I would like to lodge a complaint against uber.
They've forgotten the fact that they're a tertiary sector cab service that runs thanks to people like us.
This incident happened in indiranagar metro station, where i booked my cab, it was a toyota etios driven by this driver named ikbmal rekha. The driver was in a place called victoria layout, around 3 kms away from my location. Suddenly the app shows he was on my location. I looked around and even tried to call him twice on the number provided, but the phone was switched off. Then he cancels my trip and i've been charged ₹ 42 for cancellation?
This is the second time it happened. The first time i was standing outside jw marriott, which is a prominent location in bangalore, my driver first was a localities, and let's face it, he was not willing to understand hindi. Then one of my colleagues spoke to him. He said he was on his way, and he cancelled. I had to pay ₹42 to the next can that i booked. I thought it was a one time mistake. But the same thing happened today.
Why is it that their driver-partner can give us a bad ratingdue to their biasedness towards people like us? I mean can you not just be human and give me 5 stars like we do. Why is it that anything happens, i'm the one facing trouble for no apparent reason?
I would like uber to apologize and return my money.
