Booked cab around 7 in the morning on may 23rd 2018. Was shown an upfront fare of Rs225 - since some Rs50 off was also applicable. Trip took very less time since it was quite early in the morning and therefore no traffic at all.

Uber deducted Rs384 as the fare from my Paytm wallet, instead o[censored]pfront fare of Rs225. I want my money to be refunded back to my wallet.

There was no traffic, no deviation in route and still uber unfairly charged this amount. On trying their help section, I got a response that it will be looked into but more than 24 hours has passed and no update.

Uber has been doing this malpractice for many months now. One look at Uber's facebook page where customers have been giving this kind of complaints on a daily basis sheds light on this trick uber has been using and fooling its customers.

Sometimes they charge a small amount extra over the upfront fare such as Rs20-30 and many people don't complain about it. But sometimes it is over Rs100. Uber needs to change this malpractice and be held accountable .

I took a ride by Uber car on 07/05/2018 and made 122.40 Rs payment by SBI credit card bot the Uber account hasn't got credited. The Uber ride is again asking for payment. Please do the needful.

    Subject: Jacking Up price to three times at the end of travel
    Value: 588 rupees

    I travelled from my residence at no 110, behind metro hotel, nagarbhavi 2nd stage, Bangalore 72 to no 32, 2nd B cross, Ashwathnagar, Armanenagar, Bangalore 560006 at 9.45 pm on 23/ 05/2018 on UBER service. The fare displayed for the travel.was 296 rupees. Mr Somashekhar was the driver . At the end of journey, i was charged 894.12, which is three times the fare. Basic fare, distnace charge, time charge surcharge were all added in the bill. I think it is cooked up by the driver at the end of the journey or by UBER itself. Driver told he does not know anything, but forced me to pay and contact UBER later. I had to pay cash 894 rupees and contacted help on UBER. They have not responded yet . It is a day time robbery UBER. They should immediately refund the amount and explain and correct the mistake failing which case will be ruled in the dustict consumer forum.

      Everytime i am facing the problem with uber that once we booked the ride, uber driver cancelled the ride.. Many times they keeps us waiting and after reaching to source they cancelled the ride... They ask us whr is the destination nd suddenly the ride git cancelled... The delay got added... Many times we r in hurry and suddenly got the pop up.
      Also, major issue is uber is charging the cancellation amount to customer... Many times it is half the price of ride approx..

      Why customer need to bare tht amount if their driver are cancelling the ride from their end...

      This is highly unlikely professional nd not in the favour of customet

        To whom so ever it may concern

        My name is vivian mathur and i am a practicing advocate in the state of new delhi today around 1:15 pm on 23/05/2018 i was driving at speed of 30 km/h towards oxford senior secondary school in vikas puri, when suddenly an uber driver was turning without indicator from his still point and due my reflexes i had stopped the car in the neck of time and before the collision on asking the uber driving that why he was driving negligently he started misbehaving and started shouting on me and my mother, furthermore i had asked for his licence to call the authorities he shouted and when i had explained that i m an advocate he misbehaved more with no reminisce of his behavior. I feel ashamed that such reputed corporation hire people as there employees whom are disrespecting people and don't follow any traffic regulations what so ever. On trying to call the authorities he started saying that i was using my power and was not being justified. But it was due to my reflexes that the collision didn't occur and my mother is safe. I am attaching a picture of his number plate. Please ask him not behave in an uncanny manner and to be respectful towards the public and public officer. It is sheer luck that my car didn't collide and my mother is safe, but it is our duty to follow the rules so that no incidents would occur. I hope that same would be told to him and make him understand, that rules are meant to followed and being respectful to others.
        I have faith in uber who safeguards the right of the people where there employees try to cause harm to the people.

        Its minor mistakes due to grievous accidents occur and my mother was with me in my car its the grace of god that the collision didn't happen but such act is not acceptable. Please address the issue to the employee so that such act is not repeated again.

          We have booked uber cab on 23st monday may 2018 at around 12:30pm. I have given the google location that we usually give to all the drivers.
          And after booking its shows 4 mnts in pickup and once i reached to tha pickup point driver cancel the trip by their end.. And my fares are also increased by 20₹ more..
          The i got a second cab in 16 mnts later.. Pathetic service...

            On 10th may'18 evening, we took a uber trip in mumbai from thane to juinagar (In hyundai xcent with monish driver) and while booking in the app it showed, i will be charged fare of rs 510/- but they charged rs 666.66/- at the end of the trip.

            I protested that they cannot charge more than what the app showed to me while booking. They argued that the driver took a different route for the same. But its not our responsibility if the driver took a longer route and why should we as a customer be penalized for the same. I would not have booked if i have known they would charge a higher amount.

            I would request to reduce my fare to rs 510/- and refund the balance amount. Its been now 2 week since i have in touch with uber customer care and they have now stop responding to my queries. I hope for a speedy resolution.

              We have booked uber cab on 21st monday may 2018 at around 1.30pm. We have given the google location that we usually give to all the drivers. This is the first time a driver claims not able to locate even after giving instruction he was going on the other direction and finally without informing us he had cancelled the trip. My wife was waiting on the hot sun centre of the road for 30 mints. On top of this you had charged us cancellation charges where we have not cancelled you had only cancelled. I want action to be taken against the driver and the cancellation charges to be refunded to us or we will need to look at other options.

                To-UBER officials- today(22/05/2018) morning experience in mumbai.

                1. I tried booking at 8.59am. Ride got booked (driver kaleem basha; hyundai xcent). As the cab was moving in a different direction, I tried contacting the driver. But the contact number found invalid. After waiting for a few minutes, I was forced to cancel the ride.The cancellation fee of INR 121.56 was charged.

                2. I again tried booking another ride. But the same person's cab got booked again. The same scenario repeated. Further, a cancellation fee of INR 180.87 was deducted.

                The above mentioned issue was already reported in the uber app customer help. But there was no response!!

                Due to the wrong data provide in uber database regarding the contact, I lost money as well as my valuable time of half an hour in the morning. Address the issue and refund the money back at the earliest.

                  On 18 may 2018 morning myself and my family waited between 8.45 am to 10.15 am for travel in uber taxi including confirming the ride. There was no response. Uber ad on 50% promotion activation masked my half the mobile screen. There was no information regarding time to wait for pick up during the entire period. Driver's name and taxi number also were not displayed. We were in a hurry to go to our wellness centre for medical check up. We had no other option but to take auto and make the journey. Driver's name and the taxi number were not at all appearing on the screen for the said period.
                  The pick up point was ivory apartments b block, kellys, chennai 600010. This was booked by my mobile number [protected].
                  It saddens to point out the following which require your immediate attention and action:
                  1. Driver's mobile number is not displayed. We just can not contact him.
                  2. A few drivers who get our mobile number do not contact us. Instead they try to bluff that mobile is not picked up.
                  3. When there is no response for pick up beyond 20 minutes there ought to be notification for confirmation / cancel if the driver's mobile is displayed we can inform him accordingly.
                  4. When the service is not provided within the reasonable time limit of 20 minutes and cancellation option is not given uber charge rs.30 as cancellation charges which is unethical..
                  5. More than two times i had to cough up such unethical charges.
                  6. Uber tower/ server is not at all effective and hence the commuter suffers for want of communication with the driver, loaction etc.
                  7. The above lacuna creates problem for the commuter to give the exact location and guidance to the driver.
                  8. Once the journey is over we get to know the payment details from the driver, but the same is not transmitted in our mobile.
                  I fondly hope that uber will improve services to the commuters.
                  Please make uber services are customer friendly which is the urgent need. Uber needs immediate improvement in services.

                    On 21.05.2018 at around 3.55 P.m., i booked a uber cab for Rs. 119/from apollo hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad to Kothaguda X road, Hyderabad. After around ten minutes the cab came at the pick-up point but refused to allow me and my wife, who was under doctor, s treatment to board the cab and drove away. To avoid the charges for the trip i canceled the trip.i got a message at 16.07 that i have paid uber Rs. 75.07. This type of cheating can be done by uber drivers and they will not take any action against the driver but to satisfy me they can again credit the amount in my paytm account. but whether it is sufficient to deter such a type of things happening again.

                      On 14.05.2018 at around 7.25p. M., i booked a uber cab for around rs. 534/ for my trip from secunderabad rly stn, to my home at aparna hill park avenues, chandanagar, hyderabad. After waiting for around 10 minutes suddenly i got message from uber to book a cab but the fare now was around rs. 654/. I had to again book the cab at that price but to my surprise the cab number was same. I tried to contact the driver but could not than i cancelled the the booking. I got the message that i have paid uber rs. 47.25 and just after 10 minutes i got another message that i paid the uber rs. 47.25. What i got in return for my half an hour harassment charge for rs. 94.50 without any trip.

                        Hi,

                        I book an Uber cab on 05/05/2018 from Kukatpally to Rajivgandhi International Airport . That cost me 1116:63 and driver asked me pay through the cash. I said it showing paytm. Driver said there is technical issue in paytm payment so it won’t charge from Paytm. I paid through cash . After 8 days ( 12/05/18 ) they charge me again from paytm. I try to contact them from Uber app. But they r not responding. How come they r charging twice . No contact number for Uber customer service.
                        They r violating all the rules.

                            Yesterday i booked one can and its show my pending payment due 61inr.
                            I choose option to pay this amount for my next trip driver.

                            Booked can with base fare of 45 inr so technically i need to pay 45 +61 inr.

                            Once trip closed driver asked me to pay 335 and even in receipt as well its show 335.

                            There is no helpline no there to raise this concern.

                            In receipt its show pending for my monday trip but i didn't any cab on monday.

                              Had booked a cab at mumbai airport international terminal t2 on 21st may 2018 at 9:06 am. The cab never turned up. I went to the uber counter at the terminal who advised me to cancel the booking and make a fresh one. To my shock, uber has billed me rs 248.69 for a trip which i never made. The counter person advised me to submit a refund request from the mobile app but have not received any revert from them. I booked another 9:28 am and it was a repeat of the same story. I was billed rs 123.66. On both occasions cab never arrived. Yet my paytm account was debitted for the same. I am planning to file a section 420 case of cheating and fraud against uber.

                                Dear sir/madam,

                                In reference to the subject stated above, kindly review the constant excuses upon the complaints made to uber and thereof their lack of ' response ' to the clients complains at time.

                                I/ as well as a few known others have already complained a few times on the diffrence of fare rates at the time of booking and the diffrence at the time of reaching the destination. Excuses are constantly given even though there was

                                1. No traffic or hindrances during travel

                                2. Driver parks elsewhere from point of pickup and then claims client was not at the pickup point

                                3. Customer support replies/deems complaints solved and sends messages to that affect without actually soving the issues

                                4. Many a times constant complains are met with a ' no response ' attitude fron uber cc

                                Kindly revert at the earliest on this matter.

                                I have booked an auto from mahalingapuram main road to home at 05.20 pm approximately and confirmed. But the Driver refused to come and asked me to cancel. I have also cancelled the trip for which I have received a message that I will be charged cancellation charges. Why should I pay for NO fault of mine.

                                  I booked for an uber pool ride for two persons on 18th may 2018 at pune. I got an immediate confirmation from uber alongwith the required details about the vehicle. The driver also did contact me and asked for where we are to go and i did respond to that. The driver was just about a kilometre away when he talked. However his vehicle was stationery and not moving at all and i called him twice but he did not pick up the phone. Thereafter i cancelled my booking and was informed that i would be charged rs 42.50 as cancellation fee that i duly contested and reported to uber and uber also informed that the cancellation fee has been credited back. I took a fresh cab from uber (Ubergo) and reached the destination and at the destination i observed that the cancellation fee has not been credited so far to my account and i paid the fee and closed that call. I reported this back to uber and uber without even bothering to look at my invoice informed that the credit has been adjusted and the issue is closed. I think uber is cheating the public of the country by informing that false credit has been provided to the customer. I strongly recommend every body not to use uber and go for ola as the service and feed back are far superior. My telephone number is [protected].

                                    Sir, i am surprised how come i was charged 36.76 when the driver did not come or recieve the call to pick me up from the airport. I have experienced this kind kind of problem earlier as well, either they charge traffic charges unnecessarily or they enforce inconvenience knowingly.

                                    On 18 night i had to wait for half an hour, neither did he show any inclination contact me on phone. This is undue harassment, therefore, i request your organization to train these persons accordingly. As a result of these i had to move around with my luggage for about 30 minutes and later came by auto rickshaw.

                                    To my utter surprise, i had to pay the amount for the driver's negligence.

                                    If by paying the amount your organisation improves professionally i have no hesitation to pay it, but how would your system improve, if people like me don't give any feedback.

                                    I paid the trip fare of 139 rupees, trip booked on 5th May from warp tower to Hennur Main Road. After paying the money it shows payment due, I raised complain on Uber App but they are not responding.
                                    Today I had booked a taxi from Rly stn to Resi in Blore.

                                    When I tried to contact the driver, I got a message as mobile switched off.

                                    When I finally could contact / trace him, the driver said time out and cancelled my booking.

                                    Resultantly I being charged cancellation fees.
                                    I took uber ride on 21st April 2018. Cab was running out of CNG for which even after me not in agreement driver stopped at the pump which took almost 25-30 min.. I raised the concern with uber.. they also charged rs.130 waiting time charges from me for which I m not responsible.. i need my money back.. why should I pay for no fault of mine..

                                      Sir i am kumar advocate in madras high court chennai. Today 12.36 i booked uber go from my place and also spoke to the driver after receiving the details from uber and waited for his arrival. But without my knowledge he cancelled the trip and also charged rs 30 as cancellation fees. I was so shocked about the cancellation because i have to attend important function.                                         I have taken a trip from 18 eastern metropolitan bypass, kolkata west bengal to 5 eastern metropolitan bypass and had my upi option selected for payment.
                                        I have made the payment as soon as the ride ended but while booking another ride it showed that the payment is due.
                                        I have raised a complaint 24 hours ago i. E. On 19th may 2018 about the duplicate charge but no communication is present from uber india.
                                        Today i. E. 20th may 2018 i had to book another ride and was still shown the balance charge.
                                        I have paid the balance again in hope to receive the same again, but the same is still showin as unpaid.
