Issue with uber drivers in mohali Chandigarh

I have been customer o[censored]ber past couple of years, however currently I am facing an issue that uber drivers ask for unnecessary charges. Yesterday I booked a cab and cost was 1485rs something but driver asked 2000rs for dropping me to the destination. This wasnt first time issue it has happened almost regularly past few months....

Wrong charges collected for my trip

On 07/07/2022, I booked uber cab amounting INR 240/-. After trip completion amount got increased to INR 416.15/- without any reason(such as longer route taken or traffic). I raised the same in inapp support on that they accepted that it is due to some technical problem and their team will revert back with a solution. That day onwards, no one contacted and no is responding in uber support.

I raised the same on tweeter uberindia...

Deduction of money without ride

My father did booking on 4th SEP 2022 for Rs 340.46/- but driver did never came and ride did not happened. When he tried to contact Uber Team through APP they claimed ride had happened. However, my account is clearly showing adding money from Paytm wallet to UBER wallet and money deduction from Uber wallet also ride is showing cancelled. But still Uber team is not resolving it.

Also this company is working in India without...

Single Invoice Copy Required For Each Ride

Hi Uber Team,

I am trying to download invoice copies for each ride because I need to submit to my office to claim the amount, but this time I am not able to download Single Invoice Copy For Each Ride. It's downloading a zip file where I have 2 invoice copies for the same ride, I have tried to get a receipt voucher but in the receipt voucher my name does not appear (Booking by).

Driver cancelled the trip but cancellation fee invoiced

I was at the Kolkata airport and booked a Uber cab for pickup. The driver cancelled the trip and did not come. I had to arrange another transport. Now I see that the cancellation fee has been showing up whenever I log in. Why should the rider pay for driver cancelling the trip? This is fully unacceptable. Please remove the cancellation fee until then I wont take any Uber ride....

Driver ended the trip in middle of ride

I have asked for driver to pause for a moment tp collect urgent reports for hospital, which is on the way and near to home. when i went collect reports, in a minute driver ended the trip and ran away.
so i had to take Ola for remaining trip.
and now uber charging me amount for the trip....

Accident and extortion by uber driver

On 7th Sept, My car had an accident with an uber driver driving a white maruti swift dzire with licence plate KA41C3787

While it was not my fault- the driver blocked my car and did not let me leave till he extorted INR 2000 from me.

I would request you to blacklist this driver immediately and if possible reimburse me for damages.

Cancellation of ride by driver and billing cancellation charges

I booked ride 3 days in advance with uber on1st sept 22.As usual i got a message that the ride is on time followed by driver details and pin number.i was waiting for the cab, i received a call from the driver refusing to come.i was in a hurry to catch train, i booked a cab from Ola and luckily i reached my destination on time.But on the way i got a call after about 20 minutes from another driver o[censored]ber saying he has come to pick me up.i...

Cancelation fee

If the driver cancles the ride you wont pay back and if driver is delaying the ride when im waiting on location if I cancled you ppl charge as cancelation fee. Why dont ubar pay us for their driver fault....

Paid more than estimated

I booked a trip on uber on 05.09.2022. the estimated cost was 244.18 but at destination it showed 257. The route was the same and no diversions. Surprisingly when I am checking the old trips the cash paid is the same 244.18. This is cheating the customer. I have enquired with my friends and family they also have faced similar issue. This looting shud be stopped.

Uber Ride Refund

On 4th of September 22 I booked an uber ride for my mother who is a senior citizen to Uttarpara from behala. Upon reaching the destination even though the driver completed the ride but the fare that she was suppose to pay was not reflecting neither in the driver's phone nor in mine, neither I received a trip receipt in the email while waiting. Uber driver lying and misbehaving

Recently my friend booked an Uber moto to deliver her cake at my place. When the driver arrived with the cake at my place he changed extra amount. As the amount wasn't visible on my phone as I didn't booked but she send me a screenshot of that it was 80 and the man charged me 100 and also he was very very I'll mannered. Having a ride with this kind of a driver is really not safe. He even asked all my money saying that he will bring me change...

Extra money deducted from my Paytm wallet.

I booked uber one month ago and tried to pay from wallet ..but due to insufficient amount payment failed and i paid to driver with cash now i added money to wallet and it got deducted without my permission what is this ..this is how uber is taking money from people. Very disappointed with Uber it was my first time booking a uber and surely it was the last trip.
I want my money back ....

Issue in payment

I have taken an uber ride and paid the driver an amount of Rs 108. But it showing unpaid in the uber app....

Cancellation fee applied without my fault

Driver had cancelled his trip and asked me to pay the same amount. I paid him 190.nowit show as pending outstanding of 15.80 as cancellation fee. Can someone call me back on [protected].

Unable to get in touch with customer service by any mode of channel and hence writing to u, hoping to receive a call back ASAP.

Ride payment issue

On 13/4/2021, i took an uber ride for whic i have paid the payment to the uber driver Gonesh Gour in cash as it was a cash ride. But the uber is still showing the ride unpaid.
And on asking to resolve the issue they are replying that it is older than 30 days so they cant do fare adjustment.
Whereas they can ask the customer to do fare adjustment for the trip which is older than 30 days.
The issue is between the uber...

Charged without providing service

I booked a UBER Auto in the morning from C-15, SAF village, Koyambedu, chennai to go to Vadapalani Murugan temple with wife.One Auto was responded after few trials. He asked us to join him at half kilometer away and did not come to the place where we booked. After a little argument he didn't pick up us and cancelled the trip and it is baffled that the uber people showed that I have to pay Rupees 22/-. How can I be charged without my fault...

Cancellation fee / Waiting fees

I had booked an auto on 28-Aug-22. Driver informed he will be coming in 10min even I guided him as he was facing difficulties however the location mentioned was very clear and chrisp. We were hoping that driver will reach in 2 mins but after waiting for 25minutes driver cancelled the ride and i was charged with fees of 10rs ...i failed to understand why and how. Really need resolution on this or else will have to take action...

I paid cash to the driver but it shows unpaid

Recently, I booked an auto from my place in Bangalore. It was a 'cash' trip and I paid the complete amount shown after trip ended which is 356 INR to the driver. But unfortunately, it shows pending payment 'unpaid' of Rs 256. Tried reaching the support but that doesn't help. You can confirm with the driver about the same.

I paid Rs 356 cash to the driver but it shows unpaid....

Paid driver in cash but app still asking for payment

Had selected paytm option for paying uber but driver asked for cash. Final bill was 296 but paid him 300 in cash and still app is asking to finalize payment and uber is not clearing it from my account.
Very unprofessional and bad customer service from Uber. Did not expect this suffering due to driver's problem now I am suffering.
Had to stop using Uber for this reason.
Kindly look into it...
