I booked a share uber cab today around 10.03 am for going from block a1, south city 2, gurgaon to arya samaj mandir, cannought place, new delhi
On confirmation of booking i telephoned driver devendra - hr 66a 9665 - [protected] at 10.04 when he asked about destination and there after he told he is coming - no reply at 10.08 - at 10.10 he told that keys are locked in his car and he can not come and that he can not cancel the trip - no reply at 10.13 (All these details are as per telephone)
Finally, as driver was neither coming nor canceling the trip - i was having no other option but to cancel the earlier trip myself and re book the trip
You do not have any system of finding out the reason of canceling the trip and directly imposed a wrong penalty of rs. 42 on me for re booking the trip
Do you think i am mad and fool to cancel a trip, pay penalty and re book within minutes for same destination
Your drivers are in a habit of not coming and getting the trips cancelled if they are not willing to go to the booked destination -
Some time back similar situation had arisen when trip was cancelled by a driver after about 10 minutes - when i re booked the the trip fare was more -
That time i thought that your surge might have been increased during this lapse of time -
Today i have come to know that even if driver cancels the trip after 5 minutes the penalty will be on customer which means that time also penalty might have been imposed on me -
If you continue supporting your drivers in such type of foul games being played by them, i am afraid, your company will loose the credibility in no time
I, therefore, request you to immediately refund the penalty of rs 42, take action against the concerned driver and take suitable action in changing this system of imposing penalty without finding out the reason and blindly supporting your drivers
For your information i must tell you that many of the drivers have got attached with you as part time - run their private business and connect to you when they are free
