I had already raised a complain with uber on 8th june 2017, but no action has been taken yet and i got a response that you had selected wrong payment option they refunded earlier so cannot be refunded.

Its open cheating and grabbing hard earned money in the name of wrong payment option selected.

Complaint details
- i was charged double on 8th june 2017
- driver was aleemoddin - toyota etios.
- incident
From home - to - rgia airport - aleemoddin - rs.401/- he took cash from us.

From vizag airport - to - meghalay hotel - trinath - rs.401/ + rs.179/- = rs.580/- he took cash from us saying prevision amount pending.

I was with my family and trinath said his device is showing that i had not paid in previous trip and as per device rs.580/- need to be collected, so i thought to sort out with uber requesting for refund and gave him full amount.

Now your team says its my mistake... Let me clarify in points

your app should charge me on paytm and i should get an update if it was paid from paytm. I did not get any sms nor i was notified about this.

your driver should not take cash as i had selected payment method as paytm but he requested for and took cash.

i had complained more then a month ago, you have got enough time to investigate and refund the amount.

Just updating that you had selected wrong option for payment and charge for double it need to be fixed either by you or by govt.

After the trip and after being cheated in such a way, i was thinking i am educated and i am able to voice out my concern but what about those who are not much aware of technology, as old age people or illiterate. They may not use user service 2nd time but i want to make sure they do not lose their money 1st time also.

    I booked uber but driver called me and said that his vehicle has some problem so he can not come to pick up me, he needs to go to repair, i thought he may come but he didnt came and he told me to cancelled then i booked another uber and reached to my destination... And these happen two times in last three months. Two times i gave extra charged i. E 150 rupees..

      I was ride with uber on 1st july from mohali to chandigarh. During payment i was left my cell phone in car. I contact with my cab driver mr satnam, mobile no-[protected] & request to return my mobile. He accept the same and give me time on next day to receive the same. But still he didn't return and he didnt my call right now, so it was my bad experience with uber. & one more thing that was my first ride with uber.

      Yesterday I booked a cab uber pool driver name is vijay car is Hyundai Xcent contact no of driver is[protected] the uber pool driver is very bad stupid foolish driver he did not know how to talk and he is drunk also he did not drop me at my place I want you do strict action against him

        Hi team,

        I was incorrectly charged for my last ride from sector 48, gurgaon to mg road, gurgaon on 13/07/2017.
        The amount shown in the app was 140 but i was charged 293 for the ride.
        In the receipt it clearly seen that they have incorrectly charged me.
        I need my refund in the cash and also want a compensation for the inconvenience.
        I have attached receipt.

          Dear sir/ madam,

          This complaint is regarding uber service. I believed in this company alot till i faced an issue. I thought it was a small issue and will be resolved instantly. But i couldn't believe that a company like uber would do this. Good i faced an issue hence i came to know about the originality about this company.

          I was given some promocode o[censored]berpass (Screenshot attached) and the validity was till 2nd july 2017 which is clearly mentioned in the screenshot that i am sharing.in this code you get an option to book the ride at flat 159 rs if the distance is within 15 kms.

          Since my ride was within 15 kms i automatically got this option to book the ride from uber pass. I dint apply any promocode etc. Automatically got an option. Few times before also i had used this, and it worked successfully. One ocassion i was coming from borivali to andheri and i again got this option to book from uber pass and the amount showed me 150 rs (Sceenshot attached). It was 159 till the ride ended. As soon as the ride ended my fare rates plunged to directly 415 rupees. I told the driver to call, he did but uber dint listen a word. The driver asked money from me. It was option in cash. I could have walked off without paying him but i trusted uber that it will be sorted.
          But my trust got shattered when i saw the kinda responses i got. I thought firstly i will get an instant response since they dont have any number to call. God knows incase of emergency what help they can be to the customer if their response is so slow. The response what i got is it is the surcharge before booking the ride. But i have been using uber since inception dude. If the price rate is fixed, how can it change? Then i get a reply your promo code was applicable till 30th june. When i asked them to read the email the sttachment was there which showed it was till 2nd july. Ignoring that reply again, a new reason comes up that the kms was exceeeding 15 kms. And i lost my cool. Can you imagine? If it exceeded 15 kms then why was i given an option to book from uberpass and if you check the kms it is around 14 kms. I replied that the driver had taken service road instead of highway cos he wanted to go to the washroom. Is that customer's fault. Trust me such kind of replies made me furious that what the hell is uber doing in india? The replies had no context to my queries. Before resolving the query they term it is resolved. They dont know their own promo codes policies. It has been 5 days now again that i am waiting for their another reply? Are we really craving for such kind of services? It is not about money now... It is jus not about refund now... It is about fixing them right now... Are they obliging giving us services?

          I want justice and some action to improve their customer service. Screenshots are attached herewith

            I have been offered uber pass by uber where there would be no surge pricing up to 10km. I used to go to my office using this service daily. But since last few days i ma witnessing that uber is charging tremendously high and intentionally showing a route which is beyond 10km. When tried to reach them, they clearly stated that my trip was more than 10km. I showed that their app shows more than their committed fare even for a distance of 5 km, but they refused to refund.

              I got message yesterday for 100rupees of on 10uber rides. I tried applying the code, it didn't show invalid so i thought the coupon has been applied but i didn't get the 100rupees off. If there is no such offer why do you send such text with 100rupee 75rupee o[censored]sing code blrjul100 or julblr75. Check the information before sending such message neither 75rupee worked nor 100rupee.

                My contact no is [protected]. I have been charged 629 rupees just for 4km (From Fun to shahara ganj ) . While booking the ride it was displayed only 49 rupees no peak charges but they have charged 629.
                Request you kindly refund 629-49= 580 Rupees to my account.
                I have already mailed to uber customer service mail id but i have not got any response.

                  I would like to complain regarding my uber pool trip from raj bhavan rd, hyderabad to ac guards, hyderabad on 12/07/2017 at 1210. The initial fare displayed was inr 39 but the driver demanded inr 139 as displayed in his uber app.

                  1. First the uber pool was expected for inr 39. So even a ride with uber go or xl would have cost me less than 139. So a fare of 139 was unacceptable. It is unfair to ask for a higher fare without justifying the exact reason. It is totally unacceptable just to display a list of reasons why the final fare has been changed. I was unaware that the final fare could change and had refused to pay the driver the amount he asked because my app still displayed inr 39 so i had tended the same amount to the driver. I feel sorry for the driver because i realize that the problem lies with uber and not with the driver's app which i thought was faulty.

                  2. The minimum distance for the journey was about 2.8 kms for the trip and for a minimum time needed of 15 mins as shown in google maps at that time using available routes. Because of the pool and the driver picking up and dropping a second customer after picking me up, not only the distance was prolonged to 6.8 kms but the duration of the trip was prolonged to 45 mins. I was unduly delayed as a result of this.
                  I cannot be charged for a longer distance if the driver is picking up other passengers and trip distance gets longer.

                  3. It is unfair to ask to pay a higher fee without giving sufficient explanation.

                  4. I could have booked an uber go or ola and reached the same destination faster and at a much lesser cost at about inr 70-80. So this uber pool seemed a waste of time and money.

                  5. Help and support from uber is not easily available. There is no option to contact uber for support at the time. There is not even a contact us option any where. I guess this strategy is to avoid complaints.

                  6. Overall, this leaves me with a very bitter experience with uber pool. I would never recommend to anyone as it unreliable and a waste of time and money and unduely stressful.

                    I had booked my uberpool ride at 6 p. M on 11.07.2017 form park street till my home which is barely 2 kms from my pickup destination. At the time of bookin the fare shown to me was rs.29 and hence i booked my ride. Due to another pickup on my ride as it was share ride the cab had too take a longer route and i reavhed my destination after 2 hours which otherwise would have summed up to hardly 30 mins. On reaching my destination uber charged me an unrealistic and astonishing amount of rs.600 while i had booked the cab for only rs.29. This caused immense argument between me and the uber driver, overhearing which my aged and ailing parents came to my rescue. I and my family had to face a lot of trauma due to such kind of service from uber on rainy and waterlogged streets. On complainig in uber they accepted that i had booked my cab at rs.29 but later backed out saying i had accepted a surge of 2.9. Even if there is a surge of 2.9 it does not summs upto 600. Till now i have yet not received any reply from uber and the matter is still unresolved. To add to this the amount of fare rs.600 which was pending is showing me double today i. E 1200, this is utmost disgusting.
                    I want uber to appologize and reslve the issue and pay me for the agony caused to me and my parents

                      Today (12/07/2017) i have taken uber ride from gamma-1, surajpur kasna road to takshshila apartment abhay khand 3 indirapuram ghaziabad at around 4 pm

                      At the time of booking the approx fare shown in my uber app was rs.360.75.

                      I have taken ride in vehicle no-dl1rtc0667 a white color maruti swift desire.

                      Again the driver on reaching destination asked me to pay rs.618. Since last two day it is happening to me i have to again pay.

                      Please refund my excess amount paid.

                        Hi team,
                        I have an ongoing issue with the uber, the drivers are keep on cancelling he duties and last night when i boarded the cab, the driver was drunk and cab was stinking, even the driver can't speak properly due to drunk, when i marked an email to uber, i got a call from hyderabad and the lady on the phone was very rude and keep on defending the driver, she is also least bothered about the case and keep on behaving absolute rude and then disconnected the call.

                          On 9th july'2017 i booked cab at nice road to jakkur bengalore, i got the info about the driver rout saying 13 min it will reached, after half a hour i call the driver mobile no-[protected], he did not pick the phone, i keep on calling for nearly 45 mins but did not get any acknowledgement from him, so i drop the sms, still no answer from driver.

                          After waiting for one and half hour no replay come from him. Here is my point is if driver not free or not intend to come to the pick up point, would have simple tell the clint that i am unable to come or reach so the customer can arrange alternative.

                            I took uber pool from bhumkar chowk to kharadi eon it park, pune on 30, 2017. Initially i was shown my fare as 360 inr. At the end of the trip i was charged ₹ 724.36. There was an other passenger who shared 80% of the trip distance with me was only charged 350 inr.

                            Why uber charged me with extra money on the pretext of "surged distance" and "surged time". Despite several complaints and reminder to them i have not received any suitable response from uber.

                            Kindly look into this problem at the earliest. Please return my money.

                              I booked the cab i had applied the promo code it showed me that i have to pay 0.00 cash to the driver after that when i reached my destination he mis behaved with me paise do paise do then he snatched the phone with me virender he said kangli hai tu paise nahii haii to cab ku kari i want a strict action against him i am trying customer care number but it is saying wrong forward my complain i will complain for him in police too for kis behaving with a woman

                                Today (11/07/2017) at 15.30 i had a uber ride from gamma 1 surajpur kasna road, greater noida to takshshila apartment abhay khand 3 indirapuram ghaziabad and at the time of booking economy fare was shown on uber app to be rs. 353.43 paisa but the driver vikash driving maruti suzuki swift dzire having vehicle no dl 1ye-5386 charged me rs. 612/-.

                                Even at the conclusion of the journey the fare was shown on my mobile is rs.353.43 paisa. Showing on his mobile rs.612/- and since he was getting rude i paid the fare.

                                I have been utilizing your service since last few days commuting to and fro from my home to office and never ever even at peak hour such amount was charged.

                                I request to refund rs. 170/ at earliest.

                                  Today they charged me extra 53 rupees for the ride that i have taken.in the last trip driver came and said he is not carrying the documents and said he is not going in that route and said he is cancelling the trip. For that i am forced to pay. This already happened to me before when the driver cancelled the trip because it is far away. And they dont even have proper customer service that will help us in this time of trouble

                                    I have booked cab today and waited for more than 15 min. Cab driver stop in some location and telling me rudely to come over there. When i reached to him he told your trip got cancel. And this is not happening first time. So many times it happened. They are spoiling uber name simply. And one pathetic thing we can't contact to your customer care for same. App should have that option.

                                      To the concerned authority o[censored]ber company.
                                      Today morning, around 5 am i reseved a uber taxi, driver named nissan sunny, his contact no [protected] from ejipura to bengaluru ksr city junction. I called him so many times, he cancelled my all calls. I was getting late to catch my train which was scheduled to depart on 6am to hubaali. Thought to book another uber taxi but he didnt cancell the order and with that i waited him to almost 20 minuts but still he neither pick my call nor cancell my order. Finally i had cancelled without other options and booked another uber taxi. At last, he made rs 52 charges for cancellation. So is that my fault or driver? We all know your company is running well & repuded company. So you should eliminate such unworthy driver.

                                      Hi whenever I book a Uber cab they getting hundredrupees extra fare. I asked them they saying cab is canceled due to that we are charging that they saying. I didn't cancel any cab please don't do the same please. Please refund the amounts please.

                                        I have been charged 3-4 times back to back for cancellation of my trip that too we cancelled due to late pickup. I booked a cab at 9:30 and driver came at 11.30.
                                        I tried to cancel the cab at 9:40 itself but due to server error i couldn't cancel and after that i forgot to cancel the cab.
                                        But for same uber has charged me 3-4 times, i am tired of mailing them but they provide me only one response that is you are being charged due to ur last cancellation. They didn't even call to solve the issue. I mailed them 3-4 times but no response. This is too much from ubers end to handle as it's not first time this is happening with me. I have suffered with the same issue earlier as well but i didn't get time that time to follow up on this issue.

                                        Uber location reading us flawed. Driver penalized me saying he was at pickup location and i wasbbot available
                                        Uber deducted an amount of 350rs from my paytm account. Uber payment method is Paytm.i did some research and got some details from paytm and it is saying some hold charges by uber. It is really unexpected..i did not find any reason of this deduction. Request you to look into this priority..donot break trust that we have on uber these days..
                                        Came from the world, nayapalli, bhubaneswar to samantarapur, bhubaneswar around a distance of 8km. But as per your bill it is 62 km and accordingly charged rs437.00.so kindly take action to refund of money.
