I booked an uber as on 03 oct from new delhi railway station to army hospital, dhaulakuan. I was carrying a luggage with me which driver refuse to take as he was not having any space in car. Later he cancelled the trip. Now uber is showing rs 42 i have to pay. Now my question is how uber has such car which don't have space for a luggage? And how uber can charge me when i didn't cancelled the trip?

    Hi,
    I am a frequent customer o[censored]ber. I am greatful that uber had resolved my previous issue efficiently. However, again i have faced an issue and thats the reason am here.
    On 25/09/2017 i had booked uber go to travel from my home to sealdah station. The amount was rs. 325.99. I had given the driver rs 500. However, he returned rs 150. Upon confronting he disagreed and didnt return back rs 25.
    I would request team uber to look into the matter and refund the amount.

      I have book a ride with uber in hyderabad and called the driver about the arrival time near to me, he said 15 min but after 10 the driver has cancelled the ride and it is also showing in the app that driver has cancelled the ride. But some amount money is deducted from my account in next ride as cancellation fee. With this issue i talked with the customer care, they said that driver came near to your location and not accepted the ridebut no person call to my number and i also asked them to track my call recording, but they are not replying me.

        The driver was too rude, didn't follow the directions we asked him to go in n argued about paying less and took more money than what was the actual fare amount, cab number : 0020, he was cribbing about the company and expecting us not to b upset about the fare even if it is high, we paid more the fare was coz he said he would not drop as at the desired location though it was an uber go and not a shared cab, i felt humiliated by his behaviour and this was my worst cab ride ever, it was like the driver was paying me and not me paying the driver

          I sujit ghosh r/o fg-i/ 27c vikas puri intentend to book uber taxi at the ramakrishna mission new delhi gate dated 27/9/17 10:30 am. However, your driver not at all reached the spot. Instead he is asking me to come at his location. I request him by several calls to come at my location. He turned down my request. I waited for 10 mineuits and i am forced to cancelled the trip. This rs 42 charg should not imposed to me instead to the driver.

            On 28-18-17 i travelled from sus road to station on a pooling. I was the first person to be dropped. Though i selected credit card payment by mistake i paid cash. Before the driver leave from the drop point i realised it and ask for the refund to the driver. He said generally for the pool drops cash is paid. Even otherwise i will get the refund. Saying so he left the site. Though immediately had reported this to uber i was charged through the credit card also.

            In spite of repeated complaint my money have not been returned back

            However i received a message the issue is shorted out.

            Without a refund how can it be resolved?

              Please be informed that uber has been charging rs 300+ for a distance of just 2-4 kms. During peak hours, a ride to railway station would cost more that the actual fare for the train.

              I would urge authority to look into this and cancel their license in hyderabad for good 6+ months. Hopefully they would improve the quality of their service to consumers. Same was done with ola once and now their quality of service has drastically changed.

                Today i booked a cab uber pool) from tilak nagar to upsc lane new delhi (Around 8.27 a. M.). I was matched with a rider visited bharat nagar. Means i had cover the almost double distance. Further yesterday i rode the uber-pool. From upsc lane to tilak nagar (Ar 06.38 p. M.) my co-passenger traveled more distance than me (From nizammudin to sagar pur) was charged rs 99/- whereas i was charged rs276.58 almost triple. I could not understand the ctitaria for charges.

                I wish to further add that just after submitting the complaint I received a phone from no [protected] claiming to be your representative and ask my bank details for refunding the overcharged amount. I told him to refund me at my paytm account from where I made the payment. he spoke rudely that it is not possible and insisted for my bank details. I repeat his behavior was very rude. According to my version he was fraud and falsely claimed your representative. Please confirm or otherwise weather he was your representative

                  I kothapalli latha bearing mobile number [protected] from visakhapatnam of andhra pradesh submit that on 21.09.2017 at 05.48 am i booked a uber go ride from my home that is 50-42-24, tpt colony seetammadhara visakhapatnam to waltair station approach road visakhaptnam which is visakhapatnam railway station. Which is a distrance of 3 km. And charged with rs.525/- (Five hundered and twenty five only). Due to dussarah i am unable to send you a mail. Hence i request to please rectify the problem which is usually charged with rs. 75 to rs. 100. But charged 5 times more. Hence please rectify the problem and pay the balance amount to me. I am sending this mail form my husbands mail id please do justice to me. Otherwise i will file a complaint in consumer court.

                    Today (03.10.17) i had booked a cab to tambaram railway station from sholingnallur. There was a delay of 30minutes in picking me up. The driver also did not pick up his calls. Because of that we had to miss our train to madurai. Since he did not turn up on time i had to book ola which was cancelled by me because the driver (Annadurai:tata indica) came by that time. All together i had a loss of rs.395.35/- all together. Even in earlier instances, i had faced late pick up issues with uber drivers. The drivers usually pick up the ride which is far from our pick up point, thus experiencing a late pickup. Please refund the amount to me. My mobile no: [protected] name:biji ravindran. I had paid rs.120.35 for this trip. Other costs (Train ticket:rs.225 and ola cancellation:rs.50)

                    After booking uber driver not taking call and neither has come to pickup point, then what is use of having such service .
                    I am also faced same situation in hyderabad. I have booked a uber pool to go railway station, but he wait 20 min for co-passenger. As we requested him that we have less time it already 20 min, please cancel the ride. He said that the max time to wait is 30 min. Finally we miss the train.I had a loss of 420 rupees of train ticket. Now no one is taking responsible, even not replying to my question.

                      Dear uber,

                      I booked a cab on[protected]From gurgaon to ghitorni). The first driver refused to go to my destination and forwarded the request to second one which again forwarded the request to third one without informing me and finally the fourth driver took me to my destination. All this request forwarding process wasted my 40 minutes.

                      And on 01-10-17 also... It happened the same from ghitorni to sarojini nagar market. I booked a cab and driver said that i should cancel it and book a nearby cab, then he started moving to the opposite direction. He stopped receiving my phone and after wasting my 20 minutes he forward the request to other driver which came immediately. Attaching you the screenshot of today's irresponsible and ridiculous driver.

                        I had pre-booked my uber for the hyderabad airport from miyapur. The cab came in almost 30 mins late inspite of pre-booking. It was raining that day do i'm gonna let this go.

                        But my real complaint is this. Uber showed that the surge price is applicable for my trip and the fare may be slightly higher because of the same. I take it that 'slightly higher' should not mean almost double. I wasn't able to see the actual fare. The fare turned out to be almost double of the regular fare. Uber should provide the surge fare of pre-booked service and not keep the customer in dark.

                          From last month my driver is is block by uber office and when iam reach uber office to know why my i'd is blocked the nobody is know why the i'd is block. And last moment they ask u didn't take training. So without training how i drive the car 4-5 days. Iam also try to reach uber customer care so they ask me different story about this problem.

                          Pls take any suggestions.

                            0n 2nd oct i booked an uber... It was showing 11 min waiting for the cab to be arrived... I called the driver to let him know the exact location... But instead of coming to my address... He didnt come and the waiting time exceeded to 35 min... I called him again and again but he didnt pick the call.. I was getting already late and i cancled it... And booked another from another phn...
                            Do make aware your drivers for next time... I work for an media firm and i dnt want to highlight it...in future if i book a cab i will not pay a single penny for this cab charge.. Make it in return @uber...

                              Hi,
                              I am getting good uber promo codes through sms on my mobile. But whenever i try to use them out shows invalid code. When i contacted uber customer care they said my account was flagged due to some issue and i will never be able to use any promotional codes ever. I am pretty sure i haven't done anything that could have led to this. I have been a loyal customer o[censored]ber and have been using their services for last 2-3 years regularly. This is just cheap tactics they are using to attract customers and then not allowing them to use promo codes. I am not getting any satisfactory reply from their customer care. Also if they really banned my account then why are they sending personalized promo codes to me?
                              Please help.

                                On 1st oct i have booked a cab paid through debitcard but ride not booked but amt debited from my ac den i tried through cash ride booked i paid cash to driver but till now i didn't get the refund. Then also it is saying to pay last ride bill. The app is showing to pay the last bill first then it will provide me next ride, but for what should i pay the ride which i did not get?                                     I have taken a trip on 1st october, from airport to home. When i got dropped off the driver demanded that it is not a non cash trip and i need to make payment.
                                    When i i did the payment and came back to home, the uber app still says that i need to make the payment.
                                    I kept telling them that i made the payment already but uber said it is not responsible. I gave them the name and number of the driver. But still uber is not willing to talk to the driver.
                                    They keep sending the preformatted email saying that "they made one time exception already" (Did not say when) and they "explained me the process" (Also did not mention when) and money can not be refunded.
                                    I told them that i can get the driver admit that he has taken the money.

                                      On 22sep. At night uber driver stolen my phone. My phone battery died and i wants to pay by paytm for my ride so i tald driver to take my phone in charge he said he put in charge but he forced me to go atm and said that go atm try to get cash if its not possible than came back and pay him by paytm. So i go to the atm and ru. Out with my phone and go away with car. However i found the atm cctv cam footage and than next day i call him and he said he don't know that my phone is in chagre. And he put my phone in charge with his own hand he said he already have a 2 phones than why wants other one. Than why run awy without payment and why he can't came back for pending pyment. I send you the details in photo chack it i send one copy of this mail to the police just for a safe side. Check it.

                                        We booked cab in hyderabad and asked him tp open dikki to put luggage. He didn't even assist us in opening or putting luggage. We ourselves did and closed the dikki. Then that back window glass has collapsed and even hurted my hand. The driver started putting blame on saying because of heavy luggage it happened. But opened there was not much luggage. Then again he said because of closing improperly it happened. Since that happened in heavy rush area, people who witnessed whole incident started supporting us. One who sees the window can easily make out that it was already in a broken state. But he created so much problem by shouting and all and trying snatch our luggage bags. Didn't allow us to leave because of which we were not able to get our bus to catch. Even now he is calling to my number.
