#uberindia booked an uber from mahim to byculla after waiting for more than 15 min the driver calls me n tells me to cancel the trip as he will not come to pick me up i told him since u r not coming u cancel the trip from ur end at that he started yelling and abusing me n sd do what u want i will not cancel the trip n kept the call i called him back again he did not answer again n again i got feed up n cancelled the trip n was charged a cancellation charge of 48 'rs after that he picks up the call n again starts yelling at me n abusing me is this the type of service we need from these guys how is. A women driver supposed to feel safe if we have horrible drivers like these n what is uber doing about them nothing when u complaint to uber they keep saying we will hope u have a better experience next time r we ready for these people to make fun o[censored]s n treat us like this we need some action against these people

    I am uber app user on my android device ([protected], name - vinit sankhe)

    Today uber applied a cancellation fee of rs. 86.54 to me and cut that money from my paytm account.

    But the trip was incorrect. I was home and was not even picked up by the driver and the trip was showing it was already ongoing to my destination. I could see it was saying "you are on your way!".

    I tried contacting the driver but his phone was not reachable so i cancelled the trip.

    It's clearly the fault of the driver or their app's. I was not in the cab.

    Uber applied cancellation fee to me and they are not reverting it back even after i raised my complaint!

    See attached screenshots.

    This has happened twice! Earlier they had reverted the incorrect fee. Today they aren't.

    1.My Vehicle No. TN05BJ6921 Xylo, Owner syed Habeeb Badsha is registered in your Ola cabs with out my Clarification and permission .

    2. Any Driver Comes with my RC Xerox, your Ola Support will Registered my Vehicle with our Vehicle Owner Permission..

      Hi,
      I'm having a hard time trying to convey 2 simple things to uber support — how to take screen print of my phone nbr (Lumia) & getting them to recognize / accept the screen print i've taken.
      Agreed, i should have simply googled it instead of wasting my time.. Lesson learnt.
      R the cust support ppl so dumb that they can't understand simple questions? Has any1 else faced a similar problem?

        Uber india — uber complain about cancellation fee

        I am a regular customer o[censored]ber but that day totally frustrated with uber. On 30th june 2018 evening i have booked uber taxi the driver accepted the trip and after 10 minutes he reached the pickup point and told i am not going, he canceled it. But uber charged 42 rupees from my account which i have not paid. I am not ready to pay the cancellation fee as i didn't cancel the trip. But after that whenever i start using uber one message is coming saying that you have 42 rupees balance to pay and you have to pay it with this trip. This is driver (Sunil, accent 0247) mistake, why i pay for it. This is a type of cheating which i never expected from uber a prestigious brand of the world. Should i continue with uber please let me know and request you to settle down the matter...

          Yesterday night we took uber ride. The distance traveled was 3km for which according to the uber app on my phone showed Rs 77 but the driver asked me to pay Rs769 in cash according to his app. Since, in the past even after making a paytm payment uber driver asked me to pay more in cash and asked me to sort it with uber if getting over charged. After making the payment I reached out to uber where uber denied refunding the payment and mentioned that it was my fault that I paid extra to the driver and that they can't do anything about it. Hence, I denied making the payment this time which was 10times more than the actual bill. I insisted the driver to sort this with uber helpline as I had no outstanding balance and no outstanding payments for any of my past rides. After sometime he became impatient and started misbehaving with us. He wasted 3:30mints of our time, pushed my friend and also shouted at my female friends and asked them to leave while he gathered more drivers to support him. Due to his behavior we had to call cops and later had to go to police station. This incident started at 22:20hrs.This vehicle didn't even have the number plate at the back. The police asked us to file a complain against him for his behavior, however as we understand while his behavior is not acceptable it is a miss from uber where such errors are made and leads to so much of chaos. Uber is not bothered about its customer. The police man spoke to uber helpline for the driver as there was no customer service available for the customer after the ride ends. He was told that we can pay it to the driver and uber will sort it for us once we lodge a complaint with them. It is so unsafe for a lady to travel at night via uber where the customer is treated miserably and also collect money from them fraudulently. We paid the driver by cash and also let the driver go, showing humanity despite his unruly behavior. Once we reached home we raised a complaint on uber app to which we got a call the next day by so called investigation specialist who apologized and mentioned that she would refund the money for this incident as well as the previous one and will take action on the driver's behavior. Since, she mentioned that the entire refund will be in uber wallet I asked to get it refunded to my bank account or PAYTM as I am scared o[censored]sing uber services and may not be able to use the wallet amount to which she said she will callback in sometime which never happened. Later to my complaint on the app I received a message stating a payment of a ride that was taken by me in the month of October last year did not go through and that they have adjusted in the current bill. Even though I had taken 10 rides since October last year. Nor does the outstanding amount reflect in my app. Also, they again mentioned that other ride for which the driver charged us more that can't be refunded since it was my fault that I paid the driver. After all the stress, embarrassment, harassment and wastage of our time, that we went through uber denied helping us nor refunded our money. THIS IS NEW APPROACH AND NEW WAY UBER HAS COME UP WHERE THEY BILL YOU FOR SERVICE THAT YOU NEVER TOOK AND Send UNPROFESSIONAL DRIVERS WHO MISBEHAVE AND DOESN'T LEAVE YOU UNTIL HE COLLECTS THE MONEY INCASH WHICH LATER NEVER GETS REFUNDED. THIS IS GOOD WAY OF CHEATING AND ROBBING A CUSTOMER.

            It was really unfortunate experience with uber. I had done booking with uber on 24th june-2018 with payment option as paytm.. After trip driver taken cash inr 610 but uber invoice is inr 521. Later i checked i found inr 463 was cut from paytm.

            Therefore for one trip charges has taken twice and now there is no response from uber.

            Now i can understand why there are many such cases happens with uber as they don't have control over their derivers and services

              I was "charged twice" for one of my trips. It was not allowing me to book the uber before making the payment again for the trip i had already paid once.

              Could you please take a look into it and "refund the amount" of one transaction as soon as possible?

                  This is regarding trip which i traveled on 23/06/2018 10:17 am. The driver asked me to pay toll free rs55.00 and i paid. When i get down, he asked me to pay again pay the total amount rs 424.00. I told him clearly as per uber policy, if you are passing any toll gate/parking it automatically added into the bill. He told me uber has changed the policy you need to pay full amount. What shall i do there, i was with my family. I have paid rs 480.00 instead of rs 424.00. I would like to get a refund of rs 55.00 as i have paid extra as toll free. Please take the action against driver do not do the mistake again to cheat the customer.

                    I was over charged on my tripi. I. E. On[protected] it was a cash trip driver was not showing me the fare i asked to pay 111inr but i got receipt of 31.50. It is cheating this is not first time i am facing this and again on[protected] driver took wrong route into no entry and then forgot to take must u-turn for my drop location after suggesting also but took long route and again i was overcharged. This is not first time but now i don't want to let it go.

                      Driver name mohamed nissan sunmy plate no 4434 (Not sure)

                      We had booked half an hour back from mylapore hindu fund office to prapancha thorapakkam, chennai. Driver could not locate us in spite of giving him full guidance of our location with several phone calls.
                      Ultimately he dropped out as well as uber dropped ou and charged us rs 30/- cancellation charge without we cancelling the ride
                      Hence request you to waive the cancellation charges and take adequate action against the driver

                      We had booked a ubergo 45 minutes back. The driver was mohamed nissan sunny 4534 did not reach us and cancellation charges was sent to us for no fault o[censored]s.

                      We were in regular contact with him guiding gim to us.in spite of this, driver did not reach us making us wait in rhe hot sun for him.

                      Suddenly we see him log out of our ride although we did not cancel and uber charged us cancellation of rs 30/- for no fault of ours

                      Highly disappointed

                      We are regular customets o[censored]ber and disappointed with this action o[censored]ber.

                        When i want to cancel the trip it says that i will be charged for cancellation, even if i try cancelling immediately after booking. It eventually takes 20 to 25 minutes for the cab to reach me.
                        Can you please look into the matter?

When i called to driver, driver asked me where you need to go, on that time his voice not coming well, so i told him your voice is not coming well, come at my location quick. suddenly he told me if voice is not coming so i am also coming. Than i asked why so just come here quick. he started abusing on me.
                            I am not thinking it's good way to talk any customer, Driver name was SARJEET

                            Uber is ### service about UBER's DRIVERS. They always uneducated, unprofessional.

                              On June 25, 2018, I (Uber ID is Veera S) had booked a premier intercity trip to Sri City, Andhra pradesh from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. S. The trip was accepted by Uber driver Mr. Kaja Moideen at 11:31 AM. However after arriving at the gate he asked for details and was hesitant. He reluctantly drove about 500 meters and then he said he does not have original documents required at the Andrapradesh checkpoint and has Xerox copies only. He spoke to the "owner" who was out of town and original documents cannot be obtained and so had to cancel the trip. He dropped back at my house and driver CANCELLED the trip. Subsequently, I was back in the Uber que and few other drivers accepted and cancelled as well but without charges.

                              Afterwards I noticed that my credit card was charged Rs1050 for the trip charged as "Minimum Charges" which is wrong as the trip was cancelled by the Uber Driver.

                              In summary,
                              1) If the driver CANCELLED the trip because he does not have the original documents and Service was not provided, why am I being charged Rs 1050?
                              2) I have reported this immediately and many times afterwards through the app as well but I have not received any response or refund.
                              3) No other escalation or Customer Complaint Mechanism: There is no telephone number or email ID for Customer Complaints for Uber India.

                              I ask for a refund and apology

                                I had booked an uber pool in the name of ashish at 8:29 am on 29th june from the close south nirvana country gurgaon to dda flats kalkaji. When i called the driver to find out where he was, he asked me where do i want to go. When i mentioned kalkaji he told me to cancel the booking and rudely said that he will not come. Hi s name was vipin and it was a maruti car.

                                I had to book another cab, but 377 rs. Got deducted from my credit card along with the cancellation fee of rs. 42.

                                Kindly refund my money.

                                I had booked a cab on 25th june from the close south nirvana country to new delhi railway station paharganj at 6:17 am in the name of ashish. It was a maruti suzuki swift dzire and the drivers name was sabir. On reaching the station he took 440 rupees from me and money was deducted later from my credit card also.

                                Kindly look into the matter. It was very disappointing.

                                  The driver cancelled the trip and he could not contact me for the trip.
                                  Since then i am using ola cabs only as while booking uber cabs the pending cancellation charges of rs. 42 is being levied against me without any fault of mine.

                                  If you kindly reverse the cancellation fee then i may use uber cabs too.

                                    I have booked uber taxi on 19th june 2018 from trivandrum central railway station to dpl junction trivandrum,. The driver accepted the trip and after 5 minutes he cancelled it. But uber charged 42 rupees from my account which i have not paid. I am not ready to pay the cancellation fee as i didn't cancel the trip.                                       I was accompanying two patients along with myself from naturoveda health centre park circus to garfa. When i suggested a more efficient route from the one displayed on google maps, the driver stopped the vehicle and threw us out of the car in the middle of darga road (Park circus). I must also point out that one of the patients was a senior citizen. I have already commented on uber support from the app but haven't received any reply, even more surprising is that uber is charging me rs. 64.75 for this "trip". Since uber does not show car details after a trip on their app, i am only able to remember the last 4 digits of the license plate = 5995. Date and time of incident: 28/6/2018 - 12:43pm, screenshots are included...

                                        Hi i'm sanju kumar, i have scheduled uber cab on[protected] at 22:15, the driver had sent his details at 22:15, when i called him, he told he dropping one customer and needs 20 mins, i said ok, he came 30 mins late at pick up point, and when i'm approaching the cab, i received a message saying my booking cancelled, then he requested me to book ola, he told as he can take booking from uber for next 20 mins, he also told me that the cancellation charge from uber will not be charged to me. As i had to catch flight so booked ola. Later i received a message from uber to pay rs.157, as cancellation charge.
