they are not ready to mention why.
                                I never ever violated any of their terms and conditions yet they blocked my account.

                                Kindly reactivate my uber eats account and enable promotions to it or let me know the reason for blocking my account.

                                  Sir, i booked a uber cab no 8929 name of driver ratan at about o1 pm on 04/10/2018 from nixotica restaurants, azara to pragjyoty cinema maligaon, guwahati but after few minutes when i called ratan he informed me that he could not transport us to maligaon and booking was transfered to his colligueue. But the colligue also failed to report me. So i took another vehicle and reached the cinema hall where i lost few parts of the movie due to ratan's mistake. Unfortunately i received a message from uber that i have to pay an outstanding charge of rs. 42 which disgusted me for the ratan's mistake. There fore it is obvious that i should be compensated for my late arrival to the place of my appointment. Hope you will act necessarily. Thanks.

                                    It's hot and the driver on being asked to switch on the ac he refused to switch on the ac and has asked us to get down from his cab before the destination point booked. Please don't travel in this cab guys.. He is rude wild and ita not safe to travel with him... I hate uber and thier drivers.. They are not at all cooperative.. They. Ake ur trip misserable..                                     Uber cabs have the worst driver..they basically act like gundas..and spoil the fun of trip...there is always safety issues..all over trips are Scarry..though you pay for the trip..you are never happy with the service

                                      I have paid the ride amount just after the ride. And still the app shows the same amount as pending. The amount has been deducted from my account. I have seeked help at uber customer care with my transaction details. Yet the response after 5 days was like this"the transaction is not related to succesfull charge. There is no complaint number. Have to wait for a long time to get any response from the app.

                                        Dear sir,
                                        I am mandeep singh registered with mb. No [protected]. I booked a cab on 2/oct/2018 - 3/oct/2018 midnight at isbt sec 43 chandigarh to kharar. I called your 2 drivers but both refused to go by giving exact same excuse i. E lack of cng. And asked me to cancel the ride. You can check the first driver canceled by it's own and second one insists me to cancel the ride. After hearing such a silly and non supportive behavior i canceled the ride and took private cab to reach home at that time. I am male and young i can mange to reach home but if their w'll be a lady or somebody needy at that time what w'll they do. Where they go. I had a belief that i can get a cab easily till that incident not happened to me but now i can't belief on your service. Sorry to say this but it's true. If your drivers don't have cng in their vehicles than what they are doing there. Only just to accept the ride and than refuses to go.
