I have been using uber ride from kameshwar elegence gota to sal institute of engg and techonology, ahmedabad for past some days and from my home charges are around rs.96. Today driver of vehicle number 1248 charged rs.150 plus stating that there is arrears of yesterday for vehicle cancelled. So far as yesterday was concerned i had requested for a ride and my destination distance is 20/25 minutes. Your co. Connected me a ride coming in 12 minutes i was waiting and after 5/6 minutes it disappeared and you connected to another ride again giving 12 minutes time. I rang up driver and he said he is at vaishnodevi and starting. The time period in mobile app was not updating and i rang up to know fate 2 times but he was not contactable as coming out of reach. I had no time to wait as delay could cause me loss and i had no option but to cancel the trip. Is it my only fault and such a big penalty without using vehicle? Please revert

    I have purchased a Ride Pass from Uber India. The pass is for "Flat" Rs. 89 for 15 of their Go rides for 28 days. On multiple occasions, I was charged Rs. 200+ even after applying the Ride Pass.
    The first time they reverted the additional amount that was charged. But this is happening again and again. Even after complaining, they haven't resolved the issue.
    The SMS from Uber clearly states:
    "Buy a Ride Package and pay one fare everyday!Enjoy flat fares of Rs. 89 on GO and Rs. 99 on PREMIER for 28 days".
    The meaning of flat rates means there should be no other charges (apart from any tolls)

      My name is madhav koparkari, i booked an uber cab on monday jan 8, 2018 at 20:55 :14 hrs from saraswati nilayam society, chittaranjan road, vile parle east, mumbai to chhatrapati shivaji international terminus, sahar. While booking it directed me to payment page, i paid the amount of rs.149.85 in advance through credit card, which was very well deducted from my account, but the cab never turned up. After waiting for more than half an hour, i tried cancelling the booking which never happened as well there was no other way to contact either the driver or uber customer care as i did not recieve any communication or message from uber. So now to know how would i get my money back??

        On 8th jan 2018 we travelled from 1, sadhu vaswani rd, agarkar nagar, pune, to patker, plot no.8, old mumbai - pune hwy, baluchi vasti, shivajinagar, pune.
        The driver was omkar maryti suzuki ritz, we paid an amount of rs 113 (As mentioned in my earlier complaint). This was inclusive of rs 42.50 cancellation charges levied on us though the driver somnath maruti dzire had cancelled on his own after making us walk 300m and keeping us waiting for 17 mins (12.39pm to 12.56pm). We received the receipt at 23.37hrs on 8th jan that too for rs 71.34 only.
        On 8th when we tried to book uber in afternoon there was a message that i had not paid full amount and rs 42.50 is outstanding.
        In my opinion both the drivers due censor.
        An early feedback on my email id [protected]@gmail.com will be appreciated.

        Amount I was expected to pay by the driver was 1011 by his calculation.

        Please explain why am I overcharged for my trip.
        Have raised so many complaints on Uber Support but no reply so far.

          When it's my mistake (Even if it's due to driver's behaviour or activities), i pay the cancellation charges but when it's driver's mistake or your's mistake, do you pay us something for our wasted time and effort? How is this fair.

          Today, i booked at cab. Waited for half an hour. Driver is not moving or responding. So, i cancelled it. Booked another cab. Now the driver is picking my calls, but still not moving from his current location. I call him again and he starts moving. Now he is just wasting my time going into dead-ends and taking wrong turns. I cancel and i am charged # 43 rupees. What kind of logic is this.

            The cancellation charge is always annoying. Why the customer has to pay the cancellation charge, if the driver cancels the trip?

            And this is not the first time experience that i and (Many people whom i have discussed the issue with) are having about the same. It is high time for you to look into this, else you are going to miss the uber customers like anything - i know many people in my friends circle who have stopped using uber app, and yeah, i will also shortly move to that list.

              Dear sir/ma'am,

              This is kumardeep kar from kolkata, mobile no - [protected]. I have booked a uber go on 04 november 2017 (Tuesday) from ballygunje phari to sealdah station. At that time we have 2 luggage. But when the driver reached the place he has refused to take the luggage. And he goes away without pick up us. And my apps showed that time the journey is on. But after some time i have received a message through my uber apps that your cancellation fee is 47.25. So please clarifying me why i should be paid the amount because i have not travelled and also i have not cancelled the trip. So please look out the matter and wave off the cancellation fee. Because from 14.11.17 to till today i have not travelled by the uber, only for this reason. Kindly advise

              Today I wanted to go from global hospital to home in Chennai at 12:55 pm. I waited up to 1:25 pm.even I called the drive r over phone. So I had to cancel because I had urgent work. Why should I pay RS 30 for second ride? It should come in schedule time shown at time if booking. PL take back the RS 30 cancellation charge.

                Kind attention Grievance Redressal/Uber Kolkata.
                My wife Minu Jio1 Booked Uber on dated 10.01.2018 at about 6.15am to move from Upohar Kolkata to Howrah Railway Stn .
                Uber Taxi No.Uber Taxi Driver Asish, Maruti Suzuki NO 9991 < Mobile No.[protected] arrived within 5 minutes and srtated to move/drive to the destination. But without any reason he tried to deviate from the destined route and created noisy environment/ started shouting when asked to stick to the route to manage the time. Then He dropped her and my son without taking to final destination i.e Howrah Railway stn
                Due to all this act of the above mentioned taxi driver whoes Taxi No and mobile No. is given action may please be taken and immidate compensation to her for Rs.1000 should be given Otherwise We will go for the legal help for all this against uber.

                  Yesterday on 9th jan at 7.44 pm i hired uber cab honda amaze, driver rukmuddin from jasola to hauz khas metro station and the charges it was showing was rs 186. I used the cab for the same destination and at 8.15 pm driver dropped me to metro station hauz khas. At 8.54 pm when i was going to book another car for me from mg road metro station to my residence i observed that the vehicle which i left at hauz khas was still running somewhere near to okhla and the amount shown was rs.323.32. I immediately cancelled the trip to avoid misuse. Later i saw my paytm account and found that i was charged rs.323.32 instead of rs.186. You are requested to arrange refund of excess amount as this has happened because of the fault of driver.

                      I am traveling through uber pool from kharadi to kothrud. I am traveling with another person whose drop was in dhanori. His drop was in very remote area of dhanori.
                      Now dhanori and kothrud can’t be clubbed together.
                      I understand that when it is shared it can’t be as good as your own private taxi.
                      But the uber software should be powerful enough to put those passengers together who are almost in same path.
                      For long distances at least pick up and drop location should be such that most of the traveling path is same. This will help the driver as well as passengers. Moreover it will be time saving.

                        Hi i scheduled an uber a day before for a drop to the international airport for my sister. The driver called at the scheduled time to say that he will only accept cash payments. We were left with no choice but to agree. The driver ignored the gps directions and reached the domestic airport instead. Thankfully despite the detour my sister was able to make it in time to the delhi international airport. This was carelessness by the driver leading to unneccesary anxiety. At the airport he asked for rs 630 as cash payment which was given. Only later did i realize that my paytm has also been charged for rs 923. The estimated amount at the time of booking was about rs 600. I have paid 1546 for a ride which costs only 600! Despite repeated complaints both uber and the driver in question have been unresponsive. I have been a long time user o[censored]ber and this experience has been shocking.

                          I book uber with car no up32 hn 4817,
                          He has not picked up. And behaving like villagers. He doesn't have any professional attitude. I have told him that please ask anybody to that place i have connected him always with call but they have take this seriously. After all he has told i cannot come you can book any other. He has told you do any complain i don't care. I had an urgent ride but he has not come and pick up to us.
                          Kindly take appropriate action on it. I will be highly obliged.

Last time i had booked uber cab in kolkata region at shalimar railway station, driver told me i come within 5 min but after 20 min again i call him, he replied me that now i need more and more time so plz you canceled it, after that i also told him plz you canceled, but he told me sir i need 30 min more for reaching your point. Plz cancel me. After that uber company credit 45 rs in my account.

                              Had booked uber from home to airport on 9.01.18. The driver manohar ka07a2582 was completely rude, refused to roll up the windows during the entire trip to the airport, had to inhale fumes for one hour, my eyes and head hurt. Am feeling sick. Requested him multiple times, could not cancel the booking enroute as i would have missed my flight. Even when i told him i would complain to uber, he was not bothered. Want him fired and my trip refunded.
                              Also want uber penalised for hiring such horrible drivers

                              My trip fare is Rs 99, but driver overcharge amount of Rs 183 from me.Same I have informed Uber team on app by help option for refund on overcharge.But team denied to refund .They provide me option that I have to use debit card as payment option for next trip.Its not customer supportive and not a solution for it.

                              I booked cab from Bhopal railway station to hostel no 10 manit distance between the two places is approx 8.7km and I was charged RS 122 I want my money back.And I have the proof that uber offered me to ride at RS 69 upto 9km .

                                On 08/01/2018 at 12.39pm booked a uber cab from gate no 3 police commisioner office pune to safire park old mumbai pune highway pune. Maruti swift dzire driver somnath accepted the ride. After 10 mins he requested us to come 300m away to gate no 2 which we did. Again waited for 5 mins and then he cancelled the trip. We booked again and omkar accepted the ride and we paid rs 113, but the trip detail shows 0 payment. The estimated amount was rs 71 and billed amount was rs 113.50. I have not received receipt for this ride by email. An outstanding payment of rs 42.50 is being shown on my app. Since the driver cancelled the ride this amount should not be charged on us. Such behaviour of driver and wrong leving of such cancellation charges will deter people to use uber.
                                Please look into the matter and reverse the cancellation charge levied.

                                  Todays morning trip with uber under the email id [protected]@gmail.com made me understand what a rip off these companies promotional activities are. They are running a promotional event of pay 149 and enjoy rides for 129 flat for the next 30 days. I paid 149 and the promotion gets active on my acount. I get two rides without any issues for 129. But then all off a sudden i get another ride for 131.6. I ignore thinking theres somethng new called wait charges which were never there previously. But today morning they charged me 185 even with the promotion active on my account. That means according to their rules the ride cost 255, as its the only scenario basis which i could have been charged 185 with the promotion on. 255 for my trip is just not possible, unless uber had surge pricing on, which they did not show upfront. Without the promotion i have taken numerous rides between same places with my charges never exceeding 190inr and normally ranging between 170inr.

                                  It seems like the promotion is just a rip off and my initial payment of 149 goes in vain. I have shared multiple emails with uber all resulting in canned responses. Such pathetic service never experinced with any other company. And to top it all, my requests for explanation of charges just get canned responses again. Uber just does not want to explain for what reason they have charged me 55 inr extra. Their tax invoice doesnt show that. Their receipt is the funniest. 129 charges. 2 for waiting. Total 131. But hilariously to pay it will be 185. Exellent billing!!!

                                    I have boarded the cab from gurgaon sec-29 to gurgaon sec - 17 and charges was showing below rs.100. However, incorrcect charges showing in my account and trip is showing fully incorrect. I have tried to ressolve this issue through application but i didn’t get any resolution and there is no customer care number. Please look into it and try to ressolve this matter asap.

                                      I had an account with uber registered with my phone number. My uber a/c has been disabled since 10-11 months now when i m trying to login again and again with the number. It does not allow to do so. There are 120 rs.in my uber wallet. I reached out to uber care but they are not ready to assist, also they are not responding on the mail.
                                      Also i had complained in consumer forum online before 4-5 but case not resolved yet.

                                        On 6th january, at 12:48 pm i booked ubergo, the driver assainged was vishwanath, firstly he didnot came to proper pick up location, then when i reached to him, he refused to pick me up saying his car was not working and was in a drunk state, i requested him to go as i had to appear for an exam on 1:45 but he refused. He asked me the destination place and knowing refused as it was too far. He asked me to cancel the trip and book an another ride, but by that time if i cancelled the trip then i would be asked for penalty money from uber, when i said this, he said that is not his problem. As he was the nearest driver to my location and if i cancelled the trip and book it again then he would be assainged but he said he wont pick up the request. Hence i canc=elled the trip and booked from my mother uber account and agin the same driver was assaigned, i didnot trust him anymore and had to cancel the trip again.
                                        If his vehicle was not working then why did he accepted 2 resquest rides one after another.
                                        Due to this i was 45 minutes late and couldnt appear my exam and wasted my 1year.
                                        Such kind of irresponsible driver should be kidded out o[censored]ber.
