I am a regular uber customer and nowadays i am getting promo offers like 25% off 50% off and all but when i apply the promo coupons and when i am riding with uber the rate comes the same if its 25% of or 50% off or if it doesnt contain any promos then also the amount is the same... This is not a decent approach by a reputed company like uber... If you are offering discounts then that should be seen in the fare... Please dont cheat your customers like this... And also wen we cancel the rides you dont show any cancelation charges but the next ride will always be 50rs more and when i apply for refund also they say no cancelation charged this is not a pdoffesional approac from such a good company... We are loosing the loyalty... Sorry to say... Uber is becoming worst day by day

    I had booked an uber cab yesterday morning, that is, on the 15th of august, 2017. I am from jaipur and the area at which i called the cab is an institutional area. The cab came on time but there were two people sitting inside - one was the driver and the other one was his friend. I told the driver that i had booked the cab and we should move, but his friend won't budge. It was not a sharing cab. I asked the driver's friend to get off, but all he said was "ma'am you can sit we'll drop you!" i immediately cancelled my ride. How can a driver on duty treat the customer like this and hang out with who ever he wants to? I'm providing the cab details below. I demand a strict action against this driver.

      I booked an uber pool at 9:21 pm from ina metro stn. Gate no. 2 to rajapuri, uttam nagar east.
      It shows that will be there after 7 minutes.
      We are waiting for cab at the same place but after 10 minutes driver canceled my ride. Again i booked a cab for the same location.
      But cab was waiting at gate no. 3, and did not inform or called me to inform that i am here. After some time i called him he told me that your location shows me for gate no 3 and i will not come you have come here if you want to go. Then i and my friend went there to take the sheets.
      When we reached rajapuri he told me your charge is 189.50 and 42rs due charges.
      I asked him for 42 rupees, he told me i don't know about it. You have to give this money it's all i know. I told that this is not my fault why should i give money to you. He fight me and forced me to pay this money. From last five times they used to do please take it seriously.

        Not getting rides when neaded and it's not fare I had tried after and after this is really not nice and this is not fare u are taking more money in increase of cabs but also it is not coming u should know about it what are u doing and this is not good and we had to come with our realties and I got really ashamed and now I am not going spare you please see this and reacet

          I had booked an uber whose vehicle number is WB 05 3462 driver name is Neeraj. When I booked uber he comes late. Later on when I request him to turn little back suddenly he started abusing me. He used slang languages. I don't understand how uber company has given licence to such a person who doesn't know how to talk with clients. Please take instant action against this person as I will file case in consumer court against uber as I know Uber not the driver.

            During my travel in bangalore the charges were shown as rs 135, however the driver demanded rs 285.00 saying old outstanding balance rs 150 as there was no such balance outstanding you may pls refund the amount.

            This kind of attitude by any service company is unacceptable hence ensure such mistakes are not repeated in future

              Dear sir/mam
              Pls consider this ccomplai... I am the regular customer to uber. When we booked the car[uber] it seems reasonable estimate fair charges, but when we complete our trip the driver would ask fair charges which is too costlier than the estimate fair charges... So pls consider this complaint as soon as possible... This is not the first time. This been 2-3 times...

                UberPoll 10th August 8.29 PM.

                I have asked to customer care for details reason of fare change from 19 to 174. And Details beakdown of both fare. But they not provide that.
                As a regular customer I should expect this details at least.

                My complain was fare change just after few second of trip start.just when new pool request arrive to the driver. And my trip fare change from 19 to 174.

                I have share below conversation with uber customer care.

                I have booked my cab it was showing 19 after few second it is charged to 174 just 9 times. Could you please check and confirm. How it happened. And the person travel with uberpool has pay 19.

                uberPOOL allows you to share your ride and the cost for your trip. This makes your fare fairly cheaper than an uberGO trip.

                The fare quoted in the app while requesting a trip is guaranteed, so you always know the exact cost for your trip. This fare includes tolls, external factors affecting traffic, and surge, if any. The app will confirm the trip only after you have accepted the fare shown to you.

                Please note, the fare displayed at the beginning of the trip holds as long as destination remains unchanged and the suggested route is followed.

                I re-ran the fare estimate for this trip and can confirm that you were charged correctly as per your pick up and drop locations. Fare change in between trip. Just after few seconds of trip start from 19 to 174 this is almost 9 times of orginal fare. I think you also not expect such type of event.                     His is complaint against a UBER driver regarding cancellation of ride on 12th August at 4PM.

                    Driver is so rude and threatened me to cancel the cab from my end for no reason. He accepted the ride and as he is 4km away from my place (with 6 min for arrival to my place) he denied to serve the request and asked me to cancel the ride. As the cancellation initiated from his side I requested him to proceed with cancellation. As I am from different state which he understood from my language he started threatening me about his local power and he asked me to stay at my location threatened me to get into physical spats with his gang. I have disconnected the call but he called me 21times from different numbers. He came to my destination and asked me to come out. I even cancelled my emergency trip yesterday with the fear of physical assault with these kind of goons being hired in Uber. I severely regret for using Uber in our entire organization and I have already informed all my friends and relatives to give minimum rating and uninstall the app. I will lodge a complaint in my office too, to make sure we no more approve uber cabs and get all employees to use another portal for bookings, if no immediate and appropriate action is taken against him. I feel unsafe here with uber drivers and especially with women employees using this cab is a big concern to our organization. Please arrange a immediate call back on my number (+91-[protected]) from Uber support. I am not going to leave this here i[censored]ber doesn't take proper action against the driver. I am going to lodge a police complaint against driver and uber if this is not handled properly by uber.

                    There is no need of raising local/region feelings in this case. I have cancelled my cab many times when driver requested me to do that irrespective of the person who initiated the cancellation. As an IT professional, I will never involve in such disgusting matters and will try to solve things with utmost respect towards anyone. In this case, i followed the same but he started the conversation in a rude manner.
                    This guy is so adamant and threatened me and waited for me to come out. I have informed the same to my security guard and i have taken all the proofs related to the incident. I am ready to submit all the required proofs to take it to next level. If there is no action taken in next 2-3 days, I will file this matter in local police station and consumer forum. I am going to post this on my FB wall stating no action from UBER and explain them how dangerous to take rides with UBER. I do not want anyone else to face the same situation which leads them to mental pressure.

                    I need to understand on how UBER being a such reputed organisation recruits such kind of drivers because of which people loose trust on making bookings with your portal. I also want to understand on what kind of action will be taken against this person. I request you timely update on this else i will escalate this to next level with my organization's help.

                    Driver involved in vulgar spat with me stating that it is his own cab/diesel and neither UBER or my father is paying for him. We trust organization and not drivers and its our money which is feeding them and we are not dependent on UBER.

                    Already 5 members of of close aides have deleted the app and gave minimum rating and this will continue to happen in my organization and will reach in 100s if no proper/immediate action is taken against him.
                    I really expect an immediate call back for quick resolution on this matter.

                    Below are the cab details and mobile numbers from which he called 21 times to threaten me. I still feel unsafe to stay here as he is aware of my location address.

                    I have provided all the details to UBER on first day itself but till today i did not get any response on such serious issue reported. They dont have any customer support numbers, no email id's nothing. i really fed up with the UBER drivers and no action taken against the driver till today.

                    For cancellation of booked cab, company charging from public and when we raise any complaint they are not even looking into the issue.

                    Serious action needed on this for the safety of public. I am cocerned about senior citizens and safety of womens/Girls.

                    HI Team,

                    I have raised complaint a week back, till today no one acknowledged the complaint from UBER and did not receive any call also. There is no communication channel to follow up on my complaint. Please help to escalate this to higher level to take proper action against the driver.

                    Being a reputed company they don't have any customer support centre and no mails accepting from customers. They are doing business with customers but not interested to listen customer complaints. i even did not receive single call from them to know about the incident happend.

                    Requesting you to take this incident with high priority and do the justice.

                      Myself deepika, travelled in uber go on 15th august at 8:24am from watkins lane till newtown rajarhat... My account showed me... It ll be charged rs.252.32. On the arrival the bill came to be rs. 298.18 and i was forced to pay rs. 300 for what purpose i don't know.

                      Plz refund our money which was taken by mistake i guess... Kindly rectify the problem.

                        Myself sucheta, travelled in uber pool on 13th august at 9:50pm from sowcarpet till abirami mega mall... My account showed me... It ll be charged 89.53rs for two passengers in uber pool. On the arrival i paid 142.0rs for what purpose i don't know. It said riders outstanding balance.

                        Plz refund our money which was taken by mistake i guess... Kindly rectify the problem.

                            While in my uber ride which was supposed to be cashless, my driver said that the payment portal was down and I need to pay by cash, to which I agreed and later on found that I was cheated, I complained to uber hoping to get my money back, however they did nothing not even allowing me to contact the driver, this is planned robbery in broad daylight.

                              I booked a ride in uber today at 4.44pm and the driver said he already on another ride. So he will come after 20 mins and took my 3-4 mins on call. After that when i cancelled the ride to book another as i have to catch the train within 30 mins. Uber charged 52 rs as cancellation charge. It was the drivers mistake how he accepted my ride while he was on another ride already. Please solve my issue.

                              I was incorrectly charged for my cancellation. The driver was not at all near my location and he asked me to cancel the ride on 2nd August at 6.30pm

                                I saw d rate for d required destination frm my house n it showed rs336.. N i applied freedom15 code for 50% off. The code was applied. Again wen i chcked immediately the rates r same... R d promos really applied fr uber riders or u r cheating the customers? Each time when i check it is like this... For this nly uber is giving so many offers is it??

                                U r really cheating the customers.. And note nly dat.. Now a days its showing high rates in chennai... I don no abt other states.. But fr chennai uber rates r tooooooo high.. Which makes us note 2 use uber itself... Either improve it or close d company... Because slowly as time progresses uber ll be considered as useless by people... Already half of them stopped using uber nw.. Please take actions seriously

                                I had an outstanding payment from my previous booking and I tried to pay by card, I even entered the otp. And now when I try to book the cab, it says riders account banned. I don't understand this and it's causing me inconvenience. I think I should shift to OLA. If this is not fixed, I will definitely uninstall the app.

                                  Hi My name is Iswarya R i booked a ride on 11- Aug - 2017 19.24pm from Sundar Nagar Ekkatuthangal to Adambakkam. Driver before coming to the pick up point started the ride and didn't reach there for more than 20 mins. Called him many times no response.. So cancelled the trip. But still got mail that i have completed my ride from ambedkar nagar to ashok nagarthough i didnt ride on that and cancelled that too.. please take care of these things.. i really got frustrated on that day as i didnt get cab due to rain.                                     U inr 50 off each of your first 2 uber rides. To confirm use code 'neerajj1532ue'... On my mobile
                                    Number.
                                    I am pained to know that forwarding such message (International message) incurs high costs & it costed
                                    Me inr 60 for sending it to 12 persons.
                                    I am sorry to say that i feel cheated & similarly many more people must be feeling cheated. Even your
                                    Email address mentions uber india but forwarding your message to connect more people to uber is causing
                                    Loss to myself & my fellow countryman & we are inuring cost on advertising/advocating your product.
                                    Hope to listen to an appropriate justification to my grievance.

                                    Today, I had booked uberx to take my patient to hospital. My pickup location was 7A, Bhattacharjee Lara lane. Kolkata 700036 and my destination was RTIICS, Mukundapur. Kolkata. I had looked the approximate fare for scheduling this trip and that was 325 approximate. My uber had taken 614 Rupees from me. May I know why should I pay this extra fare?
                                    I am frequent customer o[censored]ber. I had travelled on 8/8/2017 in uber to kurinji nagar...I have opted for paytm...

                                    By mistake, I forgot the mode of payment and i paid it through cash...
                                    The driver also didnt say anything about it..Also in my paytm, amount got deducted...

                                    Kindly take this into concern, and refund my extra amount paid..
                                    This is to bring to you notice that today at least 5 drivers refused to come to Noida from Delhi. Only after few rejections, uber app denied to book another cab as there were too many cancellations. That is very bad on the user's front. It took me 2 hours to finally get a cab from ola. I will try not to book uber again.

                                      On Saturday early morning, received text message from Uber for issuance of promotional voucher for Rs. 50/- off till next 10 rides.

                                      Called the cab for a destination and the charges was Rs. 78.76/- and the promotional code didn't worked out and showed as invalid or expired.

                                      When inquired the same with Uber through mail, they replied to me very silly answer that the promotional code has been already expired in the month of June-2017.

                                      When inquired them that how can a code can be expired before its date of issuance, than they are not reverting now.

                                      Kindly look into the matter..

                                        Uber overcharges the riders. At the time of booking, it will indicate a fare to the selected destination. When u get down at the destination actual fare is always more and when contact Uber, they simply say your final destination is far away from the destination indicated at the time of booking or you have taken a different route other than that indicated by GPS. Several times, though none of these allegations are correct, Uber has charged excess fare and Uber simply stopped responding. They ar a bunch of cheaters and robbers.

                                        I am book a uber ride with uber app. Driver confirm me he is coming with in 5 min. But after some time he cancel the trip on his behalf without confirming me. This is happening with me twice. Please take serious action against this. After confirming the ride why they cancel on their behalf.
                                        I had booked uberpool at the cost of Rs 62.73 I was charged 154.88.This is not the first I had faced the same problem earlier also . Kindly look into the matter.
