My phone no [protected]. Today morning i booked under uber-pool for a trip at 9.35 am. He was not coming till 9.38 am and i called him four times to find out whether he is coming o not. He was not picking up the phone at all. I could see the vehicle static at indira nagar. Because of this i had to miss an appointment. Please recredt the cancellation amt.

    Resolution required : to dismiss driver from call taxi service, cancel license for 1 year. Legal action on uber to pay for my mental agony

      I m complaining regarding a issue with uber driver. We booked a pool option from sector 22b to 46a chandigarh for 2 peoples and one of them was patient on wheel chair. Driver cancelled trip jst because pool doesnt carry wheel chair. Where these rules are written when customer is booking a cab.?

        I use uber twice in my life. First in lucknow when i was overcharged and uber apologised and refunded some amount.
        Secondly in delhi. I booked uber cab for a 75 years old gentleman and with my uber credit and discount applied i should have charge 125 rupees. The driver charged 299 and i received an receipt of 125.
        Despite my written complaint, there is no response. After few days when i checked, i was advised to wait as the matter is sent to team who handles such cases... How long they take to answer back i do not know.
        I want my over charged money back and i will do namaste to uber for always...

          On 4.4.2018, i booked a cab and got confirmation for trip from jeet / pb65ak8119 at 11:26 am / [protected] and than suddenly he cancelled trip by saying that he already booked someone else than again i booked a cab and got confirmation of trip from harvinder / pb01b3227 at 11:29 pm / [protected] and he again cancelled by saying that no mood of going that side (My destination) and than i booked a cab, while booking ur app showed that a sum of rs 42/- will be charged of cancellation.
          Now this is something ridiculous, i was standing outside my home for 20 minutes and ur drivers cancelling my trip after confirmation of their own and why should i bear the charges.
          Very bad experience of all this thing.

          Hope u will not make this kind of mistake again and take charge from these kind of drivers and cab who is ruining uber image

            1. I placed a booking for a sedan for my travel from wakad (On the pune-mumbai highway) to mumbai on 23 dec 17. The intial contact name was mahadeb but driver as well as the car changed. Mr yogesh turned up with a cng hatchback with nil storage space. With seats cramped with luggage, the three o[censored]s + driver commenced the journey at 1302h planning to make it in time for checking in at 1640h for a flight out of mumbai.
            2. After starting off, the driver insisted upon filling up cng and left us with no other option. The halt at the filling station took about an hour due to issues with the gas station, which could have been solved if he could take the car on petrol, but he didn't take the option.
            3. After arriving at the airport with hope of providential flight delays, the driver demanded an arbitrary amount for payment, in excess of the rs1800 billed by uber. I had no time to waste in continuing with the argument and told him i would settle with uber.
            4. The consequence of this unprofessional approach by the uber driver was that we missed our flight from mumbai to trivandrum, for which i took a financial hit of about 90, 000 plus.
            5. I do not see a case of force majuere in this turn of events and consider uber liable for the financial loss and mental distress i and my family went through.

              On last thursday i have book a uber near 1:40 at aramgher, tadban. Actually it was ubergo.

              As i called the driver he told me to wait for 25 mins. At that moment it is not possible to wait for a such a long time. So i cancelled the trip. While doing cancel alerts shows that your half amount will be deducted from the trip amount. I did.

              First of all uber need to add a option like change or switch to other uber car. How long a person can wait at afternoon time at a temperature of 40 degree.

              From that location to my home autos are easily available at price of rs=10/-. Bez o[censored]ber standard i always prefer it. Then what should i wait for long n pay him such a huge amount.

              And i booked a uber today 4/4/18 near 9:20 morning. I had payed both the amount 126/-.
              Kindly look into the above matter n help inthis regard.

                Yesterday evening at 5.10 pm i left behind my gionee f103 pro smartphone accidentally in uber car. We got to know it about 15-20 mins later. When we called the driver he didn't pick up the call. Our lost phone is switched off since then. We called the driver via uber help section of the app where he was compelled to pick up the call. But the things he told us aren't matching as we called him twice at different times. The driver is not co-operating. Though we are not sure but the stuff he says makes us doubt the fact that the phone is or was with him. And also we would like to complain about the fact that uber does not show car details especially the car number which is making difficult for us to trace the car in which we lost the phone.

                  Called an uber on 3 april, 2018 at 7 pm from bm nagar, edappally, kochi, kerala. My destination was too sonia villas, cheranalloor. When i booked the trip, my uber app showed rs 166 fare. For no mistake of mine, the driver took a bit longer route due to heavy traffic. But when i reached the destination, the driver said that the fare has been revised to rs. 238 absolutely for no reason. This is cheating from uber. They did the revision of fare without giving any explanation. The driver just said that the amount is now higher. Actually in the same day around 5 pm i had traveled through the same route the opposite way at rs. 167. I feel cheated and exploited by uber. I want the excessively charged amount to be refunded at the earliest.

                    I had Uber trip on Friday 30th March 2018. And the option was paying through upi, and after the trip driver denied to accept upi . So I paid using cash as I was not instructed by the driver or Uber. At the end I ended up paying twice. In Uber app help, there is a section to deal for I would like to refund---my driver asked for cash payment on a non cash trip. Very very irresponsible customer care and Uber management without any escalation matrix.

                      I have been constantly facing issues with uber. Always driver asks for cash and my credits also gets deducted. N is there any email where i can send the screenshots of care rep just keep closing issue without a reply. I had earlier booked cab for a friend uber deducted from my credits and driver asked my friend to pay. Ride was for rs 35.00 which was deducted from uber credits and driver asked my friend to pay rs 70.00.

                        I am registered with uber india as a rider from my phone no. [protected]. I had booked a trip on 20th march 2018 at 17:22 ist and was waiting for the driver for over 10 minutes. However, he cancelled the trip later and i was asked to pay rs.47.25 as cancellation fees. After seeking guidance through uber help in the app, they credited my account with the same amount. However, now when i am about to book a trip they are asking me to pay the same cancellation fee and i am unable to use the credits against the payment. I am need o[censored]rgent help as i am not able to book any cab unless i pay that amount and i am not willing to pay for something i am not responsible for.

                        Please look into the matter.

                          I booked uber xl cab on 02/04/2018 for family trip to adarsh nagar gurugram bus stop from hastsal lig flats vikas puri... The estimated fare was rs. 626.67... Driver rajeev kumar didn't inform us proactively that he need to pay haryana tax an d he would have to stop in between the trip to pay it, the trip was going smooth untill i asked him to take right from bijwasan which he refused i agreed then he stopped at haryan tax before ambience mall i waited for him in cab for an hour with family then requested him to cancel the trip without telling me that fare will be same he cancelled the trip and asked me to pay rs. 626.67 i told him that it is the fare for entire trip to which he refused and said that is only till ambeince mall i refused to pay the entire amount and offered rs. 350 for which he had a word with someone in uber and he said it is ok you collect the money. Now i'm getting charged for rs. 953.34/- for entire trip the remaining amount will be added to next trip. Why should i pay this amount? When it is not my fault that he cancelled the trip without letting me know the consequences moreover this amount includes the wait time as well which wasn't because of me, my entire family was standing in middle of the road looking for a different cab for which i should be asking for compensation instead uber is asking me to pay then what was estimated.

                          Resolution : i need this amount to be reversed as this wasnt my fault, i would never travel with uber again if this doesnt happen as this is not acceptable from a reputed taxi service like uber.

                          When once the ride was costing 100rs, now the rides are nearly 200Rs. No cost breakup is provided. Every ride surge has been added even if it is not peaktime. Even the pick up time is delayed there is no apologies but charges customer if there is delay in reaching the pick up location.

                            I travelled by booking a cab on uber on 2nd apr'18 which transferred to another car by the first one which i had booked initially. I cannot see the details of the car who cancelled the booking initially. That driver was very rude and misguided me about his location. He was talking very roughly and asking to cancel the booking without any reason. I hope this horrible experience reaches to top management of the organisation and they take immediate action to remove such driver to maintain goodwill of the company. I am open to get a call back and share the incident in details. My number is [protected].

                              I receioved the following email from uber today. April 2 2018, new delhi
                              When a trip is cancelled more than 5 minutes after a partner-driver confirms, or if the partner-driver has to cancel after waiting more than 5 minutes at the pick-up location, a ₹42 cancellation fee is charged.
                              My reply is - utter shocking & disgusting experience of your company & its driver.

                              I have been a regular customer o[censored]ber for nearly past 3 years but have never had such a bad experience.

                              1. I was looking for a slot from 1.20 - 1.35 pm but i did not confirm it
                              2. Hence i never received any details of the driver / vehicle
                              3. The address which you have mentioned in your mail is wrong.
                              4. Utterly rude behavior of your driver - when i informed him that there is a confusion & have not booked a cab. His exact words were "you are a liar"
                              5. Does the company support / endorse such behaviour of its drivers to clients especially ladies???

                              I earnestly request you to recheck your account. For a regular customer like me, it is shocking to be called ' a liar" for few rupees.

                                Yesterday when i was booking for a cab, ride was confirmed, and spoke with the concern person (Cab driver) he said he is on the way. After some time the cab driver cancelled the cab without any intimation.

                                So, i tried booking another cab but got a pop up saying that extra 42/- has to be paid.

                                The thing is that the "driver cancelled the cab" after i waited for 10 mins.

                                See i think the money has to be paid when the person booked the cab (Rider) has cancelled. Not when the driver is cancelled. If driver has cancelled the ride then the necessary actions action should be taken but not collecting extra charge from the rider who was the victim.

                                I am on way to hurry to close a deal with a person. Because of this issue i have to book another cab and wait extra time to ride. Because of this issue i had to make the other person to wait for so long. This is not at all appreciable. Please go through the issue.

                                  Please refer your mail of 17 march 18 and my emails of 6, 7, 10, 11, 12 and 17 mar18. Mr rudraraju r had sent the last mail from your side on 17 mar.

                                  Today i received an email from uber saying that due to inactivity of 7 days, the technical team did not receive my mail. As i was informed by uber on 17 mar that technical team is looking for a solution and will revert, i think it is safe to assume that the reply was expected from your side. It is really surprising that an efficient organisation like uber finds difficult to resolve the issue even after almost 3 weeks.

                                  I assume my message has probably not been conveyed properly. I am once again forwarding the details sent to you earlier.

                                  Distance - 66.95
                                  Time taken-1:28:54 (05:52hr to 07:21hr)
                                  Fare paid -1687.27

                                  It may be seen from above that distance is same, the time taken same, route taken same but the difference of fare approximately inr700/-. How this is possible is beyond my comprehension.
                                  Can you pl clarify. If a different pickup or drop off point is being claimed, that is the problem of the navigation /diver. Action to rectify the same is required to be taken at your end

                                  For ease of comprehension, i am once again attaching the screenshots of the to and fro travel details from kempegowda airport to my destination.

                                  I hope now issue is amply clear and your technical team is able to find out a solution to my problem. I request expeditious action to the refund excess fare charged credited to my account.

                                    March 30th i was traveling in bangalore, and knowing the traffic woes, i booked a cab in advance @ 5:15pm to go to the airport. At the moment of my travel a cab was assigned to me however this guy was 25 mins away and when i tried to reach him he had switched off his phone and was unreachable!
                                    Suddenly i see that the trip has been switched on and the cab was moving! I desperately tried to reach out to the driver but couldn't.
                                    Eventually i see that #uber and #paytm has charged me rs 525!
                                    I tried booking another cab and this guy was also 25 mins away! Since i had a flight to catch i had to cancel the new trip.
                                    When i raised a complaint with #uber they seem to be very oblivious to the data that is in front of them!

                                    My question is this:
                                    - i am sure they will, if they do the analysis correctly, see that there was an advance booking that i had done and second booking after the fraud trip, that i had done. Can't they see what it tells them? Isn’t this part of their analysis?
                                    - if you know the cities in india well, i am sure whoever is processing this can see that a 6 min ride you cannot reach the airport in that time (Isn’t this logical!?) and that the charge of 525 is ridiculous!
                                    - they have access to their driver, are they even trying to talk to him or analyze his behavior? He seems to have a very bad track record! (2.1)
                                    -the vehicle was a maharashtra license (I found this from my app), what is that doing in karnataka?
                                    Finally as a customer, i am stating that i have not taken the trip. I can prove it that me and my colleague were waiting at capgemini office in bangalore along with the center head for the cab.

                                    I have now made up my mind to fight this out. I have clear evidence that i did not take this.
                                    Taking money without asking isn't it tantamount to #loot #fraud and #theft?

                                    Would like my friends to update that After "1 follow up every day" @Uber has finally refunded the money today. My suggestion, if you think you are right, please followup meticulously! and Raise issues in multiple subject lines. Thanks Consumer Complaint for your efforts too!

                                    Trip on sunday25th march2018 by Hyundai Xcent No MH05DK1571with driver pravin, from tisgaon, kolsewadi, Kalyan east To Samved, Rajendra nagar Borivali east.pickup 2.20pm and droptime 3.56pm .i paid cash Rs 859.35 to driver and again Uber deducted same amount, directly from my paytm wallet so uber should give me refund.
                                    I want refund of rs 859.35 for double payment of one trip

                                      I had cleared balance due on 28 march 2018. Today again it has been collected after my trip from bangalore central railway station to home in vidyaranyapura. Amout payable was rs 264 but amount collected is rs 317. Kindly arrange to refund excess amount at the earliest. Thanks

                                        Hello.
                                        I am dinesh. Using uber as business. But i got low fare on same distance ride.
                                        On 29th march 2018, domestic terminal 1b chhatrapti.. To vasai west. Time 8:52pm to 11:30 pm. This was ride on that i got fare of rs.1472 and from that i got 1140 in my account. Distance was 53km. 2hr 24 min this was trip time. Okay. Keep in mind this situation.
                                        Now hear this on 30th march 2018, time was 7pm to 9:12 pm, ride duration was 1hr 48 min. Bhivandi to borivali stn. Fare was 931 and i got rs736 for 50 km.
                                        Now the question is i got 400rs less in my acct. How this can be happened?.
                                        Your computer system does not how to calculate fare for us???
                                        What do you think o[censored]s?
                                        We are here for make business not for social services.
                                        So please keep your data up to date. And don't cheat us.
                                        And do the justice for us.
