We have been preferring uber over ola but on 16th (Thursday) of this month, we had a bad experience when we travelled from palam vihar, gurgaon to cremation grounds 'malvia nagar, new delhi. Journey was starting at about 12 hrs. It was by ritz (Maruti suzuki) car with no. Hr62 8082 or 8280 (Not sure) with driver's name"gagan". The charges as per ur msg. Were rs 487 or so. The driver kept on changing the route saying that the map is showing traffic on given route (S). More - over near the destination, he kept on taking rounds /u turns & we have to check from peoples time & again resulting into delay & our missing of main rituals. Then he asked & took rs.630/ instead of notified amount of 487/. Pl. Look into this & compensate us fully for the over charge, delay caused & our missing of the ceremony. Thanks!!-s k khanna

    I booked uber on 14 nov 2017 at 6 pm from ballygunge circular road to genexx valley (Please note this is a weekly trip on tuesdays) the app showed 10 minutes for the uber cab to arrive so i waited and then called the driver to confirm, he told me i am coming and then i found that he did not turn up instead charged me 47 rupees and cancelled the trip on his own!! I decided to book another driver but the app did not allow as i was being asked to pay that 47 bucks first. I decided to take another cab. On making a complaint after 6 days i got a reply from burhan that they have checked and found that i was charged waiting charges the driver waited 5.50 minutes and so. To which i replied in detail the whole episode and within minutes i get a reply from some kamesh k (Highly unprofessional replies i must admit) saying
    Nothing about my concern but a generic one "regret the inconvenience and hope your next ride would be a pleasant one" and now another anil t tells me that my concern is not going to be resolved!!! What kind of people are employed at uber i am shocked.

    Driver name Ankit was canceled my trip without any reason after 5 mnt he called me and told me I can't Come because I am at home that's why I can't come and he canceled my trip so without my fault why uber gave me outstanding. I will not pay because this not my fault

    Uber is providing Very Poor services in India and no care provided to the customers.

    Company is fraud, sending false sms of discount on ride and drivers are thief not giving any discount as per promotional sms and trying to theft.

    no support or customer care number is available.

      I boarded the uberpool at 5:31pm from logix cyber park today it showed me the fare @99 and 2 more passengers boarded it but at the time of drop of the 2nd customer my drop location was changed from rajnagar extension to kavi nagar ghaziabad and the total fare charges were 246 which is quite unjust as if i had to pay ₹ 246 i would have taken a single cab what's the point of boarding in uberpool the driver made me talk to the person in driver support customer care he was too rude and didn't even solved the issue instead disconnected the call stating to the driver that he had to take the entire sum from me.
      I m seriously disappointed with this behaviour and would request you to kindly look into the matter and solve it asap.

      We usually take 45 mins to reach from my pick up to the drop but the second rider in the pools destination was totally out of the way and we took 1 he 20 mins to reach our destination. It's was not only out of the way but also very shady. Please compensate for the time we wasted or adjust it in my next ride

        The below email i have written on 13th nov to uber call center and grievance officer but there is no reply from uber india. I think they have stopped received any complain call from email or phone. As they are master in business and making money as they tell please login to tools and use faq and that is not for any use and they don't accept any written complain for any of the issue and more over they charge extra by saying trip has been cancelled even though if that is there mistake.

        If someone book cab for flight or train and uber driver and uber india does not turn up then you can understand how they care for your trip. They even not introduce any complain feature in mobile apps as they don't want to keep track of any email and can enjoy on public money including all their cab driver.

        I want to lodge a written complain to uber cab service at bangalore for airport drop. Please give us complain number and keep record the communication email dated 13th november to uber grievance officer to proper resolution.

        The incident took place with me yesterday with driver cab number 2085 – driver name as pradeep at bangalore. I booked my cab for airport drop at 17:00 hrs and also called driver multiple times he has not responded well and told coming coming coming and at 17:25 hrs as sudden received message saying trip has been cancelled by driver and this was big surprise how uber is handling their services for airport drop. When i called driver then he told that book another cab.

        Due this negligence of service from uber i have lost my flight for delhi from bangalore which was for flight indigo and total financial lost has been occurred as 32, 000/- fare plus work loss approx. 1, 00000/-, mental harassment from uber driver would be additional to cost approx. 2, 0000/-.

        This is not acceptable from any cab service for emergency service drop like airport / railway station etc.. I have all proof of evidence and need action on my complain from uber cab service, moreover uber is giving rating as 4 start for their driver and cab service and charged me additional 52 rupees and cancellation fees. I think this is big trick from uber to make money out from their customer.

        I request to look into the case and investigate further. I will wait for the reply from uber on this. If there is no response from uber on this then i have no option rather than move to social media / consumer court for justice.

          I have used uber cab service on saturday 11.11.2017 from airport t-3 departure terminal to metro enclave pushp vihar sec-7, saket and i was over charged for this trip. Before starting trip the fare estimate shown to me is rs. 300 but after the trip i was charged for rs. 485. Toll and waiting charges taken from me was an unfair practice as no toll has been taken by the driver as i took the cab from departure terminal of t3 at airport and there would be no toll applicable also driver start the drive late.             Please help me to login in my uber account, i just change my phone and when i try to login in uber account bt because of some reason i can't login in my account, i did'nt chnage my number bt still there is some problem to login i also try to do forget password but uber didn't provide me any link to reset password but still i m facing a same problem so plsease help to login in my account.

              I had booked an uber on 18 nov 2017 in morning at 9.30 from pratap nagar to gole dakhanna. The payment which i have to pay is 79.37 and after completing the trip i paid rs 80 to the driver.

              On 19 nov 2017 when i book another uber cab the message came " you have a rs 79.37 payment due and payment for your last trip could not be completed. But i paid rs 80 cash on that particular date. It says the payment would be charged in your next trip.

                I was travelling with my wife and 6 months old baby and the driver after accepting the booking request and when i called him, he asked me the destination, when i mentioned santacruz that driver never came back. And i was waiting for that driver calling him continuously and he kept on disconnecting and finally he asked me to cancel the trip and when i said i won't he then cancelled the trip after making me wait for 20 mins. This happened twice, post which i had to book a cab in surge charge. I strongly opposes this unprofessional behavior of the drivers. I demand to file a complaint against these people who are making customers wait and finally cancel their booking. I was with my family else i would have went to that driver who was only at 2 mins distance and would have took him to the police. I want to talk to uber customer care executive regarding this unprofessional behavior

                NO UPDATE ON THIS Left myself, my wife & 6 months old baby on stranded road at night 11pm, Uber drivers denied & cancelled trip destination after accepting Cab request.On raising concern Uber deactivated my account [protected] #UberDictatorship.

                    Hi uber support

                    I am writing this email to you to inform a incident happen with me. I have booked a cab from my home to gaur central mall. The cab timing for reaching to destination was shown 10 minutes so i called driver and ask to come at location. I was waiting for my cab when uber app shown that the driver is only one minutes away then i made a call to him but his phone was busy more than fifteen minutes. Driver picked my call after that i asked to him to come location he was giving excuses that he is coming. Driver was so much rude and not well mannered as i expected.

                    After waiting for more minutes i again called to him and ask he said he will not go and cancelled my pickup. I asked to him why he had cancelled if he don’t want to go he can inform before so that i can book some other cab. I said that i will lodge a complaint about the behavior and issue to uber. He had started to abuse me like teri behan ki *, maa ki *. He was using abusing words continuously more than a minutes he abused to me. I had replied. I paid you a lot of money as u can check my history by email id. Even then today i listen the abusing words by such kind o[censored]nprofessional drivers.

                    Now the question arises that why uber hired such kind o[censored]nprofessional drivers who abused to those customers who gives the business to uber. They treated the customer like they are needy peoples and driver can do anything with them. They don’t afraid form uber actions because what you people will do you will reduce their rating and one or two days they will get little bit low pickup or dropup.
                    Uber doesn’t concern about their customer like their safety and their respect. Why customer will hire such kind of cab from a company who don’t have the values of their customer, due to this incident you are losing your customer and their faith too.

                    Driver abused me take a strict action against driver and set an example on in front of driver so that they will not try to do this with customer. I lost my believe from uber and today uber lost a good customer. Driver abused me it hits my self-respect. Take a strict action against him otherwise i will lodge a complaint in consumer forum. Uber had also charged 42 rs i don’t now why may be this amount will give to driver because he abused to customer.
                    If you want to validate these things incase if you want proof then i had recorded the incident. Take a strict action driver and make me believe that i can trust uber. Details of driver is mentioned below:-

                      As i irshad kc booked through a mobile number [protected] on 19/11/17 6.0clock from karukapilly to ernakulam south jn railway station, as usual uber driver mr. Ansar with phone number[protected]
                      When i reached the road within seconds his cab was not there so i tried to contact him, he didn't took the phone. And i tried to hire uber 2nd time this time also i got his car by uber he didn't come 2nd time so i canceled because my time is wasting and my train time is 6:45 from source i lost all the way to reach railway station by time so after i once again called him he give me lots of abuses and threats that he wil beat me and he wil come to my home as a gunda style and my loss is very huge as i lost my train and lost my self respect because of that gunda driver, please take a necessary action against him

                        I am really fed up of explaining the situation to uber support. Pls go through the below 3 points

                        1. See the attached email confirmation from uber customer care person (Joel) confirming a refund for the trip (Rs 1, 024)

                        2. Even after multiple followups after the confirmation from uber, uber customer care couldn't give me an eta for the refund and promised me to solve the issue asap. Now i do not understand them replying me my trip is old and they are not able to resolve the issue even after promising the refund and with multiple followups from my end.

                        3. The driver has confirmed that he has settled the issue with uber and returned the money to uber, so actually uber has taken duplicate payments from the customer and even after promising for the refund, they are cheating customers.

                        This is not about the money now but it is really about cheating the customer after promising for the refund as well as threatening mentioning uber will not be able to continue with the request when it is their fault not giving me an eta for refund even with multiple followups.

                        I am not sure i[censored]ber has any escalation point which really look into these matters.

                          Dear sir,

                          I am using uber taxi service for my travelling purpose. Today's my travelling experience was something amazing. I will explain, i booked and uber pool service, at the time of booking charges displayed india rs.43/- for my destination which selected on booking time. On the way of travelling uber is getting another customer booking, they are picking and dropping customers.
                          When i reached my destination driver is asking fair for india rs.73/-, unfortunately i paid that extra amount and the driver told me to make a complaint against uber you will get back extra amount which charged extra.

                          I need my extra amount and your service unnecessary waste my time for your other customers pickup.

                          Please revert.

                            I have been a victim of fraud and abuse by this driver kailash on 17 nov 2017. He came to receive me at jaipur railway station with the sedan. I was accompanied by my wife and two toddlers had two language with me. He came during the rush hour and asked me for 20 rs extra per language. I was astonished at the audacity of the driver. I refused the ride. Later to redeem the situation and to pacify my family i had to shift them to adjoining restaurant. Later i booked another cab after a lag of 40 minutes. To my utter surprise i discovered a rs. 36.75 rs cancellation charges has been levied on me even when driver cancelled the ride. Which i paid along with my next bill. This is a blatant abuse o[censored]ber new policy. Kindly make swift move to check such miscreants and clean your system.

                            I would be always skeptical of the security of my loved ones due to such experience.

                              Today morning at 8.00 am i hired uber go vehicle driven by sri. Chandru. From brigade metropolis, mahadevapura, bangalore at 08.20 am he dropped me at the destination vydehi hospital, whitefield bangalore at.0.8.33 am and i paid rs.110/- against a demand of rs.107.10. I am surprised to find their mail informing "your driver reported that you didn’t pay the full amount. ₹ 107.18 will be due on your next trip"

                              I contacted the/driver sri. Cbandru and he confirmed receipt of the amount. Kindly note theirr statement is is not based on facts and is malicious. Please take necessary steps to make corrections in their records and confirm.

                                Yesterday i travelled from brigade road to j p nagar 8th phase through uber pool. When i reached my house i dint have internet and even the driver told that his net was not working. So he told me to pay rs. 70.00. I payed rs.70.00 and got down.
                                But now my uber is asking to pay rs. 70.00 to the next trip. This is very unfair.
                                Please sort out this issue and refund my money as early as possible.

                                  I don't understand why am i supposed to pay any credit. I know the day it registered in my account and that was because your driver didn't pick me up and cancelled my ride while it was my university examination day.
                                  And after that when i used uber for another ride, of course i was suppose to pay the credit amount too, and yes i did, even though the fare for my ride was showing near zero inr.
                                  Still why is there a credit that i've already paid!

                                    On november 10, 2017 i travelled by a taxi driven by one mr. Gautam kamble from motilal nagar ii, goregaon west to my residence at dosti acres. At the time of booking my ride i was informed that the fare will be rs.371. I therefore booked the taxi. On arriving at the destination mr. Gautam's mobile showed that the amount payable was rs.516.77. I showed him the fare for the trip shown by you was only rs.371. He could not explain why the amount payable by me was shown at rs.516.77. Mr. Gautam then contacted your office and spoke to someone. That person went on telling mr. Gautam that he must collect rs. 516.77 from me. That person from your office, whose tone of speaking was unnecessarily authoritative, said to me also that i must pay rs.516.77 and gave me the break up of the amount which i could not understand clearly. I said i am not interested in the break up. What i want to know is why are you insisting that i must pay rs.516.77 when your own system had shown that the fare for the trip will be rs.371 only. The gentleman from your office could not give me any reason for the difference in the amounts and went on repeatedly saying the same thing which he had said here, that is i must pay rs.516.77. Finally i got tired of talking to him. I genuinely felt unhappy with uber and sorry to say, thought that some attempt was being made to cheat me by overcharging without giving any justification for the difference in the amount quoted at the beginning of the trip and at the end of the trip. I therefore paid mr. Gautam rs.371/- as per the fare initially quoted by you.
                                    Even now i have not understood why you are saying that i owe you rs.145.77. You have stated that this is a "balance due" i do not remember having travelled in the past leaving a balance of rs.145.77 unpaid. Then how are you claiming it as balance due?
                                    I think there is some mistake. I request you to rectify your records and withdraw this claim of rs.145.77 which i believe is not at all payable by me.

                                      Dear uber,

                                      This was a worst experience i had with an uber. Im never ever going to use uber. I booked an uber and he told he will come after a drop and he didn't pick my call after that. Then after some 35 min it was directed to some other driver and even he didnt pick the call and he didn't come for 30 min, exactly waited for almost 1 hr. A worst experience. Lost my bus which was booked for 700rs just because o[censored]ber. Lost 700rs. Worst and worst experience.

                                        At 11:15pm my uber ride picked me up from sakinaka sj studios, and was supposed to drop me off to pali market in bandra west. Both locations showed up correctly on my uber app which was opened while getting into the cab. The driver then began the trip following the directions from his phone but took a couple of wrong turns only to be circling around the same area in ghatkopar for 30minutes. Finally i got fed up and told him to take me back to the pickup location so that i could direct him properly. He started to get angry with me and yelled at me. He accused me of wasting his time and stopped the cab in the middle of nowhere forcing me to get out and refusing to take me to either the pick up or drop off location. He insisted that i was too busy on the phone to care and insisted that i pay him for this wild goose chase. I had no choice but to pay him the money. So far i have tried calling your so called costumer care to lodge a complaint but all uber off late seems to be good for is a wild goose chase. Absolutely no refund or email or even phone call from the costumer care. Thanks for nothing uber.
