This isn't the first time that i have been overcharged for my trip. Has happened several times before and despite me having messaged uber many a times, they paid no heed to it. I am wondering what if the same happened to someone who can't afford to pay the fare or is poor? How can you'll cheat your own customers! This is totally unethical! Also when i requested the drive to call the representatives, they were extremely rude and so was the drive! Immediate action must be taken against uber for cheating their customers!

    My nane is biplab das and contact no. Is [protected] and i am regular user o[censored]ber. Today morning at 5 am my trip was pre scheduled but 3 (Three) tines driver cancelled my trip after knowing the destination (Howrah station). At last by miracle i got the train but it was complete harassment and unethical behaviour by the drivers by cancelling the trip why they will ask dedtinayion?? Why 3 times driver cancel the trip? If i missed the train how uber to hold responsible?? Need a revert and serious action against all the drivers.

      Worst service from uber they play lot with the uber share. Very poor coordination of routes taken worst ever service confusing customer to the core you can't understand the share strategy and no driver is educated to explain you the same because they are also confused. Its a worst play with customers time, patients, poor routs and so. Its time uber removes it's share service. I was once to be dropped at guindy but i had to share in to drop ashok nagar and then back to guindy it's a stupid follow route. Never rely on uber share they have their own rules and confuse customer.

        I booked an uber pool cab from kala kendra, s. V. Rd, malad at 1:19pm. After a wait of about 18 mts., got a message saying the driver cancelled & when i attempted to book another taxi i was debited rupees 47.25 for the cancellation. A) uber makes u wait, then cancels the trip without the courtesy of rebooking/alternative. I'm sure this sort o[censored]nprofessional system is acceptable (Irrespective of our sr citizens status) from any organisation. B) i attempted to book another taxi from my wife's phone. Waiting time was approx about over 15mts. On calling the driver, he was extremely rude & refused the trip.
        Is there any solution for such business?

          Uber cab drivers are highly irresponsible. They suddenly cancel the booking as and when they like that too after keeping the customer waiting for a long time thus leaving the customer in great trouble. This arrogant behavior of such drivers requires strong action against them and even immediate cancellation of contract with them. Uber or any other cab operation is permitted by the government with the condition that they shall provide comfortable service to the customer and not to provide mental discomfort.

          This is a general complaint after facing lot of trouble by my son. However i shall submit the particular cases with cab nos. And drivers name.

            This was not the first time, a driver canceled a trip after asking me the destination and making me wait for 15 minutes. I tried calling him a number of times and he did not pick up and i was charged for the cancellation, which absolutely isn't fair. Though i get back the money after the complain, the time i waited for absolutely nothing was what brought me here to complain.

            The drivers canceling should be charged or at least have the courtesy to pick the call and inform.

            If no action is taken against such cases, i'm sure i would go to higher authorities and stop using such unreliable apps.

            Received promocodes 3 times during feb 18
            but when i apply it none worked
            the codes are publicity stunt or fake or just fraud

              This is the worst part o[censored]ber.. Even i had faced similar kind of situations above and was charged due to the negligence of driver not arriving on time or sometimes not responding to calls.. Mostly during midnight hours when such drivers not respond we can't wait for them to come on their time.. So we have to cancel and book another cab and for these things uber charges penalty from the customer due to drivers fault..

                  I am a regular customer o[censored]ber since 2014 till date. I have saved my debit card details on uber application (For emergency use) though i never used the payment mode of debit card from the application. Someone from bank reached me up on 7, feb as they referred that my card has been clone from uber and there were some unauthorized transaction from it. When i inquired about the issue in bank they told me about the transactions were made via uber for about 7000 inr. Bank officials also provided me with the transaction details for the particular date. Thereafter i complained about the whole issue with uber on 9th feb, but there is no response from them as whenever i tried to contact them through help/support via application, they put a auto-generated text in revert firstly. But later till date there is no action taken by uber for this issue and also they are not reverting for any of my query now. As a respectable citizen i once tried that the company will understand and will help me out of the problem but it had gone opposite totally. They are misleading and making me a fool for almost a month. I am very much disappointed with the response from the uber for my issue. They wasted a lot of my valuable time in having a conversation with them, in searching for they customer care number which is not provided to the customers. I want to know who is to be blamed for this and to whom i can ask for a refund and they wastage of time this issue has done.

                    I booked a cab to go l v p hospital a cab. At the eleventh hour ie., just before the scheduled arrival the driver informed that the ride cancelled and i have to book another cab.
                    As i have to be on appointed time at the hospital i booked another cab and gone there behind the time. And on completion of my xamination and prescription i took another cab and returned safely home.in both ways i chosed another service provider because of the experiance with uber cab.
                    To my astonishment when i wanted to use uber nextday. I saw a message that i have to pay rs.47 which i have to yesterday's cancellation charges by the driver.
                    Even now i am unable to under stand the demand.
                    Please clarify this type of harrasment lest you will loose a regular rider.

                      what is the support number? We didnot cancel the trip. We waited for more than 20 mins. Its uber's issue.

                      we didnot cancel the trip. Please ask your regarding this trip. If not please teach them and train them. Where is ur office in hyderabad? What is the customer care number? I need complete explanation on this. Please escalate this to urr manager/sr manager regarding this.

                        Hi uber,

                        This is really embarrassing that your drivers do not follow your protocol. I took a drive from charak bhawan jaipur to khatipura jaipur and i was supposed to be charged rs. 141 but the driver took a long route which i opposed to as well but he still continued and the at the end of the trip charges me rs 190 and also called me names and misbehaved with me.. I gave him money and asked him to go because he was creating mess in my locality. I also tried reaching customer care but you people have no working customer service number. The driver was he'll bad. But this is ridiculous and i want my money back uber otherwise i'l complain against you in consumer court. This was really defaming, people in my area started asking why the driver was calling me names. I m attacking the details of the driver.

                          Uber does not check the gender of the passenger while assigning the co-riders in the uber share ride. Uber has all information related to passengers gender and it will be an easy check for them to assign the 4 passenger based on already travelling passengers, it just seems to be uber's dont care attitude towards customers despite all the cab incidents happened so far in india.

                          This is the 3th time that this happened to me, providing details in the descending order of occurence
                          1. Date:[protected] kasavanahalli to garuda mall bangalore: uber already had 3 passengers when car came to my location - one female rider on front seat and 2 male riders in the back seat. I had cancelled the ride.
                          2. Garuda mall to kasavanahalli bangalore:there were two lady passengers in the share ride - one in the front seat and myself in the back seat. Later two male passengers joined the ride. Luckily the other female rider got down 5 mins later and i have moved to front seat.
                          3. Garuda mall to kasavanahalli bangalore: i was travelling around 6:30 pm and there were already two passengers in the car and i was sitting in the back seat and then two more male passengers were assigned. I got down the cab near jakkasandra as i was not comfortable and that too it was already dark outside.

                            Hi,

                            Yesterday i booked shared cab at around 1.45pm for droping me to shivalik, new delhi from saket district court, new delhi and amount to be charged was shown rs. 39. Driver named mehboob (Mobile number [protected]) picked me up from saket district court and dropped me at shivalik. I asked him to end the trip and left the place. At 3.09pm i got message that rs. 430.14 has been debited from my paytm account in favour o[censored]ber. I checked my uber app it showed that my trip was ended in gurgaon sector 62. I was shocked to see amount wrongfully debited from my linked paytm app. I called up the driver. Upon realising that i called him for this trip that i never booked or travelled he disconnected my call. I tried his number many times but he didn’t respond my call. Driver's uses number [protected] which is under the name of khurshed umera as per true caller. I also demand a strict action against the said driver for cheating me for wrongful gain.

                              I booked an uber from lokpriya gopinath bordoloi international airport till my home location at around 7:30pm on the 10th of march 2018. After reaching near my lane, he refused to go forward and drop me till my home. It was already 8:30pm so i asked him to drop me till my gate. He got down from the car and told me why don't i walk till my home. I said him, if he doesn't drop me till home, i won't be paying a single penny to him. At this, he took out my luggage and threw it in the middle of the road. I calmly told him to pick up my luggage immediately. Around that time, some local people gathered nearby and he started going to every person accusing me of being in the wrong. He threatened me to call the police, so i made a call to the emergency and i received a call immediately from uber asking me to narrate the entire incident. After i shared with them the entire scenario they assured me that some action will be taken against the person. I don't know if any action will be taken against that person or not because they didn't promise me to communicate about it with me. This is not the first time that something of this nature has happened to me neither am i the only person to face such harassment from the local uber drivers. They may have apologized for the incident but the mental trauma that i had to suffer from this incident cannot be wiped out by a simple apology. I strongly recommend a change in their recruitment policy because when we hire an uber or any other cab company we do it with utmost trust on the companies reputation for taking care of their customers well being and safety. But when incidents like such happens it shatters that level of trust. We pay hefty amounts for such services and therefore have the right to expect basic services in return. It is disappointing and appalling when even that right is taken away from you. Therefore, i request you to please look into the matter seriously!

                              If you are leasing Cars which are availed by Bank Finance; you must see that the payment must reach to the concerned Bank and not any other Bank. Due to this the loan account goes in overdues and Borrower diversifies funds and in turn you loose customers and vehicles.

                                Now a days uber is over charging very frequently and when it comes to refund they are not responding and not refunding.in today's case they say their was deviation due to which i was charged additional but there was no such deviation and it was one straight road the destination. Even then uber charged additional money for reason. This is the 2nd case which is unresolved and they are not bothered to resolve. I am looking forward to get help to resolve

                                  Driver name kuldeep. Phone number [protected]. I book a ride from safdarjung hospital and the told the driver to wait for 15 minutes then i go back from. Pick up point to carry my relative from hospital who had been gone through operation surgery, it took me around 15 minutes. And the driver cancel cancel my ride, without making me any contact. I was at pick up point with my patient, i want you to take reasonable action against the driver. Please contact me at [protected]

                                    On my recent trip from biju patnaik airport to sailshree vihar usually costing 370 inr on prepaid taxi, i was charged 493 inr by uber taxi that night when i booked not knowing ubers deceitful policy and overcharging habit. The driver was extremely rude saying this is between u and uber and had asked me the charge when i boarded the taxi since the fare hadnt shown up while confirming the booking - and then charged 493 shouting i would have to pay this up or else he will call pcr van!! Also he charged saying that i am hiding money in my purse... Uber is atrocious in its pricing and is also secretive abt then actual price... Really recommend that no one should take uber and uber should be taken down strictly by the indian govt and policy agencies to regulate their unruly behavior of drivers and oust them off every country and stop theior loot and overpricing

                                      Booked a cab from orchid hospital and with me a patient was also there. Driver on the first call started asking where do you need to go and i said palam, please come urgently. On the second call he again asked where exactly in palam and i was irritated with his behaviour. I told he will come to know when the ride will start. He was not at all ready and started speaking rudely stating drivers are also human and we will not go where it is not feasible for him. I already waited 10 mins outside in the scorching sun along with a patient and that driver cancelled the ride. Why do drivers irritate customers with their annoying questions. If they do not want to drive, then should stop driving and sit at home. Otherwise uber has to develop a system so that drivers get their desired routes only. It is not the first instance which occured to me. Everytime drivers keep asking such stupid questions and cancel the ride. Waste of time waiting and get late in reaching where i have to go. Todays driver name was vikram.

                                        Hello,

                                        I had booked a cab+on 30/01/18 from bhiwandi to bhandup. I was shown charge of 313 approx. But after the trip the charge shot upto 500. I got down before the actual drop point. Now the problem here is the new changed drop point was 1 km before the actual drop point. So i would like to raise this question who charge 185rs extra just because the passenger got down just 1 km away from actual drop point?

                                        Inspite of repeated attempts to uber customer care all i get is automated replies and they are not bothered to solve the query. Hence i would like to file a complain against uber for overcharging me & causing mental harassment inspite of me repeatedly asking to sort out my query they just kept imposing their decisions that the charges are fair.
