On tuesday 25th july 2017 at 17.24 pm we were waiting at the traffiic lights at the safdarjung road aurobindo marg (New delhi) crossing behind uber vehicle dl1rtb8356 when we saw the driver through a plastic bag full of rubbish into the central verge.
Kindly educate this driver concerning his civil duty and that his action constitutes an offence in delhi.

Drivers cancel the trip after asking the destination. We are charged with cancellation fee as penalty

    Hi team,

    I've taken a ride on 16th july for a 41.22km route i had paid rs 980.08 on 18th july and again before booking next on 29th july another rs 140, totalling to rs 1120.08.
    I had rs 140 credit (From earlier trips) and rs 75 (Cash back credit from mastercard trip promo of 6 rides) which were applied however removed now!
    Now the receipt itself is not shown.

    As i got the receipt on 18th july after pay i got a mail. Attaching that.

    If i calculate based on the ubergo rate in bangalore without surge fare:
    1 hr 35
    41.22km

    Base 35
    7*15 = 105
    15*25 = 375
    Time 1rs/min = 95

    Total =[protected] = 495 + 5%gst = rs519.75

    Check what route taken and minus toll (Which i paid) for 41.22km it's coming with base fare + minute charge+km charges (Upto 15 and beyond 15km) - credits of (215rs) the fare should be rs520 however i paid total 1120 which is more than double!
    Please check and refund asap.

      I have booked a cab on 30.07.2017 and it was arrived at the location. And when i went downstairs, i dint find the cab there and when i tried to call the driver, he dint answer my call. He has cancelled the trip and dint even inform me. But i was charged for that. Driver's such careless attitude towards customer is not at all acceptable. His name is saidulu. I dint expect this kind of service from an international service provide like uber. For the first time i felt like deleting the app from my mobile. And even for the next trip also the same has happened. Driver has cancelled, but i was charged for that. So, is this the kind of service you provide to your customers. Just look into the issue and act before its too late. And also i strongly recommend to cancel the license of drivers like saidulu, who is so irresponsible towards uber customers. I expect a positive response from you.

        Hi,

        During my last 10 rides, 5 out of it were in cabs full of tobacco smoke and pan masala. Being a sikh and non-smoker, its hard to sit in such a cab. But due to time limitations, have to adjust in. Have a button for it and respond immediately. Customer should be refunded the amount. I've given feedback for rides as well but in vain. I[censored]ber is not acting on feedbacks, whats the use of it. Uber should have it in the ride issues under feedback and act accordingly.

        I took a ride from vasnt gunj to bhondsi on 24 july at 5:30pm, frst the driver Jasvinder came in 40 minutes and then at vasant kunj he said he did not go to gurgaon and drop us out in d mid of the way, after all that he argued with us..

          The über app of my phone ([protected]) is showing after booking the cab, a verification code. It is claiming that it has been sent, with no number displayed on the scree. As soon as the booking is done it is getting negated as the verification code screen is showing up again.

          I have come to kolkata for a family emergency and without uber having problems.

            We took on 20th July a cab at Indore. Driver was rude on phone and later he came to some other spot n waited for us and told us to walk to this place. It was raining n I was with kids n husband. I have told him that have you not got my location? He replied that your location in my phone is where he is standing. Also he mocked me that I am new to this city so can't guide you and gave him a landmark, which he responded that he is also new. He was actually mocking to my response. He later refused to take us. I am disappointed that uber still hire such unruly drivers. Later I have booked another uber and guy has got my location correctly and picked us to our destination. I complaint to uber through app but tilldate no response received from them. They are very unprofessional company.

              Today i have book cab from mansarover park to rani bagh i called the driver name ankesh he said i am coming 6 to 7 minutes at your place but he was not reached i called again then he said my car is now accident so i am not coming you called another cab. I told him i am not cancel it you have to cancel it this cab he was agreed to cancel the cab but he was not cancel it and forward it to another driver but the second driver not call me for ride the cab was stand in shahdara half hours in gps and driver of second cab name jalaludin cancel the ride the message received in my mobile. So i have requested for my next ride please cancelation charges will not be deducted.

                Dear sir,
                I have earlier sent complaints to uber india. No acknowledgement so far. I was harassed and cheated by the uber driver mr abasaheb. On 28th july, i have taken a ride from nigdi to amanora park town in pune. The driver was not having any cash for exchange. He was very rude and threatening. I somehow managed to arrange for cash. However, when i wanted to book uber next day i, e 29th july for another ride, i was shocked to find that the status was written as not paid and amount of rs 505/- was shown as outstanding. I tried all the number o[censored]ber available and which they share ( ([protected], [protected], [protected] etc) but each time it came as wrong number.
                I have made 2 complaints at their site but so far no response.
                It is harassment and cheating to me. Not only that the driver was allowed to go scot free but i have been cheated. And uber is clearly encoouraging and abetting such practices by i) not responding my complaints ii) not allowing any means to me to even reach to them.
                I am now shuddered to think that the misuse uber is resorting to. Can i get resolution. I am sure, uber will not dare to behave like this in us or in uk but they treat indian customer shabbily and with disdain.

                  My last trip with uber was on 27th march 17 from gold gym law college road to my home in aundh for which i had paid driver kiran rs 142 cash but now when ever i request an uber it's showing payment pending. If i had notpaid him how would he go without the transaction?
                  May be he hasdone some mistake.
                  So please resolve this issue as i am not able to book my next ride.

                    Today morning i booked a uber car, and after the journey was completed, instead of charging me the discounted amount of rs.21.28 (Since i had applied a promo code), also charged for last two cancelled trip also.
                    But those two trips - one on 20/05/17, 8.16 pm and another on 23/07/17, 5.42 am were cancelled due to the refusal of the drivers. This is really harassment for me. Why a customer will suffer for the refusal of the drivers. The company should take action against such drivers & immediately arrange to refund the amount.

                      I am vishvas and i used uber rides too much and one day my uber app already uninstalled by own and in my account there is 132rs in my uber money. And if i installed my app again uber app shows that, dis number is already registered change your number and i forgot my password. Can you please tell me how to install again and use uber rides again and got my money back.

                        I booked a scheduled trip yesterday for 30th july 5:50-6:05 am. So i came from bathroom around 5:55 in the morning and i checked uber if i got the driver details. When i opened app i got the drivers details in the notification bar but when i touched it, it wasn't happening anything so i again closed the app n opened it and i saw it was automatically cancelled. Then i had to book another cab for which i got a msg that i will be charged extra 60rs for my next trip and i owed it. Really??

                          I took a trip on july 26. I took uberpool and i should have received a bill of rs 49 but got a rs 89 bill. Same thing happened on july 29. Even after reporting issue to uber support, neither they are responding. And few response provided by support were irrelevant and were diverting context from actual issues. I also tried contacting support on twitter but uber isn't responding.
                          Reporting genuine problems, uber isn't taking action instead violating all norms and laws.

                              My colleagues and me took an uber cab on 28th jul evening from bellandur to kathriguppe. We told the driver to take the optimum route that we suggest which the driver denied and said he will be using the route shown by map on app. As we travel every weekday at the same time in that traffic, we know the best route to reach the same destination. The reason for denial was that the app will lock if he takes a different route. We had to ultimately spend 20 mins more than the usual travel time in the traffic by taking the route suggested by the app. I don't know whether the driver was right or lying. If not don't you thing the passenger has to be given the liberty to choose his route until the destination where he gets off is same? As far as i know, i have taken the best known route whenever i have used uber cab and no driver has given this reason. Please look into this matter and resolve if issues exists. Thank you.

                                27/07/2017, i booked uber through my cell no. [protected] at 9.17 a. M. Dasharath driver cancelled without any intimation to me so i again booked uber at 9:27, gurram driver was cancelled my ride without any intimation to me. That day (27/07/2017) i did'nt use uber service. So today, i was charged subsequently charged in my ride at 9.09 a. M. (Driver vishnu) i protested and paid rs. 157.

                                I need to know the reason why i should be penalised for no mistake on my part.

                                Please refund immediately or otherwise, i will be not using your services which i have been continuously using from last one year.

                                  Dear concern, yesterday i had booked an uber cab from my travel from delhi domestic t1 airport to dwarka sector 3. The cab driver refused to pick me up from the pickup point at the airport stating he will have to pay additional inr 150/- for entering the airport (Which i believe is covered in the bill). And asked me to come out of airport. This was funny and had never happened with me before. I told him the same and also said that the bill includes this additional 150/- inr which you are talking about. He said no and asked me to cancel the cab. I said i will not cancel and if you want you cancel it. Then i booked another cab from ola (Which by the way didn't charge me any thing extra and its bill included inr 150/-) and came back to my destination at dwarka. Then i received a message from uber that your ride is over and i was charged inr 53.99/- bearing invoice no. Gfveyxwg[protected]. I do not understand why i was charged??? And i not only want to get my money back but i am definitely willing to press for legal action against these guys. These guys do not have a call number also in case of such issues happen where the driver misbehaves with the consumer... I also complaint about this incident on the online portal provided by the uber. And i received mail from them that they have an ivr system and i should go there and select refund and do the necessary steps as stated. I called that no. [protected]. Ivr came and never gave me an option which i can select for my refund... Hence there was no use of that ivr also. I have no option left with me as how to communicate the issue to uber people...

                                      Today in the morning trip in gurgaon, i forget my phone in uber. I was going for an urgent meetings so in hurry i left my phone there by mistake. Experience which i got after that trying contacting uber is just horrible. Following options i tried at that time -
                                      1. I checked my email receipt and tried to track last trip but that required otp to proceed further (How can person provide otp when he/she already lost his/ her phone in the cab)
                                      2. I searched for helpline number/ customer care number o[censored]ber (It was mentioned as "we dont have uber customer care india contact number" - that was just available for other countries except india.
                                      3. Consider it as an emergency, i tried contacting emergency number but that was also not available at that time. (All number mentioned on website are just of no use if cant be contacted at time of emergency)

                                      None of the options helped me to contact single person in uber. Its a request to you to revise your all contacts on the website and streamline the process. Please just do not give any number just to waste person's time at that moment.
                                      This is worst experience i ever had with uber, i will not consider uber in my list from now on words if step is not taken to consider my request.                                         I booked an uber go vehicle in advance in the morning of friday (28/07/2017) for a pickup at 08:40pm from lemontree hotel, hitech city, hyderabad to mubarak manzil, sun city, hyderabad.

                                        The fare showed at the time was between inr 250 — inr 280.

                                        I checked in the evening as we all know the fare can deviate slightly, and the fare displayed was inr 227 — inr 273.

                                        The vehicle arrived and it wasn't at my pickup location. Upon requesting the driver, he refused to pick me up from the pickup location and advised this is due to heavy traffic and i had to walk up to the cab which was about 300 metres from my office.

                                        The ride started and the total distance was 23 km.

                                        And then, to my absolute surprise, the fare calculated was inr 644.00.

                                        This is way above twice the surge pricing.

                                        I tried to convince the driver it's incorrect, but he requested me to pay up and contact uber help for a refund. Even he agreed this route and the distance doesn't cost more than inr 300.00 even with surge pricing.

                                        So i paid inr 650.00 (The drivers never have the money which needs to be given in exchange).

                                        I contacted uber help through the app and they are always trying to justify this was the right fare and i keep getting standard scripted messages.

                                        This is cheating and i think the auto rickshaw drivers are much much better compared to the service uber is providing - looting citizens in the name of providing cab services.

                                        Iam doubtful if i will ever book an uber cab or recommend it to someone else.

                                        Uber is cheating people in india and even the partners/drivers complain about it. The government should ban uber in india and ask them to exit the country. Also uber should be fined a hefty compensation because of the unethical practices and ways of conducting business.

                                        We do not need uber in this country.
