I used uber cab on 19th july from munnekolala, my residence to l&t campus in manyata tech park, bangalore. When i was booking, it showed a price of around 350 inr and i confirmed the trip. Due to some delay on road, it finally happened to be a long trip. The fare was deducted from my paytm account. And when i realised there was surge pricing of 1.6x times added additional to the time and distance surcharge. Otherwise there should be one price which displayed in my app while booking the trip. Now i am trying to get the uber customer care to understand that i was not given notice of surge charge at all. Instead answering this question, they are explaining what is a surcharge.

My normal trip rate is 275 approx., and i paid 485 for this trip.. Which is no where a fair practice and that too not keeping the customer informed about it.

Please take action, why the cab drivers are not interesting to come and pick up at Kailasagiri Hill Top, Vizag, they are not paying interest and demanding more money, today i felt cab drivers disappointing me that they didn't reached the place where i stayed more than 2 hours.

    Uber charged me for faults in their mapping system. I was charged rs.50 in excess when i booked through uberpass.
    My fault - i asked the driver to drop me at the front gate of my office when uber mapping system was showing the drop location as the back gate (Exit only).
    The funniest part is that to reach the back gate i had to go 1km extra. So i was literally charged extra for saving my time, the drivers time and fuel.

    I understand that computers can be faulty at times. But when i contacted customer care the human (I assume) gave me the same script. What is the point of having a human out there is the don't understand logic?

      Last week received a promo (Enclosing message screenshot) on flat 50% off on uberpool. While trying to book, saw fare not getting applied and normal fare only coming. Wrote to support. They told (I have those emails) take a ride and write to us. We will refund. Believing them took a ride on friday afternoon. As usual no discounted fare. I paid the full fare with mastercard and then my mastercard free ride was applied and 75 rs was discounted on full fare for mastercard. Then i wrote to uber asking flat fare discount. Fare was 151, for 50% off it should be rs 75.50 and then mastercard already discounted rs 75. They responded we already see discount. I told that's free 6th ride form mastercard. Nothing to do with you promo. Then they responded that 151 promo itself is discounted. Nothing to refund.

      Enclosing the screenshot while booking. Ubergo (Witout any promo etc) is rs 218 and they are telling rs 151 o[censored]berpool is after 50% flat off, so uberpool normal fare 302 and ubergo 218 as per their explanation.

      Adamantly they didn't refunded their promised flat fare promo refund. This is pure cheating. This week also they are on the same route. Sending that as a separate complaint with all proofs.

      Please resolve the issue. These people are simply thugging and cheating customers

      Now coming to this weeks promo message. Received message again On Uber Flat Fare - 25 for 4km, , 45 for 6km and 74 rupees for 10 km.
      I tried to book one for a distance less than 4km, so flat fare should show 25 rs. But again App showed normal fare. Enclosed screenshot of the promo, map area of the promo (proof that my booking area in within the promo area) and then App showing normal high fare.

      Wrote to support. Again they responded same way, take a trip write to us and then they will look. Now like last week again they will loot the whole money luring with promo offer. I didn't used Uber this time to fall into their planned cheating trap. I wrote to them flat fare should show in the app. Why will I take ride and write to you. Now last message we will look into this in next 24-48 hours. So by that time the promo period will not be valid. This is really becoming a fraud company now and sending only pre-fixed message form some automated system. No one is looking into customer complaints etc. They need serious lesson now. Please resolve.

      Further update to my complaint earlier. After my complaint on UberPool flat fare not working at App, Uber simply removed the Flat fare message from App, though the App message and SMS clearly stated that the offer is valid till 23rd July 2017. This is how they deal with complaints. They didn't refunded my last weeks promo balance and this week also once I highlighted that their Flat Fare offer not working, they simply removed the message from App.
      This is really frustrating. I have their SMS as proof of the UberPool flat fare offer valid till 23rd July

          On 16th july sunday at 5 46 pm i booked uber at rajiv gandhi international airport hyderabad. Mr peeru maruti suzuki ritz was engaged and i got his details and called him to come at pick up point. He asked me the destination and i told him panjagutta but after 10 minutes he called me to cancel as his vehicle has problem. I told him to cancel this trip instead of me but he insisted and because i was getting late i cancelled it and got charged rs 52.50. His phone number is [protected]. Immediately i booked another uber and got the details of mr lakshmi prasanna at 5 :53 pm. I called him to come to pick up point d at airport. He said he would arrive soon. I waited for more than 10 minutes but he did not arrive. I called him 4 times from 5:55 pm to 6:03 pm but he did not answered my call. His phone number is [protected]. Later as i was getting late i cancelled this trip and booked metered taxi. I was charged rs 52.5 for this cancellation also. I was charged both the times for no fault of mine. I want refund of rs. 105 for both the cancellations.in fact uber drivers are so rude and careless towards customer feelings and day by day their services are deteriorating.             Morning i travelled from amar colony lajpat nagar.. Driver came 20 min late, does not know how to see google map, did not tell how much to pay.. Did not start my ride guess... After sometime my ride got cancelled... But i paid cash... Please do not cut cancellation charges i paid cash. Taxi number driver mujahar. Toyata etios
            While coming from lal path lab driver mukesh wagon r dl1rtb4131 took money rs108 but i paid through pay tm i got late msg dat one fourty rs has been deducted.. Please refund. Enough o[censored]ber non sense today.. Please take action asap.

              Last week i have attached new driver kishor to my account.
              Today as while reviewing my account i found near about 8400 amount deducted for two week in reason of my new driver had purchased mobile phone from uber last year for his business. Which he left for some reason.
              Why recovery from my personal account??? I haven't did any deal with uber for mobile phone purchase of kishor.
              Please cooperate as i have been partner with uber from last two years.

I have paytm money unused but cannot made payment. Every time i have to make payment through cash. As a result i have to go for ola cab. Hope you can help me to resolve the issue.                   I am writing this mail with utmost disgust. Inspite of several mails and also visiting the uber kolkata office many times, my issue remains unresolved.

                  I am an uber user from the initial period when the service was launched at kolkata. My user id registration was as per my mobile no. (Which is still existing) and my email id that i was using that period. The same has undergone change due to change in my organisation and job. Due to some changes in my company email server, the domain name had changed to a new one. Due to this, i am not being able to avail uber services anymore. I need your intervention to change my email id as am unable to avail your services. Would appreciate if your customer care executive calls and speaks to me regarding my problem and solve my issue at the earliest. Please do not send any mail with pre-decisive message.

                    I have been using uber everyday to go to office for the past 4 months. So much i got an uber pass.
                    Yesterday (18th july 2017) i took the same trip to my office which i have been taking for 4 months with same start place and drop location. I was shown an upfront fare of 49rs but after the end of the trip i got charged 174 rs almost 4 times that shown. Also even if you forget the uber pass the normal share rate at that time was also 49 rs.
                    I registered the complaint to uber help and they gave me a # excuse that uber pass is valid only for 5 km or something.
                    1. I take this trip everyday with uber pass or pool. Everyday i am charged 49 rs. Today also. Only yesterday this 5km limitation came or what?
                    2. Forget uber pass, normal share fare upfront was 49 rs.
                    3. I have also taken uber pass for 15 km. I know for 15 km it is 99rs.
                    Whatever the reason i was charged extra.
                    Please refund my money.

                      Dear sir/madam,
                      I'm extremely upset with the uber service. On tuesday, 4th july. I had booked an uber from tollygunge club. The driver, rintu, came for the pickup. When i sat in the cab he asked me my destination.. I said opposite quest mall. He stopped the car and asked me to cancel the ride. I said but the ride has already started and i will be charged for the ride.. Plus i have to urgently get home as my mother in law wasn't feeling well. I pleaded.. But he simply refused.. Saying this is his last ride for the day and it is not on the way to his house. He said cancel it.. These things happen everyday and uber refunds the money. I was forced to cancel as the driver would simply not budge.
                      I booked another uber for more the double the fare as it was urgent for me to get home. I am simply disappointed and disgusted with the attitude of your drivers.. And am beginning to wonder if this could be any money making tactics.
                      Thanking my stars that this incident took place in broad daylight and not at night where i would be stranded in the middle of the road waiting for the next uber to arrive.
                      Uber standards are really going down. I had written my review the same day but no one bothered to get back to me.

                        Today (19/7/2017) i called up a uber mini cab... He was very rash in speaking and also dont know how to talk to customers and cancelled our trip... And took 52.50rs as cancellation fee which is a loss to us... Driver is from hyderabad uber cabs.. Please pay back my money... It is not the case with uber... It should promote or say to customers that there will be a cancellation fee... Do return back my money... Advertise these important matters first before promoting offers

                          Hello team,

                          I have tried to contact you many a times through the app, but no response, here is a feedback

                          Please stop red zone in kalyaninagar & baner/aundh area of pune, morning 8:30 am in kalyaninagar and after 18:30 in baner, fares are hiked by a large margin, even though cabs are available, this is a problem for regular customers like me.

                          1. Fares are hiked even though cabs are available
                          2.8:30 am to 9:00 am and 5:30-6:30 pm fares are not justifiable
                          3.8:30 am in kalyaninagar (Pune) and after 18:30 in baner (Pune), fares are hiked by a large margin
                          4. Fare hikes and surcharge should be justifiable
                          5. Drivers take advantage of red zone and park their cabs so availablity in normal areas is hampered
                          6. Please stop the concept of red zone, this is taxing the customers monetarily
                          7. This has to be looked into very seriously, else you will loose customers like me and many more
                          8. This is a topic of discussion now in pune across many customers and in many areas, i want someone really to look at this

                          Please look into this asap and escalate to your senior management, and also send a response to me.

                            Last morning (18th july 2017) i had to reach my friend's place from where we were going to college with her father, but they kept waiting for me just because i had booked uber to reach her place and i had no idea about the poor services.

                            I had booked uber pool tor lb nagar petrol pump (From kartikeya nagar nacharam). The car arrived in around 30 minutes to pick me up (Though it showed 17 minutes on the app) and the driver asked me to get down in rain exactly at the petrol pump in lb nagar. I requested him a number of times to take left before we reached the petrol pump as i had to go to someone's house but he refused and went straight till petrol pump and asked me to get down there. As i was alone i couldn't do anything. I took an auto from there and went back on the same road to reach my destination. I unnecessarily kept my friend waiting just because of the delay in pick up added with the driver's stubborn attitude. First time i had taken a cab which drops on the main road without asking the passenger where does she want to go. It was like taking a bus service instead of a cab service. The following are the details of the cab and the useless driver:

                            Hope your company will train the drivers before authorizing them to carry passengers in name o[censored]ber. May i expect a refund of the ride charges?

                              Driver cancelled my ride without intimation & penalty was taken with me. Why? What was my fault whenever i faced a lot of difficulty & was being late for destination. Driver name is swatantra partap.
                              I booked a cab & mobile will show the message that cab will meet me near 6:45 am. I left the train & coming out of station. He reached the station before the estimated time. He called me but i had luggage in my hands & i am handicapped so was unable to receive the call. Without recall or without waiting me he cancel my ride

                                I received promotional offers from uber time to time but when i applied them to my account, it display the msg that codes cannot be applied. When i enquired about this at customer care they told me that they have deactivated this service to my account with no specific reason. Because of which i have to book the rides with high charges without any discount. When i asked them to tell the reason they told that they cannot tell me the reason due to there terms and conditions. Please resolve my issue as i have to pay very high charges for my rides

                                    In my family we all prefer uber. I have booked an uber at 6.17 on 18th july 2017. I have waited till 6.50 and the driver cancelled the uber. I had planned a movie with my mom, grandmother and grandfather. I missed my film and i had drop the whole plan.                                       Dear sir/ madam,
                                      I m chakraborty, i traveled uber from gulmarg co op housing society baner to ramkrishna math, pune by tata indigo bearing registration no mh 14 fc 2171.
                                      The driver was unprofessional don't follow the gps navigation even in capable to drive in pune city. My estimated price was 398 finally the driver lost the way, i was decided to left the car in dagdu seth ganpati temple my final price was 546. The driver not turned on the gps navigation.
                                      If a driver did not follow any gps navigation why should the customer bare the execess amount? Even i m also from a service industry. Is this the way to deal with the customers?
                                      I need to revert back soon, if not i will take further action against uber.

                                        Today (July 18th around 7 pm) i was dropped off at the wrong location even after continuously discussing with the driver that my trip shows complete even though i havent reached my destination yet. He took me 3km away and as he accepted another ride, he asked me to get off in the rain and refused to drop me to my final location. I had to pay double the amount, i was stranded in the rain and i missed the event i wanted to attend. I am very disappointed and unhappy and would like a complete refund of both my trips (I had to request another uber because the first driver did not drive me to the right location). I also request you to ensure that the app is functioning properly for the drivers and guide them on how to deal with situations like me. Leaving me alone in a location i do not know, in the rain is totally not acceptable.
