    Uber delivery executive mr prem ran away with my laptop, (phone number [protected] ) date 13th august 2022, time 14.08 pm, bike number hr55af9738

    Phone number of driver provided by uber is switched off ever since day one, and uber them selves could not contact the driver, where as phone number belongs to krishna gopal not prem, as per true caller, but uber never cared to verify the owner.

    Not only phone number but The pic in the app does not matches with the inages of driver seen on cctv footage. Seems the one mr prem registered with uber is not same as other person who was driving in his name, and who was the driver that no one in knows not even uber. So this is how secure uber is.

    bike registered with uber does not have owner as mr prem, but its mr vishnu dutt bhardwaj and he just do not know mr prem. And uber again did not verified the vehicle owners.

    Above all this vehicle has over a dozen challan pending, from all over Delhi ncr, that too since september 2019, that is 3 yrs. these are the verified vehicle that uber includes in there fleet and i m not sure if they ever verified this vehicle . Other certificates like puc, insurance, fitness etc are also under question. One thing is sure uber does not have a periodic check of these safety measures.

    Now i[censored] have any mis happening, with uber rides or deliveries, uber just do not have any complaint numbers to call. U can write them and wait for any response if they have time to respond. In the end if they do reply then, they will tell u to contact driver for lost items, as they consider their drivers can not steal, and above that they ask us to reward them, those who steal our packages are supposed to be rewarded, in case they return the item, and if they decide not to, then uber will tell you 100 times to call driver for Lost item, that they dont accept that they were stolen, even if you send them a registered FIR, they will still tell u its lost and not accept stolen word in their replies.

    Like in MY CASE, here it was a clear theft, where uber driver named prem stole the laptop, ended the ride with out security pin number / otp, just after his pickup and never reached the person whom he was supposed to deliver that is me. Infact delivery ended just wuthin 50 odd meters from pickup point in 5 minutes.

    So you see those pin numbers, otp are just gimmiks, just to fool you, in actuality they just are some useless numbers uber and their druvers are tge king they can just choose to skip. I[censored] ask uber hiw dud the delivery ended without pin they will simply ignore as if those words were nit written or became invisible, i think they have a special filter, as i asked them 10 times.

    Uber only called me once to tell that they can do nothing about it, that i m no one to ask them anything, they have an international lert team and that will not just acknowledge you, as a matter of fact they willl not acknowledge existence of indian criminal laws ir police, (99 percent of police officers in india are like unauthorised people who cant talk to them, they will not acknowledge the FIR, they will ignore it, even after they have received form your end or any police officer. As only thing they say they might consider to recognise is an authorised law authirity email assigned by government. That too knowing that 99 percent of indian police dont have them, but they will still ask for it, just to skip the legal authorities questioning them. They know for sure that, law has been broken, immediate action is required, but they will not care. As only few top officials and sho of a police station has the email id, though i m not sure if these can be accepted as authorised law agency email by the government as per lert team o[censored]ber.

    So next tume u r hirung an uber, please know that u r at a mercy o[censored]ber and their driver as if they choose to take law in their hands and manage to run away uber will do everything to protect them.

    Uber told me as a measure they, have banned the driver but they will neither give info about the driver to investigating officer asi sunil dutt [protected], nor they will even call any police station prashant vihar, delhi about it. The information about the thief is so personal and private that they will not share it with any police officer, even they know about criminal offence and that an FIR RHN PV 525 / 22, is registered at prashant vihar police station in delhi, Rohini area, and they were informed with a copy of it in email and their chat. They did asked me to send the copy, then they did nothing.

    Its really freaking that uber in india, do not have any point of contact, no place or address to contact, no helpdesk, no phone numbers. Not even for law authorities police.

    They expect to have police officer in india to email them at [protected]@uber.com that email address is not even in india but in some other country that too with an so called official authorised email id issued from government, that none if any investigation offucer have in india in their name, that us a flaw that UBER is aware of, but they decide to keep this policy to just hide the essential information of the thieves, they have hired in their fleet.

    They do not do any verifications, use random phone numbers of any person in anyones name, use vehicles that are continuously flaunting traffic rulrs across Delhi NCR, whether its gurgaon or delhi, shether uts been 3 yrs and over a dozen traffic voilations are still pending, but they will register such driver and vehicles, without taking any secure measures to v
    More over they will allow anyone to use anyones ubsr identity and ket any ine drive the uber.
    Its been 6 days and nothing have been done from uber, or delhi police.

    Delhi police as usuak has everything ti but not to unvestigate an fir, even though sotlen laptop's thief has a identified ohone number, vehicle number abd a picture of the thief himself.

    Delhi police is busy in 15th august, then their court duties, and asi sunil dutt is least bothered . He simply asks me to go to other nearby police choki inspite of thr fact that Delhi police had appointed him the investigation officer. He sits in an ac room, police both across pvr prashant vihar,

    In this case police has phone number, but they will not use it to nab the culprit, no records have been found about phone numbers yet, not even tried.

    They have the vehicle number, but they wil not ask state transport authority to get the details.

    They have the picture if the thief, but they will not use it, they did not even went to take the cctv footage, though itd been 6 days

    They will tell me to cime after 2 days as uts independence day, rhen they have very very busy and other important things to do, sitting in an ac riom in a booth and police choki, as if stolen laptop of mine had no importance. Interestingly the tbief is scott free, living a free life driving a bike thst voiltes every now and then.

    Case is very much clear and simple, just get the phone number details, it will have aadhar card details, cdr details, locations. But they will not do it.

    They have vehicle number but it us too difficult for them to get its details too.

    Forget about the images and video (that might just get over wriiten in few days). But who needs to recover a stolen property and safe guard the evidence.

    The laptop had sensitive personal data as well as very crucial company database if cusomers, sales, employees etc, but all is missing .i m adraid my custimer is going to sue me over this.

    Because delhi police do not have any clue as to how to deal with UBER, which only works when you write to them at [protected]@uber.com, that is supposed to be their international law enforcement team. They do not have emails, authorised to contact uber, officially

    Police knows this, and so does UBER, about crime and that flaw in the system. Police is helpless as they do not have email and brains to use other information and above that will to bring uber down to law abiding, they should ask uber make law enforcement in india as per indian law and system.it is right now thsy are asking indian law to work according to their rules, literally dictating their terms as they think they are above law.

    In this case its a laptop, with data in it. In other case it could be more serious crime, like murder, rape, molestation, riad accidents and other criminal activity. Neither uber nor police is equipped and prepared to handle it.

      Date of incident: 21/03/2021 & 18/07/2022
      Description: On 21 March 2021 Uber was booked from the pick up location. However, uber driver cancelled the trip after asking for the destination. A second attempt was made for booking Uber. This time it was done and Rs. 315.54 was paid via my Credit card ending 0504.
      Later on on 18/07/2022 when i travelled by Uber it charged extra Rs. 429.54 as unsettled amount for the trip on 21/03/2022. However, on 21/03/2022 only one trip was taken and Rs. 315.54 was paid by Credit Card. Uber unwilling to share the trip details of 21/03/2022 saying it is too old. The source and destination would prove that one trip was cancelled and the 2nd trip was undertaken.
      Possible resolution: Uber must refund Rs. 429.54 as illegally collected.

        I have booked a uber ride from Narayan Circle to Sector 10 Kumbha Marg Sanganer Road Pratap Nagar Jaipur. I have paid ₹259+50 extra. However, it's still showing as your driver has reported that payment is not done yet. & I owe ₹259.00? Contact [protected]

          I am middle class job doing citizen, started new job in gurgaon and i found best option to ride via uber shuttl, i book in one night prior so i get seat easily as per my time but around 15-20 mins before my ride i see my trip every time get canceled and no refund no other options given, no way to connect with customer care, such a worse service by the MNC never seen before, everytime they cut money from my wallet without my acknowledgment and if i need it to book other ride, i don’t left with other option, it’s harassment by such a big company, below attachment is proof of booking confirmation by uber but if we check app history nothing can be found, they tried to act smart, so no proof left

            I traveled with my family via Uber cab on 14AUG2022 morning 4:34 AM. While DE boarding the cab I lost luggage in the cab. Luggage bag consists of a laptop with adapter, Medicines and cosmetics. I tried to reach the driver through Uber Help Section but driver is not picking up the call. Now we lost the baggage and Uber is not responding to our request.

              I have sent a parcel worth Rs4000 to my client via uber but in the middle of the ride he switched off his phone and cancelled the ride. While contacting uber care they are also not providing any solution.

                While using App based services o[censored]ber India, following problems are seen, which are faced by almost all users.
                1) When entering destination, it shows approx. wait time for pick up. Once you confirm booking, it shows higher time and by the time vehicle reaches to you, it's still more time.
                Remedies is, they must be penalized for delay than first time shown.
                2) Once you book services, a tele call is followed from either side, driver always INSISTING on destination. If it does not suit him, he cancel the trip or in worst case, ask / force user to cancel it. This is not fair. Regulatory body must scrutinize cancellation and ask service provider for reasons for cancellation.
                3) In the event of cancellation by driver, Uber app auto trip allocate to some one else. Thus time passes but no services. The AUTO TRIP ALLOCATION TO ANOTHER for services be not permitted but it shall rest with user whether he wants another booking or will be using other means. There is no data with user, for the cancellation made by App.
                4) It is seen that once you book services, driver calls and confirm pick up. Suddenly, he cancel trip and again App start re-booking. I have experienced this for my trip with Uber at Ahmedabad. The Driver passed in front of my pick up, with some other passengers. ( He has got direct passenger, with farer destination and more fare!!) Trip date 20/01/22. (I could not find trip number from App receipt!!)
                5) It is seen that once you book services, driver calls and ask to come at another pick up point. He than cancel trip, and ask is I am ready with same fare as that o[censored]ber App? (Vadodara trip dated 19/01/21)

                    Uber drivers are still refusing and cancelling rides on their own and want the customers to pay either via Cash, or in their own Paytm and Gpay accounts. Their apps also won't let us pay using Cash. Their consistent rude behaviour and negative attitude against riders is embarrassing and unbearable. Uber is least bothered about Customers satisfaction right now. They dont solve customers problem and instead divert the issue. So, stringent action needs to be taken against Uber as the company is just fooling customers and making profits.

                      We have taken a trip from Rajiv Gandhi airport to my home which is in pragati nagar, initially it showed 1167 as estimated price for the ride but driver have said I got the bill of 2645 and need to be payed, in case this Is glitch in app he will contact you and return the money, after he ended the trip and app got updated it showed 1170 payment to be made and I tried to contact the driver but his number is coming as switched off and he have blocked my contact number.i have raised a request through uber app but I didn't received any response. Instead of taking any action against the driver they sent me a mail saying that they got a complaint against me by one of their driver so they temporarily suspended my uber account. I tried to contact uber on twitter as well but after asking the issue they didn't reply as well. I have shared all the screenshots and details possible with them And I am sharing them here as well. Please look into this matter as this is a matter of fraudulent
                      Please look into this matter and this is an horrible experience and making us Loose the trust in uber.

                        I am Upinder Singh, want to know when i am schedule the trip on 11 August, 2022 at sharp 11 am then you driver have confirm me on 8 AM then we told him to reach on my pickup point sharp at 11 am but they refuse and cancelled my trip but your company charges Rs 37 approx. cancellation charges. I am asking you why you have charged without riding and cancellation from my side. Why we have ride on your time table instead of my schedule. You have pay my deduction amount back. Your service so poor and you have every second have charge different different in particular pickup and destination point. When your cab driver drive they drive slowly to charge extra or make a longer route

                        No body give the access to their direct payment from wallet or a bank account. They charge in advance without confirmation. If their driver is not interested to drive on your location they have cancelled other wise to asked for the cancellation on both reason you have paid him their cancellation charges without any ride or any mistake. So please don't link your payment mode with uber services. They have charges maximum from on your account their fare show 800 then they charges 1000 Rs extra

                          The car from Padmashri to Harhari Bela was booked by 10 pm.After arriving at Kalitala, the driver said that the car will not go any further.When asked why, he said the vehicle would not go up to Haritala. Meanwhile the car was booked till Harharitla.The driver calls the person who booked and abuses and threatens in profanity.
                          The biggest thing. The driver booked the car online but when I went to pay online while taking the money. Then he said he doesn't have online payment option.

                            I took an uber ride on[protected] from sec-9 indira nagar to KFC Vrindawan lko. I had selected the mode of payment as cash.On completion of ride, i had paid the charged amount to the driver i.e. Rs 293/- even though I had paid an extra Rs 10/- to him as a tip. When I tried to book a cab on another day then I came to know that I have an outstanding balance of Rs 293/- of my previous trip.
                            I raised the issue in their online chat option but didn't get the suitable reply. I got the reply that Uber cannot verify the payments made to the driver directly. If they cannot help with cash as a mode of payment done to the driver then they should not have included it as one of the payment options. Do you think the driver would allow me to complete the ride without paying the expenses? This was my first ride with Uber otherwise i have always opted for Ola.
                            Please look into the matter seriously and provide the suitable resolution. I want the outstanding balance to be squared off.

                              I had booked my trip to Mumbai intl airport 1 day prior. Next day, almost 40 mins before my pick up time, driver called me and said he has accepted another trip and won’t be able to pick me up at the stipulated time. He insisted that I cancel the trip. The cancellation charges were ₹312 at that time, because it was less than 1 hour till my pick up time. I refused to cancel. Driver then called me several times asking me to cancel. I asked him to contact customer care and resolve this issue since he wanted to cancel but I still wanted to take the ride to the airport. Then he called me and said he spoke with customer care. Then, my uber app showed that my trip had automatically started without taking any OTP from me and without even picking me. The driver was 40 mins away from my pick up point. 30 mins after starting the trip driver ended the trip and it was marked as trip completed! Without picking me or dropping me and the driver didn’t even move an inch from his place (based on the location showed by Uber app). I was charged for the full fare for a trip I didn’t even take. Uber India you guys are scamsters and cheaters and I want my money back.

                                Time between 6:30 to 7 pm cab come on time my dropoff time was 9pm but cab driver saying his car don't have cng we check on Talegaon dhabade cng Pump there is line the driver started car we go next cng Pump we waiting there more than 30 minutes on line after that cng finish next cng Pump there we got cng
                                But Uber company should tell cab driver to make full cng or petrol why we suffer from your company problem
                                My one year child why face your company problem no fule whatever is that
                                I want my ride money back and Rs 5000 comprehension

                                  I took a uber rental ride on 21st-July. I made the cash payment of Rs 1894 as it was showing up in Driver's app.
                                  However I didn't get receipt for same. Later I found on the app it was showing trip cancelled. after few days I raised a complaint with Uber support team. Finally They generated receipt of Rs 1852 but:
                                  (1) it doesn't show the route and duration of my travelled. It just shows ride of 5 mins when Driver came to pick me at the beginning of the trip.
                                  (2) Receipt also shows payment status as "failed". Hence the receipt is invalid.
                                  (3) Receipt also shows message that "Your driver reported that you didn't pay the full amount. Rs 1852 will be deducted in your next trip". On this point after following up with Uber they mentioned amt was paid correctly and it will Not be charged in next trip. But message is still there. Hence for me the receipt is still invalid.

                                  All I am asking for is correct receipt (with route & duration I travelled and correct amount). Even after so many follow ups Uber is not able to produce the valid receipt of my travel.

                                    I booked Uber DL1RTB2857 from Dabri Etn. Delhi on 05/08/2022 and Started ride on 7:12 PM driver droped me at Aerocity which is Aprox 14 Kms from the airport. My ride estimate was Rs. 276/-.I got bill of Rs1410/- On close observation of the bill I found that ride distance was 67.75 Kms. Is it possible for Wagon R to travel distance of 68Kms in just 45 minutes in Delhi traffic? that means driver has broken all speed limit.

                                    I have seen one more person has complained about the same case by same vehicle no.

                                    Please look into this, we are feeling #unsafe with #uber

                                      I have a ride wth uber India on 28th july, 2022. the bill came Rs.97.74 and i have paidRS. 100 to driver. still it is showing outstanding payment. i have submitted my request many times and due tothis issue I am not able to book any other ride after that date.

                                        Address: A-1, SECTOR 5 NOIDA, UP 201301

                                        Please note most of the time ride is been canceled when uber person comes to know that it is short distance ride. uber charges are too high at Noida sector 15 to Noida sector 5. some times they didnot come to correct location in order to gain waiting charges. disappointed with uber services. going forward will prefer some other service provider
