I had booked an uberx today from account by the name of deepak pathare. The trip was scheduled from nalasopara (West) to lilavati hospital. Drivers name was phoolchand mishra (The driver was not the same as shown in the uber app, his name was sunil mishra). The ride started at around 03:30 from nalasopara and ended at around 05:30 at lilavati hospital. At the time of booking the total fare of the ride was showing 1108 rs. But when the trip was ended the fare on the drivers system was showing 1446 rs.
I was asking the driver about the same problem but he kept us engaged by saying something regarding uber and pushed the "collected cash" button on his system because of which the amount of 1108 which was showing on our system was also replaced by the amount of 1446 rs amount. Even if i book the same ride now also i get a fare around[protected], then why that extra 338 rs were added to my fare.
Throughout the journey the driver took the car offroute for refueling. Also the traffic was moderate, we merely spent 15-20 mins (30 min max) in the traffic. I was unaware of the fare, i thought bcz of traffic uber must have added that extra money, though i felt something fishy as that driver hurried to press cash collected button, still i pressed 4 star review (I shud have given 0 rating). I usually ride with uber but this was the first time i faced such a problem!! Worst uber experience till now. It would be helpful if i get that extra paid money as a refund & i request uber to take appropriate action against that driver. I dont have the details of his car since my father havent added his mail id on uber app. I expect a call from uber.
I hope you will draw your needful attention towards this problem as soon as possible.

    We hired uber cab in jaipur and we reached the destination, driver demanded 4 times more than actual price which we get initially at the time of ride booking and on asking he didnot agree to talk to uber executive and started snatching our phone and started verbal abusing. His name is suresh and he is from sikar, rajasthan. Please take necessary actions against him.

      On sunday 20th august current i took two rides on uber taxi. I was charged rs 10 extra in one trip and rs 40 extra on the second over and above the upfront fare shown on the webpage before i boarded the cab. I claimed for refund but they flatly refused saying their system is perfect & i have been charged correctly.
      They also sent me a promocode save500 on 19/8/17 but it was not activated on my account. When i demanded why, i was told my a/c is not entitled for the promocode. Thus they are fooling the riders. There is no transparency in their dealings. My email id is [protected]@yahoo.co.in

        I am complaining against uber. I was shown an amount before calling for the car.. Rs 104. I did not change my destination. Yet on reaching the driver asked me to pay rs 187 with no explanation. I found no details of this payment in my app. No charges showing in the app. I complained though uber app and asked for a refund.. But i have not got any call or revert or refund even after 48 hours. Uber has no customer care number in india. There is no update on my complaint in the app. Plz help resolve this issue.

          After completion of the trip, the amount worth rs 186 was deducted from my paytm account as well as the uber driver took the cash worth rs 170 from my friend. My friend was travelling in the uber, i booked for her.
          This is so unprofessional behaviour. I need my amount back. Driver's name is abhishek.

          Even though the driver knew the amount has been received by paytm, he asked for cash from my friend. As my friend was unaware about this, she gave the cash worth rs 170 to the uber driver.

            Yestersay on 22/8/17 i took a ride from owaisi hospital to abids big bazaar and the original fare was 83.51 rupees but at the time of drop off the fare increased to 190.89 rupees as you can see in below screen shots, i paid a total of 131 rupees by cash and 59 rupees were deducted from. My wallet but they have now changed my fare to 131 from190.89 and they have refunded me only 58 rupees but not my old credits which they also deducted, tgis has been happening quite a times two different fare story and its a fraud that they have changed the fare only on my compalint from190.89to 131 despite the fact that it accounts for only the cash which i paid, but they have deducted my credits tooo and displaying a wrong fare as 131 which is a complete fraud to cheating my credits at the top of second screen shot u can see the fare as 190.89 but down they have changed to 131 rupees but i paid a total of 190.89 rupees it a total fraud case

              Today at around 8pm i booked uber from nenapirali editing to home. Driver satish made me to wait for 10 minutes and he cancelled the trip immediately from your desk i received msg to book another can. Which i did and came back home. Meanwhile i received a message that i have to pay 52.50 extra. For what? Why you people are taxing me for no fault of mine. You better ask the driver why he cancelled?? Again the new driver asked me extra which i refused to pay. I am upset with uber and soon will shift to ola.

                We had travelled in uber pool from the opposite of our location we booked and were dropped against the wish o[censored]s i. E the drop location was after the residence. My house is in gi block of sarojini nagarwhich comes just before lane g. Due to mapping o[censored]ber, the residents of gi block are compelled to board from g lane or school. No.3 of g lane.. While drop werequest the driver to drop before the lane comes as it is nearer too. But to our shock the driver was talking in an idiotic manner and was inclined to trouble us by not listening at all. He was very hot headed and there was no other passenger except another female friend of mine. We told him aboutr complaining to your organisation reg his misbehaviour but he was damn cared about this..

                It is therefore requested to llook into the matter and redress the complaint and intimation may be sent in this regard at the most earliest.

                  Uber cab charged more money.

                  I have booked uber cab from kausambi metro station to noida sector - 62. Uttar pradesh area only within 8 km. They charge toll tax twice which are not applicable my ride. My booking ride rs-73. But uber charged rs - 300 after completion of ride. I complaint to uber application but no reply till now.

                    I booked uber pool from the sheikh sarai phase 1 pocket c to infinity tower gurgaon on 22nd august 2017 at 8.05 am. Fare was shown rs 179/
                    I was dropped at infinity tower gurgaon at 9.30 am. However receipt shows drop at haus khas at 10.13 am and fare deducted from my paytm wallet rs 763/ instead of rs 179/. I have not travelled beyond infinity tower gurgaon. I attended my office from 9.30 am onwards please check and arrange to refund the amount of rs 584/ wrongly charged (On account of non closure of trip by driver).

                      I booked a cab on 22 august at 3:52 pm from gulzari gali subhash market kotla mubarak pur to nehru nagar lajpat nagar.
                      The fare was ₹58 while the driver took ₹108. As a proof i have attached the receipt .
                      I want to submit a complaint on the driver and want the rest cash back at the earliest.

                        I travelled in uberpool on 17-aug-2017 night around 9:00 pm in chennai. I was listening to songs on my phone, just before getting down i kept in bag and while getting down the phone dropped from my bag i guess... Within half an hour i realized my phone was missing. Immidiately called uber customer care, then i come to know there is no direct customer care for uber in india. It's just automatic machine which calls your last ride through which we can not even trace drivers number. Tried several times driver did not take the call finally picks the call and starts shouting without any concern of helping me. He said you take uberpool and then loose your phone and expect to get it back there is nothing in my cab (Without even checking it ones), he says i have some drops and its raining i cant get out and check... On repeatedely requesting driver agrees to give phone to the passenger sitting at back seat whom i requested to check if any phone is there she said there isn't any phone. After that again spoke to driver, he started shouting again so rudely "i dropped 3-4 people after that someone would have taken, how do u expect to get your phone back" even requested to share details of rides taken after me, but he denied saying its not possible. I lost my new phone honor 6x grey color model. Went to police station thought atleast would get some help but there also i got an answer like"you don't have driver details, his number, his cab details tell us i[censored] were a police how would you find him" on requesting to track my mobile through imei no., i come to know that until or unless it is a cyber crime imei no. Can not be used to track a phone, sorry we can't help you they said, just call customer care and find out. I tried every possible way to track my phone but could not.

                        Now do i take it like... Once you loose phone in india, please loose all your hopes of getting back... Specially in uber cab as there is no direct customer care in india to help u out... Feeling very disappointed, as i knew exactly where i missed my phone but still cant find it... Someone if knows do share some ways to track phone.

                          The car attached with you bearing no dl1arta2834 was driven by the driver in a zig zag manner ad was chewing the tabbacco. On the high way he opened the door to spit the chewing tobacco without looking back that any vehicle is coming to the back although we were very alert and due to the alertness no mishapping took place. We told the driver about his unprofessional driving, the driver instead of regret started blaming us. I can logde a complaint with the local police but waiting for first your response.

                              I am a regular user o[censored]ber. Today i booked the cab in the morning and the cab drive has canceled the trip. Again i tried booking through the mobile app but it shows error that it my account doesn't have a proper payment method. But i have a valid payment method and through that payment mode only charges has been taken whenever i opt for cab but today it still showing the same error message.

                              I tried reaching their customer care toll free number but no one picks the call and always its engaged and there is no support email address where we can address our issues. I don't know what type of support they are running without having a proper customer care.

                              I need this issue to be fixed so that i can enjoy their service continuously.

                                I have got an offer of 50% off (Maximum 50) in 10 rides from 21 - 28 august. I applied the coupon and it was showing the promo code is applied successfully. On 21st night i took ride from newtown to howrah. When the cab got booked the actual price (Without discount) was 303 rupess. After i reched the drop location the amount i have to pay was approx 480. When i saw the receipt it was showing distance surchage 96.32. The the coupon of 50 off was also not included in the receipt.
                                On the very next day, on 22 morning the same thing happened. I took another ride of rs98. The promo code was already applied however i didn't get the discount.
                                Please look into the issue as i am unable to get discounted price.

                                  Today morning 21/08, i choose Uber share from my place 9/840 Vasundhara, ghaziabad to vaishali metro station. The upfront charge showed as Rs 49.
                                  I boarded the cab and left the cab exactly at my selected drop location which was vaishali metro and there was no changes made during the trip. After the trip i was charged Rs 365 instead of Rs 49.

                                  I contacted their customer care team and they are saying i did not take the drop at the selected drop location which is false. I have suggested them to contact the Uber driver but they are not ready to cooperate.

After the trip I was charged Rs 365 instead of Rs 99. I did not change my drop location during the trip. Also, the mail that I received with the trip fare after trip completion showed the total distance traveled of 22 km, which is insane, because the distance traveled was only 8 km. I want the amount overcharged to be refunded to my account as soon as possible. I raised this issue on Uber app but I haven't received any response yet. Seems like Uber is keen on cheating and looting people off their money.

                                    There are multiple issues.
                                    1. Charging me the amount of my previous trip (Which i had paid already) on my subsequent trips. I have paid the amount twice and still the next time i try to book a cab, it prompts me for payment! Such a poor software.
                                    2. Showing different trip amounts in my mobile and the driver's device. What logic is this? I had to pay the extra amount displayed on the drivers device. Whatever promo n stuff was offered had failed.

                                    I need the incorrect amount drawn from me to be credited back.

                                      Today i booked a cab the driver did not arrive in time he even diaconnected my cal when i called and said i have a customer to drop. He showed the trip complete even when he didn't even come to pick me.. Why should i pay for the trip if i haven't even taken it.. Please check this issue this is not at all acceptable.. My account is showing money due now.. I won't be paying for this trip.. It was a toyota etios driver srinivas

                                        I had an uber rider account in india and used them for long. Over a period of time there were uber credits that has accumulated in my account in indian rupees. Then i happened to travel to australia for a business trip and wanted to update my local number. They do not allow users to update an international number themselves and so i wrote to their customer care. They updated my australia number and incidentally there were charges that they had to reverse and provided my uber credits in aud. When i returned to india and wanted to have my india number updated on my account, i was told there are two accounts under same email and so i cannot update my india number. After much deliberation, they deleted one of the accounts and updated my india number. This account showed only aud uber credits and i could not use them in india. When i raised an issue about this they kept beating around the bush and dilly dallying to make corrections and restore my inr credit. Now they have agreed to refund aud credit, but are not restoring inr credit. They have also stopped responding to my inquiries and there is no escalation channel available.

                                        Eventhough i had paid the fare charge, showing an outstanding balance of Rs.250 in my Uber account, why should i pay the pending balance if i haven't used the service.
