I am writing to inform you of the completely inappropriate behavior of one of your car drivers. His name is sameer his car no is mh12qg1243.

There was a meeting of mine at 9'o clock. I booked a uber in advance at 12.40 for 3.15 and he was just one minute away from my location. I waited for 1hour 20 minutes and called him multiple times (You can check the phone log) he didn't received my calls and when he received he said that he is getting where to come i was navigating him but he was not moving at all from the place i was checking him on the map but every time i call him he was avoiding my calls he was very rude to me and it was very pathetic service of yours my train is missed due to this.

I want the solution, if i miss my very important meeting because of this. I will lodge a complain towards your company and i will make sure you pay for it, i will take legal action towards this inappropriate service and behaviour of yours.

    Yesterday around 6.23pm i booked a cab via uber, - dlirtb1821, driver started ride with out pick up me. I was a place where autowala dnt go to dwarka location at evening time. I dnt use another app i. E. Ola etc. Even i was unable to book another ride on uber as current ride was in progress. I was feeling helpless & harrashed. When driver finished the ride i booked another ride via uber. When i raised the complaint they refunded the amount, but i was not satisfied from the resolution they have given. I asked them to share what action they have taken against the driver & what they did for my harrashment. I am a well educated professional. Since today morning i am receiving calls & comments from uber that they have taken action against the driver & they will not reveal it. I[censored]ber has taken genuine action what is the problem in revealing the same. Further if someone books rider on app & needs immediate medical help & driver does the same as happened with me, in between any happening happens who shall be responsible. My question is in public interest.

    No proper response from uber india. They people replied that they have taken action against the driver. on asking what action they have taken, they denied to share. When I asked about my harassment, no proper excuse from their end..

      I tried booking a cab using uber app. The cab didn't get booked and amount has been deducted by uber of approximately rs. 300. When i tried to track, it says amount is onhold by uber and will be refunded next day. I want to know how is uber eligible to take and keep user's amount on hold.in this way, i will keep adding all my amount and uber will take all for hold for earn money from illegitimate source. When service was not given how are they eligible to cut my money.
      Please help.

        I booked a trip from btm layout, bangalore to Chimney hills at Saturday 8th September, 13:18.. The shortest distance is around 30 kms.

        While booking it showed me price of rs 483. But app asked me to add amount in my PAYTM as mode of payment was PAYTM. once i added and booked then it was booked for Rs 776.

        Now the driver ChandraShekhar Reddy was untrained and unnecessarily took Nice Road which has tolls. He asked me to pay tolls and after short argument i paid the toll twice. Once rs 30 at entry point as he was not aware what will be the exit. and at exit 110 as that was the longest stretch taken by him.

        And when my tripped ended i was charged Rs 828.
        Now the real harassment begins, I complained multiple times and my complained was denied as the mode of payment was outside uber payment sys.

        And after lot of arguments and insult from uber representatives i received Rs 52 as a waved amount which is difference of[protected].

        Now my question are
        1. where is my Cash 140 rs paid at toll, i[censored]ber is not accountable then who will be?
        2. why i should pay for toll which is rs 140 included in bill by user as it was drivers mistake to take longer route and wasting my time and money.
        3. What Should I have done once driver refused to pay Toll?????????? This is very common with Uber drivers.
        4. I booked Ola as return cab and i was charged 460 and that too it was around 11 pm inn night.
        And for this particular ride I have paid 828 + 140 - 52 = rs 916.
        So someone needs to verify the reason for such a difference.
        To be mentioned there was no festival, no rain and not even office time so there was no reason for surcharge.
        5. And the representatives think they are the bad-###, and they forget that they are representing a company and after telling them this also they didn't realize a customers value. So I went ahead with complaint. So is there any training provided to UBER representatives accept to copy paste the forwarded answers?
        6. Who will compensate for lost hours on travel day and after wards?

        I have all the bills. attaching all here including Ola bill.

        Very anguish and let down by Uber.

          To day i have booked uber cab mr. T. Krishnamurthy was the allotted driver. As my brother and his wife has to catch train from egmore i booked the single cab
          Driver confirmed that in 3 minutes he will come. Cab did not turn up till 3.12 pm and no response even if i call in the phone.. Hence i sent them by auto.

            This is khwab nayak from ahmedabad gujarat india
            On 10/09/18 night, my car was hit by the uber driver named harish bulani who was driving hyundai xcent with registration no. Gj01ft6234
            His driving license no. Is gj[protected]
            His car chassis no. Is mala741cljm313971
            He was running at high speed and could not apply breaks properly. Due to which he his back side of my car and broke my car's bumper.
            When i asked him to take his car to road side so that we can settle the issue and other people do not suffer due to our accident, he tried to escape and run away. He also argued in very abrupt manner rather than accepting his own fault. He did not show any intention to setlle the issue at all.

            In the zest of running away, he almost created a hit and run kind of incident.

            Such drivers should be banned and de-registered by uber so that they dont hamper the safety or common people.

              I ordered an auto and the driver called me and asked me where i wanted to go. I said dlf mall. He said he didn’t want to go there and put down his phone.

              I waited and another driver picked up the order and picked me up. When we reached dlf mall he said i had to pay rs 70:70!

              The fare should not have been more than 50:00, so i asked him why he was overcharging. He said it was because i had to pay penalty for something.

              I paid him the full amount.

              I would like to know why should i pay the penalty when the first driver refused to take me and didn’t even come to my house? It is not my fault. He should have looked up the pick up point and the destination before accepting the trip.

                This is to inform you that few days ago i was returning home with my wife, marathahalli to kundalahalli, bangalore, the cab i booked was same but the driver was not same, which was showing in profile id photo, i double checked it also, the boy who was driving seems underage even, now as my wife was there with me, i haven't scene creat, but as soon as i came home, i complained uber, but after waiting several day they are not taking any action, this is a very serious matter, i do believe. So my request is to inquiry it & take necessary step asap, i attached all the conversation, driver's (Images) are in the below, thanks.

                  I am a very regular customer o[censored]ber, travelling every morning and evening between my home and office. As usual, i booked my cab from office to home on 25th of july 2018 at 8:31 pm. I boarded the cab and there was another pick up from wipro circle which is hardly a kilometre away from my office. We picked up the lady and the driver asked the other lady about her drop, then he suddenly announces that both of your trips are cancelled. Since my ride was already started, i was deducted with an amount that too more than what i was shown for my entire trip of 8kms. I was charged with a fine for my trip ending at a distance of 1km from my pick up. There was no intervention of mine. The other lady automatically got connected with another driver since her trip wasn't started. Here, there is a chance that the driver might have stopped my trip and then cancelled her's or there might be a service malfunction. But charging me with a fine of 64 rupees is ridiculous for the distance of 1km which i could have easily walked. On reaching the uber customer support, they refunded my half amount. Why did they even refund my half amount without discussing the entire issue with me. I was the one who was troubled at 9pm in the night, all alone trying to search for another cab with low battery in phone. Then i had to book another cab which was of the same price as that from my office. The uber customer support is not at all efficient, not at all customer friendly and is least bothered about customer's safety. I was the one who suffered, i was the one who had to stay out for so long, i was the one who was charged with fine without any of my intervention for their service malfunction and when i asked for full refund of my money, they apologised and this is the reply i got.
                  "i understand why you want to make sure this is handled properly, i'd feel the same way. While i can’t get into specifics due to our privacy policy, i assure you that we take issues like this very seriously and appropriate action has been taken.

                  This kind of behavior is not tolerated. We have a certain set of quality and safety standards that we expect all of our driver partners to meet."

                  But alas, i didn't get the solution i wanted, and sympathy and empathy wouln't cover up the discomfort caused.

                    There are couple of incidents that we would like to share with you all.
                    Uber from past few months has lost its charm to connect with customers.
                    People who earn basic salary use pool thinking it will cost them less as compared to calling for a private car.
                    However, its sad to see that when the car is in high demand the fare becomes equivalent to that of an ubergo. When it comes to uber drivers we have to always make a call to them to reach our pick up point in minimum time. When the driver is not in a mood to ride they will make excuses and won't turn up and will make such a situation that in the end we are forced to cancel the trip. Such a waste of time!
                    Uber autos half of the time they don't want to ride to the destination we put.
                    Be it night or day, most of the drivers want to know which part of the city we want to go as they make there choices whether they want to drop us or not.
                    Infact, there have been incidents when the uber drivers have denied for trips as we were paying them by card or paytm and not cash.
                    You guys need to come up with a solution, if there is heavy rain the fare cant reach so high as our salary don't change according to rain. So why the fare???
                    I hope you guys take this seriously as in today's time everything is word of mouth.
                    Hope to see some good and positive change while dealing on your app.

                      I have been a regular and loyal uber customer. I took a cab this morning at 7:05am in bangalore.

                      I booked the cab the night before and i was quoted a price between 500-700 which was too much but i booked it anyway. I woke up at 5:30am to cancel the booking since i saw a better price in ola. But i also saw a change in price in uber in my booked ride which then showed 300-400. So i continued the booking.

                      I reached my destination and the metre showed rs 803. I was shocked. You cannot cheat someone like that. We are common people and these are not small amounts. Why quote a price at all when they mean nothing?

                      Besides this, i was through to nice road without asking me and forced to pay for the toll tax.

                      I demand a rightful refund of at least 600.

                      I’m very surprised and my loyalty to uber is also lost.

                      05 sept-2018. i did not took the pool cab as it was showing waiting time of 27 mins. there was not option of cancel the ride. when driver called me, i told him to cancel. he did not do that and charged me .
                      From last an hour, we are facing problems with Uber.
                      Automatically drivers changing, no proper response from drivers.
                      If you don't have time and people please close company, very rude and arrogant people

                        By 8.04 pm 9sep2018 i have booked a trip from csi christ church opposite to gh coimbatore to my home at sundarapuram.

                        Driver has not come to the pickup location, he is at wrong location but he has put in status that he has arrived the pickup location. When we try to contact him. He is not getting connected. The driver is not also contacting us. We have waited for 15 mins. Driver didn't get connected and no calls from him. After 20 mins trip got cancelled and saying 36.75 inr to be paid for cancellation charges. Why we need to pay for the mistake of driver?
                        Request you to add this as complaint and remove the payment amount from my app.

                          As the issue which i raised 2 days back for a uber trip dated 6th sep at 12.08 pm. Was unresolved i am writing it here. Hopefully someone other then uber customer support will take it up appropriately.
                          To brief you, i booked a cab for my family 2 days back for airport. The mode of payment was paytm and i got a message from uber that this includes toll charges. During the journey my family was asked to pay some toll tax amount of rs 130/- in cash. He was already informed that the the final amount includes toll tax. However he didn't agree and forced the customer to pay cash else he will not take the cab forward. They had a flight to catch and after long debate we have to pay him. Please help me understand what should a customer do in these cases? Uber doesn't have a 24*7 customer care where we can call and escalate.
                          I was eventually thinking to raise it to the customer care however to my surprise the customer care executives are more arrogant then your drivers. They told me its my mistake as its a non cash trip and i should have done everything else apart from paying the driver that cash amount. I don't care about my 130/- bugs but i seriously would like to know what action will you take with such drivers? This is the same question i asked to your customer care executives but everyone was quite and blamed the customer only. Let me very clear to uber if you guys don't give me a clear response on this don't expect me to leave this matter just like that. I am too surprise for you inaction against such ridiculous drivers. Let me know what would be your future course of action and status of my refund...

                            While returning from mumbai at kolkata airport at i have booked a cab at about 9.30 pm through my mobile app and i was waiting at the kolkata airpot at uber stand.
                            A tata indigo cab was alloted to me (Driver name was daya) and time to reach was showing about 9 min. But suddenly i received a cancellation message at 9.42 pm and an amount of rs 47.25 has been charged for cancellation. Of course after my submission that cancellation was refunded to my account.

                            Again then and there i have booked another cab and a tata bold cab was alloted to me (Driver name was babu sona, mob - [protected]). After waiting for 15 min. I called the driver when he was dropping passenger at departure level. The driver received my call and asked my destination and cancelled the booking at 10.03 pm. Again a cancellation fees of rs 47.25 was levied and after my submission it was refunded.
                            Finally i booed another cab hyundai xcent with sri mohan and borded at 10.22 pm.
                            You will observed that after a long journey i have to wait for a cab from 9.30 pm to 10.22 pm due to callas attitude of this two drivers.
                            If very frequent your drivers shows these type of callas and unlawful attitude then definitely ultimately affect your reputation unless you curved or take any action about this type driver.
                            I hope both the drivers will be cautioned to keep your reputation intact.

                              I took a ride in uber on wednesday 5th september from electronic city to yeshwantpur. Driver took nice road and asked me to pay all tolls. Later when i checked invoice i understood that uber had charged me rs204 extra in invoice as toll charge, luckily i had all toll bills. I immediatly raised issue with uber help team but they are ready to refund only rs 150, despite submitting all neseccary documents. Very unpleasant experience and loss.

                                Today i booked a cab for my personal use then the driver was tracing my location for my pickup. After some time he cant locate my location he moves his car in any other way i call him again and again but he can't pick my phone then after some time he calls me and said that sir i am on your pickup location please come here. But i am watching him he was on preet vihar not on my location and my location is mandawali. After some time i call him again and i asked him where are you he still lies with me and said that sir i am on your location and by this all mishappening happens and your cancellation timings has gone. The driver said me that i am not coming please cancel this ride and book any other cab. I see this mistake 3rd time by the mistake of your drivers. I request you to please refund my cancellation charges rs.42 otherwise i have to take a serious action against you.

                                  While travelling thru chennai in uber cab, we have forced to give extra rate than recommended.
                                  Even today my daughter & her friends facing the same.
                                  Please advise if there is any authority taking care complaints & feedback to the complainer.
                                  Yesterday the actual charge was 36 inr and auto asked for 50 inr.
                                  Is there any roll for chennai police or any authority to go for further steps.

                                      Whenever i request any ride, the message comes that "you have not paid rs 47.25 for tangra ride". The fact was that on that day, after cab booking, the driver kept me waiting for long time resulting the unnecessary delay to reach my destination by booking another cab for which i had to face tremendous harassment. Driver cancelled the trip from his point after keeping me waiting for the ride. The mater has been reported to you through app for several time. Astonishingly, you charge to your customer for misbehavior and wasting your clients' valuable time by your driver which is o[censored]nique nature. I think i should report to consumer forum to get rid of this harassment.

                                        I am writing this to bring out to you the current situation o[censored]ber cabs in Nagpur. The problem with the cab service is that it does not provide proper pick-up service from the Nagpur Railway station due to whatever reasons.The cabs are not allowed access to the Station premises thereby the pick-up location is changed to the nearby State Bank of India branch which is at a good distance from the Railway station.
