Today at 4.10 AM at paldi area, Ahmedabad I requested for Uber and after 5 mins I received a call from Driver Gaurang who insisted to tell the destination, I refused to tell him. Than after few minutes he (Gaurang) appeared and asking for the destination on my refusal to disclose until I ride for the journey than he (Gaurang) locked the door and didn’t open the door. And rudely talking and asking for destination than again I refused after which he told me that I got the customer from Ola so I am going and will not cancel the trip so as Customer I have to cancel the trip and bare the minimum charges. Than I have to wait for some more minutes and I took local Rickshaw who is a real gentleman. Uber don’t allow to give negative rating to such drivers. I really lost my trust from Uber as they are not ready to accept the fault of their driver and show fake ratings of their Driver.

    When i requested uber service in prabhadevi in mumbai on 15th nov 17 evening for going home. He said that he will not come to drop at my location as he dont want to. As this service was cancelled by uber driver it was not recorded on trip list to send his complaint. I insisted that it is urgent to reach home but he said that he has other business as well and he will not get time if he drop me at my location in thane. Even he said that even his home is away from thane.

    This slacker even have other tourist vehicle services. Please avoid taking his service. His name is zahir (Contact - [protected]). Uber india responsibilitity is to blacklist him permanently.

    I'm not against uber as some of their drivers are well trained adn friendly. But primarily their policy of grevience procedure and selecting driver in india is not at all customer friendly. Otherwise after united kingdom, indian govt. Will stop service

      Uber has been charging me cancellation charges on my cab on a regular basis even when i am not at fault. A cancellation charge is charged when the driver has to wait for more than 2 minutes and the rider has not arrived. The driver on purpose comes close to the pick up place and cancels on purpose to get rs42 on cancellation. This is as cheating and fleecing the customer regularly. I have been at the receiving end of it 2 times and my wife has been on the receiving end as well. On contacting them on their help section, they do not answer for 3 days and then send a message that the cancellation charge is for the driver's benefit. When infact the driver is the one who is at complete fault.

      I would request you to please consider this on an urgent basis. Hope this gets resolved at the earliest.

        I was overcharged on my uber ride on the evening (8.14 pm) of saturday, 11 november 2017 from seasons mall, magarpatta to nyati empire, kharadi, pune-14. The vehicle was ford figo aspire, the driver's name was ravindra. I was liable to pay 82 rs., but the driver asked me to pay 299 rs., saying it were previous dues. When i refused to pay, he told that he
        Will be penalised to pay the amount to the company and that i should contact the customer care o[censored]ber for refund. So, i paid the driver and contacted the customer care o[censored]ber through the uber app and they said that it was a due of may 2015. This is pretty irrelevant, as since 2015, i have taken many uber rides. They are not even providing any detail or proof
        About this due and are not even refunding the money. They were just saying that we understand your frustration. Please assist me in solving this problem.

        Your uber cab drivers misbehave with public and rash driving i was standing out side pink square mall at 4:30 a redi go red-mahroon color cab come written uber on it. He was drunk. And misbehave with public. Please u should teach some manners to your cab drivers for this.
        Iam a regular user o[censored]ber and am very satisfied with uber. But oflate i find each time i book a cab an amount of Rs 350 is kept on hold with out any reason .Please let me know the why the custemors should be peanelised like this.

          Let me explain the situation in detail.

          I had uber app perfectly dowloaded in my mobile ([protected]). I last time availed uber taxi service on 8th november '2017 (15.30 hrs) from my location at narayantala (Near baguiati) at kolkata (India) upto nsc bose airport. The total fare was rs. 216 /- (Including an earlier cancellation charge of rs. 47 /-).
          Problem started when i tried to get an e-mail receipt of the above taxi fare through your mobile app. Perhaps by mistake i have touched the key 'settings' option in the mobile app. Then uber app in my mobile got completely out of order, and started showing as 'go with uber'.
          At first it asked for my mobile number, which i inserted correctly as '[protected]'. Then it asked for my password, which i could not remember, what i might have at all used while downloading the app more than three months ago. I then used my normal password what i generally use for all purposes. Uber refused this password showing 'the password is incorrect'.
          Then i had to chose the option of 'forgot my password'. Then again the app asked for my mobile number which i further wrote correctly ([protected]). Immediately it showed 'your mobile is already in use, cannot transfer... Etc'. It did not move to the next step.
          Then i had to chose the option 'don't have an account ; sign-up' from my mobile. The app responded with an otp, which i entered at its place. Then it asked for my e-mail id, which i correctly mentioned as '[protected]@yahoo.com' (The same as this). Uber app refused that also showing 'this e-mail is not associated with your mobile no.'
          Then i got deeply concerned, as all my attempts to retrieve uber app failed. I deleted the app from my mobile and reloaded it again, i tried it for 2-3 times, but only to experience the same blockages every time as explained above. I also tried the process with my other mobile number ([protected]) and other e-mail id ([protected]@gmail.com), and encountered the same result.
          I then took the help o[censored]ber website to follow the necessary options. The results are no different, 'asking for password' (Which i forgot), 'mobile number currently in use', and 'e-mail id is not associated with your mobile', as detailed above. I have also 'confirmed my e-mail id' in response to uber's reply e-mails at least 4-5 times in last 3-4 days. This is my personal e-mail id and completely secured with own password.
          You may now clearly understand the trouble i am in. As such 'no screenshot of error' could however be provided to you, as written in your mail. I depend very much on uber taxi service regularly for my office and personal tours. I am in very difficult situation due to inactivity of the app. I request you to kindly provide me necessary guidelines to reactivate uber app through reply to this e-mail id only (A secured personal e-mail id), at the earliest.

            I was charged wrongly for a cancellation fee by uber. The driver cancelled the ride and refused to come to my specified location. His was rude. Uber refused to entertain my complaint regarding this. There is no way to contact them personally and explain the exact matter to them. Its uber's responsibility to confirm the matter from the customer. They refused any kind of communication. Its highly unprofessional on their part

I forget my phone on car. I called Mr. Ashok then he said I will Send you your phone within 7 Days but He didn't returned my phone. Please Help

              I had purchased a uber go pass in bangalore (15 rides in 30 days - ₹99 pass) by paying 200₹.
              On just my 3rd ride on go paas (From vignan nagar to whitefield) on 14th november'17, it showed in the beginning of my trip that as due to go pass i only had to pay rs 99. However, when the trip ended, to my surprise, ₹224 was deducted from my paytm.
              I immediately registered a complain and asked for a refund.
              In response, uber help came back saying "it was a gps error, due to which i've been overcharged and they regret the inconvenience and they"appreciate"my understanding."
              But no refund was done by uber.
              I tried contacting them again, but now with no response.
              I am a regular commuter in uber. And after these, they are not even apologetic and neither they're doing the refund.
              I want to know why??? Why they're not respondind and not taking responsibility nd not giving me refund.
              You can not ask customer to "buy" a pass and then not let them avail showing some stupid technical glitch. Absolutely terrible. Uber is looting it's customers.

                I boarded an uber cab (Hyundai eon) at 08.03am on 09-nov-2017 from jaipur international airport to radisson jaipur city center hotel & the cab drivers name was kana ram. My trip fare was 165.98 & although my payment mode selected was by card he took cash from me. The trip fare was still reflecting as outstanding in my uber account. Due to this i had to pay the above mentioned amount again to the cab driver (Rajesh) along with the fare for trip from from asthma bhavan hospital to bapu bazar (Cab hired on 10-nov-2017 in the evening). So which means i have paid double amount for my trip on 09-nov-2017. Kinldy refund me rs.165 at the earliset. The complaint has been done already on 10-nov-2017 in the evening through the uber app however no response has been received yet.

                  I booked my first ride @ ~ rs. 258/- and called the driver he did not pick up my call.

                  Then he cancelled my booking.

                  I made another booking and same car picked up the booking this time the amount was ~309 and he even picked up the call.

                  When i asked him why he did not take my call he said i did not receive any call but fact is he had my missed call in his mobile.

                  He claimed that for first booking he was waiting at the spot and since i did not reach he cancelled the booking without calling me or taking my phone call.

                  He justified that he did not have balance in his mobile.

                  In second time booking same driver on same number picked up my call and told me that he is already at the spot whereas, i saw him coming from far.

                  I feel it is unfair to charge me for this cancellation and would expect you to refund the already paid amount.

                  Amount is not big but i feel i am cheated with extra fair over the earlier booking and also for cancelation charges.

                    This is the worst trip i ever had with uber.
                    1. The pickup was so late though it is a prominent location.
                    2. Driver was rude
                    3. A/c was not working.
                    4. Driver is reluctant to have a conversation on the route.

                      Last two trips the payment option is automatically been selected and when i wish to pay by cash, the driver askes me to pay through card.. I dnt know for what reason it is showing.. Today when i startd to book for new ride it showed last trip outstanding amount, which i paid through card and after that i got a new ride.. When i reached my destination, i paid by cash n went down... But after paying its again showing outstanding amount.. Why ds is happening?? I have already paid for my ride.. Then why this is showing??

                        Driver ne ride cancel ki or driver samne se car lekar nikal gya but roki nhi. Driver ke cancel krne par bhi mere se next ride me include krke charge liya gya. Or aisa hi ab dobara hua. Uber walo se kaise bhi contact nhi ho rha. Please meri baat par gour farmaye. Uber wale apni manmani kar rhe h or har uber ride cancellation ka charge ₹36 rupees liye gye h jo ki unfair h.

                          Today i booked a cab to basveshwarnagar from banaswadi which showed 7 min for arrival. Inspite driver being late after 30mins also we waited patiently all the time, your driver (Madhu - [protected]) is so arrogant and rude and doesn't have common sense to follow the route map also. He dindnt turn up and he just passed in front o[censored]s such a careless driver that i called him around 4times he dint respond to the call and later he had cancelled the ride and switched off the mobile without insisting. This behaviour is truly unacceptable. Please assist your drivers how to behave with the customers.

                            I heard that in uber for every first 4 rides there will be discount and an offer but i dint get any offer or any discount.for next ride plz giv me the offer.l felt like fares are very high. So plz accept the complaint and do the needfull as soon as possible before my next ride.And give us the good offer for every ride. And am very satisfied with uber ride with my cousin frm her account. so plz help me and solve this issue

                            I have requested uber XL cab for 4+2children.
                            But your driver arrived with small vehicle for 4 . However we have completed the trip. Now the fare is Rs 721.56 which is estimated for uber XL. Kindly arrange refund. Screenshot of trip details attached.

                              Yesterday i had booked an uber cab and after than i have call to driver for my current location.

                              But he replied to me that i am too far, so i unable to come to your place.
                              I had requested to him please cancel my booking but after 15 min also he did not cancel and also not reached to my location.

                              Finally, i have cancel my ride and re booked the cab.

                              While payment the ride charge i have seen that rs. 52/= has added along with my ride charge.

                              Requesting to you please look into this issue and do the needful for same because i don't have interest to cancel the ride due to driver has denied to come to destination location, had cancel the ride.

                                I have booked a uber today at 1.18am [tuesday ] taxi no. Mh14 3480 bapurao he came to destination to collect my mother who have facture in one leg and ask her to cross the road which is very busy as even i cannot cross the road. I have requested several times to turn and reach other end evry time i get answer ask your mother to cross the road.                                   Sub : cancellation charges / outstanding amount showing in my account due to which i can book uber

                                  This is to inform you that i am a frequent traveller with uber services and also very often, i do refer / book your services for my friends and relatives.

                                  Though i am very happy and satisfied with your services but from last few occasions i am experiencing that the services are deteriorating from the standards set by uber.

                                  I would like to bring to your notice that it had happened couple of times when i had booked a service and the chauffeur had denied giving his service for reasons best known to him, but the shocking thing is uber charges me a cancellation fee with no fault of mine. Now, every time i login to book a new service, it keeps prompting me for some previous cancellation charges, which i am not even eligible to pay.

                                  On 10th may, 2017 i booked uber from my mobile aap at around 7.30pm, on my phone it was showing it will take 5minutes to come, later it got changed to 7mintues, after sometime to my surprise i got a call from driver stating he can’t come, so i have to cancel my booking.in five minutes time again i got a call from one of the driver saying he at sahar airport and will take more than 15minutes.

                                  It wasn’t my mistake still i was penalized for cancellation charges and due to which i cant go ahead and book my rides which is not fare. I am well-known builder from mumbai and i can go up to consumer court or file a suit against you guys. I have in house lawyer team who can do all this for me.in past, i had even communicated my grievances couple of times but there was no revert from you.

                                  I had a high belief and expectation in uber so much that i had stopped using ola. But after getting so poor services, i am switching back to ola. You will be missing a very good customer, make a note of it.

                                  Please find below my registered name and number for your consideration to waive the cancellation charges / refund the cancellation charges. I would also like to request uber to ensure that such occurrence does not happen again with your regular clients.

                                    On diwali first day i. E. 18.10.17 – uber taxi was booked from dahisar e, new ashish to thane, oswal park. The concerned driver did not bother to call us on arrival. It was showing 1 minute as per gps. When we called up he started arguing that he is waiting for more than 5 minutes.

                                    When we could not find him at the location we again called him up and waited for him at the corner. He came but he could not take us because by the time he cancelled the trip on his own on our cost. So we had to book again but we had to pay rs 47/- extra as fine without our fault.

                                    Same thing happened on 9.11.17 – uber taxi was booked from thane oswal park to fortis hospital vashi. As usual on arrival driver did not call. I was waiting on the road and wasted my 15 minutes to locate him. Then before i could enter he asked me whether i know the location where we were to go. So i asked him why you don’t have gps since i was not aware the route.

                                    He said he doesn’t know since he is new. So i asked him why you accepted the booking. And then since i was already late i asked him to cancel the ride and i booked ola auto and rushed.

                                    Now further when i want to book new ride it is showing that i have to pay rs.47/- extra then only i will be able to book.

                                    In both the cases you will appreciate it was sheer fault of drivers for which customer has to pay.

                                    View above, if you take corrective measures then only i will be able to continue your service or else i will have to go for ola etc.

                                      I am a daily uber rider and using uber since 2015. I have good experience in terms of travel with uber.in the last few months the fares are exceptionally high for short distances and no promo codes are given.

                                      Request you to kindly look into it specially for increase fares, which is higher than expected.

                                        I have an complaint against mh-12 nx 7795 was driving rash. I was left side of road at kalyani nagar, pune and he came from back and while overtaking me he did not keep safe distance in fact he was on millimeter distance and i lost my bike balance his car mirror slash to my hand. And inside uber customer also notice the same and he turn back and saw me.
                                        Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
