I took a an uber cab for a ride of about 10 kms on 31st of may, 2018. At the end of the trip, the driver's device displayed that the trip fare amounted to rs. 172. I paid the required amount but when i received the bill receipt in the uber app, it showed the trip fare amounted to rs. 152. I dont understand how did this difference of rs. 20 arise. When i complained uber via email i did not get any satisfactory response. They said that the extra cash of rs. 20 paid to the driver is out of the uber system and hence it cannot be resolved in any way. I am very dissatisfied by this.

    Dear sir
    I have a drive from kukreja hospital to my home at 19.02 through your company having driver mr. Mukesh vehicle maruti suzuki dzire.
    As i am regular customer of your company from a long time, and till now i have not faced any problem from your side & willing to have a healthy relationship.
    You driver was give me such a painfull service that i can't mentioned in words.
    As you know i am comming from hospital with a patient and your driver has dropped us 0.80 kilometre far from my destination.
    All your driver pick and drop from my home during all my previous trips.
    We are sorry to say there is no panick button in your vehicles for us. And there is no any emergency number for such type of situation.
    Now arround two hours left when i have given you the trip experience and share the bad position, there is no any call from your side.
    Hope you will treat it urgent and listen my experience through telephone & shutout the matter and make all the possible arrangement so the same position may not happen to your customers.

      I had taken a trip on 21st may 2018 at 3:58 pm from pottakuzhy road to cochin international airport. I was charged rs.445.52 for tge trip which i paid using tez app (Upi).
      When i tried to book a cab the next day, i was asked to pay again. I had to pay it again as i wanted a cab for commuting urgently. This time i had paid using paytm. I raised a complaint in the uber app. The customer service agent replied asking me to attach the screenshots of the bank statement and the paytm app. Inspite of trying many times, the uber app wasn't attaching the screenshots. I requested the agent send me uber's email address to which i could attach the screenshots as the app wasn't uploading any pictures inspite o[censored]pdating it as well. She just assumed i am unaware of how to take screenshots or attach pictures and just sent me some guidelines on that. I informed her again that it wasn't my mistake that uber app isn't attaching any picture that i tried attaching. There hasn't been any response from her or uber since.
      I need my money back at the earliest. I am attaching the screenshot of the trip details,, myank statement of 21st may and the paytm app statement of 22nd may for your perusal.

        On 19th nay, i booked an auto at 9.00 pm from home to konankunte cross. The driver neither arrived nir received my call. Waiting for 20mts, when i cancelled the trip i was charged rs.42/- cancellation fee. When i sought help from uber app, the fee got cancelled and showed the same as credit
        But for my surprise on 20th may, when i tried to nook the cab from home to yeshwantpur railway station, i was asked to pay the outstanding cancellation fee of rs 42/-. I was surprised to know why should i pay when there is a credit
        As i was in a hurry to reach the railway station i opted to pay the charges to the next driver. Accirdingly i paid the outstanding amount and the present journey charges together an amount of rs 280/- to the driver after the completion of trio.
        When i went to book the cab on 29th once again it is showing an outstanding amount of rs 234/- for the journey on 20th towards the onward journey to yeshwantpur railway station
        This is something like a day robery and unbelievable from the reputed company like uber.
        Being a senior citizen of 75 years, every rupee is valuable for me. If so is it not unscrupulous to pay the charges which has been already paid
        Moreover, inspite of my several messages sent to help at uber app, no response hitherto since 2 days
        I request you to get me due justice and let them withdraw the outstanding balance issue

          I paid toll fee for my driver on 30th may trip at nice road and then the toll charges were included in the final trip which was noticed later when we reviewed the receipt. When i reported to uber they informed that the payment was done outside of the uber payment method so they can't provide resolution. Why is this not indicated while booking when the trip has toll road in between, so that we are aware that we don't have to pay any toll? Why is driver not instructed not to ask money for toll. Have uber made a business for charging their traveler extra?

            At the start of journey, my upfront fare was rs. 164/-, and journey happened as planned. However, when i opened app to book for going back, i noticed that previous journey is still on and driver didn't end the journey. I immediately cancelled but now there is an exorbitant outstanding fare of rs. 1183/-, which is not acceptable. I've been following up with customer care rigorously, but there is no response at all.

              I called a cab to interface 7 (Malad west) on the 30th of may at around 3:43 pm to drop me to ashok nagar in marol andheri east. I inserted my card details to make the payment. The app showed the car would arrive in 7 minutes. I waited, the car never came, neither did the driver call me to inform me if we reached, suddenly the app shows that my trip has started, when i was still in office waiting for the car. The driver`s name is jagadeesh gaddikeri, i dont know who he picked up and dropped. After informing uber about their mistake, they have denied to help me outright. They charged 99 rupees from me & are asking me to pay more 99 rupees. The customer care o[censored]ber has replied that i have taken the trip, i took a rickshaw instead, since this car did not arrive at all. This is how uber cheats u when u pay in advance or link ur card to their account. Their customer care is so rude that they wont even address such a normal issue. Their app has flawed & they are making me pay 200 rupees for their mistake. Not done at all

                I would like to bring to notice that my wife (Sowmya sujir) booked a share uber cab today i. E. May 30, 2018, the cab was stuck in a jam in sarjapur outer ring road, the cab driver asked her to get down, when she said she would take action, he said he does not care and asked to get down. This is such an unsafe way of handling passengers (Especially lady passenger) to get down at 9:50 pm. The details of the driver are as given below.

                I would be officially launching a police complaint about the same, to put my wife safety at risk. If this is way uber operates it a high risk from a safety standpoint.

                  Today on 31st may 2018, around 10.05 am i booked cab & got confirmation that hyundai xcent (Driver name jagadeesh gaddikeri) will report to me within 18 minutes.

                  Within minutes, i get another message that cab will report to me around 10.55 am, that is post 55 minutes of the booking.

                  Seeing this message, i cancelled the booking for which uber deducted rs.76.15, with 1.4 times surge pricing, from my paytm account linked with uber.

                  My questions are :

                  1. Is it that uber app deliberately show lower reporting time so that customer remained engaged to wait for the cab?
                  2. Is it that through such means uber enhance their earning by deducting fare charges from customers?
                  3. Can you build up or retain your loyal customer base through such business practices?
                  4. Seeing such business practice, why should not i delete uber app from my mobile & say never to ride again in uber?

                  I expect uber not only to reimburse deducted amount to me but desist from such business practices by correcting such glitches of huge variance in actual reporting time & conveyed reporting time of your cab

                    I have complained to uber regarding not able to book my uber ride, after changing my phone because the uber app says that your number is already in use. After complaing to uber 10 times in so many days nothing has happened. And there is noway to contact them. They say an agent will get in touch with you through eamil. But nothing happens. Toatally hopeless grievance solving mechanism.

                      Today i booked a can from mvp double road beside hdfc bank to vindhya apartments though i called the cab driver he said im at the exact location, i called him twice& said u are bit ahead to the road come to this point. I was waiting there for 10 mins but he din’t come instead he said plz cancel ur trip, i said why i should cancel my trip... Again i made a call then very rudely he said i[censored] want to lodge a complaint then go ahead... This was the behaviour. I was a regular customer o[censored]ber by since this kind of driver if i get in my day to day life sorry m afraid of this uber service

                        I have share my bad experience with Uber booking today (25/05/2018)

                        Actually I have booked Uber Tata Indica today nanmanglam to Chromepet (chennai).i have booked on 9.11pm, at the timing driver place to pickup place distance showing 14 minutes but timing are moving but the distance timing also showing increased 21 mints, 27 mints, I have called to the driver and told him “I’m travel to pollachi my bus arriving on 9.50 pm so shall I cancel the booking “but he replied “I’m in near by your place, near by your place”repeatedly told but the location is till 24 mints showed, again I told him shall I co ordinate the root but he told don’t cancel the booking and I’m near by your location...finally he came 9.32pm but my bus time is 9.50 pm .he came and shouted me with bad words and he drunken liquor after that I told I will complain to police and Uber team but he don’t worry about that my words and he fighting me settle the amount Rs 300, I’m shocking and asked I’m not traveling your car why I want to pay money but he on the mobile camera and I moving that place but he followed me shouting in the road and blackmailed recording for “I m Uber staff this customer are kicking me” that kind of words really I’m ashamed my place finally I gave for Rs 300 for avoiding my situation .. I have below mentioned the driver details kindly take a serious action to that driver and I need my money returning.

                          I booked uber cab from jamia hamdard to govindpuri metro station at 12:40 pm on 29.05.2018. The following drivers gave me trouble:
                          1. Mobile no.- [protected] after confirming with me, he cancelled my trip on his own without informing me. I was left waiting.
                          2. Driver name - vikas, mob no. - [protected]. After the above ride got cancelled, i contacted this driver (Vikas) who said he is coming. There was a 14 min wait showing and i decided to take this cab only as i was not getting anything. But this driver switched off his phone and after a long period of wait he never came to pick me. I kept trying to contact him. It was showing 1 min on the app but there was no sign of this driver even though he was near my place. I was left helpless and then desperately i had to take another mode of transport.
                          Both these drivers should be blacklisted.

                            Wrongly charge of toll fee, at kalupur railway station by uber for my rides on 26th may 2018

                            As there are 12 min pass through, if you cross - came out from station within 12 min, there is free pass - through, we have cross station within same time frame

                            Drive has not monthly pass or not paid any way. You can cross check with driver also, we have not paid any way to govt.

                            Please reimburse to the additional charges.

                              I travelled on 25-may-18 travelled from airoli to mira road. The fare shown at start was 702 and on completing journey showed 826. There was no heavy traffic.

                              I raised a complaint on uber app, but there was no response from uber support.

                              Nobody from uber support has contacted me for the below issue that i raised for overcharging of fare.

                              This is not acceptable and we do not have uber contact support number to reach out to and feeling helpless.

                                Hello uber manager,
                                This is to inform you that uber is not picking up the right route for the riders for uber pool. Today i was about to reach my destination after travelling all the way from andheri e to eastern express highway within 15 to 20 mins. But the driver was asked to pickup the next pool passenger from the location datar colony somewhere interior of kanjurmarg village. We had already passed the signal on highway so had to take a long u turn and go back to kanjurmarg and then to the interior for the next pickup. Then finally on the way back to our location. Which all together caused delay of half an hour or more to me due to which i was late in office for a meeting preparation.

                                Please see to it that uber pool drivers are not assigned calls which are out of the way of the present uber rider inside the cab since we are paying enough amount as per your demand shown in app.

                                  On 18 may 18 i took a ride from kharar to vip road zirakpur.. My driver name was parminder. My fare was showing 180 rs nd drive took 365 rs for that ride.. I wrote to uber but they are no resolving my issue.. I have all the details and call recordings with driver.. 1st he said i will return the money in 30 mins fter that he sid in the morning and then he said i will not return the money. I paid thru paytm bcoz i was not having much cash in my pocket. I was hving only 200rs at that time bcoz i thought 180 is the fare. Details attached. Please look into the matter.

                                    Yesterday incident
                                    I m a frequently used uber but one of worst experience i had today. Yesterday i booked a cab (Wb04h4343) and went to site. I payed the bill and left from car. After some time remembered that i forgot my mobile in cab then i called driver and told him that i forgot my cell in your car. Then he told me yes i found the same. But then he started the bargaining with me and asked me for whisky and you can collect your thing at night from our area. I was shocked then i replied him that ethically this is not right. If some one left something in your cab its your duty & you should return the same with well manner. Then he replied that i don't care about ethics an all if you want to get back your things then come in our locality along with whiskey. Then i replied ok will do bcoz for me its more important to get back my mobile at any cost.. And last night i got my mobile back.. But after i was checked my cell i found the driver has checked and alter my memory card and i had sime personal data and family snap in it may be he did something wrong and if something happened in future the uber will be responsible for the sane.. Shame on uber service from now onwards i will never use uber and even not suggest anyone to ride with uber.. I don't hv word to express my angriness...
                                    Why are such incident occur in uber services only???
                                    I will request you to take strong action against driver and keep me updated.

                                    I am canceling one trip you charge rupees 30 OK but your driver canceled my trip so I am late for 1 hours. Who will fine for the driver. This is fraud. I am very disappointed for this issue. May be I am leaving from uber.

                                      Uber provides such a disastrous services. These people are least bothered for their customers. On 6 april i had booked uber cab and there was huge mess on same day due to rain. So driver was not able to reach my place on time. I waited for a long and then left by some other conveyance.. Same driver asked me to cancel the trip as he was unable to reach me. These uber people had charged 84 rs cancellation charges when driver denied the duty.

                                        I have selected ride from UBER via TAPZO app, due to some sync up issue it had selected PAYTM payment. I had only 200 as balance and my trip cost was 283. Driver was not patient to wait and as there is no customer care to reach out for, he was forcing me to pay cash. Though cash has been paid, i now see outstanding balance in my Uber account. When reached out to Uber support there are not taking responsibility for the cash paid to the UBER driving. This needs to be posted across in all social forums to create awareness on how UBER is cheating it's customers and harsh response from Customer care.
