Hello,

I have been trying to get this issue resolved with uber for the last 3 days and i have had no luck. This company keeps closing the issue without any answer.

Saturday night i had booked an uber from richards town, bangalore. I went down and waited for my cab, a few minutes later the cab arrived and i had got into the cab. I booked the cab from richards town to cantonment railway station. The charges showed rs.34.50 as i had a coupon code of rs.50 for the next 9 rides. The distance between my location and cantonment railway station is 3.4kms. So the cab dropped me at the station and the amount showed rs.149. I was shocked to see the amount as 149 and when i asked the driver he responded in kannada. I did not know what he said. Anyway, i did not want to miss my train so i paid him the amount and told him i will deal with uber later. To my surprise, after about 7 minutes i get a notification that the driver had cancelled my ride. I was confused and checked mt app and they had charged me a cancellation fee for rs.43. I contacted uber via the app and they had stated that the cancellation fee will apply and the driver had waited more than 5 minutes before cancelling the ride. That is the most stupid thing i have heard. Can uber not see where is was dropped? Despite sending them a screenshot of where the ride was cancelled they still keep saying the same thing. I am absolutely frustrated by their lack of knowledge about their own services and i request immediate action to be taken against uber. My registered email id is [protected]@gmail.com. I have attached a screenshot of the ride.

    On 15 february, i had booked a uber from ats hamlet 1, noida, the driver came up to the building complex gate and had a fight with the security guard and never reached the destination and called me that he is waiting for the police and i should get another cab, i asked him to cancel he said you cancel.
    Uber is still charging for the cancellation fee, which is not my fault, and i dont think the agents responding to the complaint are reading the mail and responding they are just stupidly, stating a canned written reply.

    Another thing, two years back i was in us and they charged the cancellation fee and it shows as a credit in my account, but i cant use it in india and can only use it in us, but they charged my india card.

    I believe smith millions of transactions every day these kinds of small fee seems to be the only options form uber to make some additional money.

    I need my refunds both for the india and us cancellation.

          Driver is cancelling the trip and uber is charging cancellation fees from passenger. YEsterday also after reaching destination driver refused to start trip and i have asked driver to cancel it. He didn't cancel it and made me to cancel and for that i have charged with cancellation fee. These cancellation fee atrocities by uber is very very worst and passengers needs to raise some consumer complaints for this. Such a worst taxi service

            Hi,
            This is for trip dated 15th Feb. I was shown 216 but was charged 376. Almost 200 more. My PICK was the SAME. My DROP location was also the SAME. The ROUTE followed was also the SAME as suggested by gps. I have screenshots to prove that my destination which I input and the actual destination were the same. I have screenshots of the app while taking the ride, and the invoice both of which show bPCL colony as my destination. Now coming to the route, there are only 2 ways through which we can come, and GPS showed Vashi route so we took that route. The time showed to reach the destination was the same as I reached arnd that time only. So taking a different route does not arise. The invoice of the trip also mentions BPCL colony, so does the destination at each of the trip screenshots.

              I have been an uber partner since 3-4 months, but from 22/1/18 to current date 15/2/18 i have not received any payments from uber and also i have car loan to repay every month, there are no explanation to my complaints. I have called customer care many times and also tried to reach senior executive but failed. I've also visited uber office for this (Vashi branch) and they have mentioned that all your payments will be done this week (Wednesday), but i haven't got anything. I have all the call recorded from uber customer care regarding this issue.

                In january 2018 i have added 800rs but it is not showing in uber paytm wallet. I had also written about the issue to which 3 customer care executive have replied but they said to authorize your wallet please and add 350rs and when i had added 350rs, again they said please add 350rs to authorize and as they are not responding so i am raising this issue to consumer complaint.

                  My name is dilip kumar raja. I had booked a ride on 14th feb at 08:24 fto vps lakeshore hospital, kochi and was waiting at the pickup location. The cab neither arrived, nor did i get any call from the driver. After some time i received an sms at 08:37 saying that the driver had cancelled the trip and to request a new ride. When i tried that, i came to know that i was charged rs.40 as cancellation charges, which is quite unfair since the driver himself cancelled the trip and never called me up for any information regarding the pickup location.

                    A summary of my issue:

                    1) rider requests a ride selecting non-cash payment mode.
                    2) the ride starts smoothly
                    3) the car reaches a toll gate and driver demands payment from the rider in cash for the toll charges.
                    4) rider refuses since it's a non cash payment and he knows that riders are supposed to pay toll charges separately.
                    5) driver persists explaining that he has no cash. Either pay or we will be stuck.
                    6) rider is unable to argue because the driver seems to only understand/speak his local dialect and few english words.
                    7) rider pays because he wants reach the destination quickly and is not in a state to argue.
                    8) rider tries to change payment mode to 'cash' but the app does not allow it.
                    9) rider immediately reports the issue to uber while the ride is still in progress, but receives no response until the next day.
                    10) uber responds saying that they cannot address the issue since the payment is made in cash for a non-cash payment mode. However, this has happened to me earlier where the payment mode was cash and they still did not help me.
                    11) the conversation with the uber customer care has been frustrating and now they have started marking my complaints/issues as resolved even without giving a reply.

                    This is the reason i am forced to report the issue here.

                    On contacting the company (Uber) via their Facebook page, they have agreed to add credits to my account in compensation of the toll charges that were asked by the driver. The issue is resolved now.

                      I booked a cab at 6:29 with the driver name rajan phone no [protected]
                      .. The driver cancelled the trip and due toh drivers misktale we have to pay the charges... Because one of your driver why would i pay extra 42 rs i hope you to look forward to my complaint and this is not the first time i have payed exta rs because of your driver if this continues i have to stop using uber service...

                        Dear sir/mam

                        I was on trip with chandan kumar yesterday time 9.48 in maruti suzki swift dezire. From indira gandhi esi hospital jhilmil to majnu ka tilla delhi-54.
                        My ride bill was 164 but diver charges from me 564. He returned me rs. 100. Balance 300 not returned me. Driver car fast and run away. I tried to call yours customer care. They said complaint on uber rider on website. I tried to lodge complaint but site not responde. And also. Raise a complaint from uber app. Regarding over charges in cash on trip. But till not i did not net any call from your side. So please look this matter on urgent basic. And refund my money in my uber a. C.

                          I booked an uber pool from vimannagar nagar. There was one boy who was to be dropped near classic rock in kalyani nagar. The driver got another request from viman nagar again which was even further than from where i was picked up.

                          That boy was scheduled to be dropped first. I have been sitting in the vehicle since over an hour and still on get dropped. I think this system was completely not done correctly. It was not right for the driver to get another request from viman nagar again as it was even farther from viman nagar from where i came.

                          That boy paid the driver 140rs and i had to pay 250 rs. When i was the one who was driving around with the driver but not reaching my destination.. The driver yogesh patil was very good to talk to and kept in calm..

                          This is totally not fair.. And completely #...

                            I have registered account at uber app with my mobile no. [protected]. Earlier i had raised an issue regarding overcharged fare. However that issue has been resolved and they have credited the overcharged fare in my uber account.

                            On dated 9th feb'2018 i had booked a cab, as per my understanding the fare amount for this ride should be debited from mu uber app account balance but the same has not been debited. I asked driver that i have balance in my uber app fare should be debited from this only he said ma'am you have to pay in cash only because cash payment is shown in his account and in my account also because their is no option o[censored]ber credit money in payment mode. So i had paid in cash.

                            After that i saw that balance is also deducted from my uber credits. I had raised a complaint at uber help but no resolution received from their end.

                            On 11th feb'2018 due to some technical reason my phone get reset. Now i again download uber app in my mobile but they reset my uber account and their is no balance reflecting.

                            The uber supporting team is not their to help me.

                            Infact they don't have any of their customer complaint number or any of their e mail id where the customer can complaint or raise their complaints.

                            The company o[censored]ber is making people fool.

                            Please help my in this matter. Why should i always face problem with uber with in 15 days in had face problem 3 times.

                            Please see the attachments of i raise my complaint on his uber help and no reply received from their side till date.

                            I want to continue with my previous complaints till now they are not giving my credit balance in my account.

                            I m attaching screenshot of my ride with my previous account. I want that uber people check from whose account this ride has been done.

                            They told me there is no credit balance in my accont. They reset my account and now no one can help me.
                            As per telephonic conversation with your agent i write a mail to the [protected]@ uber.com.

                            The reply they send to me is attched with this mail which is not satisfactory again.please tell me now what i do now.

                              Today i booked a cab from uber. The driver didn’t respond on phone and didn’t turn up. So i cancelled the trip. And now i am charged rs 100 for the trip! There is no help tab on uber. On registering the complain on the app i am only getting “we have received your complain and will get back to you soon” but there is no complain id provided. How to get my money back?

                              I am using uber cab since long time. I have got a promotional code 545JPR, I used this code in the morning and evening, but you showed " Too many users have entered that promotion code.The redemption limit has been reached" Then why are you giving codes ?

                                Hi,

                                I was charged 276 rs for barely 3 kms and that too in uberpool.
                                While booking the cab, the price shown was 80 rs but when the bill got generated it shows 276 rs which is higher than the actual fare.

                                When i complaint regarding the same through the uber app, but they have not responded till now.

                                This is against the uber policy as they say pay what you see.

                                I called a uber taxi at High Court junction Kochi, for going to Manjummel. The taxi himself cancelled after making me wait ten minutes.
                                I was shocked that Uber added rs. 30 cancellation on my next trip as the cancellation was not from my side. This is an unfair practice.

                                  Yesterday i was at hotel atithi guwahati assam being dropped by an uber. At around 10:25 pm i booked an uber for my return. The driver asked me to cancel my trip as he was far away. Same was the statement of drivers in my simultaneous bookings. The drivers asked me to cancel trips as they were far away. Left with no option i had to come home with an auto.

                                    Dear #uberindia cab driver premkumar, the owner/driver of the maruti suzuki swift desire mh 04 gd 8308 picked me and my family around 11. 30 a. M. The scheduled trip showed a particular way on the map my family wasn't comfortable following. All we needed was the change of route according to our convenience and we were even ready to pay if any extra charges would follow our choice of route. However, the cabbie in refrence was adamant to follow the map. This lead to a heavy argument and we even sought the help of a local police emplyoee. The cabbie was ready to go to the poilce station but not ready to follow our instructions. Now, here is the question : as customers, paying for a service do we not have the right to choose what way our cab drives?

                                    I request uber india to formulate a better sructure to resolve our greviences so that we at least get the service we are paying for and the drivers do not take our energy, time and money for granted.

                                    As a customer, i demand a strict action to be taken against the said driver.

                                      I booked 2 cabs which were directly cancelled by drivers without any of information we were waiting at destination since long time n my father who is a patient has fractured leg waiting for cab 1st cab he wasn’t responding to calls n he himself decided to cancel the cab which was so rude he dint even keep the courtesy to inform us. We that ok it’s cancelled we booked other cab after waiting 20 minutes
                                      2nd cab driver he was such a # n rude he couldn’t come to the exact location, he was asking us to walk there. We refused him then he said ok then you don’t come i am cancelling your ride n cuz of this person we are charged penalty of cancellation of ride

                                        I booked a cab on feb 7th, after ride completion paid them through online. Next day when i tried to book it was showing outstanding payment. It was urgent, so u paid again, but it was still showing outstanding payment. Remember i already paid twice for the same trip and it's still keep on asking to pay more. When i lodged a complaint no one cared for few days. Fortunately someone replied saying they are checking. They have same template useless reply format for any query. They won't even understand. After few days of struggle, they canceled outstanding payment, when asked for refund for which i paid twice, they are simply closing the ticket and giving same template reply. Please lodge a complaint against uber. This happened earlier also with my cousin. It was too inconvenient for me spending all my time on uber all these days. Kindly help and advice
