Hi,
I placed the request for a uber trip via app on 19th sept 2017, from bangalore airport to zuri whitefield.
While placing the request on uber it displayed 807/- and also got an sms stating no need to pay "toll" its included in the fare.
1) driver insisted on paying toll, i was forced to pay 125/-
2) once i received the destination, the driver displayed the app with an amount of 1567/-, i was surprised to see the amount, which is double the actual amount of 807/- promised at the start of the trip.
3) the driver insisted on paying the amount shown on the app. I cannot argue, as i dont have a means to call uber support, thanks to the money saving idea o[censored]ber of not keeping a customer care call center.
4) went back to the app, surprised to see that this particular trip is listed as cancelled trip with a fare of 0, and the initial amount of 807/- listed below.
5) i requested for an explanation from uber, n number of messages in uber app, standard reply, you are not supposed to pay more than 807/-.
6) then i asked how come it displayed 1567/- in the drivers app?
7) provide the bill or pdf for 807/- then? Uber has no reply.. They are sending me the cancelled trip report of "0" rupees..
8) they are not ready to give an explanation or refund a single penny.
* uber doesnt even bother to call the customer. They are running away.. I was using uber for many years now.. But i wont use it any more.. Thanks to their great service..
