I need numbers where i can contact & tell my exact issue. Why is it i have to penalty each time when i am not at fault. It may be just 30 rupees but b cos driver stands at a different location & demands me to come there or tells me that he cant come to this trip being a short trip and then finally i am made to accept the fact that i am wrong? I need an explanation to this or a person to call or reply to this to my mail [protected]@rediffmail.com two times i have undergone this unnecessary issue. Though i thought i could use uber now i have an awkward feeling that most of the time the drivers are making us fools and the best part is we are made to pay penalty for no fault of mine. I am forced to cancel it else bear the penalty i am sure i wont get a response as i heard the response in grievance with regard to uber is zero.. Also the few drivers who give their opinion with uber control only give a negative feel that uber top people are minting money in their own way and are making the drivers dance like puppet in their hands... So one can understand if there would be any response or if i would be called and waived off the two penalty as a mark to say i am not the issue in the instance involved.

    Two consecutive days it has happened. On booking it is showing 147.00 but on billing it is charging 186.00. Another one while booking it is showing 114.00 but on billing it is showing 163. Both these journeys had no traffic jams. The journeys were completed well in time. Still they are charging high. Despite complaint to the company, there is no response. No refund as yet.

      Cash was paid to driver beacuse uber app has crashed. Both in my phone and drivers phone. We waited 20 mins. As a last resort i had to pay ₹600 to driver.
      Why don't u call your uber driver and ask him. I think he will confirm. Why do u want to peanlize the customer for ur app problems.

      I don't want your robot reply.

      Hope u understand the situation as it was well past midnight. And even the driver could not reach uber customer service.
      And i had no clue about cash or paytm payment s.
      Any way i have started using ola app for the airport just now.
      May be have to delete your app
      Just because a immature is replying to me.
      I hope i made few points very clear.

      Will repeat it for ur convince.

      1 the timing was well past midnight
      2 uber app crashed both in my phone and driver phone.
      3 i get ur repecit only in morning i mean after 3 hrs o[censored]r ride.
      4 i have paid the driver ₹600 for a 360₹ ride and the driver has confirmed it.

      Can i expect a mature human to reply back or a call will be highly appreciated.

        We booked an uber go fro pick up from the airport. It was showing a fare of about 116-150 rs at the time of booking. 5 minutes later we received a message saying that due to high demand, tge the fare has increased to ₹350. We tried to cancel it but it said that it had already arrived. We had ordered a small uber go but it senr a big car. We had to pay a fare of ₹350. We also did not receive the bill. This has happened to us many time. At the time of booking they show nominal fares but then change them at the last moment and we r unable to cancel the ride. We have not received any invoice or detail of the fare. We are tired of this policy o[censored]ber. We are very angry by such type of monopolistic and unfair practice o[censored]ber. Kindly look into the matter.

          I had booked uberpool on 24 may at 1750hrs and was waiting at the location. Suddenly the message comes that i have been picked up even though the vehicle on the map was showing at a different location. Then after a while it showed i was dropped off at a different location and was charged inr 133.
          I filed a complaint with uber and they keep saying on the system it shows trip ended at the intended destination.
          This is cheating done by uber in collaboration with their drivers to earn money from customers for services not taken.

          I received a call from Uber customer care in the first of week of June and they said, will investigate and revert back. Till date I havent received any feedback from them.

            Today[protected] time 1.44pm i booked uber cab. While i was booked in my home itself. Starting point and ending point i given properly. The driver name is dhandapani car name maruti suzuki swift dzire. I never seen in my life this kind of worst behavior driver in my life. He told i need to come main road. Main road to my place 500meter. Moreover i told him i am having a luggage i can't come. You please come little front then i will come by walk and get u. He never came i called hime 3 times if you want i will show the screenshot. Hereafter i won't use uber i told my friends circle they are also telling the same. If your not take a action from your side. I will go to court and i will raise the compliment uber service as well that driver. I want your immediate reply.

              The following incident that took place on 12/4/18. According to uber's legal policy a driver cannot make his personal errand during the ride. He stopped for 15mins for a personal errand

              . Secondly if a passenger is overcharged or the passenger by mistakenly overpaid. Uber is obligated to return the money back

              Since my transcation said rs.524, i payed him rs.1024 /-

              Giving him reminder calls, contacting to uber, writing emails. I havn't received my money back.

                I just travelled today from my aunt's home i. E; jp nagar to my home i. E; vijayanagar
                Previously they were showing the rate of 100 for 2 people in pool but now they are charging ₹89 extra i. E; ₹189
                These was not the first time but many times this has happened

                So i request you to take necessary action regarding these reasonless fare increase

                  19th i booked a uber cab at 7pm, driver refused to cover and asked me to cancel, as i refused to cancel, as uber charge. So i booked another cab from my wife no and reached destination, but later i found that, uber has charged me for a trip which i did not take. Attached all the details.

                  You guys need to understand its hard earned money, you can not take customer money for granted.
                  Just because of loop holes in your uber application, does not means that you can deduct money as you want.
                  This is not the first time happened to me, you can check the history.
                  But everytime, we cannot keep quite.
                  Even tough there are many cab apps, but as we dont want to waste time in installning so many apps, and keep looking for bull ### offers to compare.
                  As we customer are loyal to Uber, its Uber responsibility to take care of customer.
                  You can not take granted for customer money, you need to bring strict rules to drivers who refuse to show up and harass customers.

                    I took a trip on 14th april and due to their fluctuation issue the driver could not locate my proper location and due to this my 3 trips were cancelled and i had to wait for almost 40 mins with my 1 yr daughter and mother in law, i was penalised a sum of 47rs. For cancellation and the driver overcharged that amount to me since i cancelled the last trip after 40 mins and booked uber again. I complained about this to uber customer service on 16th april and informed them about the issue, after complaining i was informed that a reversal has been made and it would reflect my uber receipts which has yet not happened. I have been complaining about this several times but no one bothers to reply. It is not a matter of rs47 but about the cheating these guys are doing with their customers. Now i am demanding not about the reversal but also a compensation for me for waiting with my old mother in law and 1 year daughter and so much harassment after that.
                    Most pathetic customer service ever seen.

                      I have taken uber on may 17, 2018 from noida city centre metro to sector 110 noida. It was booked under my flat fare pass of rs 99. The same route which has shown by google and taken by uber. I have booked under flat fare of rs 99 but when the chauffer completed the duty it is has shown 164 rs. And the same was deducted from my paytm account. I haven't derouted the route and the same can be checked with the driver.

                      When i complained to uber no body responded rather acknowledged my mail. Again after my reminder mail to them thru their app i got a standard reply that route shown is not taken by uber and am rerouted him to other so they charged. Which is totally false statement.

                      It happened twice as of now and nobody is there to listen customer queries. For a week they are only saying that they will forward my query to concerned backend team and will revert. After so many chasers and reminder till date i haven't got any satisfactorily reply nor refund.

                      Now i understand the policy o[censored]ber to fool customer by offering flat fares and then converted into higher charges with false allegations. Please help to get my refund.

                          I had booked an Uber Pool from Lower Parel to Chembur on 22nd May. The fare was 188 which was at 1.7 times surge. After I got down at Chembur the driver did not end the trip and went all the way till Worli. The payment was through wallet and I got a message that 900 was deducted from my paytm account for the trip almost 1.5 hrs after getting down at Chembur. I raised a complaint on the ‘Help’ option on the app and was told that issue was forwarded to the concerned team. However since then I have not got any revert from Uber. They have been ignoring me on the customer care chat as well. Pathetic customer service, cheating customers. As if surcharge wasn’t enough they have started looting people like this now.

                            Booked cab around 7 in the morning on may 23rd 2018. Was shown an upfront fare of Rs225 - since some Rs50 off was also applicable. Trip took very less time since it was quite early in the morning and therefore no traffic at all.

                            Uber deducted Rs384 as the fare from my Paytm wallet, instead o[censored]pfront fare of Rs225. I want my money to be refunded back to my wallet.

                            There was no traffic, no deviation in route and still uber unfairly charged this amount. On trying their help section, I got a response that it will be looked into but more than 24 hours has passed and no update.

                            Uber has been doing this malpractice for many months now. One look at Uber's facebook page where customers have been giving this kind of complaints on a daily basis sheds light on this trick uber has been using and fooling its customers.

                            Sometimes they charge a small amount extra over the upfront fare such as Rs20-30 and many people don't complain about it. But sometimes it is over Rs100. Uber needs to change this malpractice and be held accountable .

                            I took a ride by Uber car on 07/05/2018 and made 122.40 Rs payment by SBI credit card bot the Uber account hasn't got credited. The Uber ride is again asking for payment. Please do the needful.

                              Subject: Jacking Up price to three times at the end of travel

                              I travelled from my residence at no 110, behind metro hotel, nagarbhavi 2nd stage, Bangalore 72 to no 32, 2nd B cross, Ashwathnagar, Armanenagar, Bangalore 560006 at 9.45 pm on 23/ 05/2018 on UBER service. The fare displayed for the travel.was 296 rupees. Mr Somashekhar was the driver . At the end of journey, i was charged 894.12, which is three times the fare. Basic fare, distnace charge, time charge surcharge were all added in the bill. I think it is cooked up by the driver at the end of the journey or by UBER itself. Driver told he does not know anything, but forced me to pay and contact UBER later. I had to pay cash 894 rupees and contacted help on UBER. They have not responded yet . It is a day time robbery UBER. They should immediately refund the amount and explain and correct the mistake failing which case will be ruled in the dustict consumer forum.

                                Everytime i am facing the problem with uber that once we booked the ride, uber driver cancelled the ride.. Many times they keeps us waiting and after reaching to source they cancelled the ride... They ask us whr is the destination nd suddenly the ride git cancelled... The delay got added... Many times we r in hurry and suddenly got the pop up.
                                Also, major issue is uber is charging the cancellation amount to customer... Many times it is half the price of ride approx..

                                Why customer need to bare tht amount if their driver are cancelling the ride from their end...

                                This is highly unlikely professional nd not in the favour of customet

                                  My name is vivian mathur and i am a practicing advocate in the state of new delhi today around 1:15 pm on 23/05/2018 i was driving at speed of 30 km/h towards oxford senior secondary school in vikas puri, when suddenly an uber driver was turning without indicator from his still point and due my reflexes i had stopped the car in the neck of time and before the collision on asking the uber driving that why he was driving negligently he started misbehaving and started shouting on me and my mother, furthermore i had asked for his licence to call the authorities he shouted and when i had explained that i m an advocate he misbehaved more with no reminisce of his behavior. I feel ashamed that such reputed corporation hire people as there employees whom are disrespecting people and don't follow any traffic regulations what so ever. On trying to call the authorities he started saying that i was using my power and was not being justified. But it was due to my reflexes that the collision didn't occur and my mother is safe. I am attaching a picture of his number plate. Please ask him not behave in an uncanny manner and to be respectful towards the public and public officer. It is sheer luck that my car didn't collide and my mother is safe, but it is our duty to follow the rules so that no incidents would occur. I hope that same would be told to him and make him understand, that rules are meant to followed and being respectful to others.
                                  I have faith in uber who safeguards the right of the people where there employees try to cause harm to the people.

                                  Its minor mistakes due to grievous accidents occur and my mother was with me in my car its the grace of god that the collision didn't happen but such act is not acceptable. Please address the issue to the employee so that such act is not repeated again.

                                    We have booked uber cab on 23st monday may 2018 at around 12:30pm. I have given the google location that we usually give to all the drivers.
                                    And after booking its shows 4 mnts in pickup and once i reached to tha pickup point driver cancel the trip by their end.. And my fares are also increased by 20₹ more..
                                    The i got a second cab in 16 mnts later.. Pathetic service...

                                      On 10th may'18 evening, we took a uber trip in mumbai from thane to juinagar (In hyundai xcent with monish driver) and while booking in the app it showed, i will be charged fare of rs 510/- but they charged rs 666.66/- at the end of the trip.

                                      I protested that they cannot charge more than what the app showed to me while booking. They argued that the driver took a different route for the same. But its not our responsibility if the driver took a longer route and why should we as a customer be penalized for the same. I would not have booked if i have known they would charge a higher amount.

                                      I would request to reduce my fare to rs 510/- and refund the balance amount. Its been now 2 week since i have in touch with uber customer care and they have now stop responding to my queries. I hope for a speedy resolution.

                                        We have booked uber cab on 21st monday may 2018 at around 1.30pm. We have given the google location that we usually give to all the drivers. This is the first time a driver claims not able to locate even after giving instruction he was going on the other direction and finally without informing us he had cancelled the trip. My wife was waiting on the hot sun centre of the road for 30 mints. On top of this you had charged us cancellation charges where we have not cancelled you had only cancelled. I want action to be taken against the driver and the cancellation charges to be refunded to us or we will need to look at other options.
