One i booked uber taxi to go to ahmedabad airport from sac guest house
I have waited nealy 15 minutes
The driver has not responded for calls.
Due to this i cancelled the uber trip and gone through auto to airport to catch the flight.
Now i am trying to book uber,
After completion of total process for taxi booking
Every time i am getting message that i haven't paid the cancellation charges on that day.
There is no specific button to accept or reject the same message.
Due to this i am unable to utilize the service o[censored]ber as and when required.

Kindly see the earlier process and calls made to driver

    I took a uber ride from rgi airport to my house on 4th oct at 23.37. The payment method i selected was paytm. On the way we stopped at 2 tool booths and drive asked me to pay for parking and orr tool. He said the policy has changed and now the parking and toll needs to be paid by the customer and it's not included in the total payment in paytm. At 23:37 i had no way to check the policy standing at the toll booth. As per uber, it was my mistake that i paid case for the toll and parking even though it was a non-case payment trip. Even though i have the proof of payment that i made they refuse to give me refund. They keep referring to some previous instance where they had given me the refund, however refuse to share which was that previous instance.

    I have proof of the case payment i made as well as the paytm payment i made for the parking and toll. Uber refuses to refund stating it's my fault and i should have checked the policy middle of the night and middle of the road.

    I have attached the receipt of the cash payment that i made.. And the company has the receipt of the non cash payment made.

      At khurram nagar, near mahanagar to khurram nagar ring road your uber taxi no up 32 gn 5409 hit my car up32ec8779 and dameged the front. I was stand in thr traffic and your uber car came from front opposite side and hit my standing car and after that your cab driver was called to stop the uber taxi but he ran away. I noted the car no and informed the near chowki. Now i want my repair damage. Else i will file the case in appropriate court.

        I had booked today through the uber counter in kolkatta at 4.26 pm for 3 hours.in fact if it is point to point it was showing rs 345. For 3 hours hiring it was rs 785. Mr amir with phone number [protected] was the driver. I had to pay rs 800 for the travel only point to pint as the driver app was not showing 3 hours. I incurred additional expenses of rs 440.

          The driver was not arrived & didn't call me. The ride was automatically cancelled & on 29th september, 2017 the cancellation charge of rs.47.25 was added with my ride & i had paid rs. 165.00.

          Please arrange to reverse the unintentionally reversal amount of rs.47.25.

          We selected an address (GT mall) which showed a bill of Rs 314 and we changed address to nearer point and got dropped at navrang which should be charged less than that. I was charged RS 380. Which is very high amount. Which is around 15 km. How can that cost a charge of Rs 380 ??? I need a fair justification. It's very experience with Uber

            I live in nagarjuna apartments, plot a1 chilla, mayu kunj, new delhi, 110096. Unfortunately we are on the border of noida between the mcd toll booth and the noida entrance. There is always confusion regarding the toll payment. But nagarjuna has an arrangement with mcd that our guards give stamped chits so that the rs 100 does not get charged. Nevertheless uber charges me rs 100 for the mcd toll even though neither me nor the driver is charged this because their gps is so backwards that they do not recognize what the exact border. Interestingly, ola's gps does!!! Uber has profited rs 100 per ride for hundreds of rides. When i complain, some of their respondents give me a refund and some give me a long-winded story and refuse to.

            Have taken uber from chhattarpur metro station to temple tree school inside maidan garhi road around 02:15 to 02:30pm on 02.10.2017 . I just left my samsung J7 (6) mobile phone in it. I just called many times on my no bt it appears to be switched off

              Sir, my trip is non-cash trip and payment paid automatically deduct paytm portal. And after driver received cash also. A contact uber but is not satisfactory answer, as a taxi international company. It is not the question of money, this shows the integrity of your employee. At least make proper investigation, do not cover & provide shelter to cheaters. Driver name was dhanveer, i called him immediately, but he is not responding intentially. We expect some action must be taken, my family is regular costumer o[censored]ber.

                I regret taking trip in uber because im fighting it out with their so called "customer care" to get the refund for my not-taken trip. I was charged the amount from pay tm. And the customer care personal responds that they wont refund since the route in that trip is like the regular route i usually take. Seriously??? Do they not understand? Its better to use ola as they have an verification code system that ensures that the customer takes the trip and no misuses

                  On 7th oct i toom uber cab from bangalore airport to paurva panorama kalena agrahara. The mode of payment selected was card. Upon reaching destination the driver started asking cash which was almost 1070 inr. When i told him that payment is to be done by card he started shiiting in his native language as he didnt understand english or hindi and since i dont know kannad his native language the only solution i had was to pay him in cash. Next i find out that uber is reflecting the amount as a part of outstanding amount. Upon contacting uber they replied it was my responsobility to ensure that the selected mode of payment is followed. I mean what can anyone do in this situation either uber should ensure driver know english before making them part of the uber system. Anyway i called the driver and he confirmed taking cash.

                  Worse the corresponding emails were just repetation of the same statements which made it clear that they were using some template and not even reading the complaint. This is the worse service o[censored]ber. I have used uber all over world and uber india service is pathetic. Its almost like asking for charity and promoting corruption.in a country where honurable prime minister is taliking against corrultion these reputed company are promoting not by their fault but because of the drivers like dhanajay and support peoe like bhawna gurnani, deepak garg, mukul, sudheer, and anand singh chauhan. Only thing u er if you want to maintain good service dont hire cab partners and support people whom i mentioned above.

                      Yesterday i booked a cab for the destination of dum dum cantonment railway stattion with a fare of rs. 129/-, but during the journey we both (Me and cab driver) found the gps navigation in driver's mobile was wrong and he noticed me accordingly. I told him that my journey destination is dum dum cantonment railway station, where he dropped me with a fare of rs. 171.70/-. Now tell me the reason behind this. As a customer i faced this kind of situations in past. The cab driver acknowledged the mistakes o[censored]ber, when they dropped me at my scheduled destinations. Do you think i will pay extra every time for your mistakes.

                      Now i am instructing you to pay the differences immediately.

                          It's a bright saturday afternoon. I have a half day off work and i decide to head home. I book an uber cab and the driver arrives within 5 mins. Which was surprisingly fast. He didn't even call to ask for directions and made use of the technology at his disposal. Which was good, for a change.

                          I board the cab and the driver has hardly driven for 500metres and the driver stops mid way, to the left and starts chatting with 2 people who have arrived on a bike and have stopped in front o[censored]s. The driver says he has personal work. I either could wait for him to finish or find another cab. If this is how uber functions i shall use other cab services from now on. Extremely unprofessional behaviour. It's not as if you're giving me free rides. Even after paying for a ride, uber fails to deliver.

                          I'm not surprised that a lot of people prefer ola cabs who charge more than uber. I now know that at least ola provides decent service after charging a fortune.

                            Today i took a ride at kolkata. My registered mobile no [protected]. My payment method was from paytm. Myself & my father was going. Due to some work i had to get down on the way. But at the end of the trip the driver asked for the cash payment from my father, though he informed that it is supposed to paid from paytm. But driver threatened my father to make the cash payment, so as a aged person he was made the payment. Now i made the complaint to uber through app, but your customer care executive informed me that refund is not possible. I'm not ready to accept this type of cheating.

                              I have booked uber pool from jntu hyderabad to icici bank, raheja it park, mindspace, madhapur.
                              Due to some gps issue it showed the destination location to icici bank mindspace, kavuri hills, madhapur. Driver dropped me at kavuri hills and said this is your destination location. I shocked and showed the destination location in my mobile to driver. Driver cofirmed it's gps problem then he called to customer care executive. The customer care executive said drop the person at gps showed location without even confirming from me either the booking details what the destination customer booked and what gps showed. Executive didn't even listing what driver and myself trying to explain the situation. Executive is not at all tried to solve the problem. If gps is showing the wrong location how it will be my issue, and dropping a customer in wrong address is correct. Is this right way. Even in uber app i explained the situation and asked them to rectify the gps issue. I haven't received any response for 48 hours.
                              More over there is no customer care number to reach uber. We have to message them in app.in such a big country how uber is providing services to customers without customer care service. How people should reach uber for emergency cases. It looks uber service is not giving any priority to customer in critical situations.

                                Your gps systems seem to be rigged as the route that the drivers follow are longer and absolutely ridiculous. This is especially the case when i'm travelling out of my residence on wodehouse road towards marine drive. Uber gps guides the drivers via colaba causeway which is not only longer but much more congested. I have tested doing this route from google maps and it never directs me via the causeway! Moreover most of your drivers are clearly not from the city! And not even proficient in driving! Kindly look into matter and correct it or i will have to take a legal route.

                                  This has reference to my earlier complaint lodged on 01.10.2017 through your site against uber india driver (Shahid ashraf), detailing the fact and figures of the incident but the uber administration did ignore my complaint and indulged the unethical dishonest driver go unpunished and as such i think this type of attitude of the cab operator will be their prerogative as they know that no step will be taken on whatever misbehaviour or language they use.

                                  It is really surprising that after repeated complaints through your portal UBER India did not pay any heed to your Forum by sheer ignoring the facts and by the way indulging and encouraging the miscreants having insulting a customer. Hats off to them for their audacity. However, I will wait for their action and then move to the State Consumer Forum.
                                  On 30 Sep 2017, traveled from Kaggadasapura to Kempegowda Sevashrama Railway Station Bengaluru. The rate indicated by Uber was approximately Rs.300 +, however I was charged with Surge of 1.7 which was never indicated during the booking.

                                    After waiting for 20 minutes, and inr 174 charged by the driver (The estimated fare to my destination was 426, i had to finally call another uber at the same origin as earlier. This should have automatically raised a red flag. Instead uber is not even responding.

                                    After waiting for 20 minutes, and INR 174 charged by the driver (the estimated fare to my destination was 426, I had to finally call another Uber at the same origin as earlier. Given the same point of origin was on the next Uber trip (same id) within 20 mins, an automatically generated red flag should have come up. Further, both the origin and the destination show up to be T3 airport and the T3 arrival road.

                                    Yet, Uber is not even responding.

                                      Following is my complain
                                      Sir, without giving any consideration to my presentation the one and same negative reply is being sent by you. This is unfair and cannot be permissible in fare practice of business. If any language problem is there, feel free to talk with me in hindi or gujarati also to understand the issue. You may also take help of your seniors if you found incompetent to deal, but kindly look into matter and give appropriate and correct consideration of my presentation and reply me for my each of the point. For shake of ready reference i describe the presentation again at the cost of repetition as under. "kindly see my complain properly. When i booked the trip which was as 'pool with only one seat for me' as i was travelling alone. When i booked, i was promised by the company to take rs. 58.08 as fare for my travel. I settled the account with driver to his satisfaction. Now against that, company subsequently, raises bill of rs. 234.84 which is four times the 'fare committed by company itself at the time of i booked the trip' as such, i agreed with the fare of r's 58.08 for my trip which was offered by company itself and i took service with that payment terms. Thus my agreement with company to pay that much amount. Even though i settled with driver to his satisfaction, company now says that rs. 88.42 is still outstanding. Thus as per your account also, i paid rs 146. 42 (234.84- 88.42) that is rs. 91 more than our agreed sum of rs. 58.08. When i booked as uber - pool, at that time ubergo was being offered at rs. 78 for this trip. Now web page pertaining to uberpool states that if you opt for uber-pool, the fare is 40 percent less compared o uber go. It further states that,"you will see the pricing upfront before requesting and that's all you need to pay. Pretty good deal, right? "thus, sir, our deal was for rs. 58.08 as fare for this trip. Moreover, as per deal drafted by your company only, i need to pay only rs, 58.08. And i have already paid to the full satisfaction of your driver i. E. As per your own accounting rs. 146.42 against rs. 58.08. Thus, now how company is still claiming that rs. 88.42 is outstanding upon me? Kindly do needful very urgently or alternatively please inform me whom to contact to avail right consideration and judicious resolution of the unwarranted issue created from your company may be due to mistake on your side.                                       The reply received by the company is vogue. I tried many a times. But getting same reply without any supporting explanation.
                                      Please take matter with the company as the company is not giving any detail of senior person so that i can contact him.

                                        Whenever i take a trip from chromepet to kandanchavadi, toll is levied twice. But as per toll rules only one toll is applicable as thy are entry and exit points for same route. Even customer care is not understanding this and providing same reply irrespective o[censored]nderstanding the issue. Such poor customer care service which always provides irrelevant reply annoying the customer.
