I book a cab on 18thoct around 330pm from thane to borivali to catch a train at 530pm. I track the wagonr cab with driver details - tribhuvan ([protected]) near my house however it dint turned up till 445pm. Then i got a call wen i was already in other cab, with driver details - harinath hyundai ascent (Mh03-bc-9467) he said he is at our place and then he ask us to cancel the cab and when we denied saying we book at 330pm he said:apko kuch ni pta, pagal ho"cancel kro cab. Faltu me time khoti kia.. We almost missed our train an catch it at last minute due to this negligent behavior o[censored]ber service. We have been charged 48rs of cancellation wen we book the cab on 24th oct and that driver made us walked 2km along with 4 bags luggage and small infant baby in carry cot, cab details mahindra tuv (Sarfaraz - [protected]). What kind of service is being given to a lady. What is the point in booking cab if it din turned up on time and they give this kind of service and charging 462rs along with 47rs cancellation. Please refund money as its really discomfort and appauling service.

    I am extremely disappointed & surprised at the horrible customer service that i received for asking a clarification for a mistake on the part o[censored]ber.

    I had received an sms stating that i could get upto 50% off on ubergo till 23/10/17 on using a particular code which i trusted & boarded a cab on 23rd.

    To my surprise though the code did not work & i had to pay the driver a sum of 185/-. Their so called customer care executives were not ready to understand my predicament when i tried to contact them to inform about this.
    1) first, i was told that i must not have input the code or it would have surely worked. I thought that was a really dumb suggestion. So, i finally sent a screen shot of the code failure that i got & i thought uber would work on this with its able customer service.

    2) it didn't take me long to realise that i was dealing with dumb, mechanical individuals. Later, i was told that this is valid till 8 am on the last day that the coupon is valid till.

    This is something that was not mentioned in the message that i got stating that i am being "gifted' a coupon & so obviously its a mis-communication on their part. On trying to explain these to their esteemed team, all i got was a mechanical,"we understand your concern". And not once but numerous times!!!

    On an ethical note, i think i need to be refunded my money because i used their service in good faith hoping the code would work. The message from their end did not inform of the time limit on the last day.

    Also, i don't think that i am going to use their service again irrespective of me receiving a refund. It is pathetic.

      Sir/madam
      I would like to mention that i booked a uber pool cab on 23.10.2017 vide transaction id#5a65bff975403d3a92fc5d62bf1b5a0 from my office shivaji stadium to r. K. Puram. Since i booked cab through paytm so i did not pay the amount but the driver himanshu got down and came after me and asked for charges of rs.160/-. Under these unavoidable circumstances i had to pay him rs.160/-. I reported the matter to uber within no seconds but of no use.
      It is desired that you kindly intervene in the matter and the amount should br refunded to mr

      The company sent a standard computer generated message informing me to not pay for a non cash trip in the future. They did not even the content in the complaint. Moreover no message and call was received from the company. Trying to get in contact with the company officials doesn’t seem possible for a customer considering the response mechanism they adopt. This has led to mental frustration at my end. Kindly look into the issue and make the company liable for the financial and mental harassment I faced.

        We booked a uber cab from ‭[protected]‬ today 26 th october 2017 time 9:12 pm .
        His name is Anil car swift desire phone [protected]
        The driver from very begining was misbehaving . When we explain him the way he started misbehaving and we warned him that he will lodge a complaint. He cancelled the cab and again called saying go file a complaint he has filed a complaint against us and started abusing and abused very badly.
        It was a total cheap and non professional behavior . We are lodging a police complaint
        After disconnecting he is non stop calling us and misbehaving.

          Dear Sir/ Madam,
          I am writing this e-mail to report the worst experience i had today during my above mentioned ride. The driver in this trip was the worst person i have seen till today in all my past trips with Uber.
          Firstly, i had to wait much more longer than the estimated time as the driver reached my pick up point very late & that too after my phone call to him. He did not bother to call me. When i alighted the vehicle, he started shouting at me saying that i was standing at different point than that was shown on his device & that he expected me to reach where he was waiting & that it was my duty to call him immediately after i booked the trip as he could not afford to wait for long to get the passangers into his vehicle. He also refused to put the AC on when i requested, saying that he can't afford it.
          After all this he stopped the vehicle & told me that he is going to cancel the ride. I was surprised to see that i was charged Rs. 42.50 though the trip was cancelled by the driver. Due to this experience, i am very upset & started getting the feeling that i should not prefer Uber for my future rides which i was doing till today.
          I request you to look into this issue with top priority & take necessary disciplinary action on the driver & refund the money i was charged for this trip as it was the driver's fault completely.
          Hope you will take the necessary action immediately so as to keep me satisfied & keep me using Uber services regularly in the future.

            While booking for a ride from uber app it shows an expected fare calculated so that you can decide whether to book the ride or not.
            If you book by checking the fare its just waste because at the end they are charging more that the amount shown prior.
            You are helpless that time cant do anything except raising the refund request.
            Again if you raise the refund request they will not refund the amount by giving lame excuses that surge was high, demand was high, if driver followed wrong path, traffic might be the reason.

            If you will try to explain them that no traffic was there driver followed his own path shown by gps they will not refund in any case and every time same reason.
            These days it is usually happening with me and requesting for refund is not working as i regularly use cab for office so everyday raising request and chasing them to refund is very irritating.

            Today I booked a cab from shriram lotus lohegaon to Rmd singhad college Mumbai Pune bypass but driver dropped us at vadgaon singhad college driver name is shri krushina vehicle no MH 12 KN 7875 due to Driver mistake I was very disturbed

              Hi,

              I have booked couple of rides in bangalore and hyderabad between 22nd oct - 24th oct 2017, when am trying to download the invoice from uber portal the amount i paid is completely different on invoice what i actually paid, there were 6 rides costing around inr 3000, wherein am getting the invoices for inr 2200+ amount, i have to submit these invoices to my office.

              I need all invoices with the correct amount.

                I am 75 years old and my wife 70. I hired for the first time uber cab from uber app on mobile no [protected], from sector 37 c chandigarh to sector 18 d chandigarh and paid cash ie. About rs 98/-. To driver as asked far.. At about 6 pm i again hired uber cab from sector 18 d to sector 37 c chandigarh and paid the cash ie. Rs.134. To driver as asked far.

                Now when i opened uber cab, i see there is message "complete rs.42/- payment for previous trip."
                I am at a loss to under stand how and why this message is there on my uber app, as i i have paid all the amount of to and fro from sector 37 c to sector 18d chandigarh. Kindly see and delete the message from my app. And oblige.

                  Hi,
                  I booked uber go today at 6:30 am around (26th-oct-2017), after one minute of the booking confirmation, driver changed the status as arriving in one minute, later i went to the pickup location there is no cab. And i given call to driver he said he is somewhere and it takes more time to come to pickup point. And i asked him to cancel the ride because that is not my mistake and if i cancel i need to pay some penalty, that is the reason i asked driver to cancel, if he is unable to pick me. But he didn't cancel the cab till 1 hour and later he canceled the trip and uber app asking me to pay penalty.

Like this many times happened, I tried to call Uber customer care but seems no Uber customer care numbers are working. This not fair, it seem Driver wantedly done it for the penalty money.

                    I have been using uber service from a long time now. But this incident on 18th oct 2017 in the night around 11pm when i requested uber to go back home from international airport.

                    I was quite relaxed after requesting as i thought the cab would arrive within the mentioned timeline but i was standing like a fool for almost 40mins by the cab driver with a reason of he not able to come to the location... Like who says that he is not able to find the location of international parking floor 7??? He said he is new to uber which i understand and sometimes it happens but he was struggling so much that i couldn't be more patient and had to cancel the booking.
                    I was charged 47rs for what??? For me waiting 40mins? For the driver not able to locate? This is absolutely not fair.. This is just my case and i guess there would be millions using this service and have experienced such service atleast once with 47rs cancellation charges

                    Now you can imagine amount generated due to this cancellation charges by uber

                    I use other cab services also and never experienced such incidents.

                    My trust for uber is going for a toss and i feel i have been cheated.

                    Please try to address this matter to uber at higher authority and look into it

                    I can only wait and hear on this.

                      I have booked from rajiv chowk matro station to huda metro station driver mahesh suzuki wagon up 14dt3029.
                      After reaching on location. Driver mahesh told us i will not go huda city centre because of toll tax problem which he has to paid. Then he told i will drop to shiva jee metro station without any charge and said change ur location immediately. He drop me but charges are showing to pay. Then he told u have to order another driver then i order another driver. Right now i m in uber. So, i will not pay extra money to ur uber driver. So. Be alert.. Otherwise it should be bad. Charges showing
                      462 inr to huda city centre and shiva jee metro station 32 inr i will nt pay.

                        I was charged 42 rs for cancellation. The driver did not arrive at my pickup location and cancelled the trip. This happening to frequent with uber drivers. The same thing happened uber at pune airport they dont want to come to the uber pickup location they wait then they cancel it,

                        2nd at pune airport they should allow uber car which has no space for luggage as they have big gas cylinder in the dicke/boot. This causes lot hassles at airport and railway people want to travel outstation.

                          I commute to office via electronics city flyover, and have complained about this lack of transparency in the bills leading to confusion between driver and rider. Uber support is pathetic. They write back any irrelevant response about payment mode being card; and on following up they copy-paste the same answer. Is this how they have been trained to address queries they don't have an answer for, just for the sake of closing their tickets on time? It's easy to shut your eyes and ignore issues in your system, but i had way too much respect for uber on the technology front to have such an idiotic and image-ruining support staff. I seriously hope they do more monitoring on how tickets are closed and take these laggards to task.

                            On 25th oct 2017 5:36pm i took cab from bhagyahsree industries pvt ltd to banjara hills gvk one mall. On half way my mobile was out of battery and its switched off. After i reached the mall i forgot my mobile in the cab bcoz it dark and my phone is black. My phone is iphone 7 black color.

                            And immediately i wrote complain and give details to uber on website, until now there is no response from uber.

                            I got very important documents and info in the phone. Pls send me the driver number and give me details. Thank you. I can pay some money to the driver as well
                            If not i will complain to police to find it back.

                              In connection with the above mentioned subject this is for your information that i have cancelled almost more than 5 rides due to some time related issue. It was an emergency and i was always given a cab which were far away from my location, in stead of allowing a cab which was just 2 minutes away. Due to this i was shown this error. Kindly look into the matter so that i can at least book a cab as early as possible. I have not done it to cause any inconveniences to the company. Simply i had some time bound issues! Thanks.

                                I am frequent flyer and take cabs to and from airport
                                For my drive on oct 6 2017 5:39 pm from t1d to faridabad i was overcharged by additional airport convienence fees of rs. 157.50. The airport charges the fees from t1 arrival not t1 departure. However inspite of repeat communication, i get incorrect information/ reply that it is airport which charges.
                                I regularly use ola and i can share the bills with you. I have never been charged for entering the airport at t1d.
                                If you have deposited the payment at airport for entering t1d kindly share the receipt with me because then uber is unique which is charged but ola is not charged for entering in t1d.
                                Previously i have communicated through app. This is my repeat communication in this regard and now feeling harassed. I will request you to refund the money or suggest me the way to take to higher body

                                  But my number has been suspended saying that i violated their terms and conditions.

                                  When asked for what was that activity that violated the terms and conditions of yours, they aren't ready to respond.

                                  I understand your frustration but unfortunately manual intervention is not possible in this process to remove the supension on your account. I have no further information i can provide beyond the fact that we won't be able to reverse the suspension.

                                  Although you might not have had the intention, the system automatically flags accounts with activities that overstep our terms and conditions and suspends them.

                                  Hope this clarify.

But the consumer has all the rights to know why and what is that activity that violated your terms and conditions, holding the fact that i haven't used uber at all.                                     I have travelled with ubergo from igi d-1 arrival to iit delhi on 23rd oct 2017. It has charged me twice t-1 airport surcharges (Rs.150 + rs.150). I really don't get the how they charge twice the airport surcharges. The total amount charged was 525.76 out of that they charged twice rs.150 + rs.150 for airport surcharges. Please look into this matter and refund the money into my patym account.

                                      Hi team,

                                      Yesterday on 24th oct i booked a uber and the driver name was shyam singh and his contact no is [protected]. Actually my drop was at sector 142, advant business park and i gave money to the driver unfortunately i forget my mobile phone moto g5 plus in the cab after 5 min only i tried calling on my no. Somebody picked my call two times but haven't spoke anything and after that my phone was switched off. I tried calling driver but he is telling that he has not found any mobile in the cab as well as he was telling me that after my drop he pick up a local passenger and so he is telling he is not aware of the mobile phone.

                                      Now my ques is first of all it was not a local bus or auto it is a uber india cab so the driver and uber people are totally responsible for the loss of my mobile phone. And also it is the responsible o[censored]ber india that how could a driver can pick a local passenger.

                                      Now i request you people to take an action against the driver and i want my mobile phone back as soon as possible otherwise i will have to take a strict action against the driver as well as the uber india.
                                      It was a very bad experience with uber.

                                        Vehicle no - as-01bc - 9175 purposefully blocked the road in beltola, jayanagar, guwahati. He blocked the road and was conversing with a rickshaw puller. We honked to clear the road but to no avail. After about 10 min he physically got down and started abusing my wife. Totally drunk. We feel sorry i[censored]ber has started employing drunkards and abusive persons. We wont feel safe with uber. Pls take corrective actions before things go out of hand. Will be reporting a complaint with the manager, uber, jayanagar, guwahati. If no action taken, we will escalate!!!
