I had booked uber in pune the car no was mh14cx9813, driver name was rachappa.
After the reaching destination i was asked to pay 150/-while booking i received rs 109.85, to be paid.
On my refusal for paying more i was abused and given bad words with my fly n kids with me.
He threatened me with dire consequences if i did not part with same.
Ultimately i had to part with the same.
Is this the way your firm works??? Total goondaism!!!

I interned to take this matter at high level if i do not receive a convincing reply n refund of my balance amount & apology from this unruly driver.

Driver name is Senthil Kumar. I booked a cab on Sep 13 2017. As it was his first trip he asked cash of 500 for diesel. And also I paid trip payment money 500 through debit card. Now I have totally 1000 on a 500rp trip. I requested for refund both from driver and from uber website. But no one is refunding my money.driver is not answering my call.

    Hi,

    This is regarding a uber service i requested today morning @9.58. The cab number is kl 22 j 4061, toyota ethios & driver name is alameen (If i remember correctly). I have attached the snippet from my uber history. The trip was from kazhakuttom to leela building technopark trivandrum.

    The cab was 6 mints away when i booked. The cab driver called me @9.59 & asked my location. I told him where i am & he disconnected the call. I waited for 6 mints & i could see that the car was not moving, so i called the cab driver @10.05. I have attached the call details. He again asked me the location & i told him where am standing again & he said he is on his way & after sometimes i could see that he cancelled the trip. I was waiting for the cab for about 30 mints. This is really irritating & very disappointing & very harsh behaviour. He could have told me that we would be able to take up the trip when he called me first time. Then i had to book another cab to reach my office. Because for this poor uber service i was late to office today & missed my morning team meeting.

    So i would like to register a complaint about that uber driver's rude behaviour & poor cab service.

      This is a complaint i am registering on behalf of my mother-in-law.

      She took an uber from airport to home ie; "pranav residency" 3rd floor, 3rd cross sai enclave, near m. S. Ramaiah city layout, 7th phase j. P. Nagar bengaluru - 76

      After boarding the vehicle they took off and before entering bengaluru there is a toll plaza. The driver forced my mother-in-law to pay for the toll, since my mother-in-law is from pune, maharashtra, we had told her that there is no need to pay the toll as it is included in the fare. But, when she refused to pay the driver for the toll, the driver retaliated and forced her, after which she told him that she would get down and take another uber, then the driver threatened her, and since my mother-in-law had both her knees replaced she couldn't do anything as she feared for her bags. This shook her tremendously, and hence she paid rs. 818 instead of rs. 650.
      After all this when my mother-in-law requested for the toll receipt the driver till the end refused to give it.

      This once even happened to me good thing is i am from karnataka and speak kannada due to which i could talk my way through. But this is not done. Duping people coming from other cities.

      I request immediate action on this as this happened on 8th october and came to my light recently.

        We have booked a cab for new delhi railway stn from vatika aptts mayapuri, through my mobile, the javed driver veh no. Up14ft8599, first asked that where you have to go than he said that l am at airport you can cancel the cab, l told him that you pl cancel it as you are denying to go but after my 2-3 calls he did not picked his phone and neither cancelled the cab, so please see that we
        Have to use and havve to take the services of some other vendor.
        Pl see we should not be bear any charges as well as these drivers should be taught some manners also.

        I have been victim o[censored]ber's poor service 3 times in past 15 days. Customer service is pathetic as if replies are given by bots. In spite of explaining issue multiple times they just send standard illogical reply. More than losing money the frustration is that they don't care about the issues. Will they behave same in USA or any other country?

          19th of after noon i was booked a cab in kolkata car no - wb19g9263 driver name - pradip when i was called the driver he asked me where to go the he will come, 1st i reply i already mentio the drop location, he was very rude while the comunication time,
          I was remaind him not to be very rude he shout's at me and told me to cancel my ride and abuse me also, what kind of service is this, i was in a happy mood but
          Post which i was very sad for this incedent after that i saw post so much of humuliation from uber also they charged me 47rs also i will field a case againest them, my friends are told me previously uber is very poor service in terms of driver but i saw this first time, i know that uber owner also a same person like this driver
          Pradip because that the reason people's are faceing so many problem from driver but no resulution i will share my expireance to every whare i am comon men i can do anything.

            Suddenly uber had charged money as outstanding which is very very bad. My account name is susnata banerjee. Pls clear all outstanding. Previously this same type of practice has happened with me. I had paid the fare but a message came that i had some outstanding dues which is very bad then i clear all dues. Today at about 1 pm driver cancelled the trip and a charged came to my phone that is rs 47 had to paid what it is?

            In Bangalore for 10kms raid i have charged Rs443.14 today by Uber. To surprise I found they have charged surge x1.8 but same was not charged earlier. In India it is not legal to charge surge as they are charging peak hour charges.UberX Receipt, . Base fare : 52.5, Time : 86.22, Normal fare : Rs 246.19, Surge x1.8 : 196.95, Subtotal : Rs443.14

              I took a ride in jaipur at 16. Oct 13.11. Expected cost 106rs. My start point was near shop and end in the garden. After i arrived to gardens, i moved inside and was walking. After some time i've received sms stating charge 823rs. I was shocked. I checked my ride details.in this details i found that driver was at amber fort. But this is mistake, i wasn't there. I was sitting in the sisodia rani ka bagh!
              I wrote complaint to the uber immediately. But nobody have still answered me!
              I was not aware that uber india permits drivers to change destinations without passenger will! Uber russia request direct changes from passenger to change destination. So i never check that driver completes ride!

              Since uber states they answer complaints in 24h, i have to escalate to government department tomorrow (After 3.5 days of waiting). I'm sorry but there is no another way to make things work.

              Guys who read me, please escalate your conflicts because you are living in great country and this kind of service discredits it completely! Because it is simple scam!
              That's in your power to makes things work. I'm living here about half a year and most of services i had deal with didn't make anything until i escalate problem. Look, it is only 2% of solved issues! That's a real shame!

                Several times i have experienced changes in expected time of arrival (Eta) from uber side.in the recent past, i have booked a trip from white field, bangalore to krishnarajapuram, bangalore on 7th october at 4.00 pm (16.00 hrs) i confirmed the trip as the eta was about 14 mnts, later, after 10 mnts, when i was waiting for the cab at the pick-up point, the eta got changed to 18 mnts., since my train depart at 17.25 from krishnarajapuram, i was little upset and called the driver, he in turn said that he is on the way to drop the customer and will reach there in 7-8 mnts, i could see his vehicle was coming towards my pickup area only, after waiting another 10 mmnuits, i again called him and told him that i have to catch the train, that time i could see, he was picking up an another customer and going further and the eta what i could see in my apps was 24 minuets. I called him again but i could not get a responsible answer from him, instead, he cancelled the trip. The uberapps automatically given me an another vehicle no. And eta of another 28 minuets. I was under tremendous pressure and upset as i was getting delayed to reach the railway station, i picked up an auto rickshaw and left for the station. All these activities and uber's system of irresponsibilities took about 45 minuets of my valid time and put me under pressure.
                Funny thing again, after all these non-sense from uber's side, i got an information from uber that they are charging rs. 43/- (Fortythree only) as cancellation fee.

                This is not the first time uber services mess-up with the services, two days back (15th october, 2015) i booked a cab from shangumugham to kerala police head quarters, vazhuthacaud, my position per uber apps was shangumukham and only the destination i put as hq, keralapolice. The eta was about 12 minutes at that point of time, after 12 minuets driver called me and said he can't come to that area, when i asked him, then why did you accept my request, he was silent. I could see him picking up an another customer from shangumukham and driving away. Later i got a mail that the trip is over and you have charged rs. 69.81, i don't even know who travelled and where, but uber apps shown as i have been travelled.

                I'm expecting an explanation and suitable compensations penalty for the negligent action by uber team.

                Drive behave rudely and refuse to reach on pick up point we have to pay penalty for cancel the ride even driver ask to cancel drive.poor service ever. Return my penalty amount.I am using uber since last 1 and this is disguisting .You cheat ur user and behave bad even impose penalty on driver’s mistake.

                  I had a ride with uber early morning around 5.00 am from rajouri garden to anand vihar bus stop. I had booked with the amount 312 where the they charge me 400 rupees. That the company is pathetic and charge what they show me earlier.
                  Will not be trust with the pathetic company. Need my refund. Back.
                  As you you know word of mouth is spreads early will let everyone know about default company.

                      I have booked cab from gandhi nagar, alwarthirunagar to cpwd quarters, anna nagar, chennai around 8.30 p. M to-day.
                      I got a call that the driver informing that he is waiting at prasad nagar
                      And it could be the gps problem. Since i did not get the cab as requested,, i had to cancel. When i called up 3318 5292, it was not allowing. I was speaking from my registered mobile number[protected]. To my crude surprise you have charged rs.30/- towards cancellation charges.
                      It is not fair and you need to understand that i did not get the cab as requested and that is the reason i had to cancel. The driver also suggested to cancel from my uber app.in the light of the above facts please cancel the charges and allow me to continue as a happy customer

                        Disgusting service uber. The driver did not even arrive. And u guys dont look after customer but driver preference is first. Wow.. Really? Customer is lying. Waited for so long he did not turn up and cancelled the ride then it showed paymnt pndng i cudnt book a cab nd faced so much difficulty. Drivers time is everythng and my time is nothing. What a hyprocrite peoples. Hate this service now. Why should i pay unnecessarily. From now on i will stop using uber and will reccomnd my family and friends to not use uber. Do whatever but i wont pay when its the drivers fault.

                          Hi i was booked the cab for one of my friend and the mode of payment is non cash like used my debit card details but my friend not aware that i was booked on non cash mode it is fully raining and the small distance also they charged huge amount so after finish the trip the amount needs to pay as 0 displayed but the driver asked my friend to pay cash why he need to pay money i was selected the mode of payment non cash so it should deduct from my card while taking the drviers into uber you people cant teach them minimum things like what is cash mode and what is non cash mode as its fully raining my friend also in hurry he paid the cash intresting thing is that the driver had dont know the trip fare as he charged more than trip fare from friend now the thing is when i tried to book a cab in uber it is asking to clear the previous trip due why should i need to pay again money for the same trip which my friend already paid and it is more than the trip fare when i raise the concern the supporting team is telling that payment made it on cash for noncash mode trip as considered as transaction outside the system then what i need to do why cant people will check with driver and why i need to pay twice? The trip was on 9/10/2017 at 10:55 pm the driver name is ravikumar how you people will go further on this this is totally fraud

                            We had booked a car from nexa showroom, park street, kolkata. The fare was showing 3times of normal fare, since i had old parents with me, i booked it. The driver arrived almost 15 mins later.in spite of mentioning exact location, he left the location and went almost 500 m ahead to leave the previous passenger. We had to walk on the extremely busy road to catch up with him. After asking him, he said we are helpless and uber will do whatever he wants.

                              Uber has very poor services. I chosen payment method as paytm, but after completion of trip, driver has taken cash of Rs.333 from me. N also amount has deducted from paytm account . PFA the paytm receipt.                                 I had booked a uber on 27 - sept -2017 and i was charged surcharge of 6 times of the original charge as the driver noticed us that we were running late to catch a flight and we were not concentrating on the ride and the amount. The bill had come to 2200 rs as a surprise since we couldnot fight more. We had to pay the bill and come to catch the flight. Later i got this issue rectified with uber support and got 1300 rs credited. And to my surprise since 27 september i coudlnot use the credits. Always the option goes for cash and if at all i have to book a uber by default the cash is selected and i am unable to change to the credits and the credits are also lowering down. I would have asked or approached uber support through messages noone could acctually solve the issue. Here the screen shot attached as how only cash gets selected and i m unable to change to these credits. I have lost the patience on this issue now

                                  I was keep on getting sms from dz-mkuber saying to bring documents for partership with uber. But i am not interested in that. I tried many ways to contact uber to stop sending such sms not relating to me. Finally i got one number that is [protected] but when i try to reach number, it has got only options to additions of partenrs/profit motive only. But no option for any others customet queries. I feel uber is there to make profit only selling not servicing. Kindly get the issue sorted out asap.

                                    On 16th october 2017 i booked a uber cab for my destination after showing a waiting time of 15 minutes. After confirmation, the driver enquired about my destination. He told me that he will reach in 15 minutes. After waiting for 10 minutes, i called the driver who told me that he will drop someone and will take 1hour to reach. When i asked him why did he not inform us in the first call. He said he will not be able to come. He also said the he will not cancel the ride and forced us to do it. We were charged with 42 rs cancellation fees. We were mislead and after waiting for so long at the pick up point we were forced to cancel the ride. Why did uber d show waiting time if 15 minutes. Why did the driver say he will take 15 minutes to reach. But after knowing our destination, the driver told us he will take more than one hr when we called him for the second time after waiting for 10 minutes. He didnot even bother to call and inform us. Please refund the cancellation fee. Me and my parents faced a lot of incovinience

                                      I was charged with incorrect cancellation fee for the trip which i never had. Driver cancelled the trip by himself after 5 minutes. When i booked another ride i was charged rs 42, for the trip i have not taken. From now onwards i would never prefer it or suggest it to anyone else because this is not the first issue i have with uber. I just want my refund.

                                        To day at 10.55 a. M i booked uber for my journey from nbcc vibgyor tower, new town to batista 30 bus stand when the fare showed rs.172 but at the end of journey the fare showed a huge amount as rs.749. This is quite wrong and baseless. I have paid the fare rs.172 to the driver mr. Asghar as shown at the time of booking. Please let me know why this harrassment happened to me.

                                        Hi, One uber cab having registration number MH12 K 8258 was driving very rush in mundhwa area in front of Orbis school where kids are going to schools at 8:45 Am.Driver was overtaking ladies and passing comments over them. He seems to have sick mentality. Kindly take necessary action before he commit any serious crime.
