Yesterday i had booked a uber trip and asked the driver to stop enroute (Without any diversion) for few minutes (Less than 5 minutes). The driver refused to stop saying that they are not allowed to stop and continued driving. I asked what happens in cases of emergency and his reply even then the driver is not permitted to stop.

This is preposterous. I need uber's official confirmation on this to take this matter to the concerned authorities for safety and security of passengers.

I dont know how will i get a reply to this as it does not ask for any of my details.

    For your kind information, the following points may please be noted and actions may be taken from your end.

    1) more that 5 times, i paid an extra amount of rs30, the message comes to the driver as balance of the last ride or so.

    2) from your side, many times, cab gets cancelled and you are charging extra (Rs 30) from the customer on the subsequent ride

    3) the cab don't reach the customers destination in time and as a result you are forcefully taking extra of rs30 from the customer even if the driver cancels the trip, you are charging from the customer extra

    4) today i booked an auto from new boag road (Chennai) to dr nair street, i waited for the auto but did not turn up and after few minutes, from your side the message came to give the feedback of the driver. Without even using the service, you are asking for feedback.

    Finally, you can check in your system my details and repay the full amount you have charged extra. If not solutions are being made out, im going to file a complaint against uber and also where ever i can including ola, i will give the experience i got with your service

      I booked uber cab pb01 b 7147 maruti celerio.. driver name suneel.. i booked cab at 22 b.. i kept waiting for him.. firstly he didn't know any address though he had correct address as set by me.. he took 20 min to reach near my place then he picked up another person and didn't pick my cal and i was charged for no reason..
      i donot want refund i want that he or such drivers should be treated in a way that they will not do such kind of thing again..
      we are not fools to wait fir so long and that too at night.

      this driver should be barred from his services so that any other person is not suffered.. such an unprofessionalism..

        - 14th june 2018
        - scheduled a trip to cantonment railway station between 12.30 to 12.45 and driver got scheduled at 12.30 only.
        - that guy picks up the call and does not utter a word or talks, made more than 10 calls from different mobiles
        - he did not come till 12.50 and then had to cancel the drive and uber is charging me for cancelling

        This is the reason the drivers are not coming for the pickup. Very very poor management.

        Not able to get the car number since the drive was cancelled.

          From past few times i have observed that uber is not following government rules. As they show all the prices upfront but they add extra payment after completing the trip and give a humiliating response when i contacted them. Non of their email is working i cannot call them. They use to add 2x times toll within delhi rides, airport departure rides and then refused they refund it because they are very much confident about indian law functioning and it's loophole. I request you to take strict action against such companies because they follow all the rules in their country but don't follow in india. You have not given any option for attachment to show you that how they are cheating customers. I have two account i have also seen lots a price difference for the same location same time and some times they charge more after purchasing pass as compared to non pass journey. I have contacted them so many times but they are not bothered. Kindly look into this matter seriously because we have voted this government with lots of hope but after years we only got disappointment only and i don't want to upload facts socially because it is going to question government working only because company like uber can only be courageous to do frauds only when they are getting a support from any official.

            I booked uber cab on 10th night first cab got booked spoke to driver and got the confirmation for pickup. After 10 mins driver called and informed that he won't come for pick up as boarding point is very far for him to come. Dover insisted to cancel the trip from my end. I informed about the cancellation charges in uber and asked driver to cancel from his end. Driver agreed and disconnected the call. But instead of cancelling the trip driver started from trip from the place he was there which is ~10 km from boarding point and was travelling towards drop point without picking me up. I noticed and called the driver back but he didn't pickup the call so i cancelled the cab from my end and i have been charged 107.10 for a service not provided to me.

            And there is no response by raising complain thru their app for past 3 days.

            I had complained uber regarding its non acceptance of payment via paytm 9 days back and they are not resolving the issue despite repeated reminders. Uber is showing error when payment method selected as paytm and forces to change the payment option to cash.

              I booked a cab from yamuna vihar delhi to old faridabad guddu kachori bhandar at 13.06.2018 time 00.35 am it was a maruti ritz car rto number starting with hr55. I forgot my mobile in the cab and after 5 minuts it was swithed off by cab driver named suraj was driving this cab on id of sandeep. Now i am helpless. I strongly recommended that don, t use this type of cabs o[censored]ber
              I think ola is much better then uber

                Hi,
                I travel in uber using electonic city flyover (Paid toll). I always use the payment method as "paytm". All these days i was paying the toll fee and i wasn't charged. From past 2 trips i am charged toll fee from my paytm account though i have paid it in cash at toll.

                The driver refuses to pay the toll hence we end up paying the toll for them. But uber deducts the toll again with extra charges (If toll is 45 inr, you charge 47.25inr). When i asked for refund for the very first time refund was given.

                Now again same issue happens and now they are not ready to refund me saying "payment method is different".

                But these instructions should have been given when i raised the issue for the first time.

                  I travelled on 11 june 2018, from t3 to barakhamba road, i booked the trip through my mobile app, i paid 540/- for the ride, i feel some confusion made by driver, he saying his gps not working, i feel he charged more from me, one day before my friend taken uber from t2 to vaishali, and he paid only 480/- up to vaishali, my registerd mob no is [protected], hope you look in to the matter

                    Today, i booked a shared cab and i am waiting for my cab. Then he called me and told me come to another side of the road and i did. When i reach the cab he step down and told me that luggage is not allowed in shared cab. I told him that one luggage is allowed but he denied and told me that dicky is jam and unable to open and forced me to cancel the cab. If this was the situation that must be mentioned in the app before ride so customer will be aware of that and take another. I am not gonna pay extra due.
                    So kindly take this seriously..

                      I have booked a cab on 11th june 2018 at around 6:30 pm from kacheguda hindu cremetary to vanasthalipuram.

                      After a few mins driver named sandeep with phone number [protected]
                      Called me for the address, i told the correct address and after few mins he cancelled my trip for no reason.

                      I was not informed before he cancelled and my account was debited with rs.47

                      When i tried calling he again he picked up the call and immediately switched off.
                      When i tried again and again he picked up and kept me on hold and was not responding wantedly.

                      These kind of actions will make us to lose trust on uber.

                      I will be happy if he apologises me or if you can take action on him.

                      Driver has theft my baggage with documents and mobile lenovo k5 note also on date 03.06.18 while travelling from pune to Mumbai at iti pawai naka.
                      I was quoted 272 for my ride till Khar but after reaching the destination was charged 349.Is this the service provided to customers. Want the refund of the exceeded amount charged.

                        I travel in uber on may 19, 2018 morning from my home in gurugram to nizamuddin railway station. When i booked i was shown 441rs but when i reached the destination at railway station receipt i revised was of 564rs. Attach the screen shots.
                        Similar incident happen to me few days before on may 11, 2018 when i booked my cab it was showing 42 rs but when my trip ended it shows 68rs. Final receipt is attached. Initial receipt i dont have.

                        I have complaint to uber 2 times for each incident as present in the video of the mail chain but they have not taken any action against it.

                        What i understood that since i have not update the pick and drop location driver must have taken a different route to destination.
                        This make me even more suspicious about the drivers and the uber company.

                        Firstly: why driver take a different route to reach the destination. Does he have hidden motive to isolate the passenger to alone area for misbehaves/ threat and with the intention of robbing the passengers.in this case it become a serious issue with the uber technology which does not alert the passenger if the driver is taken an off route.

                        Secondly: if the driver is taken a short route based on his experience to avoid traffic or reduce the distance then why the charges of the trip going up rather then its going down.in this case uber is happy to charge more its customer.

                        Lastly i have suspicious that uber asked his driver to change the routes so the customer are charged more on their trip since the price changes is not confirmed during the trip and customer end up paying more and fighting with the driver and uber earn more while providing such ultra bad experience to its customer.

                        Resolution requested : i have repeatedly asked the uber to resolve the issue and refund my extra money collected by them, which they have turn down.
                        I request consumer court to pass the judgement in which uber should provide me compensation for my trips, along with the compensation for mental stress that they have caused to me. I also request the court to fine the uber with serious warning so that this does not happen with other customers.
                        I also request court to ask the uber to provide details of all such cases and tell the court what action they have taken.in case it is found that uber have deliberately with the help of driver is doing this. My request is to shut the uber operation in india.
                        This is definitely a security risk with the passenger sitting in uber cabs.in case of women passenger this become even more delegate situation. Keeping all such point in mind i request the court to punish/fine uber to make a good example for all other such competitor.

                          I booked an uber cab in chennai from t nagar to perungudi at about 10 30 am on june 11, 2018. When contacted first time driver said he was very near to me and pick me up shortly. After waiting for quite some time i tried to contact him, but he was only terminating the calls. To my surprise, on the map, i found out that he was going away from my place. I was forced to cancel the ride for which i will be charged for no fault of mine and i have lost some very precious time. I strongly feel this type reckless/irresponsible drivers should be punished. You can find out the proceedings from drivers call log. The driver name is mohammedrafees on hyyundai xcent, tel no.[protected]. Uber should insist that drivers should not ask destination details before picking up.

                            I have been having this constant issue o[censored]ber driver's demanding for the nice road toll charge. Though the toll was included as part of the total fare, the driver's have demanded the toll from me by cash. It is very sad that your driver's are not even aware that toll charges are inclusive in the fare.

                            Your customer support is highly disappointing and worse.in spite of my best efforts, you have just pasted a standard reply and resolved my issue. This is highly unacceptable.

When my father seat he just canceled uber and drive directly. Due to my father safety we didn’t stop him. That driver is worst. Please disqualify this type of driver and set a good example.

                              Dear sir/madam,

                              I booked an uberpool for my brother-in-law from ghaziabad to t2, delhi airport at 11:07 pm of 09-june-2018. After reaching the airport at 12:14 am of 10-june-2018, driver forced him to pay rs. 100 extra for toll charges, when he refused to pay, driver started arguing and abusing.

                              I tried to contact uber using their help section and posted the complaint on twitter too, but no response.

                              Now-a-days, uber drivers are behaving unprofessionally and bullying the passenger, but uber is not taking any action against them.

                                When i was booking cab from noida sector 62 to vaishali i choosed paytm but due to balance lower then 350 i was not able to book cab so i choosed cash transaction and on ending trip i paid driver cash which was more then displayed fare as driver was not well acquinted with routes here all problem started firstly uber people have debited my paytm (Which is unethical and without my consent) that time my paytm account have no balance so i choosed cash and also driver asked for money more then expected. The driver was not aware of the route and was not able to see the map properly, so he took long route. After reaching the destination, he tried to end the ride but was not able to do the same, it took 10 min to cancel it and i got a message for payment of rs.108, i paid rs.110. At the time of booking, it was showing rs. 67. I need refund of rs. 43. And also refund entire amount deducted from paytm which was unethical deduction. When i lodged the complain the uber help has some other stand that they cant track cash transaction and i had choosed paytm
                                How can i choose paytm and book cab when my balance was less then 350 and how uber people have changed cash transaction to paytm and debited my paytm which is fraud on their part. I want refund of 108 debited via paytm and also excess amount i was forced to pay in cash because of wrong routes taken by uber driver

                                    My two sisters and bhabhi along with their kids booked a cab from shakarpur mother dairy road to noida sector 38 at 12:24 pm, the car was swift dzire, driver name was ram. One of the kids was sitting in front seat and tried to turn the ac air direction towards himself. With this driver started saying that tumhara baccha badtameez hai, kaisi shiksha di hai aapne ise. When my sister confronted the driver for his language. He started abusing my sisters and bhabhi using vulgar words like randi, etc. He also said that jo karna ho kar lena, mera koi kuch nhi bigaad sakta.

                                    Car no. Is not known as it is not showing in uber app now and my sisters couldn't remember the car no. Now.

                                    Please take strict action against and put him behind the bars. We are ready to lodge fir against him.

                                      In my account about Rs 600/- and odd was there after which I took a ride costing about Rs 500/-. Subsequently, when I tried to book, the app did not allow me saying that there is only Rs 150/- and odd is balance and that I need to deposit more. I deposited Rs 1000/- more but now my account shows 0 balance and is neither allowing to book any further rides nor is showing any balance in my account. I can neither see the rides taken in the past nor book a new ride. There is no way I am finding that I can proceed further to make use of the app or to know the update of my account.

                                        First complaint is regarding price, watever fares they show always increase fare in between on going trip and collect unnecessary fare. Uf driver cancel the trip then also they charge from the customer.
                                        Second the behaviour of driver is cery bad. M goin to peenya metro station from jayanagar, driver wants to take wrong route and wen i asked that he misbehaved with me in terms of shouting and showed arrogance. If this is the type of behaviour and cheating dese companies are doing then who goin to believe on dem.
                                        If we complaint no necessary actions taken against that. Please help
