Hi,

I have scheduled Uber cab between 3.30 AM to 3.45 AM to travel from my place ( Mayuri Nagar, Miyapur ) to International Air port Hyderabad. I have got a flight at 5.45 AM from Hyd to Mumbai. Cab was booked and it has shown driver will reach by 3.45 to my place. I thought driver would reach by 3.45, i can reach airport by 4.45 and i can catch my flight. in fact i called the driver and told him not to cancel the cab, since it is early in the morning it would be very difficulty for me to get another cab. After 5 mins driver cancelled the cab and different cab was booked again waiting time was 15 mins. Finally i got cab at 4.06 AM, i reached airport by 5.06 AM. Airport team denied to issue boarding pass since i was late. I lost my money and i booked one more flight which was at 8.30 AM in the morning, it costed me approx Rs 4000/-. When i tried reaching Uber customer care asking for compensation they said they have taken the action against the driver. Taking an action against driver - How it will help me? Finally i lost my Rs 4000/-.

I need your support in getting my money, this was absolutely Uber's service issue. If they dont have cabs available they should inform the customer priorly, so that can find an alternate way.

    This email is regarding uber app. I am using uber since last month. Because of some technical glitch i had to login again to the uber app in my mobile. But at the time of login i forgot my password hence i tried to reset the password. I entered my mobile number to reset the account. Uber is saying that this account can't be verifiry. How is it possible also my email id is not registered with uber hence i am not able to reset the password using the link. Kindly help me to get this issue resolved asap.

    I added INR 2000 to Uber Paytm wallet on 8th September. I had a trip to Bangalore airport which costed approximately INR750. When I checked the wallet later on it just showed a balance of INR0.98 . I tried to contact Uber help but they stopped responding after two messages. I want to know where is my balance money and where Uber utilizes it

      Trip cancelled and charged with cancellation fee even after my trip took place and i paid the driver and many times i try to contact niet by way of complaint in mobile app, someone from under answer that charges will layoff but in the next trip they charged me rs.47.44 now their version is changed. This is clearly showing the fraud done by unde. My number is [protected]. Trip date 22nd september 2018.

        I am uber partner and driving with uber for more than a year. Uber never help their partner for the trip in which customer refuse to pay, says showing less amount in my mobile or at the time of booking, sometime leave cabs with some reason and not come back. Also i have face a issue while startinh trip from t3 airport in delhi.in my mobile app trip shows started and google maps showing me the navigation route to the customer destination. After starting the trip, after approx 10 to 15 mints, customer said that trip is not showing started in his mobile. And when i close google map and showing uber app to the customer, suddenly it shows started in customer's mobile app when i already crossed 8 km.in total of 36 km trip, after ending the trip uber shows 28 km for the entire trip and calculted for the same. Also uber didn't pay me for the airport fee of rs.150 against that trip. I complained several time but everytime uber customer care guys and senior executive says that we cant do anything and there is no policy to get complaint from you for this or not possible for fare adjustment. Because of system error i have lost the fare for 8 km and additional 150 ruppees of airport pickup fee, all this because of very poor policy o[censored]ber to only earn from indians, because indians have no rights to log case against these big companies. And if we have some rights then they have some big contacts to win over us with money. I suggest everyone not to drive with uber and dont book uber as they are doing wrong with the drivers, definately they will do wrong with customers too in the future.           I had boarded uber cab from phase-2 to sector 44chandigarh (The british public school) on 21sept 2018. The driver name is amandeep singh. The owner of the car is gurpreet singh. The cab number is:pb65 ak2682. (Maruti alto k10). I left the cab and returned immediately when i realised that my iphone was missing. I had dropped it in the cab fior sure. On returning back i found that the cab driver had left. I went to ur uber office in phase -1 industrial area chd. But noone helped us. I also lodged the complaint that on your app that my iphone is lost in your cab. But did not got reply from your side as promised. If i do not got any support from your side... I am going to launch an fir against the driver and your company"uber". I need strict action from your side. For any assistance from my side pls call [protected].

            Booked uber cab for iffco chowk gurgaon from nizamuddin station by uber app. Fare shows around rs. 345/-. Called driver on his cell on [protected]. He came and ask where u will go.. I say iffco chowk.. They he say you will have to pay 525/- because 345/- is very less. They he argued with me in very bad manner and went. Also, not cancelled my journey. I called him again to cancel my trip then he disconnected my phone. After 2 min again i tried to book then it showed that you have to pay additional rs. 42/-. Nothing wrong from my side.. Totally disappointed with uber.. Such type of guys should never work with uber. Also, tried to contact customer care but failed. No any help line number is available for customer complaint. After times spent on google, i found a number & called customer care representative but she said that this no is only for driver also she has not provided any other no after repeated request. Pls help as soon as possible.

            I am Neeraj Singhal. My contact no. is [protected]. I booked a cab on 30/09/2018 to go to Gurgaon. Driver contact no. is [protected] at 11.44 hrs. He refused to go stating some border tax issue with him. Then booked another cab with driver contact no. [protected] at 11.46 hrs and he also stated the same reason mentioned above. Now I felt helpless and booked another cab & by luck he agreed to go to GGN. During my travel I got a call from[protected] at 12.01 hrs and he started shouted on me saying why booked another cab. I have not booked his cab as well .Might be some 1st or 2nd cab driver forwarded him my contact no.
            Now you are showing Rs. 40/- to be paid by me as penalty. I request you to waive-off this amount from my kitty and charge from the erring ruthless drivers who refused.
            Plz act on my request. I have narrated the whole drama to YOU.

              I had booked a cab on 21st sept friday at 6.00 am to go to the airport in bangalore. My driver arrived right on time and drove me to the airport and collected the fee of 900 rupees. I see a notification in exactly 20 mins of my driver having cancelled the trip and me being charged of 45 rupees as cancellation fee. I have complained on the app as well but they seem to be giving no replies. I am a college student and paying 45 rupees extra for trips is a big deal for me. I am going to wait for another 24 hours for someone to get back and then probably resort to a next level of severity for action against uber for the same

                I booked a uber ride around 18:40 hrs this evening. I contacted the driver thrice. Every time he said that he was coming. But all of a sudden, he cancelled the trip. It is surprising that when i again wanted to book a ride, uber asked me to pay rs. 47.25 as the cancellation charge. But the driver cancelled the ride at his own will, but i have to pay the cancellation fee without any fault on my side.

                Kindly look to the situation and so that i don't have to pay the outstanding fee.

                  I think you are treating as a foolish customer .Even I think you are not reviewing the fare and dropping auto generated mails.

                  I can give you reference of my trip where the trip was longer and charged even less half of this trip.

                  1. Trip taken on 15th Sept 2018- from Viman Nagar to Rahatani, Trip distance 20.13 KM and charged Rs 286.24
                  2. Trip Taken on 15th Sept 2018 - from Gokhale nagar to wakad, Trip distnace 17.74 KM and charged Rs. 232.18
                  3. Trip Taken on 7th Sept 2018 - from wakad to lohgaon, trip distance 29.3 KM and charged Rs. 436.09

                  Now the ride I am talking about is taken on 21 sept 2018- from wakad to Sangamwadi, Trip distance 15.03 KM and charged Rs. 533.56.
                  Still you will say that I am charged correctly for this trip. ? Can I get detail Justification for that.If you cant do that then can you please let me know how can I escalate this to higher level.
                  If I can get call from your side as there is no other way to make you understand.

                    Thanks for your instant reply but please read mail carefully and decide:

                    1 I booked uber pool for Rs 99 from indiarpuram Ghaizabad to Shalimar garden.Ghaziabad

                    2 after that some one also join from Indirapuram to Vivek Vihar Delhi.

                    3. Driver needs to drop Shalimar Garden GZB ist and then go to Vivek Vihar (Delhi)

                    4 I also asked for driver but he told me that I will go as per GPS and according to GPS ist drop is Vivek Vihar

                    5 Due to Pool I can not forced him to drop me ist and then drop to other customer.

                    6 Because of that it took more than 1 hour inlieu of half an hour distance ?

                    7 Please let me know what is my fault, I had paid Rs 105 extra to the driver without arguing, but just inform that My charges should not be greater than 99/-

                    8. I had also lost my half an hour due to this.

                    9 when I booked uber pool Uber go also for rs 150/- then why I choose uber pool for 204/-

                      My friend has booked the cab swift ka 02 af 9640 and forgot the phone in a cab. Within few minutes we tried to call the cab driver and he lied that there is no phone after 10 to 15 times of phone call he agreed that there is a phone and he demanded 3000 rupees to return the phone. I went myself to his location to collect the phone but still, he demanded 2000 rupees. When i was taking he started the car and he left, again i catch him at a different location and paid 1000 rupees and collected the phone.

I was calling him continuously but he didn't respond my call and just rejected my call den he cancelled it after 30 or 35 Mins den I order another cab from ola not by uber den uber app searched and choose another ride for me y Dis ### thing happened when I cancelled it still u guys sent another driver and now I have to pay cancellation charges such a bad app and bad response from drivers DL 4467 and u guys should support customer rather den ur stupid and irresponsible drivers

                          Please note on 7 july 2018 time-19.27hrs i took a trip from prarthana samaj road, vile parle east, mumbai to chembur gaothan, chembur east mumbai.

                          Receipt shown as below:

                          Trip fare-inr 219.00
                          Sub total-inr 219.00
                          Uber credits-inr 47.25
                          Total payable-inr 171.75
                          Cash to be paid reflected on uber app-inr 219 instead of inr 171.75
                          Cash i paid to the driver-inr 219

                          Considering the above, please note uber credits received amounting to inr 47.25 have not been adjusted in this particular trip and driver collected said amount from me in cash.

                          Please look into the matter immediately and help..

                          Today i was in hurry and i booked a pool ride.
                          As i was boarding in the car the driver said i going to cancel your trip because u have bag with you.
                          This way i reached late at bus stand.

                            Dear Sir/ Madam,

                            Uber credit received from Uber India amounting to INR 47.25 for a cancelled trip from Sudarshan Bldg, Ghatkopar West to Prarthana Samaj road, Vile Parle East as driver and I could not connect. Drivers cell phone was switched off and also waiting time was 13 mins.

                            Uber credits are not getting applied on upcoming trip for payment in cash and Uber App is asking me to pay the amount of INR 47.25 in cash again to the driver o[censored]pcoming trip.

                            Surprised to know, why do I have to pay the Uber credit amount again in the upcoming trip when the same is already credited to my account?

                            Please help to resolve this matter asap..Seems Uber is trying to earn through Cancellation fees already credited.

                              On sept 5th, 2018 (7.15 pm), i called a ubercab and got connected to a cab driver (Maruti suzuki swift dzire-kl67a2199). He refused to come saying that he will not get a return trip from my destination and it will not be profitable for him. He asked me to cancel and call again. I cancelled and called, but again i got connected to the same person. He again told me to cancel; i told him i will not cancel because i had already been asked to pay the cancellation charges and also i had to get back home. He then flatly refused to drive me to my destination and didn't turn up. I had to pay the cancellation fee of rs 40 along with the charges for my next trip. Please refund this amount as the cancellation was done as per the driver's request.

                                I had a very bad incident on 13 sept 2018. I hired uber taxi (Plate no: ka 33 9876) from banashankari to sea group of institutions and the total distace was around 26 kms. While boarding, the driver confirmed the dropping point and even told me that it is showing 26 kms and i replied him that it is correct. Once the journey reached koramangala, car suddenly stopped and driver told me that diesel got finished and told that there is no petrol station nearby. And he forced me to change the destination location. It clearly shows the negligence of the driver as he was clearly aware that the journey was bit longer and it is his duty to make sure that enough fuel is available in the vehicle to complete the journey. Myself and my wife struggled a lot to get another taxi from there as it was raining and finally i have to hire an auto for double the amount which was shown for taxi.

                                  I had booked an Uber ride last night from Airport to Residence. The driver 1st demanded cash payment and forcefully made me cancel the existing ride and re-book with cash option saying he needs money to fill fuel (which he didn't do ultimately). I agreed since it was aleardy late night.
                                  Following are the sequence of events -

                                  1. As soon as we started from the airport, the driver enquired about the amount shown on the app and cancelled the trip, asking me to pay the same amount. On inquiry, he bluffed that there was no data on his mobile and insisted on making payment as seen earlier.

                                  2. He avoided the toll road from the airport and took me through some other road to gain more money.

                                  3. He then made an act of calling some random Uber guy (apparently somebody incharge) to state that the trip got cancelled due to data issue and asked them to arrange for the bill at the end of the trip.

                                  4. When we reached our destination, I paid him Rs. 800 and got down. He started shouting saying he needs the full amount since it was no fault of his. He also said that he would arrange for Uber to send me the invoice for payment. My argument was that -
                                  (a) There was no parking charge in airport since cabs were directly coming to the pick up point due to heavy demand in rains.
                                  (b) Driver avoided the toll and took an alternate route to pocket the money.
                                  (c) He cancelled the trip and hence the Uber commission part was also waived off.
                                  (d) As per the invoice I had received, the amount due was Rs. 0.
                                  (e) Generally, the amount for the distance from airport is around Rs. 600 and since he dropped me at that time of the day, I paid him Rs. 800.
                                  (f) When Uber doesn't have details of my final destination and the route taken, there is no means of me receiving an invoice from them. In case, my miracle, I actually received an invoice, I informed him that I would pay the balance to Uber and he can collect his due from the company.

                                  5. He was totally unsatisfied and started shouting at the middle of the night. I finally had to shout back and force my security person to shut the gate on him.

                                  I would request Uber to look into the matter since this has become a common behavior from drivers. I have been asked by Ola/Uber drivers several times to pay the amount as per the app, saying they will cancel the ride since the company takes too much commission and they will end up getting less money. I generally refuse but this time the driver got another means of cancelling after moving out of the airport parking area.

                                  This kind of means are unacceptable I would demand Uber to give me a full refund of my payment for the irresponsibility of the driver. This is also a promise that I shall never use Uber cab again since this is not the first issue I have faced with Uber drivers. FYI, I haven't even received the mail regarding the trip and waseen unable to get it re-sent through the site.

                                  The driver was extremely rude and behaved really badly. He unnecessarily talked nuisance and used harsh words. He was extremely irritated and unprofessional. He was one of the most disgusting drivers I have ever met. Its not expected o[censored]ber.Pleasea note.

                                    We booked one cab and the driver stop the car before the drop point and he said the road is block i said another way is there only 50mr more bcoz i don't have footwear to walk but he deniyd that and the driver told he will take us to their local place with that girl and he will beat us and after 500m he stop on the car on high way he opened back left side door and tryd to touch girl then we make noice and again he beat my friend and after 2 km he stop the car on an highway and in local language he is telling we book the cab and we not paying money and the driver started to beat us then my friend beat him back this is wat happened for me today in uber car

                                      Driver Ranjeet misbehaved with female occupants and pulled her from her arm and snatched her cell phone
                                      What ever be reason this type of behavior was not expected from UBER Drivers

                                      Issue was that wrongly destination got entered as L block instead of EL Block in Hari Nagar.
                                      Driver Ranjeet stopped the car at L block and refused to move further for EL block which is hardly 500 mtrs away when requested.
                                      On this issue argument started and driver Ranjeet misbehaved with my sister who was accompanied my mother for a relative visit
                                      Need appropriate action and regular update till closure of this report, else we will have no choice but to lodge police complaint

                                        Respected authorities, my name is balwinder singh and house number 415 sector 19 panchkula. I bought xcent cng +petrol new car on 10th of august only for uber service.

                                        Its been more then a month i have visited them so many times and no one attended me properly.. They behaved very badly + till now my car is not attached with uber services.

                                        I am paying emi of 10600 monthly and registered it as commercial number and no services provided by uber.

                                        So you are requested to retain my request and do the needful asap..
