Driver didn't end the trip at destination saying it has already been ended but due to some network issue it didn't end. later I received the bill for amount 1242.3 that was almost 5 times the indicated bill. Later on investigation I found that the drop location is different than mine. Request you to please look into the matter.

    I had booked a uber ride in bangalore. The driver cancelled the ride and uber has charged rs.157 for this and they are insisting i pay this amount alongwith my next ride with uber. I have been telling that i am at no fault and i am not willing to pay for the mistake of the driver.

    They are trying to make extra money by charging unwanted charges on the customers. The drivers o[censored]ber are acting stupid by cancelling the trips and dropping at different locations putting us into problems.

    They need to be treated properly.

      Dear sir,

      I would like to bring to your notice about the wrong doing o[censored]ber bangalore. On 17th jan around 1.15am i booked uber car from bangalore airport to vidyaranyapura. Called the driver at 1.19am and confirmed the pickup point as no 6. Before disconnecting the call, driver asked my final destination. I kept waiting but driver didn’t turn up. His mobile was switched off.

      Then, i approached the uber ground staff for help. They asked me to cancel the trip and book again. I noticed, if i cancel the trip then uber is charging me rs.150+ as cancellation fee. This was not fare as it was the driver who didn’t turn up. I declined to cancel the trip and asked the ground staff for help again. They said they can’t help and asked me to take some other ride. I kept trying to call the driver till 1.48am but his no. Was continuously switched off. Then i took another transport to my home.

      To my surprise, i got an email from uber that they are not able to charge my cc for rs. 1525.53 through email, please note the following in the in bill:

      • trip start time 1.16am and end time is 9.19am to cover 24.12km.
      • the driver didn’t even come to pick me from the pickup point, but shown trip start at 1.16am which was my trip booking time.
      • it took more than 8 hours to cover 24km.
      • drop address is “ aakaar bangalore ceramics rd, r t nagar, yelahanka, bengaluru, karnataka 560064, india” which is not my address.

      Please note, uber will never try to charge my cc after any trip, but they did try this time but could not do it as my cc didn’t allow them. For every other trips, i will also make the payment myself from my cc after the trip completion.

      I would also like to highlight that uber has declined to give us invoice with gst but all bills are charged with gst. As we use uebr for our official work and we have to add our company gst in all invoices. Uber declined to do so and still sending us the bills without our company gst.

        Date - 18th jan 2018.
        This complaint is about uber's pooling method. Setting up routes by uber is a disaster where riders are added without any alignment of route or distance to the destination.
        Journey was from ats one hamlet sector 104 to sector 60. En route, near amity university, new rider added from jal vayu vihar - so, approx 10 km added in this detour. This rider's destination was sector 58 and then came to final destination of sec 60!
        This routing system is a joke. That too in peak times where the journey takes double the time. How does it make sense to make a car return on a route to pick up new rider from approx 10 km???
        The worst part? Driver cannot do anything - can't cancel! Rider cannot do anything as one cannot check where the fixed ride is going to decide whether to cancel or keep the ride! And forget about the passenger already sitting - they are literally sitting ducks at the mercy of the the so called wonderful software that plans these journeys!
        Uber, if you tell people that pooling is service designed to help people and environment, please let that show! Today's experience in one of many.

          We hired uber pb 01 b 4001 from phase 6, mohali at 9.05 pm.

          On reaching destination when we paid him rs 2000 note he tried to run away without paying back any balance. When we tried to stop him & stood in front of car, he threatened to crush us & sped away using abusive language to ladies with us.

          Detail mention on the vehicle were wrong. (Photo of car & detail enclosed)

            I was travelling from my home to office on 12thjan, my everyday route and uber should also have the same data with them. I home is near sultanpur and office in gurgaon. Uber has deducted a toll fee of rs 100 on uberpool!! Seriously!! And on top of that they say that its as usual. I dont understand why just for one day haryana govt took that toll on mcd for haryana and not everyday. Mcd toll is for the taxis entering to delhi. Please dont make me a fool. Its your app malfunctioning or anything else. But i have been replying to uber's mail since then and its now going to be 1 week and still the people are trying to justify that the toll of 100 to travel from delhi border to gurgaon is valid. And i am telling that toll should be applied when you are entering in delhi and not going out. Can i have a resolution on this. Please provide me a escalation mail id i will share all the other details.

              Today on january 17, 2018, i had an appointment with doctor at safdarjung hospital, new delhi. So i booked a uber cab at 10.49 a. M. The cab assigned was maruti suzuki wagon r no. Xxxx3855 and the driver's name was mahavir. The cab did not reach me till 11:43 a. M. At my location (My home registered with uber) and, thus, i missed my appointment with doctor. The most unfortunate thing is that the driver (Mahavir) cancelled the trip without contacting me. Over and above this, the uber cab is now asking me to pay cancellation charge of rs. 42. Please note that i did not cancel the trip.
              In the web-page o[censored]ber on my mobile or on my desktop there is no telephone number where i can talk to explain my position.

                There absolutely is no way i can call you. Since you have not got back to me even after i complained on your app. Today morning i booked an uber and called to check with the driver. He asked me about my destination and flatly refused to take me, and asked me to cancel the ride. When i flatly refused i don't know what he did because he did not turn up to pick me even after 20 minutes which is crucial time in the morning. The driver's name is kameshwar kumar and vehicle no is dl1rta1035. I did not cancel and had to make last minute arrangements after waiting for more than 20 minutes. I don't know why i should pay for this inconvenience.

                  Hello,

                  Since january 8th 2017, Uber has been overcharged me 4 times. I have contacted Uber through app and ask them escalate this issue with leadership team. However they have not responded to my messages and did not refund the overcharged amount to my account yet. I would like to make a formal complaint against them since they try to steal money.

                    I have booked UberGo on 13th Jan 2018 at 16:00 Hrs from Prestige Tech park to Airport Bangalore. He asked me to cancel the ride & promised me to dropped at airport & I'll get receipt I paid him 942/- which was Uber amount after dropping. I even provided him my mail id & called him to take update.

                    He said that I will get receipt of paid amount via email id. but i still haven't received any mail for driver/Uber service. now that driver is not responding my call & I've been charged also for cancellation even when driver asked me to cancel the ride.

                    Uber India has no grievance system to handle customer complaints. Even Uber app help has no option where rider can express their feedbacks.
                    Whatever email id are available to contact has permanently blocked to take messages.
                    Uber should be shut if they don't want run their show according to India.

                    I have already stopped using Uber. Got such a bad experience, specially when you go outstation they take advantage of tourist.

                      Sir/madam,

                      I booked a cab on 14th january 2018 at 8:29 pm for which i was charged 299.79 inr paid via paytm.
                      From: surya kiran building, vishweshwarapura, basavanagudi, bengaluru-560004, india
                      To: 1026, 1st cross road, 3rd stage, bhoomi reddy colony, new tippasandra, bengaluru-560075, india.
                      Car model: tata indica

                      I left my redmi note 3 (Broken screen) in the back seat of the car. The phone was charged to about 70% and in switched on condition. I tried to locate my phone by calling on the number:
                      +91 [protected] (Also the number used to book the cab)
                      But the phone was switched off an hour after drop off. I tried calling the driver through your uber app (Lost item locator query). The driver mostly did not pick the phone.
                      After several attempts, he picked up and mentioned that he had the phone and took our secondary contact number:
                      +91 [protected] and name.
                      So that he could contact us. But when we asked for his number, he replied vaguely and was not willing to listen to us.
                      He mentioned that he would come to indira nagar, bengaluru and give us a call so that we can come and collect it, but did not respond properly to our further queries regarding the time of meeting, etc and did not give out his number so that we could contact him directly and put the phone on hold abruptly while we were speaking.
                      As of 15th january 2018, 3:00 pm we did not receive any call from him, so we tried contacting him again through the uber app, but he replied in the same vague fashion and kept saying he will contact us when he comes to indira nagar, bengaluru.
                      We mentioned that we could come and collect it at any place he mentions but again he did not reply to this and cut the phone.
                      The phone is still switched off at the moment, whereas it should have been on at the current moment given the amount of battery it had.
                      The driver is now not picking up the calls from the uber helpline as well. So we have no means to contact him and he is not given us any update on how he could return the phone or how we can go and collect the phone.
                      The driver has been very vague in his replies about the same, we have recorded a conversation with him which would prove that he has the phone in his possession.
                      We request you to get in touch with the driver as he is a contractor with your company so he might be more responsive to your calls and you could ask him to do either of the following:

                      1. Deliver the phone to the uber office so that we can collect it from there [ since he keeps mentioning that he would come to indira nagar and deliver the phone but never does so].
                      2. Give us a location where we could meet him and collect the phone from him. [ to this also he did not want to negotiate a common meeting place].
                      3. If he agrees, then he could come to indira nagar as he has been mentioning in the two phone conversations we have had with him, and given that he would not be willing to come to the place without any scheduled trip, we are willing to pay the amount uber would charge for a trip from his location to indira nagar and back to his location if needed.

                      Please look into the matter as it is expected that the uber drivers be more cooperative towards customers especially in such situation. This would turn out to be an extremely bad experience for us as a rider with uber due to the actions of one driver not willing to talk to us about a lost item and switching off a perfectly charged and functioning phone by himself.

                      Hi,
                      I m your almost a regular customer but now a days your services being very pathetic.
                      I took a ride today and while on ride I kept my cookies in cab and left away to nearest place till the time I came back he ate my half chocolates and when I asked to him he said I am sorry I forgot that I m on ride. When I scolded he said I'll give you lower rating.
                      I thought he is a good driver so after taking one ride from South ex to Noida I booked the same cab for other rides too.
                      Even he was good all the way, but it was a terrible incident which I didn't expect.

                        Uber may sound easy & convenient but unfortunately its services are not. Kindly do not trust on the fare mentioned while booking as it intend to charge as they like with there dumb software intelligence. Its actually ridiculous that it charged you with unnecessary charges for which you're not at all responsible.

                        I registered my new mobile number and email id on Uber App. completed one ride without any issue. Then due to some issues deleted the app by mistake. reinstalled the app and tried to login with my cell no. It keeps giving same error message that this mobile number is already in use and cant be transferred to another account.

                        Customer support is one of the most dumb stupidiest I have encountered so far, sending them an email generates an automated email reply with exact same text message repeatedly...i.e. "We received this email from a different email address than the one you initially used to contact us" although I have always used the same email id ! This whole sequence has been repeated dozen times already till now since last 2 months and I am using Ola not being able to use Uber.
                        The stupid customer care doesnt realize how much business is turning away from their door to directly to their rival, never to return back !
                        I registered my new mobile number and email id on Uber App. completed one ride without any issue.                         That was the App and the Customer support another pain in the a**.                           I'm fed up with excess fares charged by uber. They charge more than 100 in excess to each trip fare shown while booking the cab. Even after purchasing passes which is 129 flat on uber go i'm forced to pay 277, 350 and more on my less than 10 km regular trip to office each day. They are openly cheating their customers and no one is there to ask them or check the malpractices they are openly practicing. I need refund of all the excess charges paid till now and really need someone to help so that uber can stop taking advantage of its customers.

                            I have book uber for same place for distance but you have charged 3rd times higher for same distance ride. Its very bad experience with uber. I want my money back what you have charged extra.

                            One day i have selected debit card option for payment, that day i have to pay by debit card & there after have add last ride price again in other ride.

                              Would like to bring to your notice that driver was facing issue searching my place. He was not able to follow simple navigation. I was calling him to explain the route as well.. I was the one waiting for him and what i find is drivers are charging waiting charges. It is not about the about the amount charged.. This is complete unprofessional ism reflected by drivers. I keep standing outside the balcony of my home and wait for him and as the car comes i see it from there and go. And they are waiting charge for what, obviously i will not stand on road. They kept me waiting and charge waiting charges,

                              Please guide your drivers. It is not about the money.. It is about the customer satisfaction and value drive out of it.

                              Ideally waiting charges are charged after 5 min when a driver arrives at the location.

                                I booked an uberpool on 15.01.2018 at 8.59 am from sec 12 a panchkula to sector 17 chandigarh. I was shown fare to be paid rs. 139.71/- after giving me discount of rs. 50/- by applying a promo code. Seeing this fare, i booked the cab.
                                But to my surprise and utter dismay i was charged rs. Rs. 197.64/- on my card.
                                This is wrong on part o[censored]ber. I wrote a complaint in the help section o[censored]ber app and they replied that they have charged what they have shown. However i still have receipt of my booking in which after availing rs.50/- discount i was offered charge to be paid rs. 139.71/-.
                                I want immediate refund of rs. 57.93/-. Screenshot of my recept attached herewith.

                                  I booked ubergo for travelling from delhi cantt area at 9:17 am to ambience mall gurgaon. I noticed that my uberapp was showing "on trip' status just after booking and when asked about the same with the driver, he said it happened by mistake and would refund the small fee to me at the end, to which i was like it's ok no problem, it would be small amount let it be!.
                                  He dropped me off and as i was getting late for office, i rushed inside and settled at my workdesk at around 09:40 am.
                                  It took me some time to realise that i have not received amount deduction msg from paytm and not even rating the driver notification from uber. On checking the uberapp, i got to know that the trip was on and the guy has taken u turn from gurgaon to delhi and has not cancelled the trip. I called the driver but to no help, he just dismissed the call.in order to stop the trip, given no other option, i cancelled the trip.!
                                  At 9:52 am i got the msg that rs.470/- is deducted from paytm on account o[censored]ber ride, which normally is around rs.170/- to rs.190/- every morning.
                                  The trip receipt shows airport waiting fee of rs.157.50/- (Don't know from where does that come from) and rs.105/- delhi toll (Which is paid when you enter delhi and not when you enter gurgaon). Notified uber through help option. But its been more than 24 hours but no reply.

                                    I took a uber frpm jilika path panjabari, guwahati 37, assam to narayana superspeciality hospital, amingaon, north guwahati in which md anowar was the driver. He drove a maruti alto car with licence plate as25bc8661, the charge of the entire journey was rs 291.87 but in a hurry i did not see the amt in his dedice nor i see mine while the driver kept rs 391 but when i see my recipe later i got to know the amount is rs 291.87. Pl look into the matter and take necessary action. We want honest driver

                                    But A/C in car was not working and driver said it is out of order. Other wise the driver was nice, polite and fairly good and careful in driving.

                                      I hired a uber cab on 4th January from Noida to Bhairon Mandir. The driver was Saleem with the cab no.License Plate: DL1RTB1396.
                                      When I dropped down at the destination, I found my cell phone left behind in the cab. I called up on my phone within couple of minutes but it was switched off by then. I contacted the Uber customer care and asked for the driver number but they refused to share any details and told me to lodge a complaint via email.
                                      This is really very irresponsible from Uber that they didn't help during the urgent need. Even I lodged the complaint on their portal but no acknowledgement or response so far.
                                      I need an strict action to be taken at the earliest possible.

                                        UBER is cheating with drivier partners

                                        For fare issue and toll this ### happening again and again I got a trip from kial airport to city drop in that trip kms was showing 6.33 kms old has covered time has taken 1hour 14minutes

                                        The actual kms has covered 45kms
                                        In the uber maps is showing them that destination is only 32kms.

                                        In that Google map was showing the road.but actually there is new road constructed was going on but it still not open. When I informed them like this they are not getting my point and I did not got a toll in this and not even proper fare...
                                        Customer service is also not good they are all ### people...
