uber toll charges issue and uber customer care

A summary of my issue:

1) rider requests a ride selecting non-cash payment mode.
2) the ride starts smoothly
3) the car reaches a toll gate and driver demands payment from the rider in cash for the toll charges.
4) rider refuses since it's a non cash payment and he knows that riders are supposed to pay toll charges separately.
5) driver persists explaining that he has no cash. Either pay or we will...

.. The driver cancelled the trip and due toh drivers misktale we have to pay the charges... Because one of your driver why would i pay extra 42 rs i hope you to look forward to my complaint and this is not the first time i have payed exta rs because of your driver if this continues i have to stop using uber service......

extremely stupid pooling system

I booked an uber pool from vimannagar nagar. There was one boy who was to be dropped near classic rock in kalyani nagar. The driver got another request from viman nagar again which was even further than from where i was picked up.

facing problem again n again

I have registered account at uber app with my mobile no. [protected]. Earlier i had raised an issue regarding overcharged fare. However that issue has been resolved and they have credited the overcharged fare in my uber account.

can which never came

Today i booked a cab from uber. The driver didn’t respond on phone and didn’t turn up. So i cancelled the trip. And now i am charged rs 100 for the trip! There is no help tab on uber. charged extra even after surcharge

Hi,

I was charged 276 rs for barely 3 kms and that too in uberpool.
While booking the cab, the price shown was 80 rs but when the bill got generated it shows 276 rs which is higher than the actual fare.

When i complaint regarding the same through the uber app, but they have not responded till now.

This is against the uber policy as they say pay what you see....

drivers asking to cancel trips as they are far away

Yesterday i was at hotel atithi guwahati assam being dropped by an uber. At around 10:25 pm i booked an uber for my return. The driver asked me to cancel my trip as he was far away. unprofessional and rude behaviour of drivers

I booked 2 cabs which were directly cancelled by drivers without any of information we were waiting at destination since long time n my father who is a patient has fractured leg waiting for cab 1st cab he wasn’t responding to calls n he himself decided to cancel the cab which was so rude he dint even keep the courtesy to inform us. not refunding

I booked a cab on feb 7th, after ride completion paid them through online. Next day when i tried to book it was showing outstanding payment. It was urgent, so u paid again, but it was still showing outstanding payment. Remember i already paid twice for the same trip and it's still keep on asking to pay more. When i lodged a complaint no one cared for few days. Fortunately someone replied saying they are checking. They have same template useless...

cancellation of trip by driver in dec 2016

In dec 2016 we booked uber cab from mullur to yemlur. That driver kept calling us saying he is in ambedkarnagar, unable to locate us and cancelled the trip, the charges of rs.50 were put on us. this is disgusting how driver make fool of their customers. On Saturday I travelled from Delhi Airport to Shahdara in the night around 12 . My friend booked Uber for me and selected paytm option. about the charges

I booked uber cab and the charges at that time were showing 900-1200 rs, i took the ride and confirmed the price from driver as well he said it would be around 1000 rs and not more than that. When i reached to my destination the final charges were 2596 rs which is not slight higher but rather exorbitant amount that is taken by me. I am highly disappointed with such tactics that is used by these cab services who take advantage of customers...

direction of trip in uber system is totally unacceptable

My ride started from the "bangalore metro swami vivekanda stop" to "garudarcharpalya" which constitutes about 8kms in distance, but in uber pool it took 16 kms of travel.

They, uber in the name of pool, are taking customers on a blind ride, because customer doesn't know where is he headed and how many kilometre they have to travel in extra. This is a problem for everyone including the ladies and children...
