I was charged for toll fare but driver didn't pay this fare. I have paid the fare by cash. Most of the driver didn't agree to pay and claim it's not included in receipt. But actually at the end of the trip it was added.

When reported for refund, they responded back like "cash exchanged outside the uber system cannot be recorded and we would not be able to account for it and make adjustments to the trip fare. For your future trips, whenever you're requesting an uber be sure to check the payment method you're using so that you don't end up paying twice for the same trip."

There must be exception process kept in any system to manage this kind of situation. I had similar situation reported earlier and got the uber credit but now they had denied to process refund.

I don't know why they included the toll fare and made complicated process. Really frustrated due to double payment for toll. Obviously they lost one regular customer.

    When i book the cab today morning had a worse experience, i got driver number and when i called he was using bad words and going worst. So disconnected the call and cancelled the trip. Complaint has been raised with uber against the incident. But now uber is saying we need a trip reference without which it cannot be proceed. Not sure what is tracking mechanism they are using and how did they guarantee passenger life.. It's very pathetic.

    I don't suggest uber anymore..

        Hello team,

        I had booked uber at 11:00 pm on 12 nov 17 at bangalore and got the pathetic service ever.

        I am a lady and when i called him for the first time, i was told by the driver (Sagar : ka 42 a 6447) that he has no diesel and wanted me to cancel the trip, as he cant do it. I told him that i am ok to wait for 10 to 15 mins if required however every time i called him he kept delaying. Later he started to move away from my pick up point asking me to cancel.
        Is this really the drivers you hire who dosent care about woman security?
        Are you guys not bothered about woman security? I cant believe the fact that you hire drivers who dont care about woman and safety
        I am frustrated with the service. You can see my record and this is the first time i am complaining because of such a driver.
        I want you to tell me what actions you took against such a careless person?
        Tell me what you would do for the helpless situation that i went through?
        What would you do to ensure that i do not go through this situation again?

        Uber Driver, Mr Bikash has stole around 1693 Rupees[protected]. I have given Rs. 2000 to your driver and my bill amount was Rs 307, he told me he will come back after change and then he never came back.
        The Driver was a thief. Kindly resolve it immediately. This is untolerable.
        I need My money Back. Kindly settle it as soon as possible.

          As i was getting into car, i found driver behavior not satisfactory, so wanted to get down. & cancel uber pool.. But driver started the car without my approval & refused to stop until i paid full rs 79.. To driver..

          This behavior of driver is nothing but rowdyism by driver..

          Lodging a police complaint against driver & legal action against uber..

            Today i booked a taxi for airport neither your driver picked the phone nor moved his vehicle, it was shown his vehicle was static and not moving towards me in mehrauli, after four five attempts cancelled my booking very bad experience, earlier it never happened with uber first time very bad taste resulting i would have missed my flight. Pl. Lookinto it and revert.

            Uber driver cheated by claiming Paytm didn't go through and asked for cash. I realized uber automatically deducted from Paytm also. I ended paying double. Is this how uber works? Ripping off its customers and encouraging cheating by their drivers. Pathetic garbage company.

              Hi there,

              Since i am getting promo codes every month but whenever i am trying to give right promo codes even though it shows as "promotion code is not valid".
              Promo codes:
              For the month of nov; novflat50 and
              For the month of oct; blrnov75.
              What is the use of sending promo codes to the customer as you people are making us fool and cheat with the customer.
              Since i have also attached the screen shot of the error. Please have check and the need full asap.

              Hence i need to take another step to rectify the issue.

                I have booked cab from pune railway station to kokane chowk, pune. While booking amount was showing rs. 241.

                And after starting visit, cab gps navigation was showing wrong and same i told the driver also that route from where you are going is longest then driver was told me that this is way which is showing in my gps. And also there was one toll also where they were charged some amount.

                And after my visit was completed, the bill was showing approx. Rs.283 and same i have paid.

                Really this is ridiculous that i had to paid more than expected which was very worst

                Could you please take strict action on uber.

                I didn't get any response from UBER or your side.Please update.
                I received a message from the Uber server that the driver has cancelled the ride himself still I had to pay extra cancellation money on my next trip

                My account has been blocked where I am not able to apply promocode or pay through Paytm.

                I use uber daily. only because of this issue I am not able use it on a daily basis.

                  I took a ride from malviya nagar to hotel leela chanakyapuri and after the ride was over i made the cash payment of 90 rupees which was the due about to driver named rahul on 7th of november 2017 in the car hyundai xcent
                  But on the new booking the app is demanding for the payment which i have already paid as mentioned above.
                  Being a regular user of the uber app i feel i am being harressed.
                  This is not the first time i am not satisfied with the services provided by the uber.
                  I request you to please look into the matter and resolve the issue

                  Dear Uber i was booked a cab last saturday but cab cancelled by driver side, and you also charged me 42rs why?? and this is 2nd time in just 20 days. why u charge me, while mistake from your side.
                  I booked a uber cab from Howrah Station to New Town on 05/11/2017, at the time of booking fare estimate was showing Rs. 380.00 but when I reached to my destination my bill was Rs. 749.00.

                  How this is possible from Howrah Station to New Town distance is 17 k.m.

                    Uber is cheating customer in a big way.
                    Please be careful before using it, because your bill of 129 can become 341 or more very easily.

                    I had taken a ride in delhi where the amount was showing 129 (Please see the attachment), but when my trip got completed, driver showed my a bill of rs 341 in his mobile. I was astonished to see that but as i was already late i didn't argue with the driver and paid him, thinking i would complain it to uber as i had all the proofs.

                    But when i did, it was told to me this had happened due to gps error in drivers mobile (Please see the attachment of that also) and they cannot do anything in that.
                    I argued with uber, telling them how often i use their service and it was entirely their fault but they didnt consider any my request and kept on saying the same thing again and again.

                    This attitude of theirs has brought me to this platform.
                    Please consider twice before using uber. As they are money making machine by cheating their customers.

                      Today at around 9.11am i have booked the uber but i was shocked with the behaviour of the driver. He has refused to give the service. When i have given the call to him for pick up with the location he has not informed me that he was ride it will take time. Later on has informed me the same. I am totally disappointed with this. Plz improve your services. Other the image o[censored]ber will be down.

                        I had booked a non cash trip for my female friend at night 10:30 pm. When the ride got over the driver forced her to give him cash. The amount also got deducted from paytm account. I have tried contacting the support several times but they are again and again copying and pasting the same standard reply and blaming me for paying cash to the driver. Now they have stopped replying to me on the help section in the app. Please look into this matter. I have done some research in twitter and it seems that many customers are facing the same issue. I think this is some sort of scam being run by this company.

                          Uber is doing bluff to customer.
                          I have took the cab today it's showing amount 238. But at drivers app it's showing 281. When i have contacted to uber customer care they have confirmed the extra amount i have cancelled the ride few months back. That ride was cancelled by uber driver only. If driver cancelled the trip why should i pay the amount.

                          When i have contacted care they told me it's too old trip so we can not make any adjustments. But it's 2 months old trip. But at the same time they can the take the 2 months money from customer. But when it comes for refund they can not refund/adjustment the same amount.

                          It better to use ola instead of the uber.

                            This is to inform you that today i have booked your uber cab from krishna nagar east delhi about 1:46 pm to sector 16 faridabad through uber go @ 584.15.
                            The fair which i was charged is very high although i have booked 584.15.
                            I already informed that kindly use navigation but he refused to do so. He used neher paar bypass route which is very poor route.
                            I have already paid 600 for my trip & he demanded 886 for the trip.
                            Kindly resolve the issues asap. This type of over charge i have face so many times.
                            Book less & paid more for many trips.

                              I booked a share uber cab today around 10.03 am for going from block a1, south city 2, gurgaon to arya samaj mandir, cannought place, new delhi
                              On confirmation of booking i telephoned driver devendra - hr 66a 9665 - [protected] at 10.04 when he asked about destination and there after he told he is coming - no reply at 10.08 - at 10.10 he told that keys are locked in his car and he can not come and that he can not cancel the trip - no reply at 10.13 (All these details are as per telephone)
                              Finally, as driver was neither coming nor canceling the trip - i was having no other option but to cancel the earlier trip myself and re book the trip
                              You do not have any system of finding out the reason of canceling the trip and directly imposed a wrong penalty of rs. 42 on me for re booking the trip
                              Do you think i am mad and fool to cancel a trip, pay penalty and re book within minutes for same destination
                              Your drivers are in a habit of not coming and getting the trips cancelled if they are not willing to go to the booked destination -
                              Some time back similar situation had arisen when trip was cancelled by a driver after about 10 minutes - when i re booked the the trip fare was more -
                              That time i thought that your surge might have been increased during this lapse of time -
                              Today i have come to know that even if driver cancels the trip after 5 minutes the penalty will be on customer which means that time also penalty might have been imposed on me -
                              If you continue supporting your drivers in such type of foul games being played by them, i am afraid, your company will loose the credibility in no time
                              I, therefore, request you to immediately refund the penalty of rs 42, take action against the concerned driver and take suitable action in changing this system of imposing penalty without finding out the reason and blindly supporting your drivers
                              For your information i must tell you that many of the drivers have got attached with you as part time - run their private business and connect to you when they are free

                              I booked a share uber cab today around 5:00 AM for going from Block Air works Sector 18, Gurgaon to Fitness Planet, Madanpur khadar, New Delhi.

                              On confirmation of booking I telephoned driver Ghyas- [protected] at 10.04 when he asked about destination and there after he told he is coming - no reply at 06:01 - at 06:21.

                              Finally, as driver was neither pickingup a call nor canceling the trip - I was having no other option but to cancel the earlier trip myself and re book the trip.

                              You do not have any system of finding out the reason of canceling the trip and directly imposed a wrong penalty of Rs. 42 on me for re booking the trip.

                              Do you think I am mad and fool to cancel a trip, pay penalty and re book within minutes for same destination.

I'll contact to uber driver but it's can't connected and at its mobile switch off... So plzz i want to request to u plzz take a sovle it and im not paid last payment bcoz there is no my fault... I'm wait at my location but it's can't coming so plzzz solve it... And i'm not cancel it a uber driver cancel it...

                                  I haven't been able to log into my account for awhile. This is not the first time i'm registering a complaint. Do take some action on this or delete my account from your registrations as i wouldn't like to receive any mails in association with this constantly when i can't even access my account. Its been more than a month. Looking forward to a reply.

                                    Driver don’t want to come for online payment. He wanted only cadh. I have canceled the trip infront of driver as he asked to rebook. I didn’t got the same cab afterwards. So cancelled 2 more times. Then paid him cash with fixed price as i need to catch the train. I cannot fight or argue with him at that stage. Its a big trouble to believe on uber services as they don’t train drivers.
                                    Later when i asked for refund 150rs cancellation charges uber customer care not at all listening and just copy pasting the standard answer. Even though i sent clarifications for 3 times.

                                      I booked an uber cab at 1.24 pm today to go to santoshpur in south kolkata from sanskrit college, bankim chatterjee street. The driver called me up at 1.27 pm and told me that he was waiting beside sree leathers shop. I repeatedly asked him if he was near college street market but he kept on saying that he was near sree leathers shop. I then asked him to come to college street and mahatma gandhi road crossing, beside mohini mohan kanjilal sari shop, a prominent landmark, where i was waiting. However the driver disconnected the phone even while i was speaking to him. Soon after i received a message from uber stating that rs. 47.25 was outstanding payment on my account from my previous trip. I fail to understand the reason for this deduction and if this is a cancellation charge then this should not be charged to me at all as i did not cancel the booking.                                         I booked a taxi now to podhanur junction and driver told me that they are at the spot. I told i will come and searching the car. I can't find any car and when i check the app, it says driver canceled. I totally shocked and how they can cancel without my knowledge. Horrible response and worst customer care. I can't even reach them by phone. Now who will take care of me to catch my train at podhanur. Please don't repeat this next time and to any customer.
