This is 2nd time such thing has happened to me, when a uber cab driver who couldn't find the correct pick up location from the aap, even after talking to him on mobile multiple time he didn't reach the correct loaction, and cancelled my ride and i have to bare 50rs.
Whereas multiple times i booked the cab from that same location and drivers are able to reach there all the time.
Driver name madhu swift dezire (0660) last 4 digits of reg number.
I was charged 52 rs unfairly and i want my money back also i have to suffer alot due to that driver, i got late in my schedule and have face difficulty in re booking the cab

The fare shown is 286 and driver collected rs 324 from me which is illegal. I have sent screenshot from my mobile and dat driver mobile too. I hope ur team can help me out of dis problem i called help line that time only they said to complain

      I booked a cab from the airport in kolkata on wednesday july 12 at 8:53 p. M. And someone else got in the cab and took the trip while i was charged rupees 179.21 for it via my paytm account. Uber's customer support first denied a refund and then promised to refund the amount within three days and email me an updated trip receipt but neither has arrived. Since then they have not replied to multiple messages to the helpline via their app. The fact that i did not take the trip is not in doubt as i had to book another uber from the exact location once i was told what had happened to the first one.

        In the name of pool uber is looting their customers. Today i had took pool cab at 9:28 am from iffco metro station, my driver took me to sushant lok for another rider he spend 15 mins to find her and dropped her first and then me but now they have charged me extra 80 rs for distance and time, so tell me is it fair to charge me for someone else mistake, driver took long route another rider made me travel more but guess what who is suffering me and paying extra bucks as well. I need action against them. I don't care if i have to go to consumer court as well, its not about money its about rise against corruption.

        Uber Pool is doing this with everyone i book uber pool from sector 52 to sector 32, they pooled me with someone whose drop is in sector 14, so driver dropped him first crossing road near by my office and then dropped me. this took approx 1 hour whereas it takes 25-30 minutes otherdays.

        they charged 141 instead of INR 49 and their support says this is due to surge price of heavy demand, how come if i book cab for Rs.49 and then have to pay 3 times of booking amount.

        i know surge price is 1.2 or 1.3 how come it can be 3 times, i think i have to put this to consumer court as they not only waste my time but charging me extra too

          On 11th july i had took pool cab at 6:20 pm and paid 49 rs. Through paytm and at 7:46 pm i took another ride on pool and this time i have opted cash payment method then i received message from uber that you need to pay previous balance of 49, which i already paid via paytm, i thought may be there is some technical glitch so i paid 98 rs in cash, but after writing several times uber did not bother to respond to my query. Pathetic customer care service. They must be stopped otherwise they will loot us

            Yesterday 16/7/201 i booked uber around 9. He accepted the ride., i called him and confirmed the pick up and drop place., he was on the way for pick up., his car was not moving in the map., waited 10 min s. I clicked screen shot of that map., i called him he told on the way., seen his car moving opposite direction and stop and further no movement., i called him further he didn't pick the call., again i clicked screen shot the map., i will upload the photo below kindly check the time top of that both pic., i was not able to book another uber ride because this ride is on., after half and hour he was in the same place and he cancelled., and uber charged 52 rupees

            From Railway station - we had booked cab 2 times. But there was not a single message received from uber about confirmation and we waited fro 30 minutes. Not a single uber came.

            Very bad service.

            Can not recommend to any one.

              I have been charged incorrectly and after multiple follow ups they are not taking any actions, they are just giving scripted responses..
              I have taken uber sharing, rs 49 was showing at the time of booking but i stepped down from cab before my destination as the cab was smelling as yuck as if someone has vomited, and uber charged me rs 105 (Double the fare), they gave reason that you changed the destination when we dont have an option to change the destination in uber pool.in just stepped out the moment i could see an auto to commute to home..
              Please check the attached screenshots for your reference.. This will help in understanding the issue better..

                I booked a cab from ombr layout to rmz infinity bangalore on 14th july 2017. A promotional code blrjul100 was already applied in my account and i had taken 3 rides using that code. That code was for 10 ride till 16th july 2017.

                When i booked the cab the estimated fare was showing as 97 which after 100 off amounted to 0. Now they have billed me for 90. Later they changed it to 70. And they are adamant on the fact that promotional code for 75 off was used which is a mistake on part of their system but they are putting liability on me.

                Even after repeated requests to furnish the details about when i applied this 75 off code and why they billed me for 70 rs when the estimated fare was 0 they are not giving any satisfactory answer. I am very frustrated by their attitude

                  I have booked an uber for a trip of 3 km whose estimate was less than rs. 75 for which i have been shown as rs. 0 when the cab is booked as i have rs. 75 off, but when i have ended the trip it deducted rs. 9.32 from my default payment mode - paytm, showing the total amount as rs. 84.32
                  My start and drop location was not changed within the journey time and the driver followed the usual route suggested in navigation, then where from these extra amount popped up? On raising this issue, i have been told that the amount shown is an estimate and not the exact one. For a journey of 3 kms how could the amount get increased than it has shown as an estimate. I have travelled far more kms via uber but never faced this duplicity before.in the name of promos and offers you are cheating riders by increasing the final amount than it is actually showing while booking.

                  I need a justification that why the amount get increased for a 3 km journey and following the route as suggested in navigation.

                  Uber didn't acknowledge my problem posted over here, hence I took it to Twitter where I got their attention but still I need to chase them a lot and made them realize that amount is wrongly deducted and finally they have refunded the amount back to me.

                    I was visit to sai nagar kalamboli from my pick up point at gomti, barc

                    Start 11.47 from barc to 12.37 kalamboli, which shows 53.48 km duration 00:49:02 fare taken 790.07.

                    Driver was infront of me start mobile but after reached they shows as above

                    Its a more charges which was not my use route also taken

                    So i book return trip as same from my spouce number

                    Start 7.46 pm from kalamboli to 8.54pm barc which shows 24.82 km duration 01:07:17 fare taken 359.91

                    Its a really too much loot.

                      We booked uber drive from Ladha Palava City to Dombivli East. total distance is 10 km. Normally charges for rental cars are Rs. 160 to 170 when you book Ola or Uber.

                      However, today driver Mr. Anil Morya from Uber asked Rs. 425/- which is completely illogical for only 10km. When I refused to pay Rs. 425 and asked him to come to police then he denied. Then I called customer care o[censored]ber and mr. Narendra attended call but he refused to launch my complaint and asked driver to get full amount from me. He also refused to transfer call to his senior. I would like to take legal action against uber for such a non sense act.

                        I was charged cancellation fee twice! I was booking cabs from bangalore airport.in the first time the driver wasn't picking up.. I called around 10-12times. He wasn't even moving in my direction, so i had to cancel.in the second trip, the driver moved but called me after sometime and asked to cancel. I want a refund of both these cancellation charges.

                          I've booked the cab on saturday, 15th july at ~ 8:20 am. Started calling the driver, he picked the phone and told that he is coming. After that when called he picked my phone and told that he will come after getting the tire filled but since i had to attend a meeting, which i told the driver and asked by what time you can come. But he didn't reply and cut the phone. I thought he will come. After that whenever contacted, he started ignoring the phone call.. Then i had to cancel the ride.

                          Again i started trying to book another cab which i could not, as every time it was reflecting that you pay an amount of around
                          Rs. 72.

                          Though it is unfair to charge the customer without getting ride that too when the customer got late due to delay by driver, it is most unpractical that the customer is facing time constraint and could not book another ride. Over & above uber is penalising the customer by charging the ride which never happened.

                          This is the kind of professionalism which has been experienced by the customers o[censored]ber.

                          Whatever rides i had with uber, i have always rated them very good or excellent. But this time i am blaming uber to have this kind of approach. You earn money but not for the rides which never happened.

                          I suggest to leave this practice of charging unfair money from your customers otherwise a lot of competitors are already in the market.

                          If it is done, as a fair practice, you may return the money back.

                            I had travelled from uber cabs from noida to igi airport on saturday 15 july. They showed me an upfront fare of rs 253 for booking which was indeed a sweet shock to me. But i cancelled my regular cab n boarded uber for a change. But they had done this strategy only to hitch customer. Falsely as they charged me rs 655 when reached airport.. On referring. The matter this is what these people say

                            I understand that you have an issue with the fare. I'll be happy to explain.

                            It looks like you were shown an upfront fare of inr 253.48 before you confirmed this ride. On reviewing your trip, i see that the route taken was different from the gps suggested. Hence, the upfront price was not honored.

                            The upfront fares are calculated dynamically based on various factors like duration, distance, high demand in the area, these fares remains unchanged as long as the destination remains unchanged and the suggested route is followed.

                            Also, based on the pickup and drop off locations of the trip, we can confirm that the updated fare of inr 655.82 was calculated correctly.

                            I have tried arguing them by my query but the answer us standard as above everytime just befooling customer

                            Please confirm what drop off location i changed from the entered previous drop location. I am made to understand my booking was from noida sec 23 to igi airport terminal 1d and i boarded off there only. Couldnt understand the reasons for such hayware replies o[censored]ber. Customers are not fool after all regards

                              Pl note i booked on 14th july for delayed trip on 16/07/2017 at 6.00am (Up coming trip) for dropping point netaji subhas international airport, kolkata but your company didn't respond. Nighter your company s driver details nor driver himself contacted. I waited till 6.15 am. Then i had to search other vehicle. I had to cough up rs 500/for the trip, exploiting my emergency situation.
                              Your company uber is one and only responsible for creating this mesh.
                              Why people booked latter trip if this is the performance and lack lastre attitude o[censored]ber. I didn't find this trip details in your mobile app also.
                              Pl compensate my harassment financially. After getting your response i will proceed for next action.

                                This is to inform you that we booked 2 cabs now at 1.54pm and 2.14 pm respectively on 15/07/17 and both the bookings were cancelled by the drivers. One was etios 7096 varunakumar and indica 0641 waseem and his mobile number is [protected]. Moreover the cancellation charges are billed on us.

                                This is not the first time such cancellations are happening.

                                Request you to look into the matter and make our lives more easier.

                                Please respond asap on action taken.

                                  Today morning i booked a cab from vodafone house ahmedabad he didn't cane for pick up after booking i called him he didn't picked my call i tried again his cell phone was switched off i waited near about 10_15 minuts but he didnt came then i cancelled and booked another cab.                                     Today afternoon at 12:36 pm, i have taken a ride and the fare was shown as inr 49. However when the trip got ended, the total fare came to inr 103. What is this. I have not deviated even 10 metre from the gps proposed route.

                                    Don't try to cheat people with the wrong information. While interacting with customer care executive they are saying that i have deviated from the route. You may pls check with the driver whether any alternative route is there.

                                      I am from kolkata. I took a trip this afternoon at around 4pm from sahidnagar, kolkata.
                                      As i had a promo code already registerd when i was checking the fare it was saying the fare would be only rs.14/-. I had that money with me so i booked my trip. Now when i reached my destination my fare was of rs.109/- and with my promo code it came to rs.59/-.
                                      Now i was shocked to find that my fare has suddenly changed from rs14 to rs.59. I only had rs.30/- with me... I was literally panicking on the road...
                                      Luckily a relative of mine was passing by and i rushed to him and got my fare from her.
                                      This is actually a very very dangerous issue and most importantly "a very embarassing situation" for me. I would immediately like to get a refund just now.

                                        On july 9, 2017, in evening i have booked an uberx from dagadusheth temple pune. I did not get into the cab and did not take the trip.
                                        They charged me 94.50 rupees twice for the ride that i have not taken. The driver was very late and then himself cancelled the trip. Once again the same thing happened and third time uber was finally booked but that time i was forced to pay double cancellation charges in addition to the fare estimated. This already happened to me before when the driver cancelled the trip because it is far away. And they dont even have proper customer service that will help us in this time of trouble...
                                        However, i did not get any response nor my money was refunded.
