I use uber regularly. As a company that transports people from place to place, safety should be of prome concern. We know how many lives are lost by not having a seatbelt on!! In india we take this very lightly and dont use seatbelts in the back. We also do not have regulations that support it. But uber whose basic job is transporting people, this should be basic hygiene! Some of your care have seatbelts in tge back but most of them do not have the option - either the seatbelt is missing or the locking sytem has been removed or the lock is removed completely!! Many a lives can be saved if you make a guidline for drivers to have seatbelts available for all seats. Whether passengers use it or not is their choice - but this would demostrate that you as a company promote safety!

    Today i booked a uber pool 2 seats for ₹139 however the driver also picked one more passenger and while dropping him to his location there was a huge traffic the route and everything was decided by the driver itself and after reaching my destination the price the charge went from ₹139 to ₹333 this sudden hike in price was without any fault of mine infact i wasted my time in that traffic and top of that paid extra as well. Please look into it.

    I have send an e-mail through Uber app first they stated the charges correct but after explaining they agreed to refund the amount via uber credit

      My wife on her phone [protected] booked ubergo today noon but was made to cancel the ride by the driver as he said he was too far after some time she tried again and it was the same ride that came and that too it was an xl which was good for them as they were 4 adults n 3 children but on getting on the driver refused entry above 4 heads and demanded extra charge so my wife shifted children to another cousins car and they all 4 adults entered this chevrolet tavera kl 07 bz 514 but the driver saji refused to go for the ride and made all 4 of them get off the car and insisted to cancel the ride my wife objected and so he himself cancelled the ride and told them to complaint if they wanted and left. It is their first bad experience from a uber driver and they felt really bad. My wife said he was unpolite disrespectful rude and not at all fit to drive uber. Pls take note.

        Dear sir,
        Wish to bring to your kind attention that today evening at 4.45 pm i have booked uber from venkatesa agraharam, mylapore, chennai 600004 to somasundaram street, gayathri nagar medavakkam chennai 600100, by tata indica (Driver _ mr. Jayson). At the time of booking the tariff rate displyed rs.433/.
        But unfortunately due to unavoidable circumstances i requested the driver to wait for 10 mts on the way to my house. And after reqching my house at the desitination point and when closing for payment i surprised to see the tariff rate as rs.609/- and accordingly i have paid the amount to the driver.
        In this regard i would like have your clarification for this excess tariff and in case of wrong calculation request you to kindly arrange to adjust the excess fare at the time of my next trip booking and oblige.

          Today i have booked uber from amity temple bay to central bellandur (17 km) and it says i will be charged (348-40 = 308 rs) rs for the trip. As the rider was unaware of the route driver took longest route to reach the destination and the bill was 648 rs. Which is way higher than earlier quote (More than double). It is a clear classical case of misleading the customer.

          I have attached both pictures. Bill before and after the journey.

            I've been asking for help on issue that occured on my trip. But to my surprise they have not replied from past one day to my emails and query on the uber app.
            I have notified them twice and thrive but got no reply.
            About two months before i requested them for a issue, that time also the executives at the help support team went on sending me the auto messages again and again. I continued requesting them to read my reply but they never paid attention.
            The same thing they are doing now, they asked for a screenshot i gave it. They are again and again asking the same thing.

            I have attached the images of both the email and the app.
            Dipanshi, sk malviya, abhay, sunita they are all replying the same thing without even reading my request. They all think that the users can't do anything because the users doesn't have a customer care number and the executive on the emails are not even replyiing. To whom we will seek for help.

              I have been riding uber cab for last couple of years and last i rode was on 21st july. Post that whenever i am trying to book uber it says my mobile number linked to account is not valid. Post writing emails to uber they mention my mobile number and my email id is associated with someone else and refused to sort this out. I am really concerned if this is a case of my identity theft.

              Really shocked as i have been regularly using uber for last few years and how this can suddenly happen one fine morning. Would appreciate your help to resolve.

                Uber has deployed a set of vehicles whose drivers either don't have license to travel to the destination or does not have interest to pick up the passengers from its location. As a result the drivers merrily state reasons for not initiating the trip. However, uber as comfortably adapted the principle of charging directly (Through paytm) from the user without even giving the user the scope to express the problem. Is this the new way to make business at the cost of harassing the passengers who don't get to travel on time as well as forced to make payment... Its high time uber should be using correct policies to charge consumers and refund the illegitimate recoveries.

                  Hi all,

                  I have traveled on uber pool today and they have charged excess money which was showed earlier while booking. Fortunately i had taken the screen shot as soon as i booked the cab and but end of the journey they given different bill amount. When i requested uber they are saying nonsense justification that i traveled additional distance. This is the trip i travel regularly with uber to office. Now i am scared to travel with this looting people because i may not have their asking money while dropping.

                  I am not satisfied with their action and they are saying additional distance covered other than I booked. I have traveled from my home to office how generally I travel also I have a book mark for this regular trip.
                  I booked uberxl today..18:42 me with my family boarded from terminal 1airport to go to Vikaspuri..I already had money in my paytym wallet which I completely forgot and got deducted from my paytym already but still driver named prem sked me 480 when I reached my destination..I gave him thinking that I have to give him a cash..uber service has really gone down.Specially the drivers you guys hire.How can you be dishonest with your customers..I paid 587 from paytym wallet and 480 cash given to driver prem.m really scared to sit in uber again in my near future and suggest anyone too..you need to give me my cash back and these kind of driver need to be sacked from your company.

                    My name is ashish from chandigarh and my registered mobile number is *. I am writing this e-mail regarding the unfair activities being done by the uber drivers in last few days. I would like to inform you that the drivers cancel the pickup request after accepting the request. I came to know from one of the drivers that the cancellation is being done just because the drop location is not they preferred location to do so as they will not get pick for their next trip.in both scenario the cab driver cancelled the request. I had to wait for 27 minutes and 19 minutes for next driver to pick up respectively.

                    I would like to understand that why the cab drivers do this such things with the customer. Please look into this matter which is quite serious. If you look my records, i am frequent traveller o[censored]ber. This such kind of servicers is not acceptable from such a big multi billion company. Kindly take my request seriously before i take any legal action against the services.

                    I have attached the screen shots as the proof for both the drivers along with their name, taxi number, date of journey and the preferred location of drop.

                    Kindly have someone to revert on this issue.

                    P. S this is 2 such issues which i have proofs. Otherwise it happened multiple times when my wife booked her cab from her registered mobile number and it is concern on women’s safety as she had to wait for this such scenario

And hence i asked driver to cancel the ride but he didn't do it for long time as i was waiting for it to be done so that i can check of other possibity.. I have already registered my greivances before to nullify the amount charged but still your company is yet to respond.. I expect your team to please verify first with the driver before unnecessary charging to customer this way.. I expect a much speedy response to this greivance registered and in case of any query..                         Hi i booked a cab using uber app bound to my destination of vikaspuri new delhi from mohan garden dwarka. The sub total was rs 148 but i was given a promotional discount of rs 33 and transport fare limit max discount of rs 17 so technically i should be charged rs 99. But this uber driver charged me the entire amount of rs 148. Pls suggest me how to get refund.

                          Hello i am living in uttam nagar and i took uber from dwarka sec.16b and i hired a uber cab so that me and my baby can reach home with comfort. Dl 1rt 4426 wagonr white colour owner name manoj kumar the driver who was driving the car he misbehaved with me when i request him to increase the ac as it was very hot and humid at around 7.30pm dated 2.08.17 he said very rudelly that i will not increase the ac and you could end this ride, as it was very inconvenient for me in the middle of the road with baby without any internet service in my mobile phone to switch into the another cab. Its very difficult to go with these kind of drivers. Give me solution of this misconduct or else i will go to consumer forum for this misbehaviour and misconduct

                            I am chandrashekhar from bangalore. I took a ride today evening at 6.18 pm by uberpool covering a distance of about 7.7 km vide your invoice no. Rullaioq[protected] dt. 4th aug, 2017. Mr. Venkatesha. C. Was the driver.
                            After stopping at the drop location, driver asked me open uber app on my mobile phone. Thinking that he will show me the invoice details, i opened the app. After it got opened he snatched the mobile from me and rated the raid as 5 star without my consent.
                            When i objected, he was very rude in his reply and said it is our choice to rate the trip experience and that i can lodge a compliant with uber.

                            To best of my knowledge, the rating of the trip is assessed by the customer and not by the driver himself. This was a very bad experience and the behavior of the driver is not acceptable.

                            Assure your customers that such unpleasant incident will not repeat and take necessary action on the driver to avert such happening in future.

                              I took a cab on 21st july this year. By mistake i switched to paytm payment method and my paytm account was not on this number. So for that trip i had to pay the cash to the driver.

                              But now when i take another trip, it reflects in my account that i am gonna have to pay the same amount for the next trip in addition to the fair for that trip.

                              I gave the money to the driver, and the driver wasn't at fault either. He was really friendly and helpful.

                              Uber, you are charging me same amount twice.
                              Please, resolve the issue that i am facing.

                              Also you don't even have a contact number where i can call you and ask you to resolve the issue.

                                I booked a cab on sunday i. E 30th july'2017 from dp road, kothrud to westend, aundh.in the app, the amount was shown 189 inr (Approx), but when i reached i had to pay the cancellation amount of the previous cab that i cancelled.

                                The reason the cab was cancelled is the app detected the wrong location inspite of entering the location where i was. So, when i called the driver, he was at different location, and denied to come to my location. I had to cancel.

                                Please process my refund of cancellation which was added in my ride of 30th july'2017.

                                  I had booked uber from my app (Phone no [protected] [protected]@gmail.com) yesterday from parnasree, kolkata to dum dum airport for 523.60 inr, after reaching the destination i was charged 768.95 inr. This is cheating. Now the route was the same as last trips so please don't tell you took a different route. I am a frequent traveller with uber but last evening mental trauma i had to go through was really disgusting. I want a refund of the difference. Pls look into the matter.

                                    When i booked uber pool ride it showed Rs.40 but driver device showed 303.94 so i have paid that amount, this is totaly unacceptable how could be so much difference same fare of 40 i paid in earlier trip, this was a uber pool ride and in between my trip driver also took another rider and drop them to their location this takes lot of time and he was taking route as per his own choice he was following MAP assistance after that he took a different route which is totally different from MAP guidance i asked him several times that you had taken different route than what map shows but he replied that map is wrong most of the time and direct us long route then again i asked him that you are taking this as per your choice i am not liable for that, then when i reached to my destination his device showed 303.94 bill i told him that their is huge difference in the bill i was supposed to pay 40/- why should i pay 263 rupees more to you then he said there is a technical fault in the device you will get the refund after complaint

                                      Hi,
                                      I have been charged twice for the toll which is already included with my fare.

                                      Uber is saying as the payment method is card the user should not pay cash at toll gate. But the driver are so arrogant that he made me to pay the cash.
                                      Now uber is refusing to refund.

                                      This happened twice. I lost 90 rupees.

                                      Not sure if i will file a police complaint for this or not.

                                        Yesterday i took a ride from pottakuzhy to my home st. James rd, vytila in ernakulam.

                                        Due to the stupid system now the route is preselected and the fare charged on that basis even if there is a shorter route.

                                        I was charged for a route which goes to edapally in the oppsosite direction and then driven down to my address although i asked the driver to take a more easy and much shorter route.

                                        It seems uber india is now scamming its customers by pre-selecting longer routes and arbitrarily setting fares and there is no scope to send a complaint as they have removed the their email and the riders have no choice but to use the so called help in their app which is a bigger rip off as there is no way to complain about uder's practices. I was using uber for all my needs but have now purchased a car in this already overcrowded city to avoid being scammed by uber india.
