In dec 2016 we booked uber cab from mullur to yemlur. That driver kept calling us saying he is in ambedkarnagar, unable to locate us and cancelled the trip, the charges of rs.50 were put on us. We waited for half hour, then took an auto and came back. Now i took a ride on[protected] from yemlur main road to new horizon college, orr, marthahalli opting for pooling. The charges were rs.39 and this old rs.50 added to that, the driver anand collected from me rs.89. Why should we pay this rs.50 extra when we didnt cancel the ride last year and the driver cancelled on his own. So i request u to refund the excess rs.50 collected and adjust against my future rides with uber.

Sir/madam today i booked a cab in sharing from laxmi nagar to usmanpur and it was costing me 71 rupees but that cab driver took 247 rupees as it was displaying on his screen
When i said him that it was about to cost me just 71 rupees he said he is not responsible for that but company is
So please solve this problem as soon as possible

    Hi team,

    this is disgusting how driver make fool of their customers. On Saturday I travelled from Delhi Airport to Shahdara in the night around 12 . My friend booked Uber for me and selected paytm option. When driver dropped me to the my destination, he said that his paytm is not showing amount paid and he would want cash of 700 rs. After lot of arguments with him, I had to pay cash to him as his Paytm wasn't working. Later there was same amount deduction from my friend paytm. When I am calling the driver and asking for refund. He has scolded me and saying very bad words, He said "Jo karna h karo I will not pay you money back". I raised complaint to Uber and they are just saying to me that we will not refund as you have paid cash and also not taking any action against driver. Please stop using UBER. If you will not respond. I will post this in social media and raise case in consumer forum for sure.

    I too faced the same problem recently. I booked cab for my parents for airport. The driver called me asking to pay him by cash as he has to use the money to fill fuel for his car. He also mentioned that PAYTM processing he will cancel from his side. Because of time constraint we did not cancel the booking. He took cash from my father. And PAYTM also got deducted after the trip was over. I wrote numerous feedback to UBER but they did not help:( I called the driver and he kept telling that PAYTM will reverse your amount.

    The driver also cheated by giving some random mobile number and name at the apartment security gate.

      I had used the uber service on 10.02.2018 from jakkasandra extn, koramangala i block to amc campus, bannerghatta road, wherein you had charged an amount of rs. 624/- stating that it includes the last balance of rs. 150/-. The driver mr shankar was very polite & a good driver. I was rigid to pay since i have not used that service. It is not correct on uber, that simply tortured the customer wherein i was late to the function due to your messy co-ordination. Please do not torture the customer's like this and also don't deduct from the driver.in fact i paid more than what i was suppose to pay. Please give an explanation is this is the way uber is treating a long standing customer where we are always using your service?

        This is to inform and bring to your notice that undersigned had taken a Uber ride as per below details. Undersigned was charged double for that trip. It was scheduled to be a payment from payTM account but since the driver didn’t received it through payTM had asked for cash payment. Due to lack of time since i had to catch a train to Gujrat i had made cash payment. Bill accounted was Rs. 523 and due to non availability of change with driver i paid him Rs. 540 in cash. After some time i noticed that Rs. 523 was also deducted from my wallet. Since then i have tried calling Mr. Devender(Driver) but he is not picking my call.

        I tried raising the issue with Uber help 3-4 times but still there is no response. Undersigned is a regular customer o[censored]ber. Request you to please return the amount of Rs. 540 to my wallet.

        Attached is receipt for the trip generated through Uber App for your reference.

          I booked uber cab and the charges at that time were showing 900-1200 rs, i took the ride and confirmed the price from driver as well he said it would be around 1000 rs and not more than that. When i reached to my destination the final charges were 2596 rs which is not slight higher but rather exorbitant amount that is taken by me. I am highly disappointed with such tactics that is used by these cab services who take advantage of customers and scandalize them. It would have acceptable had there been too much traffic but this was not the case either, for why they have charged me 2600 is not understandable. A justified amount is not a problem but when your app itself is showing that the amount will be this much how could you charge so arbitrarily.

            Dear sir/madam,
            My ride started from the "bangalore metro swami vivekanda stop" to "garudarcharpalya" which constitutes about 8kms in distance, but in uber pool it took 16 kms of travel.

            They, uber in the name of pool, are taking customers on a blind ride, because customer doesn't know where is he headed and how many kilometre they have to travel in extra. This is a problem for everyone including the ladies and children aswell. The situation maybe dangerous if this is at night. The customer cannot even get out of the cab or cancel the ride, and there won't be any safety assured in this kind o[censored]ber pool system

            There is no customer care for the grievance to be answered. The whole thing is all system updated they say. If this is the condition then, i think this is a security lapse for all the citizens of india.

            The customer should know the direction o[censored]ber pool if taken, and the choice should be left to travel whether they are interested to travel in the particular direction.

            Hope the grievance is taken seriously before any untoward incident happens.

              I’m rejina from egipura, we booked a uber cab on 10/02/2018 from egipura (6:23pm)  indian campus crusade for christ, kacharakanahalli, (7:01pm). Please refer attachment of the booking details.

              Driver name is raju as per true caller. Name appearing in the account is ramesh.

              When we got down, my husband placed his mobile on the front sea slab near mirror, to take his purse to pay the driver.
              He missed to take his mobile samsung j7. Within 5 minutes i called my husband’s number.
              It was switched off. We could not contact him directly because the number was routing to uber office & somehow we were not able to contact the customer care. Later, we headed to banaswadi police station to register a compliant. Through the help service in uber app. I was able to contact the driver. He confirmed the mobile was with him. He also told he would hand it over to us by 10pm.
              When we called him and asked him the reason for switching off the mobile, driver started acting really weird. The next day being sunday, when we came to uber office we learnt that it was closed on sunday. Trying to reach back to the driver, he is fooling around with us. He is telling us to come to forum, later told that the trip was cancelled, he is asking us to come to hebbal, vijaynagar and later telling us that his house is in sanjaynagar. We were ready to pay his diesel money to return to us. He is not ready to return the mobile.
              Again last night, he told we would handover to uber office @ 8am. But there was no news from him. He was not ready to come to murugeshpallya office but he says he would give it @ hrbr layout uber office. He is just fooling and playing around and giving stories whenever we call him & talking rudely to us.

              First of all, we wanted to the reason why the driver switched off our mobile within 5-10 minutes of getting down. What was his intention here?
              May be he taught the booking was done that mobile, therefore by switching off, we would not trace our mobile back?
              Secondly, any item picked should be handover to the office or the customer within the stipulated time. They can’t be fooling around a customer like this.

              I wanted to know what kind of service uber is providing us here, may i know your immediate response on this? It’s already been 3 days, we have not received our mobile yet.

              Yesterday evening i have cancelled one trip within just 2 mins since driver told it will take 18-20 mins to reach pickup destination..Hence there should not be any cancellation chgs, still it was levied and i had to pay..

              Request you to kindly refund my charges as soon as possible.

                Hi,
                This is regarding my trip dated 8th feb 2018. I was shown an amount of 189 while booking the cab. My pickup was the same. My drop was the same. I followed the same route as suggested by gps. I did not have any traffic also as such for which ride time charges would apply. I am trying to contact their customer support by raising the issue in their app from the past 4 days, but have received no response till date. Since it has been ongoing issue with uber, i also have screenshots of the trip, while waiting for the cab, during the trip, and when nearing the end of the trip.

                Hello,
                This is regarding my trip dated 13th February. I was shown a charge of 225, but was charged 339. I do not know why. I have raised multiple complaints to uber, but now they are saying that my destination was different. This was not the case. My pickup was same. My destination was also the same. The route was also the same. PFA the screenshots of the trip. I do not know how and when will this incorrect charging stop!

                    I have booked a uber cab on dated 08/02/2018 arround 06:30 pm from noida metro station to my home i. E. Upto sector 77. This was booked under pool category. The driver name is mr. Ravi.

                    He started the trip without reaching at my destination point. I tried to coordinate with him too many times. He left the destination without my pickup. I then called at emergency where mr. Suraj has given me a ring. I told him all the incidence. He then told me to cancel the trip and raised complaint against the driver at help section. For this trip i was charged of rs. 113 which i haven't taken and ride. After cancellation i booked the trip from same location to my home.

                    I made too many complaints to uber under help section. But these guys were not responding nor even taking any action against the driver. Even though they havent refunded the money till 11th feb, 2018.

                      I am a regular customer o[censored]ber. Sometimes my trip get cancelled by your driver which you can see in my account and the same get refunded.
                      But my query is i cannot understand your refund calculation. For example, on 8th feb 18, i have a trip from topsia to garihat, trip amount was rs 130/-. I have cheked from other uber account the amount was coming more or less same. I had a trip credit of rs 47 (Previois calcellation refund). After the completion of the trip i found the my credit disappeared.
                      Hope i have made very clear. Plz resolve this within 2 working days and refund all my previous credit immediately else i will go to higher authority.

                        On 9 feb i booked uber to go to airport and i got the confirmation that bhima shankar will come to pick me up at given time. Around that time i contacted driver and gave him instructions to come to my place however he did not come on time and i got a message from uber that due to not having drivers, the trip was cancelled. However the driver was standing in front of me and accepted to take me to airport. At the airport i paid him 75 rs. He gave no receipt. Then i get a message from uber that i have to pay 42/- rs as cancellation charges and until i pay that they will not accept my future bookings. I think this will happen only in india where cheating and fraud is so rampant. I have already reported this to uber but it seems that it is under control of wrong people. From the statistics it seems that the company may be originated in western world it's working in india is as per culture here.

                        I was contacted by Uber on 12 feb and have waived the charges they had levied wrongly. That is just like in any developed country should happen. I have requested them that they should take serious view of such complaints where drivers have made a buck on side lines after delaying the service and cancelling the trip on their own through the Uber controllers. One can always find some of my countrymen to indulge in such practice but they do not realise that they are doing a dis-service to their organisation. Unfortunately in my country punishment is hard to come by, is not severe and deterrent and many o[censored]s do not complain. I thanked the Uber for their prompt action.

                          My name is terence phillips and i am a regular user o[censored]ber.
                          On friday evening at around 5.30 i booked a uber to take me from alpine castle - sopan baug pune to fatima nagar in pune.
                          The driver i think his name was vilas, im not sure, he said that he is at magarpatta and that he did not think it worth his trouble to take me to my destination. He called me via phone no[protected]. And asked me to cancel my booking. I refused to cancel my booking and requested him to honour his responsibility but he refused to listen to me.
                          I however repeated to him that i am not going to cancell my booking and that he should decided what he wanted to do.
                          I waited for him for about 10 mins but received no further communication from him so i hired a rickshaw to take me to my destination.
                          When i was already at my destination i received a message from your company saying that since the driver had cancelled the trip i should book another trip.
                          I did not need to travel again so why would i book a trip.
                          I also got another call from phone no.[protected] from another driver infoming me that he had arrived at my residence and waiting for me.
                          I told him that i no longer needed a drive/uber service, but he kept saying that he is at my residence. I think his name is vilas. I told him that i could not do anything as i did not book another trip when my first driver did not arrive
                          I am aghast to see that you have charged me rs42.50 as cancellation charges. I am shocked because i did not cancel any trip. Your driver cancelled the trip so why should i be penalised for it
                          This is very unethical and unfair.
                          I request that you please reverse the cancellation charges and credit the same to my account at the earliest.
                          I am a regular user o[censored]ber and i hope and trust that u will respond in a professional and ethical manner

                            On 8th feb 18 again i face a prblm with uber. The payment is done by credit payment but driver asked me to pay cash money. The payment is deducted from credit money as well as he forced me to pay cash also. The receipt show rs 0 but when driver stops ride in his account rs 71 in cash is shown. Because mode of payment cash is shown instead of credit money.

                            I also complain in uber help but no reply has been received from them.

                            Please help me.

                              - 10th feb 2018, 5:15 am to 6 am (45 mins wasted attempting to get a cab)

                              - 7 cabs denied me duty due to drop location

                              - 5 cabs tried from one phone, 2 cabs tried from another phone

                              - i called all of them, they all responded and asked where my drop location was. Since it was 15 kms away or in a certain part of the city where they didn't want to go at the morning hours, (Near brigade road) they all said they will come to pick me up but then switched off their phones or didn't pick up the calls and the cabs weren't moving even after waiting for 5 to 10 mins and calling each of them multiple times. One guy even cancelled on his own.

                              - due to this i missed an important sports event i wanted to go for at the st. Joseph's college, for which i had already bought tickets.

                                There have been two distinct cases o[censored]ber cab agregator resorting to allocating second shared co-passenger allocating a second rider at nearly 10 km[9km plus] in entirely different route from the destination route of the first rider[me, in this case, today, my last ride about an hour ago]. The most nice part is the driver of my car is very patient and very courteous and has been very politely pleading with the leaders at the other side of his channel to complain about situations. By allocating riders like this, the agregator is not only putting all the drivers at continual stress but also indirectly and in some instances, directly the customers at a great disadvantage. At one instance, i walked down a part of journey while cab was taking detour to an entirely divergent path, and other occassions, i did not mind crossing a road and troubling my self in order to avoid a big u turn for fellow co passenger. While own vehicles are being used for nearly 10 km for mere 36 inr, there is absolutely no sense in punishing a hard working driver with such hardships which does not even fetch that poor driver his fuel expenses, leave along how much all the riders would have to go through in delays

                                And additional info is, the driver can not cancel such allocations and only the onus of cancellation rests with the requestor rider, and due to some reason the customer does not cancel, the driver has to undergo the entire ordeal or driving the car, and at end of the same, not sure, if the second rider would really honour the ride, given the time of arrival and may have paired up with fellow co-workers or changed mind to use this ride

                                  Today when i booked uber, it was completing a trip and the ongoing trip's destination was almost near to my pick up point. So even though it was far, i waited for 30 mins. After it reached driver called and ask about drop locatio and i told my destination. Then i could see my cab was near only and when i was about to sit he told he doesnt want to go to my location and he got a trip for whitefield. And when i tried to convince him he was very rude. It was very horrible experience. Even though he cancelled trip i dont have any option in uber app to report the issue às driver cancelled trip gets removed automatically from trip list.                                     I booked a cab with ubergo on 1st feb 2015 but had to cancel as the driver had somebody accompanying him in the car. Upon questioning as to why he had somebody accompanying, he said he had to drop his relative near by. I decided to cancel the cab citing my security, though the driver said the other person would leave from the car at my location itself. Please let me know how do i get the cancellation fee back, as i don't see any viable option...

                                    Please take action on it. One of the uber driver saved my wife no. And shared with his friends. They are calling her mid night as well.

                                    Uber company should take proper action on it or else we will file case against uber company as misuse of our contacts.

                                    I[censored]ber management does not fit to resolve better to close the company and please don't spoil others time.

                                    Keep in mind "customer is king".
                                    Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      Why I have been charged wrongly??? Instead of 510rs why he changed trip and made it 1276rs ? I need my money back in my account or else I gonna lodge complaint against driver and uber
                                      Iam not able to access my account and uber is charging undue outstanding amount.

                                      Uber is not letting me solve the uber application issue, because nither iam able to access my account .
                                      I have purchased the uber pass then also uber is charging overcharging on all trip .They are charging only for 10 km 250/300 rs everytime when i am trying to book i am getting this price
