Really shocked that a senior citizen discount of rs.750 that was 2 have been applicable 2 me since 1 feb has not been initiated so far. Have written 15+ times & keep getting replies from different agents but no action.
I turned 60 on 15 oct and had filled up the form and sent it. I got the discount for oct and it was automatically renewed for nov. Since then it has been an uphill battle.
In dec, after complaining, i was given an adhoc credit of 750. After a similar continuous complaining i got another credit in jan.
In feb, i raised the issue on 2nd feb itself. Different agents write back and give different excuses or reasons but there is no action.
This is really the limit.

    Hi! This is anil sharma. On my trip starting at 2:54pm today i. E 28.02.18, from dlf phase-3, to mg road metro station by ritz, driver ram kumar, the driver did not want to come to pick me. Probably i woke him up. But i did not cancel the trip. He came and as he started the ride started also talking on phone with his friends. I asked him to either stop the car and talk or stop the phone. He started abusing me and told me to get out of the car. I did not and instead called the police control room. Police took 15 minutes to come (And i kept getting billed for the hold up for no fault of mine). Police came and sorted the matter by asking me to consider garib aadmi. As it is i am ill and was going to see a doctor which i could not do because of delay in reaching and appointment getting canceled. I had to instead come back home. This is not the first time drivers o[censored]ber misbehave. One more thing there is a tendency of them to know where we want to go before coming to us and ask us to cancel for which you charge us.

    Here is what i want to be actioned by uber in this case:
    1) refund this money and other charges of cancellation deducted in last one month because it was due todrivers insistance and me not knowing i will get a debit.
    2) this particular car and driver should be terminated by uber immediately and proof of the same sent to me.
    3) if however that does not happen, i will have to fir against the driver and uber and sue uber for harrasment and unethical conduct.

      Yesterday we took a ride from kandivali to thane in mumbai. While booking the ride the indicative amount for the ride showed up as rs.630/-. However, when we reached our destination the bill amount was rs.1265/-. Even the cab driver was surprised since the distance we travelled was just 24 kms whereas the travel shown by the uber system was 68 kms. The driver contacted customer care and reported the error. Customer care advised the driver to recover the billed amount from client (Me) and then to register a complaint and claim refund. We made the payment of rs.1265/- and registered complaint on uber app
      Upon registering the complaint, we receive a prompt reply from uber that this was a system error and a refund of rs.632/- has been credited in' uber credit' in my account and this can be used up during my next ride with uber. Which means that i was stuck with uber. This is kind of arm twisting. I kept on writing to them that i want the refund as 'bank credit'and not as uber credit as i may or may not uber service in future and i do not want to have my money stuck. But they denied a refund through bank mode and sort of blackmailed us that i will have to uber service only to encash this balance (Refunded) available as 'uber credit'

        My destination every day is new udupi upahar nagawara, bangalore) which falls on the right side of the road when i get up from my pickup location (This is my work place, hence it is fixed). But invariably my drop location on the driver's phone shows on the left side of the street and it's impossible to cross the road because there are huge vertical dividers. Hence i always hv to tell drivers to take u-turn & drop me at my drop location. The drivers say that their trip has ended on the left side of the road, hence they won't take me to my actual drop point bcz the u-turn is quite far. The next signal is veeranapalya cross and obviously i won't walk that much. When i set the location in very careful to select it properly but it's infuriating that for the driver the location is on the left side of the divider and for my phone it's on the right side of the divider. It's extremely annoying and i hate getting into verbal conflicts almost every day!

          Hey! I travelled on saturday using uber. When i chose uber in the afternoon, the fare was 99₹
          When i reached my destination 300₹ got deducted from my account. What is this? How can uber do this?? I want my money back!!!

            Last week i have been given MON-Thu incentive of Rs 2750 for making 40 trips, which is quit simple to do on very last day that is Thursday on completion of 40th trip they send an SMS stating improper trip done and thus they will not give the incentive. And trust me after paying money to driver and petrol, only incentive is left behind for my incentive purpose. Please take necessary action so that i can get my money. I had requested many time but every time they says its system identification so they cant help.

              A driver driving a grey wagon r-mh 02 cr 3192, outside pvr cinemas sion at 4.10 pm on 27th february 2018. He spoke rudely to my son while i wanted to park my car and uber car was in the way. Having told him to go ahead he gives rude signs to my son. When i got down to talk to him he was not pullibg down the window inspite of me tapping on it. Later he pulled it down. When told to apologise he said he wont. He started to shout at the top of his voice. Instead of being polite he was throwing attitude. We dont require such cab drivers. Kindly look into the matter

                Hi team,
                I booked a ride from santa cruz to bhayender (Mumbai) yesterday, i have below query.
                While booking the ride uber app shows me fare around rs. 447 on my mobile. But after completing the ride fare shown on driver mobile was rs.190. While enquire with driver he told us that some network issue on his mobile & i have to pay according to my mobile app fare, that was rs 447. Just wanted to know if my mobile shows less fare than driver mobile so will he accept that? I have attached the cab number along with driver name. You can check with my booking history with provided number that i am a frequent customer o[censored]ber. Waiting for a fruitful response.

                  It is with great dismay that I am writing this complaint. When I was travelling in uber pool, the driver talked very indecently to me, just because I told him the right way. When I tried to tell him it was not the right way, not only did he not listen but also stopped the car and asked me to get out. Then I told him I will complain about it, he suddenly attacked me and threw me off the road. I took my phone to note the number and take his photo, he threw my phone away and broke its display. That phone just cost me Rs. 20000/-. I have injuries to my hands. I need you to take necessary action against this.

                    Name of the diver is mohan date 10/2/2018 i booked a cab from my end location is correct. First he did not reached at correct destination but still i called him and made him understand where i am standing he said ok he will be there i was waiting for him cause i was in need of cab at that time i have to go to my son school to pick him up he is waiting there. I kept on waiting for him as i don't want to cancel but he cancelled the ride and he did not even reached and when i called him and ask why did you cancelled the ride he said book another one which irritated me a lot as i was waiting for him even i told him don't cancel as i have to pay extra charge which is not my fault but did not listen and cancelled and told me he cancelled now pay. This how the professional firm work such kind of drivers i mean disgusting

                      On 24th feb 2018 we booked a uber from cubbon park to jayanagar t block (Thilak nagar) the vehicle was a maruthi suzuki and the driver name is mahesh. The vehicle no kao5 6550. And the middle alphabet i dont remember.
                      After paying for the vehicle while getting down i forgot to take my mobile which i had kept in the draw in front of the front seat. Immediately after few seconds we realised we had missed the mobile and we started to call but the driver did not respond and he has not come back with the mobile. It is a micromax canvas mobile with black flip cover. Please help me find my mobile because all my contacts and my personal information and photos are in the mobile. So i once again kindly request you to find my mobile. The sim in the mobile is a airtel sim and the number is [protected]. And i had booked the uber on that day with the same number.

                        Rs 471 were automatically deducted from my paytm account without asking me for that and then when i asked this through their app they said they have refunded the same and told me to change my password. After i changed the password i have not been able to sign in again in the app using the same mobile number and the new password. However i can still login through uber's website using my email id and that new password. I have sent many mails regarding this through the website but no reply yet. The website only shows me one trip and that too of 2016 for which i have no issues and hence i can't complain for the trip that i am concerned to.

                          I have been levied undue charges of 58 rs even though i have made the payment. All through the route driver remained very rude. When i reached my destination my bill came out to be 147.58. I didn't have enough change. And i was getting late for office so i paid to the driver 140. There was difference of only few rs and your app is showing 58 rs remaining. Iam regular ride o[censored]ber and ola and only for this few rs uber company obstructed my booking of next cab. This is so unprofessional. Driver was also talking very rudely

                            Uber fraud:
                            An uber trip from bangalore airport to snn raj serenity, yelenahalli village cost me almost twice of what uber shown me while booking.
                            At first it seems to be a case of driver taking longer route, taking tolls and then the final reciept includes the extra distance and the already paid tolls.
                            While all these are true but it's more than that where uber also cheats you along with it's driver.
                            So here it all started:
                            I booked a cab from airport to my home for my in laws using uber app on my phone. The amount shown during booking was 850 rupees, while ola was showing it around 1000 at that time.
                            Cab started at 3:58 pm and reached to my home at 6:06 pm that can be seen in the time of receipt generation that they provided me.
                            On the way to home the driver took toll charges (Around 200) from them once at airport toll gate and another at nice road. Now first of all they are not supposed to take toll charges and when i spoke to driver later he said rules have changed and now customer has to pay the toll from 1st feb. Again going to my house taking nice road is not at all imaginable while coming from airport. Just look into the map and you'll understand.
                            So, when the driver shown final bill of 1580 rupees on his phone i can understand this to be true but why should i pay the extra chareges if i just asked to go home while the driver has taken them to bangalore darshan instead.
                            Now i thought to complaint to uber for the extra distance and the toll charges as they have got these options while asking for refund in their help section.
                            But here is what i see that intially thought to be a technical issue but later i could understand to be uber fraud that they might be doing to many of their customer.
                            I had got a receipt of rs. 326 rupees that includes 164 rupees of toll charges and a drop location just before airport toll gate at 4:05 pm. The mail has come just after my family reached home at 6:06 pm and when i tracked the cab at 6 pm, it was showing to me still the destination as my home and that it is still ont he way so it's not possible that the trip had got ended by mistake at 4:05 pm.
                            Now i know that uber has got all the ways like checking with driver, checking their system for recipet generated for driver and customer, tracking the cab for the duration of travel, etc. To resolve the issue if it was just some technincal glitch but they seems to be for some reason not ready to look into the matter.
                            Any questions asked to them get you a standard response that any amount paid over the final share shown on the driver's screen is your mistake and they are not ready to accept that the driver's screen had an amount of 1580 rupees on it and hence we paid 1600 rupees. Also the driver had given us the toll receipt that would not happen if toll is not paid by customer.
                            Here are few questions asked to uber that they are yet to answer and that exposes their fraud:
                            1. If the amount shown during booking shows x amount how can you ask us to pay y, if we have not changed the route oursleves.
                            2. If toll charge is forced to be paid by customer, and he has got the receipt also how can you not refund the toll amount charged in bill.
                            3. How come the driver's screen and the final receipt sent to customer are different.
                            4. How come the receipt sent to the customer says trip ended at 4:05 pm when the cab reached customer's home at 6:06 and the receipt got generated at 6:06 pm.
                            5. For the receipt sent to customer, the bill amount of 326 includes 164 rs toll amount while the drop location is just before airport toll gate.
                            6. Why are you not ready to ready to investigate the issue when there are clear technical issue like trip end time and receipt generation time and cab actually reaching to the destination while the receipt suggest something else.

                              Drive was very rude and unhelpful. My mom was patient and i asked him to move the car inside my street but he refused saying that his car could be damaged. I requested him as my mom is a debete patient but he never should any concern and started being towards me... This is one of the bad experience i had with uber. Even ola drivers are quite helpful.!!

                                Hi,

                                I have booked a cab today from kolappakkam, porur to pergugalthur at 2:30 pm using the payment mode as card. While booking the cab it showed me an amount for rs.240 and till completing the trip it showed the same amount. But when i came to pay the bill amount it shows me as rs.459.

                                Also in the invoice it is showing the time and distance as 82.27 and 227.59, but the actual distance and time is 52:04 and 27.10. Please see attached.

                                I will be paying the cash if only you revise the invoice amount as 240. So please check and revise the invoice to pay the bill.

                                  I reached the kochi international airport on the 19th of february 2018 at 8.25 am and booked uber immediately after coming out of the airport to go my destination at sn junction, nettoor, eranakulam. I got the confirmation from a driver named rahul, a maruti suzuki swift dezire regn no. Kl63d7181 that he is arriving in 5 minutes. But i waited for 45 minutes. He did not arrive. To add to the bad treatment i got from this man he did not pick my call inspite of my at least 10 calls.

                                    I am really get frustrated from your service and from help department. Since one week i am complaining you guys about a trip and i did not get any solution till now. Pfa the image in this mail of trip.

                                    Issue: i booked share cab on 16/02/2018 at 6:01 pm from nda, pashan road, pune (Source) to platinum tower, wakad, pune (Destination) but your sad and bugged app take source (Nda, pashan road, pune) and destination same, that i have no idea hows it possible and it was showing a full route to of 5 km for same location. I meant seriously a hilarious and pathetic event simultaneously happen with me.

                                    Please check your help otherwise give me i will debug that free of cost as i am not cheap like you guys.

                                    After that the most pathetic thing is that it charged 194.18 rupees from my paytm for 5 km ride if it is 30-40 inr thats not and 194.18 rupees i meant are you serious what do you want should i clap for that or what.

                                    I asked for help from one week from my app but you guys have only one answer sorry bla bla we can't refund. And i am saying call me to solve the issue you guys said we don't support call services as i already got lots of call from you guys but this time i have issue thats why you don't support. Great response i got from (Rajeev k., monica, balraj s.,) through help option of app pun intended as they are saying sorry from one week and no one is helping me in refund.

                                    This is the whole issue so i want my 194.18 back in y account anyhow asap before 48 hours.

                                    This is the cheap and ridiculous incident happened with me on which everyone in laughing on you app. At least your competitors (Ola) helped as early as possible as they don't want to loose their daily customer. As i my your daily customer so please have some curtsy now and provide me the refund asap with penalty.

                                    Waiting for your response and refund me within 48 hours otherwise get ready for action.

                                      Hi in my trip of 24 feb 2018. I booked a uber at around 11:00 then driver call be and said he can not comes as it is to far and ask me to cancel. But i say i can not do that as it cuts my money every time after cancel. So i asked him to come or cancel from your end if possible. Then a second driver called after few minutes and did the same question and ask where i want to go. I said i have urgent work so please come fast he said he will come and then i see my trip got assigned to other driver so is still completing his trip. Now it reaches at 1130 so basically i tried to save time by not going via bus but if may took it at 11 i would have reach my destination at 1230 with 10 rs where i reached same destination at 1230 only but with 230 rs payment. This are one of my last trip if same this happen like this i will stop using uber

                                        I am a regular customer o[censored]ber. But in recent past i have seen that uber is allocating taxi whose driver is already on a trip. It increases the wait time and at times going as high as 25 min.in addition the location of taxi doesn’t match with actual location due to which a number of phone call takes place. Hope this issues are resolved at the earliest.
                                        Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
