Hi team,
Uber has cheated me collecting 255 rs where actual receipt prices was 164.

When i had asked about high fee, they said i earlier cancelled 2 trips and cancellation amount 36 and 50 rs. But, these two fees were already collected in jun trips itself only.

But, when i had one more trip on july 28th. They again charged that cancellations fee. But, i have not cancelled any other trip other those 2 trips.

I need justice.

    I have proofs that people have some kind of codes or they might have any kind of special access using which they get free rides o[censored]ber. They sell out these free uber pool rides at low price like rs. 10 to people. The codes i am talking about is not the codes given by uber for promotion.

    These people have codes since the start o[censored]ber in delhi. They have earned lacs of money through selling these rides and uber have lost millions due to it.

    Being a well-wisher and uber service user, i am writting this. Please connect with me for proofs and more clarification. If i am not going to get any response to this complaint. Then, i would rather write about it on twitter. So as it can reach to maximum people and the right authorities.

      On 25th july'17, i took an uber share to east of kailash. The person i was sharing my cab with was already seated and was to be near the jawaharlal nehru stadium. I was picked up from kishangarh. So logically, although he was sitting before me, east of kailash comes before jnu so i should have been dropped before him on the way. The driver infact tried to communicate the same to the customer care as it did not make sense for him to go 6kms and come back 6kms but he was asked to 'follow the navigation only' by the customer care. Instead of wasting so much of my time i decided to get off at south ex and then book an ola which just cost me as much as an uber go in the first place. It took me 1 hour 45 mins from kishangarh to east of kailash that too when i took a cab when there is not much traffic. I would request you to please figure this out as this is going to refrain me from using an uber.

        I have booked a uber cab from laxmi nagar, kothapeta to lb nagar orange hospitals at 13.12 hrs on 28.07.17 & supposed to arrive in 2 mts. I have waited until 13.30 hrs. I called the driver balaji but his cell was switched off. I had to cancel the trip. I have been charged rs. 52.50 for cancellation.

        Please arrange to waive the cancellation charges.

          Whom ever it may concern

          I, the undersigned was charged rs.63 on[protected] for a uber ride that i had booked. I regretfully state that the driver had failed to reach the point of pick up even after 10 mins of delay and after repeated calls to him.

          I had to wait for him during that time and after failing to understand why he hadn't turned up at the pick location, i had to avail other means of communication.

          This is highly irresponsible o[censored]ber india to bill their customers on account of default by uber drivers. I request you to look into the matter and kindly provide appropriate redressal for the same.

            I hired uber cab today from pimple saudagar pune to salisbury park. The actual fare was 402 but i was charged 466 rs. For some cancellation which i m not aware. Even previously we had a problem with uber. This is absolutely not done. Already we are paying higher charges and then we are asked to pay extra irrelevant charges. And why should we pay for cancellation. We cancel only whn the cab fails to arrive at the right time. Please give your explanation immediately on this.

              I had made ride on July 4 evening from nungabakkam, chennai to padur, chennai dropped at 8:30 pm.

              During booking I had selected card payment and while drop I had paid through cash.

              Also I had consulted with driver before I pay cash and he has revert the pay but they amount is outstanding and can't ride further asking for due payment.

              Hence I can't able to ride further. Early you resolve then early I can use uber orelese I won't pay and use again

              Could you resolve this issue by cancelling the outstanding amount.

                Yesterday dated[protected], i have book uber mh04-gd8264 from kharigaon to kalyan. Started driver has confirmed that he is ready and my family were waited on pick up point. When we are called to uber driver vijay/anil on mobile - [protected] but he not pick up the phone. My mother (70 age) was waited more than 1 and half hour and tried to call him continuously but this guy (Driver vijay) not attended call or response. Due to this my mother feel tired and immediately we visited to clinic and admitted. For this issue only uber driver vijay is responsible.
                Request you to please take necessary action on this guy for future.

                  This is to inform you that today i had booked uber to get a ride for one of my colleague from panchkula, sector - 8 to zirakhpur (Chandigarh-patiala road) with the uber driver mr. Janak at 1:24 p. M. But, sadly with mere disappointment this is to inform you that 1st of all the driver is extremely unprofessional as during the call i was having a word with him, he disruptly hanged off the call for no reason and even after informing the required contact no of the rider, he didn't even bother to call her to get the idea of the pickup location. And secondly he is extremely poor in finding the picking location and navigation of the actual location. It took almost 20 damn minutes in finding the navigation of the picking location, where as he was randomly moving here and there without asking the actual pickup point of the rider, which was not really acceptable and it actually kills the whole time of the riders, despite even of her urgency.

                  Would request you to kindly look into this issue and take the necessary actions as required.

                  Also, looking forward for the better and improved services for the next trips onwards. And would like to blacklist this driver anyway for my next trip with him.

                  Please check how many uber cabs were available today .
                  If you cannot provide services to customer at the critical situation then what will be the use of cabs .
                  Today in Ahmedabad not a single uber cab was available . Still now also not available .

                    I started using uber from april 2017 for my commute from home to office and office to back home. Till now my experience was ok with uber.

                    Please note that my from and to destination is fixed for most of the days and is within 8 kms to i was always charged rs. 49. Also, every day i used a slightly different route which is more convenient and i was still charged rs.49 because it was within 8km.

                    Sometimes it happened that because of their technical issue they over charged me. This issue is clearly visible in the receipts we recieve in email which clearly shows distance travelled at two different places in the same reciept and with huge difference. I used to ask for refund and noticing the difference they used to refund the amount also.

                    This time trusting them, i again asked for refund because they charged me rs. 306.47 instead of rs. 49.

                    But they are not refunding the amount even after pointing out the issue in reciept itself. I am having continues to and fro messages with them on help section o[censored]ber in app, but they are sending me the same reply that i used a different route.

                    My questions are:
                    1. Why is it so that sometimes they charge more and sometimes not even though i use different route?
                    2. Why the over charge is different also even if i use same different route?
                    3. Why reciept shows 2 different distance travelled?

                    Till not i didnt complaint anywhere because i used to get refund and we understand that sometimes technical issues arise.

                    But this time they dont even want to acknowledge that there is an issue.

                    Please help me to resolve this. I have attached the screen shot of the reciept. Please let me know more information is required.

                    On14/7 I take uber to tech airport from maddilalem, visakhapatnam.The distance between starting point to airport 21km is wrong.the same root came back .please see my next ride with 13.5 km. The fare calculation is different.why? My issue is the amount shown at the time of booking is only rs140/, why it is different rs 266 /at the end of trip?

                      I have downloaded an uber app but i am very dissapointed with it...
                      I get different promotion codes in my phone messages from uber.com to be applied in promotion code/gify code but when i apply it.. It comes promotion code not valid and i not able to get any uber offers for ride... If its coming in my phone messages from uber site for promo code to apply then why the app is not applying it

                        Driver gurvinder (Car tata indica phone number [protected]) charged me rs 401.51 instead of rs 74.27. I entered the correct location and i was following the gps till the drop off. And i was wondering how the driver changed the location because it was correct till he dropped me off. Driver somehow changed it after that and charged me extra. This isn't fair - please check driver's phone or how he did it. And he didn't show me that he completed the trip and once i got out of the car he did something on his phone. Same time i thought that something was wrong. Now i can't trust uber at all.
                        They charged me four times the fare i was supposed to pay and they didn't even confirmed me. I was shocked to see the email of 401rs.
                        That's ridiculous. I have been doing lot o[censored]ber rides but now onwards i want to tell everyone to keep a check on uber drivers in india. They are cheaters.

                        Please look into the matter once again.
                        This is very bad experience from uber. I thought uber drivers were honest - didn't expect this at all.

                          Today i was travelling from chandmari to pamohi... My trip was til borbari then i changed to lokhra n then to pamohi... I was showed i would charge between 400 rupees.. But when i reached i was charged 543 rupees... I dont know why my fare has increased too much.. Pleaee refund if it was server fault.. I'm a regular uber customer.. So i did not expect this from uber.. And why did you add distance surcharge as i was inside the city..

                            I took an uber pool from lake market on 15th july. Driver name: rajeshwar. My estimated fare was rs 160. The driver was extremely rude and even when i talked nicely about route and location, he was either ignoring my questions or replying in a very rude tone. He was incompetent in driving and succumbed to the jam even when the left side of the road was empty. I had to travel to salt lake sector 1. I was getting late for my show at rdb so i requested him if he can drop me midway at chingrighata so that i can go directly there and not via my sister's place (Sector 1). He refused!!! I didn't know i can't board off in the middle of the route. I then constantly kept on asking him where can i board off. He remained silent (While i was politely repeating my questions) and sometimes drove with eyes closed!! The shortest route is via karunamoyee but he told he can't go via karunamoyee. I am very sure i didn't hear any new passenger request till then. He took me to an off route to apollo where he got a new passenger request. He didn't take the cab and by that time, i was way beyond my patience! My net wasnt working so i couldn't stop the ride. He wanted to take me via mani square and the longest route possible but i just had to leave. Suddenly, he told i can (By that time he was done stealing my money). He stopped the ride and my fare was rs 208!! He forced me to pay that amount and since i didn't have time, i just took a picture of his phone's screen and kept it as a proof. Now, uber is again showing 177 in the receipt. Firstly, the driver charged around rs 40 extra, secondly uber has charged rs 10 + rs 40, i. E rs 50 extra in the name of a long route. The driver didnt receive any ride request and deliberately took the longer route. On top of that, my entire ride was wasted as i didn't even reach my location, thanks to the driver again. I want my 208.35 rupees back, along with justice.

                            I was charged rs 175 for a trip which was shown rs 49 earlier by uber and this trip was taken by a girl and driver took poor route and she was scared and this kind of behaviour is totaly unsafe for a girl. Please take some action regarding this

                              I had booked uber x cab on 25th july from bhikai cama place new delhi
                              To malibu town, gurgaon and was told at the time of booking peak charges
                              Will be applicable due to enhanced demand. I was told an amount of rs.613/-
                              For the trip, which i agreed. When i reached the destination i was asked to
                              Pay rs.861/- the drivers nos. Are [protected]/[protected]. Normally i pay
                              For this trip which is 28.8kms approx.320 to 350. Driver did not agree to take
                              The mon ey which was agreed upon and asked to make complaint.

                                I hardly remember to book a trip with a primary number on UBER and it is blocked since last 4 years. I forced to use another number t book a ride and shoot many complain but no one replied.

                                  I had booked an uber from howrah jn. To r. G. Kar medical college and hospital. But the driver's phone ([protected]) was switched off. I had booked the ride at 10:40 am and cancelled at 10:49 am after repeated failures to make contact with the driver. I was charged a cancelation fee of rs. 63 in my subsequent trip. But the cancellation was no fault of mine.

                                    I have had been happy customer o[censored]ber since uber entered in kochi – india and it is from uber i start my days.

                                    I had a terrible experience with the uber today morning (26/07/2017). I requested for a uber ride near # to edappally and confirmed the ride with in 5 mins.

                                    After waiting for some time with no reply and response form the uber driver, i called him up and asked for the update. And there comes twist, he said to me “ i am waiting for the trip from airport as i will get 100rs extra, i could not afford your trip” and demanded me to cancel my trip and take the other one.in reply i said, i am not going to cancel this trip for this bizarre reason and i am already late to office now. He threatened me with very bad words when i said i will complaint this behaviour to uber. He didn’t cancel the trip and subsequently my phone got switched off due to poor battery.

                                    I somehow reached my destination by my own means. When i switched the phone again and opened uber i noticed that the previous trip has been reallocated to an another driver named prakash (Hyundai ion) which i felt really outlandish. The trip got cancelled by the driver and uber has demanding me to pay 52 rs as cancellation fees. The ride which made the worst start to the day, i didn’t get the ride from my side and still uber requesting cancellation fees.

                                    I request to take an action against the uber driver i mentioned first in the mail. His name is jinu. Car – maruti swift and vehicle number - kl38f82. I will raise a complaint in consumer court as well for his rude behaviour. He used very bad words to me.

                                    Please look into this so that nobody will have a pathetic experience which i have received.

                                      Respected sir,

                                      unemployed youths of bengal are being lured by evil multi-national companies again, some of these companies having roots in japan (Ola) and some in united states of america (Uber), it is just a recap of 300 years ago evil tradition which was first played by the britishers in bengal by east india company and now by japan and usa through companies like ola and uber, today they are doing same thing but strategy is little different, these companies promises their gullible prey that they will be earning “ ₹ one lakh per month” just by adding a cab in their cab hailing company for which they always have to buy a car on emi, due to lack of funds they take loans and then burden themselves with huge sum of loans amounting from five to ten lakhs which they have to pay back as emi for around 3-5 years, but sadly people never saw their promised money ever. Uber & ola spent a huge sum of money as marketing gimmicks by giving unrealistic bonuses up to ₹ 400/ trip as bonuses and incentives to lure drivers but now a days the story is totally opposite. These companies take at least 1/5th i. E around 20% as their cut from the drivers hard earned money and sometime even charge unethical penalties and always set unrealistic goals for their drivers to achieve, for which some drivers stay online for about 18 hours per day, and then also they are sometime unable to pay their emi, fuel charges, garage rentals, and maintenance costs and many other hidden expenses which is described below in details.

                                      Uber ola is charges their passengers at ₹ 7 / km normally and deduct their commission 20% and govt fees at 5% in total drivers are paid approx. 75% after deduction which sums up around ₹ 5.25 /km.in-trip time charges is ₹ 1 and after deducting fees 25% it is ₹ 0.75

                                      In a month if a car runs for 4000 km in trips they get ₹ 6 * 4000 = ₹ 24, 000/- monthly.

                                      In-trip time charge for 8 hours / day * 30 days*.75 paisa / minute = ₹ 10, 600/- monthly,

                                      And if some targets are achieved, which is very hard to achieve due to increasing numbers of cabs day by day, then incentives are given which is sometimes maximum 8000 per month and minimum is always zero.

                                      Therefore, total earning per month = ₹ 10600 + ₹ 24000 + ₹ 8000 = ₹ 44, 000/-

                                      Breakup of monthly expenses of an average uber ola / cab / meru / cabs

                                      1. emi for 36 month instalment. (3 years) = 18, 000/-

                                      2. fuel 160 km/day @ 12 km/l @ ₹ 57 /l diesel = 13.3*57*30 = 22, 750/-

                                      3. garage rental in kolkata monthly @ municipality corporation = 1, 250/-

                                      4. annual insurance renewal cost with third party @ ₹ 24, 000/- = 2, 000/-

                                      5. periodic maintenance on every 10, 000 km, rs 3000/2 months = 1, 500/-

                                      6. cf costs with some denting and full body painting rs 24, 000/- = 2, 000/-

                                      Total expenditure = ₹ 50, 000 - total earning = ₹ 44, 000 = total loss of rs 6, 000/-

                                      bank and financers will recover their money by auctioning the cars and government is getting taxes in each and every possible ways from buying new car (Vat + service tax + many other tax) to renewing permit, road tax, tax tokens, insurance, music system tax, vehicle cf, pollution, police case, corporation garage fees. Even on fuel there is huge taxes and all of these goes in government pocket, passengers are also winner because previously in normal ac taxi ₹ 15/km was charges but now they get luxury cab with music system and free wi-fi at only ₹ 6 to 8 / km.

                                      uber and ola have already cheated the innocent unemployed youth of bengal who have already invested their family life saving of ₹ 1 to 3 lakh as down payment to get the cab and are now unable to pay their emi and their bank and financers have even started towing their only source of income their cars from them, it’s a very high time for drivers and these companies are on the way of creating a multibillion dollar scam in india just by fooling drivers and cab owners.

                                      Note, uber's first ceo is a millionaire, and even after owning such a big company, why does not he buy his own car, why do people drive cars, because he is more sensible, neither his own car nor any expense, even though uber and our car driver is also our fuel, our maintenance too, ubet company will grow

                                        I want to complain about unauthorized charges from uber. 1st time book a cab and after 5 mins i cancelled bcoz driver takes too much time then book a 2nd cab. After reaching my destination its chages 90/- rs. Why is that so?
                                        This is a 2nd time happen to me. I want to talk to the customer care there is no number and this no[protected] is not working anytime.
                                        Uber - kindly provide the correct no where customer complain & talk to the proper manner.
                                        This is not the way you treat uber.

                                        I scheduled a ride on 16/7/2017 for 16/7/2017 8:15pm.my driver cancelled my scheduled ride at 8:30pm.I had to rebook a ride.thise caused delay in my schedule.
