On evening of 29th August, 2018, I booked a uber pool. Drop location was PhonePe office, Koramangala. However, driver stopped at HSR/Jakkasandra signal took a U-turn, refused to go to the destination and dropped me there.
On complaining to Uber to, they refused to acknowledge the issue and said that dropped location was indeed the signal where the driver completed the trip.
This was not the first time I have had issues with Uber. I'll bring those issues to attention separately.
If this forum can help even raise this issue in consumer court, I'd do my bit.
Uber is a white collar cheat and fraud IMO and needs to be brought to justice. No wonder their CEO and company had been accused of the same thing in the past and this is seeped in their culture.
Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

The driver however refused to close the windows on dusty part of the trip. Said ac was not working.
At first block, since i was alone and nearing my location i decided to get down the cab as their was lots of construction along with traffic and driver refused to close the windows.
I was surprised to see uber overcharged for this trip despite my explaining the issue to them. What was ironical that they first overcharged and then reduced 25% due to non-ac. With their logic, if there's a terrorist attack or riots on the route and you get down they would first charge you and then merely say sorry but do nothing else. Yet again kalanick's culture of cheating and scam to the fore. Uber is a white collar cheat and fraud imo and needs to be brought to justice.
