Uber is thief. Yesterday i was coming from gurgaon to karol bagh. The fare shown in the app was rs. 89 only. On the request of driver and understanding that this is some app related issue, i paid him 521. Today, i received a message from uber that driver has said that i have not paid full and hence i need to pay remaining 439 rupees. The said amount has been added as recoverable amount in account. Today again when i was travelling from karol bagh till gurgaon, driver took another route. When i asked him the reason for the same, he forced me to deboard the cab and forced me to pay for entire trip. I raised this again with uber and uber is ready to credit only the fare till that point. No compensation for the humiliation and suffering caused to the customer. Have to raise this in consumer court now.

I didn’t board the cab and the trip was started by the driver. I was in malad nd driver in Andheri. When I called driver the number was incorrect. Complained this to Uber nd they are not ready to remove the charges. It’s been more then 2 weeks. The service from is extremely poor nd unhelpful. I have contacted atleast 10 times. Disgusted with this.

    I took a trip on 14th april with my 1 year kid and my 60yrs moth-in-law. The trip was cancelled by different drivers 4 times as the location on their app was catching wrong and fluctuating.in told for this i wait for the cab almost 1 hr. After complaing about this to uber customer team the cab came and dropped me to the destination and took the cancellation charge since the trip was cancelled after so long although i had complaint that the wait time was too long. He took extra money as cash from us at the time of getting down. When i complained for the same after 2 days they said it will credited in my account but it has not been done. It is been 3 weeks now i have complaint but no one is responding. This is like a pathetic service and not expected from a site like uber. I want this to be resolved asap and compensated also for the trouble given.

      On 30/04/2018 i paid in cash to the driver charan raj in hyderabad rs 750/-, but when i tried to book another cab o[censored]ber it shows card payament of rs 641 pending and shows card payament even the driver was not sure whether to take money or not but he has taken the money. If it is card payament normally the driver tells the customer.in this case he has not told me. He asked me how much the fare was when i booked initially. I am not sure this rs 641plus change was for the ride in hyderabadon 30/04/18. The phone no of charan raj [protected]. Icannot call him it is only one way.

      There is so much inconvience regarding the time taking for the driver to arrive initially they give arrival time as 10/15 min once it comes to 3/4 min they cancel it and connect to the other driver which takes another 15/20 min so much waste of tym

        Dear team,

        You guys have charged me wrongly an amount of 42rs while your guy never turned in the location and his mobile was switched off too. The driver didn't came to the exact location and showed in my mobile as cab arrived from then I tried calling at his no. Which was contiously not reachable. Your company is cheating with passenger, I was waiting for more than 7mins. I will sue you for doing fraud.

          Hi.. I am wrongfully and forcefully being charged for a ride. I specified alot of times that the wait time was longer than mentioned.. So i shouldn't be paying for it... But i am still liable to pay the next trip i take according to uber app.. Please rectify this.. The rides date was 1/1/2018.. I have tried reaching uber but they have the worst customer service ever..

            This had happened with me for the fourth time in the past few days. As usual i booked an uber go for my office today 07.05.2018. I was shown a fare of₹254 but charged ₹ 485.77. Nothing has been done for the complaint done on 24.04.2018. For which they are saying that they are reviewing the matter. I don't understand how many days it takes to review such matters. Again today i was charged such high fare. I demand a compensation of ₹ 10000 for mentally harassing me. I request you to please look into the matter and resolve both of them.

I asked him to give back the mobile but he denying to give. I have registered compliant in uber they are not responding on this issue. There is no specific customer number for india

              I regularly use the services o[censored]ber in Indore (MP).I have two complains against Uber .on Friday 4th May 2018 ..I took a cab ..and day before I linked my Uber account with my paytm .tha total bill amount around RS 82 automatically deducted from my paytm .but I was not aware of it ...I gave cash payment to the driver ..driver did not tell me about the paytm payment ...in the same way next I took cab ..but this time the diver intimate me about the paytm payment ..kindly see the issue ...one more thing I forgot my water bottle in the cab ...I called him but he didn't return

                I booked a trip on 5th may 2018, and was overcharged on my cash trip.
                On further enquiry with the driver he told us that toll charges aren't showed as it showed ₹0 toll fee.
                And demanded ₹72 extra for the toll fee.
                Since the receipt through email is received afterwards, we had to pay him the extra amount
                But in the receipt it shows that tolls are included.
                This is really disappointing for the customer, please look into the matter ASAP.
                I also sent a help request in my Uber app, but there has been no response yet.

                  Dear uber.
                  1. This is false receipt and i did not travel this route yesterday.
                  2. I wish to make a complaint against this driver. Send me the telephone and email of your highest authority.
                  3. Please refund this rs 91.06 back in my account asap.
                  4. I cannot see my expected balance. It shows around 150rs, when it should be more than 500 rs.

                  Me and my family are regular users or uber rides and are happy with uber.
                  Yesterday incident was very bad experience and u are charging me for ride i never took.

                  Yesterday, when i booked the ride at around 9pm from my home sudarshan heights to powai. It showed me expected fare 161rs and expected wait time of few minutes.
                  But, the driver?? Imran did not reach on expected time.
                  I tried to call him, but he would not answer my phone. Time now was 9.15-9.20 pm.
                  When i tried to cancel the ride. Ur message was, i have to pay charge as the driver is on way. U will not say the amount and i did not want to pay fine (For no fault of mine).
                  After 9.20, when imran answered my call. He said, to wait for another 20 min, which i did not agree.
                  He asked me to cancel the ride and he would not agree to cancel the ride as late driver.

                  So, i took a 3 wheeler and reached powai.
                  Now, i see email and sms from uber as receipt 91.06 rs for travelling, which is not true.

                  Please refund my money and dismiss this driver immediately.

                  Driver never called me so unprofessional any thing but not this Ubery contact no. Is [protected]

                  Uber app is soo unfriendly they don't even have any contact info so that the customer reach them...whatbnon sense
                  Drivers are rude and denied to take ride because of drop location. Due to this last time i missed my flight and this also nearly i reached on time. But its habit of drivers they just say i am reaching and after mobile will unreachable or call will not picked. They wont cancel the ride as they also have to pay some fine.

                      I m a frequent traveller but its shocking as distance of 12 k. M. Which i cover twice a day and am being charged rs 120 to 130. But today i was shocked that for the same i was charged 509 less 50 discount. I hereby request/advise you to resolve and pay back the overcharged else i will be using the other platform and will highlight in the media. The kind of harassment wastage of time and above all i got too late for my meeting not because of travel but argument. Regarding bill wasted my precious time.

                        I booked a taxi for 1.15 at the ahmedabad bus station, i was given this reg number gj18az2875 and name ashish. He made us wait for 45 mins.. I rang him at least 6 - 7 times to tell him where we were waiting he eventually rang and told me he had parked outside the bus station opposite to where we were, i specifically said my mum is disabled n won’t be able to walk, he insisted we come to him.. After walking to the cab we found he had two other passengers n we were sharing the cab, i said i hadn’t booked that n there was no where for my mum to sit.. He started arguing with us and eventually jus drove off leaving us stranded. It was hot n my mum started crying as were from abroad.. I was disgusted by the service n attitude now i have been asked to pay 37 ruppees.. Wat for.. I’m not paying anything infact i should be getting compensation for being left stranded in the middle of the road with a disabled mother... Plse advise

                          I booked a ride from thippasandra to bial on 24.4.18 at 8.30 am for my wife. I didn't get the ride completed mgs. I was asked to add rs. 793 to paytm wallet. When i did this rs 2206 was debited by uber for the ride. When i complained i got the e mail with trip details. Reg fare rd 1000 and surge price rs 1206. I think it is very unfair to charge surge pricing at 120%. Uber claimed the pricing is fair. I don't agree

                            On 30th march around 7:30 i booked cab from chennai airport domestic arrival to siruseri.
                            I think app got closed or some issue, trip closed very early and showed cost of rs.100+.
                            I paid rs.450 at the destination, because app was showing close to that amount while boarding in the cab.
                            Since, i didn't get an updated receipt i requested for the bill of rs.450. But seems like when giving the bill they added that i have to pay rs.349+ in my next trip to tally rs.450 in the current bill.
                            In my next trip i was in an emergency and my wife was in severe pain and when we reached global hospital, perumbakkam the driver argued that i have to pay 349rs and even driver side customer care executive was also asked me to pay and refusing to understand my concern.
                            And, still i am writing to get back my 349+ rs after all these problems.

                              I booked a cab today he also told lik i’m on the way coming. But after 10 mins he called me and told tat here so much of traffic i can’t come on time and cancel the cab. But i saw the tracking ride he is going to reach in 1 min also the funny and angry situation is he is crossing me in after 2 mins. I didn cancel the cab and he also. After 3 to 4 his cab was cancelled and showing cancellation fee.in this case why i should pay cancellation fee. The worst thing in uber is cancellation fee. Cheating service. If he is not interested means he have to cancel my trip why the hell i need to cancel my trip and pay the cancellation fee. I decided not to use uber and also i will refer my friends and colleagues not to use uber. Suggest me to deactivate my account. I tried but some issues showing.

                                I have booked the cab from my location amrapali silicon city, sector-76, noida” to max super speciality hospital, Saket, Delhi at 13.15 hours on 04.05.2018 and fare shown through app was Rs.418.00 but surprisingly the amount deducted by uber through my paytm account is Rs.678.46.

                                i feel cheating by the uber for excess charging from my paytm account.

                                uber should review and arrange to refund the amount immidiatly.

                                  I took a ride in february from delhi airport to ghaziabad. For some reason, the payment didn’t go through. After 15-20 days, i realised that i have an outstanding payment and thus paid via my credit card. This happened around 20th march. But in the app., it still shows that i have an outstanding payment and it doesn’t let me book a ride. I have complained numerous times to uber but they tell me some random #. And now, they have stopped replying to me altogether. The app. Doesn’t let me book new rides, it shows outstanding payment even though i have already paid. It’s a #ty app, with a customer care team that sucks to the core. Their technology can’t fix simple things. I am highly disappointed and aghast at their lack of basic etiquette of replying to my tweets.

                                    I was over charged for my ride from ### airport to Cherthala on 27th April 2018 at 04:18pm initially it was show to me as 1345 which I paid but on my uber receipt for the travel its shown as 840 I informed them about the same but no positive feedback came from their side they went on as far as to say that it was a system error. It took them over 6 days to reply and that too after I repeated the complaint. And also they added that since it was a cash trip they won't be able to refund
                                    I want to ask i[censored]ber people are taking customers for granted
                                    why the error is not rectified and
                                    why to reply that refund is not possible as it was a cash trip (then you also have a question choice dedicated to cash trip) if you are not planning on giving a refund.

                                      This is an incident which happened to me. I had made a trip on uber on[protected] to the kochi airport and selected mode of payment as cash before the trip. At the end of the trip, the driver (Mr. Axxxx, uber go, maruti swift dezire, kl41l-5339) said his phone network has problem and so the charges are not being shown. So he asked me about the fare estimate shown at the beginning of the trip. It was rs.510 + 40. Rs.40 was the pending balance due to a previous trip cancellation by a driver which i had already complained to uber help. So he asked me to pay the fare estimate, so i paid rs.550 and ended the trip. Soon after i got an email showing that my trip charge as zero. So i send an email to the uber trip help and wrote that i had paid rs.550 in cash. There was no reply or acknowledgement.
                                      On[protected], i made another short trip on uber for which i paid in cash. On the next day, 26th march, i got a email stating that my previous trip fare has been corrected and fare of rs. 510 is due to uber (Reason: driver complained that the trip charge was not paid!). Again i went into the uber help for that trip and messaged that i had already paid the amount in cash to the driver, also i have given a one star rating to the driver and mentioned his false claims of non-payment. Again there was no reply or acknowledgment from uber side.
                                      Later on 4th april my phone's software crashed and i had to do factory reset of it and reinstall all the apps. I reinstalled uber app but kept it disabled.
                                      On[protected], exactly 30 days of the trip, i got a sms from paytm wallet stating that rs.510 has been deducted for a uber trip!. I was shocked and lodged a complaint with paytm order, but they replied it is deducted by uber app because the account was linked.
                                      I went back into the uber app selected the particular trip and send a complaint to [protected]@uber for that trip explaining the details. But no reply or acknowledgement.
                                      I searched the net looking for finding a customer care number o[censored]ber so that i can make a complaint, but uber does not have any customer care number in india, not is there any customer care email id!. Uber is a foreign app with no customer service in india?
                                      Points to be noted are:
                                      1) uber app has no customer care option. And query or issue to be raised is to be made only under the topics they have decided in their help section; no other issues can be raised. Uber will not acknowledge your complaint not will give any reply, don't know whether the customer queries are going to their trash folder!
                                      2) uber has local contact numbers which is only for their partners or their drivers, not for ordinary customers!
                                      3) uber has not sent me any email or sms stating they have deducted the money on[protected], the have stealthily looted the money from paytm wallet.
                                      4) uber believes their drivers more than their customers, infact they hardly bother. They just want their money.
                                      5) uber app deducted the amount even after my phone was reset and the app was in disabled state. It shows uber must be stealing users data and account information from the phone.
                                      6) this incident is a strong point to rethink on digital payments and go back to cash payment option.
                                      7) don't use foreign apps with no roots in india, they cannot be traced or legal steps not easy.
                                      8) i had selected cash payment as mode of payment for this trip. Uber after one month changed it to paytm mode and stealthily deducted money from paytm account without informing me prior or after deduction.
                                      I have attached screen shots of the uber receipts emailed to me regarding this trip.in one the corrected to charges are shown as rs.510 for 0 km ride!

                                        I am not setifice with your uber service i have book uber from baroda to ahmedabad at 999 cab came to my home driver ask me where to go i told him rannapark ghatlodia he to me you have updated wrong dastine so pls chang i told him ok h as i chang my destiny the amount got chang to 1500* then i told to driver why you have not told if you will chang your destiny the rate will get change he was just smiling and not saying any thing. I am sorry to say i will not go to you uber cab any time in future and even. Not give suggestions to to with uber cab your service is worst out of 5 star i will rate you 0. Sorry if i have told you something wrong
