Today morning at around 6.45 am i had booked a vehicle uber go for going to poona station from rasoi dining hall. I was allotted a swift dezire mh12 5667 driver's name was santosh. After waiting for almost 20/25 minutes the driver did not turn up. I was desperately trying to contact him, but initially he did not attend my call and thereafter his phone was switched off. I tried calling for almost 8/10 times.
As i had to catch a train i had no option but to board an autorickshaw and leave for station.
After more than 1 hour around 8.15 am i received a message that the driver and vehicle was changed. Immediately in a few minutes i received a message that driver has cancelled the ride and need to book again.
Now i have received a message that my payment of rs.42.50 p.
The whole experience was disgusting. I have not traveled by uber. The driver did not respond. Who is responsible? What if i would had missed by train.
Please note that i will not pay the outstanding amount as i have not availed the services. Further would appreciate if action is taking against the irresponsible driver.

    I travelled from Kandivali west to marine lines on 18th April at around 8:20 am. When I booked the ride it was showing fare from 500 - 700, so I booked it assuming the highest amount I might have to pay would be 700.
    When we reached the destination driver (Mr Khwaja) very humble and nice driver, informed us to pay Rs 1285/-. Obviously we refused to pay that amount as it was double the amount I was shown while booking the cab. He called up customer care and they said that we have to pay the amount and later they will refund it. We were not ready for the same, so I paid the driver Rs 700/- that was the highest showing me while booking it. I am writing this complaint not only because I was over charged but also to say that in this entire scenario driver had to unnecessarily bear the loss.

    I am requesting you to please pay the remaining amount to the driver and clear my account from the balance it’s showing as I have paid the highest amount showed to me.

    Me and my family are your regular passengers so I will request you to please sort this out ASAP as otherwise I won’t be able to book further cabs.

      Todat on 20.04.2018 on booking an uber cab on uber app i was shown a fare of rs. 166 but charged rs. 239 on completion of the trip. On complaining on their consumer support, the reply i got was that upon reviewing my trip they could see that the route taken was different from the gps suggested one. Hence, i was charged more than the fare displayed at the beginning. But that is not the truth. The truth is i am a regular customer o[censored]ber, i commute by uber daily. Today also the driver followed the gps route, the same route taken daily to my office, then how can they say that the route taken today was different. Kindly look into the matter and

        Hi. I booked an uber today, ie, 20-4-18. The driver accepted the trip. (His number is [protected] and his name is dnyaneshwar) after 10-15 minutes also, he did not not turn up. Also, when i tried contacting him, his mobile was switched off. After waiting for 25 minutes and no response from driver, i had to take an auto. After 10-15 minutes, the driver submitted that the trip has been completed. I again tried him several times. But he did not pick up. After an hour or so, i tried calling him from different number, he picked up and said "galti se ho gaya tha, maine uber office mein inform kar diya hai". There are no customer care numbers for the customers whrere we can call and resolve the complaints and get the money back. I have put queries 3-4 with uber, but no reply from them on any of them. Very bad quality of response. They will definitely loose customers because of this bad quality of service.

        I bought Uber pass which promises rides at flat rates. But there is no change in the ride prices. The rides are being charged the same as before buying the Uber ride pass.

          I have been charged a surge on a pool trip over the upfront fare uber showed. The driver's phone got switched off and he couldn't end the trip. As it was a non-cash trip, cash payment wasn't possible. Now i am facing a fare of rs. 106.9 instead of rs. 59.39 and uber is calling it a surge of 1.8x.
          This was my latest trip on 20.04.2018 (Friday) in the morning at 8:58 a. M.

            Yesterday night i have boarded the uber cab i have forgot my phone in the cab after that immediatly i have contacted the driver through the uber app, then driver have informed me that phone was in the cab and then he disconnected the call from then i was trying to call the driver through the app because i have forgot the registered mobile in the cab. Since then i was trying the contect the coustmer support agent through email and also tried calling to the numbers they have provided but i haven't got any response regarding the lost item till now i want consumer complaint forum to look in to my problem and help me as soon as possible.             We booked a taxi from gangai Nagar thiruvotriyur to kariyaperumal street, selavoyal. My app shows rupees 160 however the driver collected rupees 205 and showing 205 in his device.               1) cancellation charges are applied even if cancelled within 30-60 seconds while the app says you can cancel upto 5 minutes.
              2) allotment ot trip to ghost / non-existent drivers. On booking the trip the driver allotted is of 5 star rating. On further checking the app, it says that it is the driver's first trip. Then how can they give him a five star rating. When i try to call such a driver, the numer is either not in use or is switched off or is a wrong number. On cancelling such a trip, the cancellation charges are levied on me.
              3) after booking the trip, the driver starts and ends the trip from wherever he is without even moving an inch which is evident on the route map, but customer is charged. This is a frequent occurrence.in the mean while, valuable time is lost and when you book again, the surge price would have tremondously increased. They shoul pay for the inconvenience caused.
              4) after booking the trip, the driver started the trip from wherever he was without even moving an inch which is evident on the route map. I took a normal cab and went to office.in the evening when i again checked the app, the trip was still on, the car had not moved from it's place and my bill had run to more than rs 1100. Had to write repeatedly on the app to get the refund which happened after 2-3 days.
              5.) all such refunds of wrong charges do not happen unless one has to write on the app atleast 5-6 times.

                The driver was highly unprofessional, disrespectful and impolite. There was an issue with the cab door which my father informed the driver. The driver shouted at my father and cancelled the ride. He then abused my father and came out of his car to fight with him. He was such a rude guy. Such attitude of drivers are not expected. It feels like its so unsafe to travel with your company. I want you to take strict action against the driver so that such things are not repeated in future. I also think there should be some call center numbers listed where we can call and register complains.
                Uber is running there business and they don’t care about the customer complains, what they care about is making money.

                  Grievance officer Uber., I took booked ride from Mob: [protected] at around 11.30 PM on 22 Feb 2018 from Lucknow Charbag Railway station to Aliganj BSNL rest house I was new to Lucknow. I was going to Lucknow for the first time therefore I was not knowing the roads & actual distance. From internet I could see the distance is around 9 KM. The driver Mr.Ashok Kumar picked us in around 5/7 minutes after booking. He said us he is also not familiar to that area still he took us. The person who was staying BSNL rest house were also new to lucknow & had reached there around 3 hrs.before us. So they were also not able to guide driver. The driver took us to location & said this is the location. We called to our relative & asked to give phone to watchman to guide driver. Till that time when they went down to & contact to watchman the driver said he is getting another booking & took us to BSNL Quarters around 750 meters from my location & went. At BSNL Quarters he dropped us unwillingly saying he is getting another booking so we have leave him at around 12.05 hrs. On the way around 100 meters away to where he dropped us we sow a SBI ATM, I asked driver to ask him about my location but he did not stop taxi. He charged us Rs200 as against Rs.144.50. ( No receipt was given )
                  In the mid night at around 12.15 no one was on road to ask. I & my wife had to walk to SBI ATM during walking with lauge we got call from relative’s watchman. Till that time we reached to SBI ATM. We arranged both the watchmen ( ATM & BSNL ) to talk with each other. BSNL watchman came to take us to SBI ATM & this way we reached safe to our destination.
                  Now I want my Rs.200 back. I am not asking any thing extra tor the inconvenience. I will wait for your reply till March end. If I do not get satisfactory reply & my money back I will post this complaint on social media & lodge complaint to consumer forum
                  The complaint which was sent to Uber to Grievance officer on 15 March 2018.The reply received is as below “Hi there, We're sorry. You’ve contacted an address that does not accept incoming email. We’re not monitoring questions through this email address and this request has not been received by our support team. We'd love to help out if you have an issue. Please submit your request by tapping “Help” in the Uber app or by visiting(l(link: http://help.ubhelp.uber.comi from a web browser. There you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions and have the option to submit a support request.”
                  Letter on I got mail ID o[censored]ber head office o[censored]S. The same complaint was sent to them but the result was the same.Than I posted complaint Facebook & Twitter.As expected they denied my complaint. After long communication for about one month they credited Rs.144.50 to my Uber A/C. which is of no use to me & it has been informed to Uber. I told them to refund me by other way except Uber as after having I will not use Uber service in future. Which they have refused by saying this is against our policy. I wrote them refunding through any other way is not in your policy but is it in your policy dropping customer to not requested place & that too in midnight new place to senior citizen of 70 year ? They not yet replied.
                  I asked them in my case to refund other than Uber A/C not in your policy but to droop customer on not safe and unwanted place is in your policy to a senior citizen of 70 years of age that to in mid night. Crediting Rs.144.50 means forcing me to use Uber service again. After having such experience I will not use Uber service. Now I want my Rs.200 + Rs 5000 to words my compensation for the trouble & tension I had on 22 Feb 2018 other than Uber A/C.

                  The complaint is yet not resolved and will not be get resolved till Uber do not pay back Rs.200 through any other way except Uber Account as after having such experience no one will use Uber Service.

                    My account was debited thrice for an amount of Rs 42/- from your end although i had cancelled the uber service only once and please delete the provision of auto deducting from paytm. i have not linked my account with uber or have given you permission to deduct from my paytm account without my consentand morover I had paid the cash in 14 APR 18 / 03:09 PM Paid for Order Paytm Cash Txn ID #[protected] - Rs 99 UBER Order #a145a6927c043d30b9fdb8068eb22a0 and the driver did not refund me the amount of Rs99-

                    IN A NUTSHELL, you had deducted the excess amount of 42*2=84 +99= 183. so please remit me the amount and delete my account from auto paytm mode

                      I had requested for a ride from my home to office at 2.30pm yesterday with uber pool on 18th april 2018 because my shift timing in office is 3'o'clock. I saw all those things in gps. He dropped his last ride near my location. And when he was going to far from my location then i called him and he said that he had a droped of phase7 whenever i checked that no one was having ride with him. I saw his location of near ram darbar around 2.50pm, then i had tried to reach him so many times but every time he disconnect my call. And then i had canceled that ride again requested for new ride. And i was reached my office at 3.10pm was marked abscent. And i have lose of rs2000 only for this ediot person. I want to my reversal from his end any how. Why do you hire those type of rider who does not know about the importency. Please take an action against this person and reversal of rs 2000. And i also want to a strict action and abscond his service from uber. And please do not pay him for this week charge. Please check this and i will wait your responce till 48 hra then i will have to esclate this issue in consumer court as well.

                        Hello, i booked an ride on 3/2/2018. Driver cancelled the ride and now i am charged cancellation fee. Kindly return my money in my uber account or tell the next driver to return me in cash. Howsoever suits you. Take some strict action regarding this. I am sure you will understand my problem. This issue of driver cancelling the ride even when i had a word with him, he said he is on the way and the next moment i saw he cancelled the ride. Horrifying experience. And now i have to those charges to next driver unnecessary. Very disappointing. 😐😐

                          I have booked a cab from chrompet to pattabiram on 18/04/2018 around 9 pm for my wife, in-laws and grandma. We got the chevrolet enjoy (Driver phone no:[protected]). Driver's behaviour was very dude during the journey and drop them on the road which is 300 meters away from my home. Reason, which he said, was that the dropped location was not exactly pointed near my home so i can't drop at my home. Considering the fact that three ladies in the cab (Age of my grandma is around 80) and around 10.30 pm, he should have dropped them into the home instead of dropping them on the way. When i request him to drop them at my home, he spoke like anything which i have never experienced any of my previous trip uber. Is this way you trainer your cab driver to treat your valuable customer. I need a reply from you for this unprofessional from your cab driver.

                            Hi, The cab aggregator Uber is doing unethical and unprofessional practice while charging their customers. This is the incident from Bangalore where Uber had issued a notice about launching of Ride Pass for the customers last week (10-Apr-18 approx.) which promises to charge a flat fare Rs.139/- for UberGo & Rs.49/- for Uber Pool service across Bangalore city. It doesn't mentioned any Km or Time limit applicable for this type of pass. After purchasing this pass with a hope of flat fare for each trip I'm ending up with even more fare than the actual fare shown during the time of booking. The distance I traveled is around 7-8 Km and usually prefer Uber Pool as its showed price as Rs.49/- while booking. During the trip they don't show any modify the route or fare but soon after I got down from the cab it charged Rs.68/- from my Paytm wallet. While reviewing the trip receipts I realized they had charged an undisclosed as overcharged/surcharged for the trip. This happened almost 4-5 times with me. During booking and trip all looks as promised but soon after trip ends they forced passengers to pay extra fare. This is really disgusting, frustrating & unacceptable from trusted organization like Uber. I had tried to reaching out to Uber customer support many times but they all turned down my complaint and pretend this as some issues at my end. I really wanted this unethical practice should stop immediately and Uber should refund the hidden extra charge to their customers. No more exploiting please. Thanks!

                              I booked a ride through uber for coming back from market to home in Pune. While fixing the ride on smart phone the charge was shown as 107 and hence ride was confirmed whereas when I reached home the driver was claiming RS 164. On speaking with customer care (Amit) he tells the driver that it is his responsibility to collect money from customer instead of resolving the problem for the customer. The indifferent attitude shown by the staff o[censored]ber is shameful and unacceptable. The driver told me that such thing had happened with him in past also. This shows that there is some serious problem with functioning o[censored]ber. But Uber doesn't seem to be interested in resolving it instead is troubling customers. This will surely leave a bitter taste among the customers as it has done in my case. It is a request that the case be taken seriously and action taken to resolve the issue.

                                Hi Uber Team,

                                This is regarding trip booked on 18 April-18 at 14:19. Driver Laxman with vehichal HR57A3253 (Swift Dezier) let us wait 1 hour as he accepted return trip for same customer whom he was dropping, then after 1 hour he stopped picking calls and we were diverted to another driver and best thing is that Uber asks for cancellation charges when we cancel it after 1 hour of waiting period. My father who is a patient did wait for 1 hour and finally had to hire an auto. This is not the first incident with Uber, please take appropriate action against drivers with these kind of attitude.

                                  On 14/04/2018 i booked a uber car at about 9.30pm. And received the car no. And driver name. After few mts. The driver ring me and asked for destination where we will go. I said accordingly. But after that a cancellation message received by me from the driver end. After that i booked another uber car and reached our destination. But surprisingly i paid rs.47.25 extra for cancellation charge inspite of cancellation occured by your end. Please look into the matter and refund the amount rs.47.25. Thanking you.

                                      Actually we had left our phone and money in that cab then after some time we had realised that our money and phone are in cab wa had called him and said that money and phone are in cab then he said that give 500 and take your property and ur property are in dullapally and we had fought a lot thebn he had took 300 and gave our phone and money the cab driver name was y. K. Swami and his phone number was [protected] he had talked so rashly also

                                        I had booked a cab from rmv 2nd stage, nagashettyhalli to yeshwanthpur railway station. The expected fare was rs.105. The cab driver dropped to the destination specified, but the destination was changed in the app and he charged us rs. 361. The ride time is 16 minutes and it says distance travelled is 28km which is impossible.
