Respected sir,

This is to bring to your notice that there is no uber service in deralakatte, mangalore.

There was an incident which occured two months back where i had called for an uber cab in mangalore city and the driver refused to drop me in deralakatte and i had to get down the cab which was very annoying. There are no uber cabs in and around deralakatte and no way of getting to city via cab.

Since it is a place where many medical colleges are located, the demand for transport to mangalore city is high.

Kindly look into the matter and take an immediate action.

    I booked a trip for the airport on 19 mar 17 for the next day and was told to expect a bill of 915 - 1221rs.
    The pickup point was rustam bagh road, old airport road, bangalore and the destination was kia (International airport)

    On reaching the destination (Kia)... The charge was 6366rs.

    I was told i had to pay the amount. Later on, after complaining they said that they had a gps issue and the bill was now 2047.90rs and the excess which i had paid will go to uber credit i. E rs 4318.
    I want my cash refunded but they are not agreeing. After a terrible experience i am not keen on using uber.

    No resolution in sight...no way to contact them... messages on Twitter etc are been ignored by uber
    No resolution till date...all messages are ignored. They told that they would get back but nothing till date

      I booked my cab uber pool from sector 76 noida. On call he refused to take the pick up and did not cancelled the ride either. It is showing that he has reached to his pick up location but refused to drop me at my drop location.in this case if i cancel the ride i will b charged for cancellation.
      What sort of issue is this?

        This thing has become very common these days. Uber drivers give u a call and ask u ur destination. On knowing ur destination they wud ask u to cancel the trip or they themselves cancell. This leads to loss of time. It has happened many times with me. I have complained many times to uber bt only god knows if they take any action or nt. Uber is fast becoming auto service of delhi who always refuse ur drive. Uber already charges premium for rides. I wonder abt their declining standards.

          Today at 6.20 in evening i have booked uber. My fon no is [protected]. The driver is almost there (1 mint) away from location. He is not able to come at location.. When i called him his no was busy repeatedly.. Lastly he picked and ask me about my destination and after that cancelled ride.. It was very embarrassing after 15 mnt of waiting he cancelled and charged 42 rs.. Please guide your driver not torturing customer

            I had booked an uber taxi on 13th march, 2018 at 8.43 pm in chandigarh to take me to the hospital 'pgimer. I was assigned a car license plate: pb01b3251 with the driver by name of mr satinder pal singh. He refused to the me to the hospital and insisted on cancelling the booking. I was much distressed and that night my relative expired in hospital. This amounts very poor service.

            Driver was abusive and shouting and asked me to change the location of pick up. Didn’t pick up my phone and then started shouting and abusing me that I am making him wait while as per the Uber map I was at the right spot. An amount was deducted from my account unnecessarily as well

              Today in the morning i booked uber for my mother. The uber drivers kept on cancelling, irrespective of the fact that i called them and confirmed my location. They kept on answering the destination and then cancelled. Consequently, my mother was late for school. This is highly unprofessional and intolerable. This is happening for quite sometime. Today was the first day when no uber car accepted our trip.

                I had booked a cab today around 12:08 and i was tracking the cab on app. At 12:15 driver cancelled my request and i was charged cancellation charges. The driver did not even come to my location and i waiting exactly at my pickup location. When driver has cancelled my trip why am i charged money. This is second time i am facing this issue.
                Earlier i was waiting in my pick up location for almost 1 hour and driver was not reachable on phone also. So i took another means of transportation. When i reached my destination i received a call from uber driver and i cancelled the request and again cancellation charges.
                I feel like we should not even rely on uber services

                  This has referance to my complaint dated 23.12.2017. The complaint is not yet resolved. Dissatisfied with the non-response i have not availed the service for next 2 months.

                  The subsequent uber trip was on 06.03.2018 from my home at thykoodam at 12.54 pm to chakkaraparambu at 01.08 pm. According to your mail now sent to me, the fair to be collected is only rs. 40.80. But the driver of the vehicle collected rs. 103/- from me stating that the charge billed for that trip was rs 103, which included rs. 63 on account of the cancellation charges in respect of the saturday tour stated in your mail.

                  The saturday tour under consideration refers to my requisition made on 23.12.2017 early morning for a trip to # airport. On contacting the driver concerned after considerable time of booking, he refused to come to pick me up stating that he has some inconvenience and that i may cancel the request and make fresh booking. After considerable delay, i had no other go but to cancel the request and make alternative arrangement to proceed to the aerodrome. Hence i made the complaint to you on the same day. I am not satisfied with your reply then sent.

                  It will be seen that the extra charge of rs 63 collected from me on account of the "cancellation charges" is not yet waived or adjusted in your future billing. If at all any cancellation charge is payable, it should be levied from the concerned driver who refused to come on 23.12.2017 in response to my call.

                  On 01/03/2018, I booked Uber cab on share. The booking was confirmed by the cab and I waited for 15 mins. The driver cancelled the booking and the cancellation fee is reflecting on me. This is the second time I am facing this issue from this cab provider.
                  We cant able to reach them by phone as we do for the other providers.

                    From my last three to four journey with uber i had very bad experience. One driver dropped me middle way where i can't get any other transportation. He was so rude & his behaviour made me unsafe. And then when i booked another time the driver drove the car dangerously & when i paid to him the charge was 78 rs... I gave him 500 he didn't give me change.
                    The driver who dropped me middle of journey he was very with me & my copassanger & you can check it out with my co passanger also & i was not aware about mumbai city he dropped me middle of my journey where i can't get any public transportation, i had to walk 45 minutes then i got a auto.
                    I am gonna lodge the complaint against your service & harrassment, unsafe, i will claim 1, 00, 00, 000 you should check drivers & the name what we got & real name & cars are different. How can a girl trust on your services. These things happening many times but i avaoded but in stranger city unknown city it is his responsibility but there is no call or anything from uber side too.

                      Took uber from mumbai's t2 on 8-2-18. @ parking desk driver made me pay. Just out of airport, he stops cab at vakola & goes away 5 mins. Complained on uber help with 3 specific questions - what to do when driver insists passenger pay? What to do when driver stops & goes away for 5 mins? What is effectiveness o[censored]ber's procedure in such cases for errant drivers? Standard reply - no refund possible since payment above meter not considered. Nothing on my specific questions. Persistent queries elicits response that it is being transferred to an expert team. No revert from expert team for 8 days. Today took up again. Same standard reply - payment above meter not considered for refund. Nothing on my questions. Also, their reply shows "no response required" on top & "resolved" at bottom. Again asked how they can close as resolved when i, as complainant, am not satisfied. Same response from standard template - sorry for inconvenience, we understand your inconvenience but cash payment over meter not considered for refund and that action proposed to be taken against driver, effectiveness of their process cannot be disclosed due to privacy issues. No response nor matter resolved.

                        Dear customer care,

                        We have experienced many a time that after booking your cab, it shows that cab will reach us within 4 min., but waiting time starts increasing gradually. When we call up driver, he replies where do you have to go and then replies that he is very far from the pickup location so we should cancel the trip and assures that we will not be charged. As a traveller we usually do not have any option other than cancelling the trip and booking once again.in next booking uber charges between rs. 40 to 50 as a penalty of cancellation of last trip. Once customer is denied service from your end it is very unjustified to charge from customer after wasting their precious time. Seeking for an early action from your esteemed organisation.

                          I had hired an uber cab from chennai fort to chennai marina lighthouse on 17 march 2018 at around 15: 30 hrs. It was a tata indigo car, the number being 1589. I had dropped my phone inside the cab accidently and had got off without noticing it. It was only after few minutes that i realised this and tried calling my cell from my friend's cell immediately but it was switched off. This was very unusual as my cell had 65% charge. I cannot reach the driver as the cab was booked from my phone. The next day, at 6.00 my friend received a text stating that my jio number is available. She tried it but by the time it was switched off again.

                            I have been trying to reach uber since morning, but all my attempts are futile, i'll reach out to consumer forums to have a dedicated rider support no for any issues. Every help options are tied with mobile no, but i lost my phone and all your self help options are gone. I'm from my chennai and below is my story, please forward it to concerned team if this is not relevant to you. I need to contact the driver about the lost mobile.

                            I'm surprised that you don't have any direct number for customer service. I have lost my mobile in cab last evening, my mobile no is [protected]. The cab no i remember is ending 8642. Can you help me contact the driver. You can reach me on [protected], if i don't hear back from uber, i'm going to raise a consumer complaint in web and police station for not providing proper guidelines for customer service complaints. Looking forward for your co-operation in resolving this

                              This is the third time i am trying to get my complaint across because the first two attempts were completely ignored by uber. On 3/3/2018 i took an uber pool from shakespeare sarani to vivekananda road. First of all, the driver did not drop me off at my location and i had to walk a bit. And secondly (And more importantly) my fare was rs. 59 and i gave him rs.100. He said he will transfer the change through paytm as he did not have change at the time. I called him the next day and reminded him to which, he assured he would transfer on the same day. It has been more than 2 weeks and i have neither heard from him nor from uber. I had made a complaint on 4/3/2018 as well as again recently within the last week, but to no avail. Will sue uber legally if complaint is ignored again!!!

                                Team, i lost my box in the cab on 6th march 2018 and the uber support called and mailed me on 9th march that i can collect the box from delhi office at the address mentioned in the mail. But when i reached the uber office i discovered that the police officials had sealed it in february 2018 itself. See attached snapshot.

                                Now neither the cab driver is picking my phone nor am i getting any response from uber customer care. Request you please escalate this so that i can get my box back.

                                  driver had cancel the trip after 20 minutes

                                  Yesterday i booked uber to chandranagar, paladi, ahmedabad.
                                  Driver gave me missed call from his unregistered number after few minutes, when i called to that number driver told that you cancel your trip. I said i can wait until you come, than he asked me to wait and than after he cancelled my trip. I lost my half an hour in the process and felt cheated. Please let me know what kind of action you are going to driver.

                                  I am facing difficulty while making uber payment through paytm or credit card. On enquiry from uber support team, i was being told that due to security issues my account has been temporarily blocked and only on looking into my usage o[censored]ber services, same shall be unblocked.

                                  My usage o[censored]ber services can be checked from your records. Even though a person is booking uber cab for the first, why online payment option is not available?. If this is a company's policy, you are requested to show the same. At this point of time, when our great prime minister mr. Narender modi is insisting so much on digitization, your company is not providing this facility to everybody.

                                  Why i am being deprived of the cash back facility, the companies like paytm or credit card are offering while making use of them.

                                  You are therefore requested to look into the matter and resolved the issue at the earliest.

                                    Last week saturday, i've booked a share trip in uber, driver reached the destination and asked where was the trip, i've told that its royapuram, chennai, suddenly he told me not to get in the car, as he don't want to go to that route, as being a physically challenge person, i was so much affected on this behavior, next few minutes a message came that it was 30rs penalty for me from uber, is it the way to treat the customer?                                       Herewith i am complaining about services provided by uber. On 3rd february, i got a hostile answers from ur driver when i was booking a car from chembur to bkc.
                                      In spite of being penalized to pay 47rupees, which i am ready to pay, still i cannot book the uber cab. Please rectify this matter at the earliest, as being a doctor, i am needed to provide services at dylan's patil hospital, nerul tomorrow morning. Hoping for ur quick response and rectification of the problem. Thanks.
