Higher fare was charged on uberpool rides. Uberpool charges are supposed to be fixed, however the final amount charged was much higher than the amount displayed while booking. This happened on 11th and 12th of april 2018. I raised a complaint on the uber app and they mentioned they will check and get back, but have not received a proper response till date. I have screenshot samples indicating price shown while booking and actual price charged

    I booked a ride from greater noida to katwaria sarai, on 16th may, 2018, and the fare was 518. While on the way, i decided to change the drop point on the route to sda, which 3/4 km before my original drop point. When i applied for change of location, though it is on the route and shorter, the fare increased to 558. Though this is unfair i accepted, but when i completed the trip the fare increased to 632. This is completely unethical, the company cannot change the terms by it's own. When i complained the representative wrote back saying that the hike is because location got changed. How can their be a hike if i get down on the route 3/4 km before the drop point? I expect a refund and an explanation why such wrong business policies are being followed.

      I have booked uber go and the fare was showing 81 inr. The driver took wrong long route and charged 158. It was not my fault. I have complaint through uber app but didnot get any response. Please refund my money.

      I have also seen one thing in bangalore. Most of the time drivers are saying that ac is not working. I am paying for ac cab but donot get the facility. I think they are saying intentionally.in last 1.5 months 10-12 drivers said the same thing.

      Please take action on that.

        The above is the details of trip.
        But actually, there are 2 ways to reach my destination

        1. 1 h 10 min
        31.0 km
        Via nh 44 and nh75
        The fastest route now due to traffic conditions
        This route has restricted usage or includes private roads.

        2.1 h 21 min
        25.6 km
        Via 100 feet rd and nh75
        Heavier traffic than usual


        Now i have a question how come i have travelled 256.38 as actually, it should be 31.0 km.

        I understand there can be traffic peak hour and all cases but nowhere the bill can be ₹3, 308.26.

        Please look in into the matter.

        Even we went to police station and lodge complain of the above issues.

          Uber has recently started the following to increase their tariff / inconvenience customers
          1. Wait time will show as 2 minutes while booking, when the cab is booked the wait time shows as 15-20 minutes
          2. Rides are confirmed whilst completing another trip. This increases the wait time after booking the cab sometimes because the cabs are going in another direction for drops
          3. Cancellation fees are chargeable even i[censored] cancel for increased wait time. You have to write for refund.
          4. Multiple cancellations jack up the fare to your destination.
          5. Uber prices have increased by 2 or 3 times in thelast 3-6 months.

          They are taking advantage of the fact that customers are used to their services and the quality of service is very very poor. No customer service line is reachable, u can complain only through the app / email.

            I booked a cab from delhi to gurgaon and was expecting to reach office on time as my salary gets deducted even if we are one minute late.

            When i reached gurgaon toll, the driver parked the cab to left without even saying a word. When i asked what is that he is doing, he said he will come back in two minutes and then disappeared.

            After five minutes i called him and he said that was getting the tax deducted and was in the queue. I questioned him for not having told this to earlier and again he said "mam aa raha hu na do minute me".

            I kept on waiting for me and when he came back he behaved rudely with me saying that he shouldn't have got me in his cab and that there were many other cab drivers getting the same done.

            I felt sacked in his car as he was very unprofessional and then drove rashly.

            If this is the quality of the professionalism received from uber, it is better to take ola with whom i have no expectations of professionalism and they charge lesser than uber too.

            Its a shame!

              I cancelled my order before the restaurant confirmed the order but i forcefully had to accept the order so it was a bad service i got
              And i called the restaurant owner and he was so rude to me
              This was my first time to order from uber eats and it was a very bad experience for me and i will never recommend uber eats to any one.
              The name o[censored]ber builds trus but after this incident i am not at all satisfied . I even tried calling the helpline no. But the put me on hold for a long time so i had to cut the call and there was no option left for me rather than paying

                On 15th May 18 I booked uber pool fir my fiancee and it showed 99.52 for 12 Km. After dropping Driver ended the trip but it was not ended. After 1 hr it ended and charged 355 from my Paytm wallet. I called the driver he told it will be auto adjusted but it wasn't. Then I raised complaint over the app with all the details.Its already more than 24 hours but no one has responded or acknowledged to my issue. What usless service uber support provides. Kindly resolve it ASAP.

                  I have taken uber go ride for 8-9 km on 14th-may-18. It took only 15 mins to complete my trip and to drop at my location. I should have been charged less than rs 100 for my trip but to my surprise, my trip amount showing on app was rs 1628!! I am not able to book any ride further until i clear this amount.

                  What kind of software are you using uber team?? Do you have any resolution for your customer?? I have tried reaching out to your help page for more than 4-5 times but you are not even acknowledging it. Do you really care for your customer or just busy counting money and more money?? Huh

                  I travelled in uber on 17 th April and paid by cash, before booking i selected payment method cash. Today 11th may they deducted from my paytm account which I added yesterday to my uber account.

                  Unprofessional cheating company.

                    It's very disappointing that your driver didn't come nor informed about the fact that he won't come. Due to with i had to wait for half an hour. Such an unprofessional behaviour is not expected from a brand like uber. The worst part is the driver told me to wait and later when i called him back he didn't receive my call. I request you to take a look on the matter as i faced a lot of problem because of such irresponsible behaviour.

                      The uber driver was driving incorrectly and hit my car. He adamged teh car in tune of rs. 40, 000/-. He said he will pay rs. 3000. I called teh police on 100. Later he called his owner and then started talking about contacts in police and nothing can happen. We kept him for getting back into the car as he was wanting to run away. Just before police could arrive he pushed and hit me and ran towrds the car. We tried to stop the car but he pulled the accelator and we had to jump of[censored]nless he would have run the car over us.

                        I booked a taxi through uber, which has currently the offer of ₹10 upto 10 km.
                        So i booked it, which showed me a fare of ₹10, but mid way the taxi stopped working, because of which i had to get off mid way. Then the fare that showed the driver was ₹96.99 which is definitely more than the initial fare of ₹10.
                        Reluctantly i had to pay an entire updated fare, that to for a trip that was not even complete. I had to again take another cab because of this.
                        And the receipt showed ₹96.99 fare to me.
                        Why and for what reason?
                        When firstly the initial fare was different, when there was no waiting time or change of route.
                        Secondly the ride wasn't even completed!
                        I demand an explanation and also entire refund of my fare and the additional expense that incurred due to incomplete trip!

                          Booked a ride from airport and completed the payment using tez upi. Money got deducted and tez also confirmed successful processing. Its been more than 15 days and there is no response from uber. Multiple times i have raised my concern with screenshots as well. But uber doesnt bother to respond. They are ignoring the fact that i am a regular customer and its creating problems for me.

                            I booked an uber ride on 12th saturday 4.34pm and the charges displayed on my app as well as the driver's phone was rs 161.32. As usual i tried paying through online mode and it did not go thorough for some reason.

                            On my return trip while i tried booking the ride, the app prompted me that previous amount is due. Hence i hose the option of 'pay in cash' to the next driver. After this trip, the drivers phone showed a charge of rs 455 which i promptly paid.

                            However no in my trips option the second trip charges are being shown as rs 204.61. So if i add rs 161.37 plus rs 204.61 they should be charging me only rs 365, 98. Upon taking uo the issue with uber in the help option they say that additional rs 89.58 is charged but it is not shown anywhere in the charges for both trips. According to them the charge of rs 455.96 displayed on the driver handset is rs 161.37+89.98+204.61 = 455.96.

                            Despite paying in cash to the second driver, i kept on getting alerts from uber that a payment of rs 161.32 is due. Hence i paid that online. After paying once i again got an alert that there is a request from uber for rs 161.32. Assuming that the first payment again did not go through, i proceeded to pay and completed it. Later, upon checking my ban account i realised that rs 161.37 got debited twice.

                            Despite paying the second driver in cash and even after taking up the issue through thei help option they are refusing to refund the excess charges levied of rs 412.72 (Rs 61.37*2 + 89.98 = 412.72).

                            During my interactions with their staff on the help option i requested them to post the amount into my uber credit account so that the same can be used for my subsequent trips. Which also they refused and communicated their inability to help me.

                            Since they have collected money without a receipt and are refusing to refund it or give me credit, I would like to know if Govt. gets the GST applicable on such illegal levies. Does anyone bother?

                              On 4th May 2018 around 7.3 PM, I had booked a taxi from Cochin International Airport to go to North Paravur. The Booking OTP -3591, vehicle number - KL47C6783, Driver's name - Suneer Ah. Immediately on booking, the driver himself had cancelled the booking saying that he will not get booking on his return journey.
                              As such, I had booked another taxi. The Booking OTP - 5155, the vehicle number - KL07CF7806, Driver's name - Mr.Ginesh.C. However, he also cancelled the booking on the pretext that he will not get booking on return journey. As such, I had to take pre-paid taxi from airport by spending the double fare.

                                I had booked a complaint against uber india on 7th may 2018. Even on reminding them again and again they have not resolved the issue. They say they are looking into this matter but now they have stopped replying also. I request you to please get this issue resolved and get my refund along with the compensation. What sort of company is this which cheats it's customers and are not ready to compensate.

                                When i book a cab ..driver of cab tells me that he is coming but then he diverts my no. To another driver and then he calls me nd says that he is far away from my location so i huv to cancel my ride.nd u charge cancellation money.. this happens wid me mostly all the time..i am a doctor nd its difficult for me to wait..kindly see into the matter...

                                  I am very dissapointed with your service. Today (15 may 2018, at i booked your cab from gaffar manzil jauri farm road (Ilqa departmental store, noor nagar) to south campus. At the time of booking the charges shown were around 238-240. But at the end of the trip the charge comes to 273. Why do i need to pay more? The route was same and the traffic was also in control. And this is not the first time this has happened. I will not pay for this trip unless you show me the proper amount. And please resolve this issue in 1 or 2 days otherwise i will be forced to take strict action against uber for this unprofessional conduct.

                                      We booked uber on 13th may 2018 from croma which is in sion & we had to go at avighna park near curry road station, in the morning. The drivers name was mohamed israr, cab is maruti suzuki wagonar. Driver was late so i called him thrice but he did not pick my phone so i was standing near croma for last 15 minutes, when he came near croma we went towards the car but he himself cancelled the trip.& went. Now the penalty of rs.50.00 for cancellation is on our head but when we did not cancel the trip then why should i pay the cancellation charges in next ride as a extra. I hope you will do proper action & cancel my panelty immediately.

                                        Hi, Uber india is charging exorbitant fare since past 1 month. I tried reaching there customer care support but no response from them. Uber pool and uber go shows the same price, I have attached the screen shot. Im not sure how long they will going to charge such high fares. Every time it shows surcharge.
