Hi,

I have paid Rs. 728 to your driver, Nagaraj, by PAYTM. Proof of the same is attached for your quick reference (UBER 2.png).

I have asked the driver to close the ride when i get down the vehicle. He said he couldn't close due to technical issues and asked me to pay whatever the amount appearing in UBER APP. I have paid as i have no option (I can't argue with your driver for the technical glitches). I have observed that the trip is closed after few minutes and amount is debited from my PAYTM account. I have called him at 12.54 am and informed him about debit and asked him to refund my money. He said he will check and call back. He called me back at 12.57 am and asked me to complain to UBER and he will not refund the money. Proof is attached for reference (UBER 1.png).

I have lodged a complaint to UBER after that.

Uber replied saying Rs. 300 is credited to my account. I have paid Rs. 728 and UBER is offering Rs. 300 is not acceptable. There is no mistake of mine as driver couldn't close the trip due to technical issues. I should not be penalized because your technical issues. You can ask check with driver and arrange for refund of Rs. 728 i have paid. Moreover, your driver said that the trip is only cash trip as per the information available in his app.

Pl check and arrange for refund of my money.

    I took a cab to my home because I was unwell and charges were 550 rs. The driver under the pretext of short cut took me to totally opposite direction inspite of me asking him repeatedly. Finally he told me he has small chore to run at his home and he ran. Then I realised he wanted to do his household work so he took to via his home and that took alot of my time. Then i obviously cancelled my trip as i noo longer trusted him because the route towards my home now became longer. Uber inspite of me complaining them on app, Twitter, Facebook are ignoring me and replying without even reading my grievances. They are not even reading my issue and i don't know how to talk to their customer care. In the help section of app their customer care replies but about something else i.e. they think I am talking about high fare. But my concern is why am I being charged 150 rs when he took me to complete his household chore that too totally opposite to my destination.

          Booked a taxi for 0445 to catch a train. The driver was allocated who is nither picking up nor calling I am still waiting for him. This is very sad as this is not the first time it is happening with me. And I am not able to complain on the app too. I took another cab but I haven cancelled that trip. It is still showing the same

            I have lost my airpods in the ride today.
            Its been two hours I am trying to connect to a uber driver and couldnt connect.
            The auto generated call in teh help section is just playing some advertisement and not connecting me to a driver.

            My caller number was blocked and unable to call from my end.
            Couldnt do anything to connect the driver.

            Morever now they are not even call me back

              Today, I booked a ca from Sector -16 Faridabad to Old Delhi railway station.
              I chose amazon pay as a payment option. As my internet was not working so I was unable to verify whether money was deducted or not.

              Driver asked for the cash so I paid 700 to him as he was not having the change. The actual amount which I saw at the time of booking was 666. I was getting late for my train so I didn't check.

              The driver was a cheater and now uber is saying they will not return my money. His name is Bhanu Pratap Singh and his no. is - [protected].
              I don't remember his whole cab no. but digits were 2333. Attached are some snapshots.

                Today on 01.08.2022 I Moutoshi Gupta met an accident due to rash driving o[censored]ber driver having vehicle registration no. WB 79A 8732 at BT road near about 6.55am.
                The driver suddenly took turn at the right side without giving any indicator and thus caused the accident.
                Immediately take the necessary action for the offence and obliged.

                  1. 2 weeks back uber driver caused an accident in my residential area.

                  2. Today, first driver cancelled without informing. Uber didn't book next ride.

                  3. Booked again, second driver came, was abusive in his language.

                  4. Third driver didn't answer his calls. It was already 1 hour 20 min I had been waiting. Called safety concern team, they told me to look for alternate means of transport and they would raise my issue.

                  5. Cancelled trip, looked for alternate means. Meanwhile was told to pay cancellation fee. Called safety concern team again, informed them.

                  6. No actions taken by company as such have been informed to me.

                  7. Such incidents within a span of 1 month have cause me mental harressment and trauma.

                  8. I have been forced to never use uber's services again.

                    Charging a lot more fare than suggested in ride on app.
                    We hired a cab from Sector 25 to ISBT 43, Chandigarh, today, on 31 July 2022. The car number was PB01C3790.
                    Earlier on app it was giving the fare Rs 161. But when the driver dropped us, he asked for a fare of 260 and said it is claimed from Uber company. I don't know if the fault of overcharging at the last moment is at driver's side or at your side but this is serious grievance. We will also file a complaint by post to consumer cell, Chandigarh. You are directed to refund my overcharged fare immediately so that no legal action could be initiated against your company. You are annoying your customers. So poor service.

                      My last trip from Jaipur Highway to Sector 47 Gurgaon, cash was paid ₹200 as per the Uber Amount to the driver . Yet the system shows that payment is unpaid. The society is under surveillance at drop point .
                      My trip cost was ₹192 yet paid ₹200 including the tip.

                      Have written me recorded my grievances but no responses yet .

                        Yesterday I booked an uber and I had to pay ₹697 for my ride. I paid the driver ₹700 on the drop location in cash because the driver insisted to be paidin cash for the ride. Now on the uber app it's showing that an amount of ₹298 needs to be paid for the ride. Why should I pay again if I have already paid for the entire ride? Also the driver was extremely rude and continously on the phone while driving. People calling him were using obscene languages all the time. This is highly unacceptable.

                          Hi Team,

                          I had taken an Uber ride dated 23th July, 2022 from Lemon Tree, Aerocity, Gurgaon to India Gate, New Delhi and the estimated fare was Rs 205 as it was early morning (approx 5:30 am) and there was no traffic or road congestion but upon arrival the final fare amounted to Rs 796.

                          I reached out to Uber almost everywhere but got no response and even if I did it was "we need some more time". It's been a week now and I do expect to get in touch with an uber executive and get my refund as the difference amount is more than Rs 500, which is earned after lots of hard work as I have just started my career. Uber app doesn't even have a customer care number and are not even bother if their customers are actually in trouble.

                          Please find attached receipts for your reference.

                          I wish the issue gets resolved as soon as possible. Hoping for fast resolution.

                            I Booked an uber on 27/7 and i paid the driver via Google pay but it's still showing that the payment is pending and i can't book any more trips !!!

                              When my mother and I got into the Uber Auto, the Driver was speaking rudely about a truck driver who was also on the road. My mother asked him to talk respectfully since the truck driver was a senior citizen. He turned around and started yelling at the both o[censored]s.

                              The conversation went like this:

                              Uber Auto Driver (UAD) to my Mother: Ye buddha one way mein aa gaya hain...

                              Mother: 'Buddha' mat kahiye bhaiya, aapke papa ke umar ke hain.

                              UAD: Buddha nahin toh kya boluun?

                              Mother: 'Buzurg' kahiye.

                              UAD: Aap kidhar se ho?

                              Mother: Mumbai

                              UAD: Iss liye aap aisa bole. Madam ye Pune hain, idhar main jo chhahuun bol sakta huun, mereko ko kaun rokega! Aur baap pe nahin jaaneka, baap pe kyuun gaye, kuchh sochna chahiye na bolne se pehle??!

                              Mother: Bhaiya main aapke baap pe thodi gayee, aap suniye meri baat...

                              UAD: Voh doosre bike pe jo madam the voh bhi 'buddha' bole, aapne unko kuchh kyun nahin bola??

                              Mother: Bhaiya main aapke rickshe mein baithi huun na, aap mujh se baat kiye...

                              UAD: Mere rickshe main baithe hain toh kya mereko khareed liya hain??? Gents log koi hote na toh main kuch kar deta...

                              At that point we felt very endangered and did not want to engage any more.

                              I have submitted this complaint multiple times to Uber with no response. Please provide me with an update on the status of my complaint. Thank you.

                                    Today I was booking cabs from Uber but the drivers were picking up someone else and starting the ride. As I wasn't in the Cab I had to cancel the ride and this had happened thrice. I tried with my wife's mobile and same thing happened with her mobile as well. Lastly we could manage to get a cab by selecting the cash option.

                                    I am not sure if this is from Uber or a new trick which the drivers are following for getting the easy and fast money by looting the customers. Why can't UBER add a PIN option in the rides just like OLA. Today's experience was horrified and I wouldn't be taking UBER rides until they introduce the PIN option. Also, I want my money back as soon as possible for those cancelled rides. I tried multiple times to contact Uber and selected that someone else has taken my ride but there is no help from there side (Issue was reported almost 6 hours back).

                                      I booked Cab for DLF Ankur Vihar but driver took wrong longest route at night where distance is Approx 25-30 KM but he completed trip by 54KM in a time period of 1 Hour 27 min which is 30 min trip at late night.

                                      Further, at the time of booking estimate fare is showing by INR 443/- but he charged INR 1084/- more than estimate amount.

                                      Kind request please explain for this worst experience and kindly refund differential amount to me on immediate basis.

                                        I had taken Uber on 19th June, this was booked as non cash trip. Post getting into the cab, the driver informed that his app and navigator is not working and so his car a/c is also not working. He asked that the payment should be made by cash or UPI. I thought since his app is not working, the trip may not get processed for online payment. On reaching the destination I made payment to the driver via Gpay for Rs. 275/- After 15 mins my Uber wallet was deducted with Rs. 288/- because either the driver had lied to me or had not cancelled the trip online leading to duplicate charges. I raised a complaint for this and managed to get my Rs. 275/- reversed and this trip's payment was settled. However. on 28th June all of a sudden my PayTM wallet was charged with Rs. 202/- against the 19th June trip. For this I have raised several complaints with the Uber chat support team and has not received any response which is very frustrating to know that I cannot explain my case and just because of the driver's misleading act I ended up paying so many times to Uber having to go through such pathetic experience. This means Uber is not trustworthy and if you do not manage to keep close eye on the wallet money then you may end up with duplicate & unexpected charges which is not very good from the company's end. To add to it Uber does not feel the need to hear out the complain or resolve it. Uber is definitely not customer centric - drivers are highly misleading, pathetic vehicle condition, trip is booked and later informed this and that is not working. Unnecessarily my money is getting parked in Uber wallet due to the errors from their end.
