On morning of 7th may, 2018, arnd 9.55 am, i booked a uber pool from passport office to my work place, using paytm as payment method. The amount was estimated as 99.52. After the trip was booked, the driver said as paytm is not being accessed for his payment, pls pay cash. As the trip was started, i couldn't change payment method in app. Nor could i cancel the trip, as i might have to bear cancellation charges, when there is no mistake of mine. So i agreed to pay him 100/- cash, as i was aware of help section in uber app (Where i hoped my compliant would be acknowledged with refund or credits).in addition, 99.52 was deducted from my paytm account. So i had to pay 199.52/- for a trip which costed 99.52/-.
I m a very loyal customer o[censored]ber since years, and have not used other cab services so far. Trust me, i m a sensible customer, and wouldn't lie for 100 bucks. This is the first compliant ever with uber.
Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Yesterday (13th May 2018)around 2 pm, i boareded an Uber cab from Bangalore Central mall to Vars Parkwood, near Adarsh Palm retreat. However, I left my Iphone 7 in the cab.As soon as i realised that i checked for my Uber receipt for my trip in my gmail, to my great disappointment i did not receive any. I also searched for your customer care number on your website and again there wasn't any. which i was surprised to see since your company deals with customers on daily basis.
Meanwhile, I have lodged a police complaint, please help me find my phone!!
